Personality:
At an early age Ponta lost both his parents to a bandit attack on his village, he escaped to be adopted by monks of a Buddhist shrine. Those monks raised Ponta in every way they had lived their lives so he picked up their habits and mannerisms, but during his twenty third year of life the shrine was attacked by a evil men looking for the secret to the monk’s magic. Unable to stop them Ponta escaped due to the monks stalling the men, losing their lives in the process. Although this would make most become vengeful and hate filled Ponta turned another cheek and continued the teachings of the monks who had taken him in. He wished to live his life for others, not himself.
 He is very quiet voiced, his mannerisms are kept simple and kind. You will never lose an argument to Ponta, but you will also never win, because he doesn’t have them. His view is to never say what needn’t be said, and arguments cause people to say them. Ponta also looks at people with no judgement, seeing as he views all people as equal, even if some may not be.
As most people would get angry at someone being rude or arrogant, Ponta shows no change, he is equally as kind and giving to all, except those who attempt to harm others for malicious means. He would often be found watching a conversation unwind rather than be a part of it. He likes to see how people act, and how the react. And during his free time Ponta likes to play with children and animals, he loves how their happiness is boundless, and their ability to overcome wrongs done to them rather than fight back. They mirror his way of living in that aspect.
In battle Ponta is often similar to himself outside of it. Watching, Sitting still and reacting. You will almost never see Ponta throw the first fist, or the last. His view on a fight is that it should begin and end when it must, not when it can. In that view, Ponta’s goal is not to hurt his opponent but to stop them. If that requires him to render them unconscious so be it, but it is not his first response. Although many would view this a treasonous and strange, if one of Ponta’s enemies is in danger of serious harm or death, he will fight for them. As he says, “It is Buddha’s choice who enters and leaves this world, not man’s.”
There are times when Ponta will start a fight is if he believes someone else is in danger if he does not. In these rare times Ponta will use all his strength to keep all from harm. Along with other views, Ponta lives his life for others. In doing so he also puts other’s lives before his own and would gratefully lose his own in place of his allies. Living that way puts a strain on the people in his life but Ponta prefers it that way. He never wants to let another person lose their life again. After all, everyone must coexist.

Most people would view Ponta as lacking in some of the more valuable leadership skills seeing as he does not like violence. But when he is forced to take the lead he always puts safety an utmost importance. While being led Ponta can be a bit of a pain in the rear again due to his views. He will listen to all orders except those that his way conflicts with. He will never follow an order that would break any of his three rules.

Likes:
- Nothing Beats Drinking tea under the bright glare of the mid-day sunlight. One of Ponta’s Favorite things to do is relaxing sipping some tea.
- “How can I enjoy having something that someone else has never even had the chance to try?” Ponta’s view on money is abnormal in the guild lifestyle. He would rather buy half a bowl of soup for him and someone who is hungry than a whole bowl for himself.
- The grass stains, the roughhousing even the accidental bite. Ponta loves playing with children and animals whenever he gets the chance.
Dislikes:
- Violence is never the answer, and it is also something that Ponta hates the most.
- Being intoxicated never helped anyone. Ponta has a very deep seated dislike of alcohol.
-  Seeing someone go without is something that truly bothers Ponta. He would give someone the shirt off his back rather than let them shiver in the cold.
Motivations:
- Coexistence would be the best word to describe his motivation. He wishes for the whole world to be able to exist without maliciousness.
- Another motivation of Ponta would be to see the smiles of the children of tomorrow. He loves viewing happiness in others.
- To protect. Ponta’s goal in life is to save as many people as he can from death’s unkind grasp.
Fears:
- Ponta’s greatest fear is feeling someone’s life end by his own hands. He knows one day he might be forced to do it, but hopefully no time soon.
- Losing someone he cares about again. Ponta has felt this sorrow far too many times, he never wishes to feel it again.
- Slayer magic. Although most who use it do not do bad with it, Ponta is made uneasy around a form of magic created solely for killing.

Appearance: Ponta is not the tallest around, but even without an advantage in height his body is impressively toned.  His normal dress includes a Buddhist monk’s robes along with sandals. Along with the guild tattoo on his left palm, Ponta has a tattoo of a parasol, which is often used to represent protection from the elements on the inside of his right forearm.
