Today marked Kiya's first official day as a part of the Sabertooth guild. This whole 'guild' business was still completely new to her and it would probably take some time to grasp the ins and outs of it, but that wouldn't stop her from working hard and using what she did know; guilds did jobs for people, earning money and getting valuable experience and knowledge of Fiore in the process. This was enough of an incentive for the young girl to start perusing the guild's job board in search of an interesting - and not too difficult - job that she could take on alone. Nice as the members had been thus far, she didn't want to push her luck and ask them to take her out on a job. She also doubted that Marick had ever asked for help on a job and he turned out alright, which made her determined to follow those footsteps. Who knew, maybe she could return to Pergrande one day and repay her father for getting her out of there? For now though she had to settle for the little things. The trouble was, which job should she do?

Seria, the little blonde haired oddity of a child timidly observed Kiya as she made her way to the job board seemingly deep in thought. She couldn't help but notice how the both of them look fairly similar, of course that's what she was thinking before she glanced down at her metal arm and simultaneously remembered her crimson eyes and discarded the thought of similarity entirely. Taking a deep breath she reassured herself, that everything would be fine. Stepping up behind her, she found that she was already blushing, but willed herself forward tapping Kiya on the shoulder. She wanted to say something but her mind was racing, and out of panic she pointed to a random job on the board.

As always Frederick was nothing more then a sore loser, not that he would constantly whine about it to others. But it always would haunt him, pester him in his mind. Often resulting in him acting less positively towards those that would put him in his place, or anyone associated to them. And be that as it may, Kiya who unknowingly to Frederick is the daughter of Marick Lowell, was one of those people associated with such an event. And would be the recipient of Frederick's petty attitude. And not only her, the young girl who joined her and seemed to flustered to speak would be pulled in too.
'So the cur has finally decided to pull her weight around here huh?'
Just several meters away from the job board, sitting at a table, was Frederick. His hood up as always while the rest of his cloak fell down covering most of his body. And judging by the tone of his voice he wasn't sitting there to talk pleasantries.
'Why don't you girls do yourself a favor, and just go find some lost cat or something. It's not that you two could do any real magic to pull of an actual job.'

Kiya was no closer to deciding on a job to do when she felt a light tap on her shoulder. Her head turned to face the direction from which the touch came from, her blonde ponytail floating around and laying on her other shoulder briefly. The person who'd poked her was also a blonde-haired girl who seemed to be a little younger than she was, with one arm that seemed to be completely steel-clad, as if it were made entirely of metal itself. She barely had time to take in the appearance of this mysterious girl when she was suddenly following the girl's skin-arm up back to the job board. It seemed this girl wanted to go on a job too and, Kiya guessed, it seemed that she wanted Kiya to go with her.
She took the job poster from off the board and began to read over it before a cold and unfortunately familiar voice broke the moment. Kiya immediately turned and met the voice with a cold glare. This time however the God Slayer remained silent. She simply rolled the poster up and placed it into her pocket before turning to face Seria. "I'd love to do the job with you." she spoke softly, a smile stretching across her face. There was no use in burning up over this man. No, she'd just do what she felt was the right thing to do and get on with things. One day though...

Disgusted with how this man thought treating a couple of girls with such a manner was in at all acceptable Seria moved to face him and placed herself between Kiya and the stranger. At first she stared at Frederick with complete determination and seriousness, until she slowly began to understand the position she had placed herself in. Looking at him she noticed just how insignificant her and Kiya's magical aura seemed in comparison and she shrank down a little and the face that was once read as "I'll throttle you!" turned into something more like "Please don't hurt me." She was frozen as Kiya piped up entirely ignoring the man and walking away with a smile. Seria simply turned and followed her with her eyes focused on the floor in front of her.

"Leave her alone Fred, don't you have some brooding to be doing somewhere else?" the man said as appeared out of no where. Frederik was at it again, being the sore loser that he was, he decided that it was a good idea to harass the newer members of the guild. "Don't worry girls, he won't hurt you. He won't hurt anyone anymore so long as they don't deserve it. He's just being impolite and intimidating, as strong as he is. Hell there's probably enough magical power between the two of us to stage a coup. Not that we would of course" Zenshin continued, chuckling a little at his own joke. A coup may be fun if the Magic Council ever becomes too corrupt. I'm sure Fred wouldn't decline the chance to forcibly remove people from an establishment he thought quickly before continuing. "I don't think we've met yet. I'm Zenshin" he told the girl before looking towards the job board.

Frederick didn't even bother to stand up and actually give the intimidate the girl completely. He just sat there while her attempt to face him quickly turned into the realization of the sheer power he possessed, and the gap it created between her and him.
But before he could resort to any further foul comments on the girls and their abilities, a familiar face dropped by.
It was Zenshin, one of the former guild masters of Sabertooth, and his personal nail on Fredericks coffin. Or at least that was how he saw the man. Zenshin did however suggested in a polite, yet firm enough matter. That Frederick better take his business elsewhere, or just shut up. Taking away any ill intent he possibly could have.
Knowing that, Frederick turned around where he sat and continued with his drink. Planning on ignoring them for the rest of the day.
