Meanwhile, Jin’s opponent realized that engaging in a fist fight while Jin’s hands and feet were bright red wasn’t a good idea. Very clever deduction and decision on his part but would be easy to keep Jin away? The brute picked up a table and flung it at Jin who jumped and rolled to avoid the gigantic projectile. As he raised his head to look at his opponent, Jin found the foe to be lifting two chairs. Seriously, this guy was strong and tough not to mention his stamina was way too impressive. This wasn’t the time to be impressed though since those two chairs were now flung at him. He ducked and avoided one of the chairs the last one, he caught in his hands. It did push him back a little but didn’t hurt since the part he held simply set on fire because of his still active spell. Jin raised the temperature of the entire chair and thus set it on fire.
He flung the burning chair at the brute who stepped aside simply letting it fly by. However, Jin wasn’t aiming to hit him by the chair. He was well aware that his opponent was too fast to get hit by the chair, instead he used that as a diversion to get close. Jin’s attempt was a success and he was now close in range. Again another fist fight began but it had little fists from the opposing side and more from Jin since he had caught the thug off guard. Slowly but surely Jin began to prevail since each one of his hits left burn marks and thus the pain began to overwhelm his opponent. Finally, his opponent couldn’t keep up and Jin continued to punch and kick. Two straight punches, one middle kick and finally finishing with a spinning round house kick. The kick knocked the opponent two feet into the air after which he landed on the floor unconscious. Jin looked over at Myra who was done with her opponent as well. The waiters were hiding but still looking at the two mages who had taken down four of those scary thugs. They were now hopeful, even the restaurant owner was peeking at them with a smile.
”I don’t think they’ll attack us anymore during the day. We should probably prepare for the night and just in case, close down the restaurant if they do attack again during the day. The restaurant can stay open in a situation like this, right?”.
