Kids were running, people were playing, even teenagers were running. Balls crashing with the wall, teachers drinking some coffee with each other, kids staring at the clock waiting to strike 2. All of them playing and laughing excited, but there were always people who suffered, kids being bullied.
Marik was being payed to do a very easy job, bully a bully. Change a bully's mind, and make him stop. But a dark mage wasn't the best person for this stuff, in deed, they'll have no mercy and will make him stop, but that's the problem. Maybe Marik could be a bit rude with that kid.
The masked man was standing with his back against the wall, waiting for the bell to ring, waiting for the kids to go out "What a boring job...". Marik took a heavy breathing as a woman walked close to him "Hey, are you waiting for your kid too?"
Marik laughed and placed one hand inside his pocket. He stared at the woman in silence and then spoke "Not my kid, but yes" the woman smiled and asked again "Are you his uncle? Family? Or just a good friend?" the masked man gave a step forward next to the woman "Non of those, but I'm sure that he won't forget me".
The stranger kept quiet, staring at the man, and then, the bell finally ringed. The kids started to go out, running with their family and hugging them, but some kids use to go walking to their house. This kid in particular, the bully, liked to wait for his friends to go, and then go. When they all went to their house, Marik was the only one there, the teachers were inside the school, and the kid was standing next to Marik, scared. "Hey kid" he said. The bully decided to ignore him and walk to his house scared.
Marik laughed and walked behind him, the kid started to walk faster, trying to lose him. Marik was much faster than him, but he kept walking trying not to walk faster than the kid. The masked man took a heavy breathing and whispered to the kid "Why are you so scared? If you don't like people to bother you, why do you bother others?" the bully's face changed, he started to run, scared.
"You are fast kid" Marik said taking him from the head and pulling him back, the kid stared at Marik, scared, the masked man laughed and placed him on his shoulder, walking back to the school. "Put me down!" the kid shouted punching his back, when the kid fell something sharp, he quickly stopped punching him "What is that in your back?" Marik kept walking and answered "Nothing, just my weapons, but don't worry, I'm not going to waist them with someone like you".
Marik walked to the school, when he arrived, he placed the kid in the floor and took a heavy breathing "Kid, I'm here because I don't like bullies, and I don't want you to keep doing this, that's why I'll tell you something... Stop". The masked man stared at the kid, but the poor bully didn't know how to act, he kept silence. He was very scared, but knowing what the man had to say was enough to calm him down.
The kid smiled and moved his head down and up slowly, trying to say yes "Do you promise it?" the masked man asked again, moving closer to the kid. "Yes..." he whispered "I didn't hear you?!" Marik shouted "Yes!". The kid shouted back and stopped smiling, Marik punched him in the head and shouted back "Don't talk to me like that!" the kid fell with his face against the ground "But you started..."
The kid stood up again and smiled, he ran back to his house trying to scape from the masked man without letting him know. "Wait!" Marik shouted, the kid stopped scared and turned around with a fake smile. "If someone tells me something about you, or even if I see you doing something... Don't forget, that I'm a dark mage" Marik pointed at the school with one of his fingers, he laughed and a beam went out from his finger, striking the school and creating a huge explosion "And don't forget, that I've killed before". A cold silence surrounded the place and the kid kept still, staring at his school, or staring at the floor where his school use to be "Anyway good luck at school, don't do drugs and study".
Marik went out of the place with his umbrella covering him from the sun, the kid was behind him staring at the school, he couldn't believe what just happened.
