A new daughter for Lance?! [Chloe and Lance]

The freezing rain was pouring outside of his house as Lance looked out the window and sighed "No job for me today... no money..." he sighed and flopped down on his couch with a loud breath "I wonder what we have to eat..." he muttered as he walked into the kitchen and started to rummage through the fridge. While he was safe in his house the streets were almost flooded and there was barely any soul in sight. except for the birds chirping in the safety of their nest. The clouds were almost black and it looked like it was night time outside although it was the middle of the day. Lance walked back into the living room with some warm tea and sat down on his couch with a sigh "Bored..."

Chloe was not really sure why she was in Magnolia, she just knew that this was a nice place. She was always for going towards new towns, but by the look she chose a bad day. The rain was absolutely pouring to the point where wearing her special hat wasn't keeping her very dry. She was sad as she walked through the rain and trudged. The bright side was there wasnt alot of people out to scare her, just the eight year old on her own. Sometimes she wished she could have something like a pet but she never really saw something she would want to get.

Lance was sitting down drinking his tea and sighing every now and then. Eventually he looked out the window to see a little girl passing by. His eyes widened a bit at the girl trudging through the rain. "Poor girl..." he muttered as he felt sympathy for her and stood up before walking to the door. He opened it and was hit with a gust of wind that made him step back a little "Hey!" he called out "You know someone young like you shouldn't be roaming around the streets in a storm like this!" he said as he opened his body up a little to show her the inside of his house "Why dont you come in a rest for a bit. I have some tea that I could give you and a towel to dry you off!" he welcomed as he waited for the girl to respond.
