Find those Puppies

Apollo looked at his job and gave a brief smile as he looked down at the paper. “Finding some puppies huh shouldn't be to Challenging"   He smiled looking back up.  As he walked through the streets of Magnolia He couldn't help but smile at what a nice day it is outside.  He walked past some people noticing it was rather crowded for some reason today which wasn't odd he supposed but it was still...something.  As he checked the time he realized it was already running late and had to pick up his pace.  As He got to the house he saw that is wasn't super nice but also wasn't bad looking either probability belonged to a middle class family or something of that nature.  He slowly approached the door and sighed straightening his tie bit.  He then knocked on the door and looked up and waited for a moment. A few moments later an elderly woman the door looking at him.  She looked pretty grumpy all things considered.  Now what it could just be because the puppies are missing but nonetheless he held his hand up.  “Um hello ma’am I am”  and got cut off.  “Don’t bother just get inside”  she said with a sharp tone.  He gave a sigh and walked in more nervous than he was before.

He walked to the woman’s home. The house was nice but it had a different feel to it the house felt more like a museum than the actual home. As he walked along the hallway looking all the paintings and wall your woman snapped at him again. “Don’t go touching anything you hear” she said with a sharp tone. “Oh yeah definitely a museum” he thought to himself as a beach to table. On the table there were five pictures, all of these pictures being puppies of course. “Sit down” she commanded in a stern voice. Apollo nodded and sat then looked at the pictures some noticing they all had names underneath them. “Are these the-“ he has getting cut off again. “Don’t speak unless spoken to” she snapped at him. He simply nodded and sighed. Then the omen spoke. “In case you didn’t know these are the puppies I contacted you about” she said in almost a snobby tone. Apollo just nodded a bit. “I require you to fetch them they have been missing for a few days now they need them back can you do it?” She asked looking at Apollo. Apollo being careful with his words began to speak.

“Yes ma’am I should be able-“ he gets cut off again. “Charlatan to you of his ma’am business, man spoiled brats today…” Apollo want to strangle this woman on the inside so the course of him being here he hasn’t even finished a single sentence.  But he was professional and he was representative of the Fairy Tail guild.  So he simply nodded. “My apologies Charlatan,  and yes I should be able to find the puppies.”  She snorted at him “good and you have 12 hours to do it.” Apollo’s eyes widened for a moment and then he regained his composure.  “Charlatan I will do my best to find your puppies within-“ once again to no surprise she cut Apollo off.  “You will find them as I will not pay you”  Apollo side just nodded figuring that was safer than talking.   Your woman sliding the pictures to Apollo the puppies names were Ryees, Chi, Zoradia, Nadarr and Yuri.  “Well what are you doing just sitting here go!”  She commanded to him.  He hastily got up and left beginning the search.

After all of the house beside muttering to himself. “Good I didn’t want to be there anyway” but with that he started his search. You want to Magnolia for a while wondering how we should find where you should start. “talk about the needle in a haystack.” He groaned a bit. As he got to this nearby the center of town you couldn’t help but think that time limit would somehow stressed this whole situation even though it was a big of a deal. “How on earth I will find them with his pursuit just jumped to me” Apollo never being very good at testing fate spoke too soon as something jumped on his head then often running down the street it was a black puppy with green eyes then looked up what a puppy came from then down his photos again. A few seconds went by. “Ryees wait!” He called chasing after the puppy.

Apollo chased the puppy down the street as it ducked in with the people who managed to keep up with the small puppy or at least not how he was chasing now. Their too many people as he kept bumping into them which only it’s turned slowed him down even more. Yet his thinking about how to capture as you start was getting more and more. “Argh I could keep up with them if they want so many damn people” he muttered to himself angrily. “If only I could just fly or something…” Just then Apollo’s eyes darted open as he had an idea. Apollo made a staircase out of his shields and then over all the peoples heads made a platform for him to run on and with that the chase is back on, only this time he could start to keep up with the puppy so wouldn’t lose them again.

Apollo gave chase to the dog again as people looked up at him running over their heads.  He smiled finally gaining vision on the puppy then it took a turn into an ally.  He turned seeing it trying to dig a hole under a fence. “oh no you don’t”  he glared as he made a shield around the dog then walked over to it. “Finally caught you hope the rest aren’t as fast as you."  He panted as the dog looked up at him almost challenging him “Don’t give that look you started this”  he looked down  down tried Ryees we have to find the others.  He put the dog in a dome like shield so it could walk with it. “A hamster ball should do you justice, Ok then now where to look next hmmm” he started to wonder around aimlessly through the streets with the dog .  People stared at him which was no surprise since he was in a suit with a puppy in a make shift hamster ball but none the less continued to search.  Then he saw a crowd of people and sighed walking over.

As he walked over he looked down at Ryees who was simply rolling next to him “How much you wanna bet that’s one of your friends?” He sighed. “yip yip” he panted wagging his tail happily. “Your on” He chuckled to him self. As they got closer he looked up and sure enough a little white puppy was on the roof looking down at the people. Apollo sighed heavily “how on earth did you get yourself up there?” He looked at the building thinking of how to get it down easiest but also capture it at the same time. Apollo looked around for a moment then tried making a ramp for it to get down on. The puppy however was much too scared to even move. “of course your scared guess there is only one thing to do and that’s to come get you…” with that he made a stair case out of shields as started to walk up to the small white dog. As he walked up he made Ryees float next to him so he could maintain the shield.

As he got to the top of the building he could here people muttering things like. “oh a mage good” or “ the puppies saved” Which made him chuckle to himself since he had another puppy floating next to him in a ball. When he got to the top he looked at the frightened puppy. “hey there you must Chi” he smiled abit. The dog moved forward abit “that’s it I’m just here to get you down ok” He made a small orb just like Ryees’s “come on hope in. And just like that the puppy hoped in the orb. And gave a small whimper. Then Apollo walked down the stair case as People clapped for him “He gave a waved setting the two dogs down so they could walk on their own then went and searched for the other three puppies. He chuckled as the dogs rolled around in front of them thinking how silly they looked right now but kept and eye out for the other dogs.

As he continued walking he walked by a shop display and looked through the window seeing Zoraida.  “huh now that is convenient” He muttered to himself as he walked in sde the shop.  Inside the walls were lined with fabric and such.  “must be a taylor”  he thought to himself.  Then a little girl ran up to him.  “Hi Mister I like your puppies!”  She said excitedly.  “Um thank you I guess”  Unsure what to say since technically they weren’t actually his to begin with.  “Um is that your dog?” He asked pointing at the Puppy.  “yup that’s Sally we found her two days ago.” Apollo sighed unsure how to tel this little girl that that dog wasn’t hers and needed to take it back to it’s owners.  “Um Little girl is your mommy around?”  He asked figuring it would be better to tell her then the small child. “mhm one second.” She ran in back in a hurry as the two dogs yipped next to him an older women walked out.  “Um hello sorry about that how may I help you?”  Apollo held his hand out to return the greeting.

Um Hello I sorry to bother you but I am here to find that exact puppy…” He said rubbing his head. She gave a sigh “ I see are you it’s owner?” He sighed abit more “Um no I was just sent here to fetch the puppy.” He said smiling abit “I see ok then if it’s someone else’s puppy then looks like you have to take it.” Apollo felt really bad but gave a nod “Sorry about this and all I just you know..” She chuckled abit “Oh don’t worry about it I knew this would happen eventually Just be sure to get it to it’s home.” Apollo nods as he grabs the puppy and puts it in an orb “ Does that little girl want to say bye?” The women shakes her head “No trust me it wouldn’t end well you should just go ok” She smiled at him. Apollo nodded now walking behind three puppies. Two more to go he thought.

He wondered through the streets wondering where they could be. He made his way to the docks to search. He asked several dock workers if they have seen any of the remaining puppies but alas none of them have. He gave a groan feeling like this was getting to be hopeless, but then saw one splashing around in the water near the docks. “Ah there we are.” He said to himself and a brown puppy was swimming around. “Looks like I found Nadarr” He muttered to himself. He started to make a bridge out to the puppy when he notice a boat heading towards the puppy. Obvious that the boat couldn't see the puppy Apollo started to think quicker about how to rescue the puppy from the boat without destroying the boat in typical Fairy Tail Fashion. Just then he had an idea and turn towards the puppy and the boat.

Apollo threw a shield around the puppy in a cone shape and submerged the puppy under the boat. He sighed abit as he the boat went over then once it passed he levitated the cone shield to see Nadarr inside. “You got to be more careful in the future got it?” He scolded him like a child. A small yip was his only reply and Apollo drained the water and turned it into a ball so he could walk around like the others. “Ok then Guys you know where Yuri is by chance” He sat to rest for a moment. They all just ran around in front on him going random directions. “A lot of help you all are..” He sighed then stood up. “whelp let the hunt continue. He said as he walked away from the docks. “Hmm if I were a puppy where would I be?” He said as he walked past his guild hall. He then saw a puppy carring some meat in it’s mouth past him. A brief moment of silence passed then His eyes Shot open as the puppy ran.

“Are you freaking kidding me here?” He said as he chased her. He decided to do what he did with Ryees and run above people to move quicker. He made a ramp up and over everyone. Once again people looked up at him. He didn’t balme them for looking after all he would lok to in a man in a black suit ran around him with four puppies Floating around him. However he focused on getting the puppy. As he was about the catch it a cat went and stole the puppys meat. Which made the puppy stop and look sad. Apollo put the puppy in a ball and sighed “Hang on yuri.” He said as he put a shield aroud the cat “That wasn’t yours cat.” He said grabbing the meat and releasing the cat. It ran off then Apollo looked at Yuri”You can have this if you share with the others ok” A happy yip came rom Yuri and Apollo nodded.

He took the Puppies to the back of the guild hall and made a pen for them to play in using his Shields. He then cut the meat up and gave each Puppy a piece “good dogs.” He nodded as they all went to eat there treats. Apollo watched them run around the pen and play, So carefree, so happy. In a way he envied them that they could live how they want all the time. But then opened his pocket watch “Ok guys time to go” He said though this time they didn’t need shields they just followed him which was a nce change of pace from all the running around he did all day. AS he walked through the town He wondered why the old lady even owned these dogs they are so energetic yet you are not allowed to touch anything. He decided to ask when he got there.

As Apollo approached with the dogs the old lady was sitting on her porch. “It’s about time you got back what took you so long?” As Apollo went to speak she cut him off immediately. “You know what nevermind it doesn’t matter, all of you get in the house now.” The puppies of a very obediently and marched into the house. Then she went to follow. “Um excuse me Charlitan” he said but got cut off again. “What you want why you still here?” She snapped at him. “My payment…” She scoffed at him “yeah right whatever, here now get out of here” Apollo simply nodded and walked away. Though by all chance he decided to turn back and see the house. Into absolutely no surprise he saw the dogs jumping on the first story window and running off again. Not saying a word just gave a small smile continued walked back to the guild
