Archaeological Excavation!

Job Requirements: You have to be at least a D rank mage. Find the remains of the ancient creature and bring them to the professor.
Job Location: Forgotten Desert.
Job Description: An archaeological professor has stumbled on a dig site in the Forgotten Desert. Somewhere burried in the sand are the remains of an ancient creature. The professor asked for capable mages who can help him excavate the creature.
Reward: 750 Jewels each.

Forgotten Dessert was probably the hottest place in Fiore, or at least one of them. Sogeki was getting use to the extreme climates. His guild, Basilisk Fang, was in one f the coldest mountains, mount Hakobe. So, after being in the coldest place he had sometime been, he was now in the hottest. He preferred the dessert though, he was a mage who actually preferred hot climates, so it really wasn't a problem. Since Sogeki anyway only used some bandages around him, hot weathers where something easy to handle. He was also use to them, he was raised in hot climates, and now he moved to a cold one.

Anyway, Sogeki walked through the dessert with the huge sun above him. Marik, a strong mage from Basilisk Fang was with him on this mission. It was going to be a huge help, he really didn't want to do this mission on his own. It was... boring for him. He had to look for some sort of monster, buried in the sand. "Marik... where are we suppose to find this monster?" He said with his strong and low voice. He didn't walk much more, he wasn't in the mood.

Sogeki let a sigh out. "Wait... you are saying we have to move that rock over there and start in that same place..." Sogeki didn't know why did they have to look in the first big boulder they found, but Marik was the one with the experience, he had to trust in him. "Oh well... I'll break that rock..." He said. He didn't really need magic at all in this case. It was just a boulder, he was strong enough to break it with his fist in one punch maybe. "Just give me a second." He pointed the rock with his fist. Sogeki jumped and then landed a huge punch as hard as he could. The rock moved and cracked at first. It was harder than Sogeki expected, but only one more punch would end it. He then gave another punch with his other hand, the right one. And after increasing the crack and expanding it through all the rock, the boulder collapsed to the ground.

"How did I know it wasn't the creature?" Sogeki laughed. "Easy, if it didn't break, it was the creature..." He said. Sogeki then sat on the sand as he saw Marik do what he had to with his magic. He was quite bored, but a job wasn't necessarily something you would be having fun anyway. When Marik finished his excavation with his giant arm, Sogeki got up and stood in both feet. "Nothing... am I right?" Sogeki then followed Marik, but never getting in his way while he excavated. "Do we even have a clue about how is this creature... monster or whatever it's called? Or even a clue of the place? I mean, this dessert is giant, haven't you thought about that?" He said and then sat again. "Why would we even take this job? I want to fight...why don't we go somewhere else and just take some money to live... it's easier." He was lazy. All he wanted was Marik to find the creature.

Sogeki laughed as he saw Marik. "First of all, you aren't much more strong than I am... Second, I am completely sure we are indeed able to fight already." He said and stood up. "And by the way... I'm not much of a good digger... I thought you'd know that." He then walked a bit away and laid on the ground. He was lazy, tiered and thirsty. He just wanted to finish, but he had no ability to be able to dig around, or that's what he thought.

After laying on the ground for a few minutes, he thought about something, he was able to dig or something like that. He got up and spoke loud enough for Marik to hear him. "I got an Idea..." He said and then turned into an old man with a bottle in his hand. One wouldn't think the bottle would be there always he turned into Sosha, but the bottle kinda fused with his dead hand. "This is gotta be the way..." He said and then fell to the ground. "I need sake!"

Sogeki laughed. "Actually, I need no sake... but when I turn into Sosha, It becomes my drug..." He said and then got up again. "Anyway...I have a great idea to look for this monster. But I don't have much time in this form, so I'll get started." Sosha had high speed magic. It wasn't that awesome when you just think about the running part, but that was exactly what Sogeki needed now. "Look at this..." He started to run around and a very high speed. His quick maneuvers caused lots of wind to blow around, creating a huge sand tornado. "This is what I mean about and Idea." The sand on the ground quickly flew through the sky leaving creating a hole, but that wasn't enough. Sogeki kept running lifting all the sand and closing his eyes. He didn't want sand to get in it, so he couldn't see a thing, but after a few seconds, his foot crashed against something and caused him to trip. He rolled about 20 meters before stopping, but he had tripped with the creature itself.
