Special Characteristics: Garou is unusually tall and completely bald with large slitted eyes similar to that of a fox though sea green in color and a small scar above his left knee from a childhood accident he also has a larger scar running from the top of his neck clear through his right eye from a pirate attack.

Personality: Garou has spent most of his life aboard ships and is a competant sailor and navigator.He is a calm quiet individual who rarely takes part in conversation unless he feels he has something valuble to add and seeks to perfect everything he does.Unfortunately he has absolutely no skill with women and tends to make a fool of himself in front of them causing him to be loud and exuberant and something of a showoff while in their presence.
After years of being a sailor he is habitually keeping his hands busy always on the move and always fiddling with things.Due to his time spent aboard ships and a short time of adventuring he has a fair grasp as to his place in group combat and will insist on it to anyone trying to lead him leading many to consider him stubborn.

Other then the occasional row over exactly where he should be he follows orders and the perfectionist side of him wont let him do less then his best.Garou has very little experiance in leading others but has been trained to do so for the short time he was his father's first mate.Unlike many others in stressful situations instead of growing more and more wild he becomes intensely focused,dedicated entirely to the task.While fighting by himself he is wont to take risks that others might find very chancy at best, diving in headlong with his Cutless he takes the quickest kill possible sparing no time for brutality. After such battles he needs a small amount of time to collect himself and this sometimes makes him vulnerable. On the other hand while in a group he tends to be more reserved about his actions and actually seems to warm up to people who can hold their own along side him. People who talk a big game and don't hold up their end dont deserve his respect and he will refuse to join their party again. While fighting under the leadership of another he is quiet and professional working with the leader and group to quickly and quietly get the job done as fast as possible under the conditions.





Likes:

The Ocean:He has spent his entire life aboard one ship or another and comes from a long line of fisherfolk.

Dirty fighting:He was taught how to use a cutless very young and spends much of his time practicing or fondly remembering the stories taught with each move.

Books:Stuck aboard a ship for months at a time gets amazingly boring sometimes and books sometimes seemed his only escape.

Preparing his own food:After tasting the cooking on several ships and a couple of bouts of food poisoning he took to making his own food and found that there is a simple joy to cooking one's own food.

Stargazing:His fondest memories are of being on deck with his father learning to navigate with nothing but a sharp eye, a keen mind, and the night sky above.

Sleep:For someone who hates laziness he is inordinately protective of his time spent abed.

Dislikes:

Pirates:He has had several bad experiances with pirates culminating in the sinking of his older brothers ship.

Misuse of power:Because of several officials his family went through rather hard times for a number of years and eventually lost their business.

Lazy people:After a life of hard work and being stranded by himself for a year he cant stand to see someone waste their life away.

Alcohol: Garou is a complete lightweight and quickly become sick after drinking.

Ship food: So far he has yet to find ship food that hasn't made him violently ill and has probably been the only bad thing about his time on the ocean.

Spending crazily: His father taught him young to value even the smallest of coins because they were not the richest of families.

Motivations:

Rebuild family Business: After his return he found that his father had died and that their small business had been closed and everything had been sold to pay the families debt, he's now adventuring to support his mother and his two sisters and eventually get everything back.

Destroy all Pirates: Pirate's killed his brother in a viscous fight aboard their father's ship when he was fourteen and its haunted him ever since, He will hunt down and quickly kill any pirate he encounters.

Explore the world: Through his travels he has been to many different ports and upon occasion he has seen the odd map or two that makes him wonder about the rest of the world and what he could see of it.


Fears:

Failing my family: The very idea of not being able to feed and shelter his family both drives and motivates him onward.

Dying without avenging brother: After his brothers death he made a vow to anything that would listen that he would destroy the men who had committed such a despicable crime if it was the last thing he did.

Spiders: Strangely enough but despite his size even small spiders give him the serious willies ever since he became stuck in a chain locker with a number of spiders and was unable to escape for several hours.

Being Buried: Garou has always loved the sea and wants to be sent back to it when he dies the same as his ancestors before him.

Garou is unusually tall at six foot five with a moderate build weighing one hundred and fifty six pounds and darkly tanned skin.
He is completely bald and has foxlike sea green eyes,one of which is divided by the scar crossing from the left side of his neck clear to the top of his right eye. He wears grey waterproof sailors pants that balloon outward at the bottom and a thin brown tunic with a blue silk sash around his waist and bare feet.
