Blockades... Again (Solo/Job)

Job:

Elyx decoded that it was time to go see how the train station was doing since they can't seem to handle a barrier on their own. It was just two simple enemies that the station had to take care of, they only had one job. And instead of trying to get help from the soldiers, they end up having to call on Bounty Hunters? Despite trying to wake up early, the way he woke up today, he could imagine an infinite amount of ways he could have woken up better. Ignite transformmed in the middle of the night, and now she is no longer a Phoenix bird, but now a DemiPhoenix with the appearance of a human.

Ignite had all orange clothing with long orange hair, and despite her elegance, she still had very much power. Unfortunately, she still had the mentality of a Phoenix, and she still through she was able to fly into the air. So she jumped into the air, trying to fly onto his head to peck him. But now with this new form form, the laws of gravity are now strong enough to hold her to the ground, and now she hit Elyx so hard that the floor under him shattered to pieces of wood.

The two of them were now walking side by side now, quite the embarrassing meeting it was. Elyx had a bandage on his forehead while Ignite was just straight up embarrassed. Sorry about that. Ignite said as she then looked at her blade. It was a simple sword, something he could trust her with at least. She did not pull it out yet, she had that much common sense at least. He decided to not blame her, she was still ignorant to the current situation, and she was just trying to wake him up after all. She still had the instincts of a Phoenix Bird after all. Its fine Ignite, you are still new to this whole human body thing. Elyx replied. Can he trust her with a sword if she wasn't exactly sure how human ways worked. Well, she knew how to walk and cloth herself, and she learned when and when not to enter his room. As for her approaches... They were special. She was also extremely strong, maybe this mission would be a piece of cake with her on his side. He then decided to have a little fun with her, and the ending result was rather humorous, yet a little shocking. Wait a minute, you aren't sorry at all. Elyx replied, causing the Demiphoenix to smile. I know.

All right, this really crabby train conductor is having trouble with this blockade again. You weren't born at the time this happened, but this is one we will avoid for obvious reasons. Elyx explained to Ignite, who formed her shape in the curious circle shape. Great, now she probably wated to meet him, she was always a free spirit, but maybe he should teach her about boundaries. Not right now though, even if she wanted to meet him, he will just steer her the wrong way on purpose. All right, but I want to meet him after this job is done. Ignite explained as she then looked around, bored obviously. But this was the process of travel, he had no way of being able to move any faster, but he could entertain her at least. He summoned his Violin into his right hand and his bow on his left. Then tossed them both into the air and shattered, causing a bunch of light to shatter like a firework show. Ooooo, that's pretty. Why haven't you shown that to me before baka!? Ignite exclaimed as she playfully hit the back of his head. Elyx fall forward due to the intense force, she still doesn't know how much power she had behind her muscles. Ow.... Elyx said painfully as he stood back up and looked back up, brushing off the dirt from his clothing. He then turned to Ignite and crossed his arms, and she put her hand behind her head as a shade appeared over her eyes and a cartoon sweat drop slid down her hair. That was when it happened, an ambush.

'Monster Dice' :

Heh! The first vulcan exclaimed as it aimed a shot at Elyx, but then he rolled out of the way to avoid the slice. The second Vulcan tried to fight Ignite, but it wasn't going down without a fight. Don't worry Elyx, if there is one thing I can do, it's to take care of trash like these two. Ignite said as she pulled out her sword, but only to stare at it awkwardly for a few seconds. It seems she wasn't able to use it, being a Phoenix in the past meant she never really did have to use one at all. Ummm... How do I use this thing again? She asked innocently, and everyone around her, including the two attacking Vulcans, they all had shades over their eyes and cartoon sweat drops lowering throughout the hair. This was embarrassing, and she didn't even know why. Then the Vulcans had enough and began to laugh. Ha! She can't even use a weapon right!? The enemy laughed, and that caused the attention to turn to it, and Ignite wasn't too happy. Even if she was learning how to use it, no one should ever laugh at a lady when they are learning something. She put out her palm, a few sparks appearing below the first Vulcan. No... I may not be able to. But I can do THIS! Ignite exclaimed as the sparks then turned into a fire around the enemy. The Vulcan seemed rather shocked, but Elyx knew that she had quite the hot temper. The Second Vulcan charged at her with its blade extended, but the Violinist jumped with his Knight Iris blade extended. Then he sliced a the defending enemy blade, using the Iris effect and causing his blade to go through the enemies as if made of air. This caused serious damage to the vulcan, but not enough to defeat it quite yet. Meanwhile, Ignite burnt the other vulcan to ashes.

'Monster Dice' :

Elyx looked at the weak Vulcan ready to end it but that was when two goblins struck him from behind and causing him to fall on his face. He was able to roll them off and get back up onto his feet, but then he heard the Demiphoenixs voice again, and this time it didn't sound like she wanted to avenge herself anymore. At all costs... Ignite said as the two weights were then lifted off of him, and he rolled onto the side so he could see what was going on. And he saw a new side the Demiphoenix that he never thought could make her look this scary. He would hate to encounter her in this angered state, she is powerful enough to make him fall when she was just joking around, these were Goblins, way weaker than he was, and she was fumed by the two of them. To make things worse, they actually began to taunt her! Talk about sealing their fate. Before he could watch what happened, the Vulcan tried to force Elyx into a headlock, but Lerale Eye caught the movement just in time and he spun his recovery and flipped himself into the air, causing the weak Vulcan to fall while the Violinist rose back up onto his feet. Sheesh, next time, try to be at least a little more exciting.

The Goblins then lunged at Ignite, who stepped to the side quickly, only for the second one to be behind it, she ducked the next incoming attack as well. The first goblin tried to be annoying and continue the jumping around so the Demiphoenix had no space to breathe, but she did a kick kick just in time, striking her boot in at the stomach og the Goblin and sending it into the air, blood showing from the body, sure. But he could sense that wasn't the only area, and he didn't like where it also came from. The nose!? You looked at... Ok, that's it! Elyx exclaimed, only for the Vulcan to grip his legs. How many hits did it take to kill this thing? He looked down at the enemy, with a smile full of bad intent. The chocolate bar in his left hand and the Knight Iris in his right hand. The Vulcan stopped and tried to look innocent, but it was obvious what the Vulcan was trying to do, and now it was going to have to face a heavy penalty. He stomped on the head of the Vulcan three times before knocking it out, each impact having a sound of bone in each one. He then looked back to Ignite to see how her battle was, forgetting the nose bleed from the goblin string at Ignite. Once he remembers though, it's the end for the Goblin and he will personally take care of it. She didn't know what it meant, she was still so naive.

Ignite stepped to the side of the second goblin, seemingly losing energy, but the fire in her was still active while the goblins are forced to run around them to try to get to her. Got you! The goblins would exclaim very often, but she would jump to the side quickly, both of them being weak. She was trying to dance with the blade, but she was hopeless and looked rather stupid while she was trying to swing. But now wasn;t the time to tell her that, and even if it was, he would rather not address it in such a harsh way. Maybe saying that it was a... special technique. No matter how anyone slices it, she needed sword wielding lessons, there was no way Ignite could do this on her own. However,, she was luckily able to barely land a few hits on the skin of the enemies. Elyx was eating a chocolate bar and watched as her flames began to control themselves and the goblins were beginning to have a hard time. He then looked behind his back, sensing something that wasn't going to be pretty. The job wasn't going to end too quickly now it seems, there was some more enemies headed his way, and he needed to hold them off while Ignite took care of those two. Come out and fight me right now if you dare! Elyx exclaimed as he leaped into the bushes, laying his eyes off of the Demiphoenixs fight.

This Vulcan seemed to be a lot better at combat than the other two, she even had a sword. But she was still an enemy, so he needed to make sure to end this as quickly as possible. It doesn't seem like this will be an easy fight, he needed to be able to go all out on her. You display an amazing show, but the Sherbert... I'm sorry, I have to kill the Court Jester who dares takes away that from us. From that point, she jumped into the air and spun a few times with her sword extended. The violinist blocked the attack a few times, before the Vulcan landed on the ground quickly. He tried to slice upwards while she landed, but she jumped backwards with the sword spinning behind her. The Vulcan zipped through Elyx and his defenses, his sword unable to block the attack, forcing him to fly into the air. The combo continued when the Vulcan tried to slice him to the ground while he was still airborne. Instead of letting that happen, he using Wind Lerale Aerial Recovery to spin around with the blade extended, causing the Vulcan to fly back to the wall. When Elyx hit the ground, he tried to run at the enemy, but she rolled to the side as he sliced downwards, the metal hitting the tree. He rolled backwards to avoid a counter attack, and the both of them were looking at each other, their bodies facing each other. Not bad. Elyx said with competition in his tone. You're not bad, but lets see if you can keep up!

The Vulcan jumped back at Elyx, spinning her blade to the side, but he jumped back with the blade behind his back spinning. The Vulcan sliced at Elyx before he could zip though, three hits before the fourth one was blocked and countered when the violinist spun, knocking the enemy back and sent her flying. He ran towards her flying body and jumped into the air before he sliced downwards and slamming her to the ground. She rolled backwards a bit dizzily, before she hit the tree behind her. The vulcan was still trying though by trying to leap at her opponent, but the violinist sliced through the sword, and the Knight Iris effect activated. It went through the blade of the Vulcan and sliced through her once again. It's time to end this! Elyx exclaimed, his speed quickly taking in. He zipped through the Vulcan seven times in many different distractions before he jumped up to the top of her head with pure intention to end this with a final blow. He sliced his blade downwards and the ground ended up with a small hole. It was easy once his speed kicked in, but now he might be focused too much on it and Ignite might be having a lot of trouble.

Elyx ran back out of the bushes to see how Ignite was doing, seeing that he had left her in combat. But that was then he didn't see her anymore, nor did he see the goblins that were attacking. This could be a problem, but Wind Lerale Boost gave him an upper hand on this one. He was able to sense some magic flow from the east, he needed to travel quickly. The thing is, that is where  the train tracks were,  but they defeated more than one Vulcan and the goblins were being handled by Ignite. He ran as fast as he could, blurring a little bit into the air as he continued to run towards the tracks. Got ya! Ignite exclaimed as she sliced at one of the two goblins clumsily, but she was rather confident about it surprisingly. He decided to help her out. That same goblin she sliced at, he finished off with another slice to the side, and he won that battle from their. Well... That's one down. One left to go, let's take it down! Elyx ordered as the two of them looked to each other, both ready to spring. The goblin had no chance of living from here. It was going to be a brutal ending for the enemy.

The goblin leaped at Elyx, done with trying to deal with Ignite. The Violinist stepped to the side to let it land on the ground again, but it tried to spring at him again. Using that predictable strategy that requires two of them to do the exact same thing at different times? This goblin wasn't the brightest knife in the drawer. When it leaped again, Elyx jumped back up at it and pushed his arm against his enemy so it would roll backwards. Ignite jumped over the violinists head and aimed a right fist as it, but it rolled to the side jump in time, causing some of the ground below that punch to shatter. That looked so devastating, now he knows that he shouldn't get into a fist fight with Ignite. She quickly kicked the goblin before it knew anything would hit it, and it hit a tree with such huge impact.  He jumped into the air and delivered one more blow to its stomach against the tree to finish off the rest of the goblin. According to the job, that should be the final enemy. Elyx turned to Ignite with a proud smile, she did very well today. He reached into his knapsack and obtained a chocolate bar before handing it to her. Try one, its a reward, I think you'll understand why I love these so much. Elyx explained as he handed it into her.

At this point, be was starting to regret doing that. The next step they needed to do was check to see how the railroad was looking and see if there were any more attacking Goblins or and more attacking Vulcans. Anything demanding such a huge sweet ransom. With the reward offered, he can get a bowl of sherbert for him, Ignite, and a few friends from his guild. It was a short easy job, sure, but someone had to do it. Plus, it would count for his daily job that he needed to complete, one a day. He decided to check the railroads, but the DemiPhoenix made that rather hard to do. It was like trying to travel with the worlds biggest eight year old. Give me more chocolate bars! More more morrrrre! Ignite exclaimed, possibly awakening everyone around the tracks of the train. He held his knapsack safely so he didn't end up getting robbed, and running away from a Phoenix raised animal is tough. You ate half of the bag! Save some! Elyx exclaimed still running, only to trip on the now empty tracks. He looked behind him, only to force himself to duck so Ignite didn't topple him over. It seems the tracks are cleared out now.

Hold it Ignite, look at these tracks. I want you to remember our job, then give me a full summary of what you see. Give me as much detail related to this scene right here. Elyx explained, looking at the railroads, the overall results was that there was nothing left to be done here. He wants evidence of why such is the case. For example, he can hear a train coming, the sound faint, but able to be heard without Lerale Boost or Eye. Ignite took a moment to observe the tracks, feeling them... For some odd Phoenix related reason. She then looked to the side in which the train sound was coming from. Ignite then turned her back to Elyx as she stepped off of the train track. She had a smile on her face and he hands behind her back. The detective music in the background could be heard. Out job here is complete is what you want me to say right? Ignite asked, and Elyx nodded his head as he clapped softly before letting the DemiPhoenix continue speaking. These very tracks are the ones that were blocked I believe, that is what the job description was right? Noe hear me out when I explain what I think I know

Entertain me Ignite, I need to know if you can interpret data. Elyx explained as the train sound began to grow. He pulled Ignite off of the tracks so that she would not end up being track kill to the train after a recon test. She stumbled a little, a little shocked, but when she looked back at the tracks, the regular neutral explanation facial expression returned. The train roads were blocked. Train tracks, they were blocked by the goblins. How? If the train wanted to, it could just run over them right? No, they had more than that, someone must have gotten onto the train. One of the goblins or vultures, and that would cause them to shut down the station. Ignite explained, seemingly done with the explanation of how it was closed. It was a nice theory, but there was no proof to back that up. He decided to give her credit for trying to figure that part out. So how do we know its done? Its not like they only attacked one part of the train tracks, and even less likely we found the exact area they were hiding out in. Elyx asked, knowing the answer to His own question. But he wanted to see if the DemiPhoenix can use her senses as evidence. And fortunately, she did. The train... Its making its usual sound. If the train wasn't available, why is it traveling now? Ignite confirmed, and that was the exact answer Elyx wanted.

Elyx emptied the knapsack in his arms, handing Ignite all of the chocolate, and for the first time ever, he ran out of chocolate. It was a reward for her in the end, very suiting how she likes something that used to once be a poison to a Phoenix. Thank you! Now we need to get the reward right? Ignite asked as she bit into another chocolate bar, leaving a trail of wrappers behind them since she had no pockets. You got that right detective Ignite. Oh... We probably shouldn't have you introduced without a last name. Any ideas of what you would like your last name to be? The Violinist asked, but he didn't understand that she was still oblivious to the ways of a human. She tilted her head to the side as she looked at him wifh a puzzled facial expression. Before she could say anything, he had an answer for her. For his guild. Ignite Rosella. Elyx said, turning to Ignite to see if she approved. Her face brightened even more after hearing the name.

The both of them exited from the office of the train station, a bag of jewels in each of their hands, and both of them with shaken up expressions. Can people seriously be that mean? Ignite asked as she shivered a little bit more. The two of them successfully stopped the track block that gave them many problems. The goblins and vulcans holding for ransom shouldn't be bothering them anymore now.
