As the red aura surrounded the man, the dust angel tackled Anguis, protecting her with its massive body.
“Get off me! Gah!” The dust angel crawled off the lamia. It’s entire right arm and right torso was missing though it seemed unphased; in fact it held its remaining arm out to help Anguis up. Reluctantly, she accepted the hand and hoisted herself up.
“Oh, hell, where are they?” She looked at the large dust cloud and could see little more than silhouettes. All she could hear was “Enola.” However, the summoning of several tear-whales forced the dust out of the way and, in awe, Anguis watched as the man’s shield seemingly nullified Blair’s spell. Trying to figure out a plan, the lamia looked around but it was in vain – Enola had disappeared. Contrasting Blair’s concern for Enola, Anguis couldn’t help but laugh,
“Ha! You made Enola disappear! Hahaha! That’s the best magic trick I’ve seen all day!”She shook her head and, after quieting her laughter, pointed at the man.
“Alright, angel, let’s go in for the attack…” Anguis slithered as fast as a human would with legs, with the angel following right next to her. The man, ever vigilant, spread his arms, causing his red screen of energy to expand into a ring all around him. Anguis slammed her clawed hands into the shield, causing it to crackle. The angel, however, collided with the shield and suffered the same effects as the tear-whales: it disappeared. To top it off, the man shoved his palm toward Anguis, causing the red ring shield to form back into a single wall of red and making it fly toward Anguis. The lamia held arms in front of herself, bracing for impact as the wall collided with her and sent her flying.
The man turned his attention back toward Blair,
“One more…” He pointed his hand toward the woman and prepared for another spell. However, a small cloud of dust was shuffling beneath him. It began pulling itself together, forming a humanoid figure as if it were sentient. It quickly materialized to form none other than Enola Gay, though her skin was grey and flaky due to her spell. The maid whispered into the man’s ear,
“Boo,” before swinging her sword horizontally.
The man was evidently startled as he jumped forward to dodge the sword. He groaned with pain though – the poison and dust in his body was starting to get to him. He looked around: he was right between Blair and Enola, essentially cornered like an animal and yet he was still determined. He'd suffer all the pains of Hell just to reach his former lover.
Enola cheerfully called out,
“Don’t worry, Ms. Désir, I’m fine!” She then shot an upset glance toward Anguis. Apparently she’d heard the lamia’s laughter.
Enola GayHP: 90%
MP: 75%
WC: 467
PC: 8/15
Enemies: Ex-Boyfriend (6/10 C Rank Damage)
Spells
- Iron Dust Poison || 2/3 Post Duration:
Name: Iron Dust Poison
Rank: C
Type: Dust || Offensive
Duration: 3 Posts
Cooldown: 4 Posts
Description: Enola runs her hand over the blade of Perseguidor (default form) and attempts to cut an enemy with it. If she manages to successfully cut an enemy, small pieces of the blade will break off in the form of metallic dust and into the wound mid-cut. These small bits of metallic dust will then start making small cuts within the wound, causing intense pain, intense bleeding, and 0.5 C rank damage per turn. Note: despite the name, this spell is not actually a poison and, thus, not consumable by poison slayers.
Strengths:
- The enemy cannot heal the wound until after this spell is over.
- Causes a large amount of pain.
- Causes profuse bleeding.
Weaknesses:
- Enola must cut the opponent with Perseguidor for this spell to properly work.
- Only works against opponents with flesh.
- The metal dust can be sucked out of the wound by an iron slayer as well as a healer.
- The damage caused is not all at once.
- Dust to Dust || 1/2 C Rank Damage || 1/4 Duration:
Name: Dust to Dust
Rank: C
Type: Dust || Supportive
Duration: 4 Posts
Cooldown: 5 Posts
Description: Enola closes her eyes in a deep concentration as her body turns grey and flaky (a process that takes about a second). As long as this spell is active, Enola is able to turn her whole body into a concentrated dust cloud. When simply standing by, the cloud is roughly 1.5 meters high and 1.5 meters wide. When Dust to Dust ends, Enola will snap back into her physical form if she is still in dust form and her skin will return to normal.
Strengths:
- Whilst in cloud form, non-magical attacks will go through Enola and deal no damage; magical attacks will go through the cloud as well, but she'll still take full damage and any other effects.
- Enola can switch between her dust cloud form and physical form almost instantaneously for 2% MP
- Enola can fit into small areas whilst in cloud form.
- In cloud form, Enola moves at 30 m/s
Weaknesses:
- This spell costs 1% MP per post to maintain.
- If 2 C rank attacks go through the cloud, this spell will end prematurely.
- Enola cannot split herself while in cloud form (example: she can't send half of the cloud to one side of a room and the other half to the other side of the room).
- Enola cannot harm anyone while in dust form. She must switch back into her physical form.
- This spell cannot be used underwater.
- Enola can not bypass wind spells whilst in cloud form.
- Angel Dust || 1/5 Cooldown:
Name: Angel Dust
Rank: C
Type: Dust || Offensive/Defensive
Duration: 4 Posts
Cooldown: 5 Posts
Description: Enola holds both her hands out toward the sky as If she were holding something between them. Then, bits of dust began appearing and clumping together above her until it forms into an angel made of dust. The angel stands at 3 meters tall with two wings about 1.5 meters long each. However, the wings are merely aesthetic as the angel is capable of levitating without them. The face of the angel is blank (no eyes, nose, mouth) and its long hair is like that of a dust bunny. Its body is wrapped in a gown also made of dust. All attacks made by the angel deal 1 C rank damage. The base speed of the angel is 15 m/s.
Strengths:
- Can levitate up to thirty meters high.
- Can throw large objects at opponents.
- Can carry Enola or her allies.
Weaknesses:
- Will dissipate into dust after receiving a total of 2 C rank damage.
- The angel can only perform physical attacks.
- The angel, being non-sentient, must be within thirty meters of Enola to function.
- Moves at half when submerged in water.

- Hypnotic Gaze || 2/3 Cooldown:
Name: Hypnotic Gaze
Rank: C
Description: Once Anguis makes eye contact with a male creature she can put it in a trance so long as it is C-rank or lower, but if the male making eye contact is B-rank or higher, it only causes him to become really light-headed, making it so quick actions with his head can cause nausa and/or headaches. The main purpose of this ability is to either allow for a clean hit or for a successful escape.
Strengths:
- Can put C-rank and lower male enemies in a trance
- Allows for both Anguis and Enola to get in an attack on a helpless or dizzy enemy.
- Can allow for a successful escape.
Weaknesses:
- Doesn't work on women
- B-rank and higher males aren't put in a trance but feel really light-headed.

- Slows enemy movement.
- Causes the enemy to suffer from an intense burning sensation.
