To Earthland... And Beyond!!! (Elyx and Okura)

The gardens were so beautiful around the users. It was a nice sight, the lights bright amongst all the green leaves, the lights glowing, if Elyx didn't know any better it would be Christmas in the middle of July. Even if it wasn't July, it was still nice. There was something he needed though, and he was too poor to get it at the current moment, so when he heard about the passport being given out, he knew he had to take the chance. This was such a beautiful garden, yet all Elyx could focus on was eating his chocolate bar. It turns out he wasn't the only one who needed a passport, an even newer member of the Black Rose needed his as well. So he was told to travel with that man. Something about it being a good experience and a chance to meet new people.

So apparently when we find it, it should be crowded. Elyx said as he put his chocolate bar down so he could speak. The Gardens slowly began to increase in volume as the two guild members continued to walk forward. The people probably, it didn''t sound like a pack of wolves. Even if it was, it's not like all wolves are bad. It just so happens that their guild member is a wolf, or part wolf. Elyx never understood it though, so he didn't want to care. He felt excited for his passport, so why bother waste time for it?

Then he realized that is wouldn't be possible to waste time, it's rather hard to believe ANY tme could be wasted thinking with this line. There was a docks at the end of the graden, a giant line of people standing in the area in which people are obtaining their own passports. Some screaming at each other for positions in line, some waiting obediently waiting, but all of them are in the way. No.... Way... Elyx said with his voice disappointed. He was somehow disappointed, even though he expected this, he wanted that passport so much.

Along with his companion from his newly joined guild, Jin was headed to attain a passport. This was his first ever job and frankly he was too excited. ”How long could the line possibly be? We’ll get a passport for free, what’s more good than that?” He too had no money, so getting a passport for free was the best thing ever to happen to him. Well, he was being a bit too optimistic because he hadn’t seen the line yet. ”Yes, it will be a long line but we’ll get by somehow” he replied despite hearing the sound of a lot of people.

Only after when he was in visible range of the line did he stop as his friend voiced what he was thinking too. Indeed, no way, how were they supposed to get a passport through such a long line? People seemed frustrated and agitated after waiting for a long time in that line and these two had just arrived. ”I sure hope you’ve brought a boat load of chocolate for this one Elyx” said the guy with the sweet tooth. If they were going to get that passport while waiting in this line, they would probably have to spend the day and the night waiting in this line.

Jin walked to the person that was waiting at the end of the line, ”Excuse me sir” he said with a smile and with a tone of respect. ”I won’t give up my spot! I’m telling you, you can’t take it from me. Nope, no way, I won’t move an inch, no!” replied the older gentleman, probably in his nineties. Why would such an old guy need the passport anyways? Jin stepped back a little, overwhelmed by how this person had replied to him. His expressions turned to a defeated individual and helplessly he turned his face and looked at his fellow guild member.

It seems Respect your elders is something that is a pain for anyone to take, it's not too hard to curse thing man out. But for Elyx it is, he never really figured that violent words could get him around these situations. Many people could try to be sneaky and find their way around, or maybe be stupid and actually threaten and hit their way to the front. On a technicality, Elyx could do the same thing with his next idea. His smile brightened and lifted even higher up than it normally did. There was possibly a way to get arund them without using violence, and it was a lot better than bribing anyone with chocolate. It was his music, good thing he had a partner to help him execute this plan. Maybe the leader was right about bringing a member of the guild with him.

Elyx pulled out a chocolate bar from his knapsack and handed it to Okura before he put his own hand forward. His Violin materialized in his left hand, there was more than Violence when it comes to getting what you want. This strategy is called, distraction. He made sure to speak quietly to his partner, making sure no one else hears him. Hey... while everyone is looking away, skip a few spaces for us or possibly get far enough to get to the passports. Elyx whispered before he ran with a huge grin on his face. It felt great to be so sneaky with gaining whatever he wanted. He felt like a child once again, well, while he was a playful child.

He swung his right arm to the left to materialize in his right hand. He turned around to face the line, this was going to get some attention, but in a good way. He placed his bow onto the Violin and swung his right arm. This song was Senbonzakura, Violin Cover by Lindsey Stirling. Hopefully enough heads would turn to give Okura a chance to skip people.

Jin was never one to deceive people but he was also someone who could ever say no to others. His partner in crime graciously gave him a chocolate which he began to chomp on the moment he attained it. He was also paying attention to Elyx when he was told to get away from him and get as closer to the source of the passports. In truth, he didn’t want to cut in line but he couldn’t say no to Elyx either. When weighing both of his character traits, one overwhelmed the other. As a result, Jin complied with his guild member’s instructions and while Elyx began to move. He too moved but in an opposite direction. Of course at first when there was no music, people began to eye ball him and became suspicious of him.

Right then when someone was about to stop him to inquire where he was headed, the mesmerizing sound of violin began to echo. Everyone, even those who were agitated and fighting among one another turned to face the source of this sound. While they did that, Jin made his way to the source of the passports and got closer and closer. With each movement of Elyx’s arm, Jin moved faster and almost running but doing best to keep his sound to the minimum.

People don’t have that much of an attention span, so despite the continuation of the wonderful performance they began to return. Noticing this change, Jin quickly found a spot in the line and took it. He had covered quite a bit of distance because of the distraction created by his fellow guild member. He turned to see Elyx, thinking what were they supposed to do next?

The final few strings swung with intensity, then the final note held out with a sweet Vibrato, ringing echoes throughout the crowd. It was an intense piece, and a great piece of entertainment for himself. The best part was, his magic didn't even go out of control, and that made him play naturally well and even feel happier with himself. Even if their plan didn't work, he still had a bit of fun doing this. The crowd was clapping to the beat, acting as a meternome for him to work with and play with even more accuracy when it came to playing the Violin. This was so much fun and everyone was enjoying it. However, all good things eventually have to come to an end, and this was the end of the piece.

When he walked back, the crowd was trying to get him to play again, which lead up to a newer problem. How was he going to get his passport if he couldn't get in the line? Please, please, please play more for us!You aren't too bad with that Violin kid, why don't you play us another song?Is the fun time over?Daddy! Make that guy play another song for me! Kid, I'll pay you any amount of jewels for you to play for us even more.

The crowd was really bored it seems, so desperately bored, and Elyx brought them out of that boredom. It felt wrong to turn them down the way he was about to, but he wanted his passport very badly. I am sorry, but my friend and I really need to get a passport, and we won't be able to get our passports if we don't continue on. Elyx said as he almost got into the line, but then a little girl made suggestion that silence everyone. It was so perfect, things turned out way better than Elyx's plan EVER could. How about we let him and his friend get their passports now, and the boy can continue playing?

The crowd welcomed the idea by murmuring in agreement. Elyx walked up to the girl as the crowd cheered for him and the girl. From his knapsack, he pulled out a chocolate bar, and the adult let her go to get to Elyx. He knelt onto one knee and ruffled the girls hair a little bit. She was so adorable, her eyes shined so well, it was so hard to say no to her. And Elyx wasn't going to say no. He then handed the girl a chocolate bar from his right palm and looked back at the girl once again. May you have a bright future. Elyx said to the girl before standing up once again. Okura, We have some passports to get and some people to entertain!

Okura was worried about the entire plan because he couldn’t understand how he would be able to attain the passports. Sure, Elyx was playing one splendid piece but that wasn’t giving him enough room to skip more people and finally his piece came to an end. ”What’re we going to do now?” he questioned himself, desperately thinking of some other plan. Their plan hadn’t quite worked but then people began to cheer Elyx up and route for him for another encore. The situation turned quickly and soon they found a way to acquire their passports.

Upon receiving new instructions, he appeared from within the line, some people noticed that this guy was with him and yet so far ahead in the line. He kept his head bowed and with a smile approached the desk. After talking to the official for a little while, answering questions about himself and Elyx he managed to acquire the prize that everyone was here for. ”We’ve got what we came for, time to give them what they asked” said Okura in a loud voice as he turned to face Elyx and raised the passports in his hands showing them to him.

Elyx walked to the front of the line without even having t say "Excuse me", everyone moved out of the way for him, eager to free themselves of their boredom and have more music at the nearest possible moment for it to arrive. Okura didn't seem to have that much luck with getting through, but nobody was fighting him on his way up, so that was a huge plaus right there for the two of them. To get passports so quickly and easily in such a long line. In a way, this waas sneaky, but it was actually fine. Everyone is happy in the end, no one is upset, their goals are fulfilled, and he even was able to play the Violin for everyone once again.

The passport was so small in his hand, but Elyx will cherish it like a child, his Violin, and his chocolate combined, this was the ticket to get him to many different places without being fought by security. When Okura addressed him about giving the people what they wanted, he nodded his head and looked back to the people. His Violin was still at hand, and the people were going to hear his music until he runs out of energy. This was a habit that just so happened to give him and his partner some benefits in life. No one had to be fought to get the passports and they got it very quickly. It was a happy moment, and a very successful trip as well.

This is Artemis Rising! Elyx exclaimed to the crowd as they then cheered for him. When he hit the bow on the Violin, the pitch echoed throughout the forest. The next few hours can be filled with as many pieces as he can play. This moment and the sound... neither of it could sound any better.

He was told that in order to move around the world to accomplish jobs, the passports were an essential item. If he didn’t have those, the security won’t let him move around and then he wouldn’t be able to do jobs. If he wasn’t able to do jobs, that meant that as a mage he wouldn’t be able to help people. One of his motivations was to help those who couldn’t help themselves. This tiny collection of papers was his ticket to what he wanted to achieve. This was the first step and apparently it was too difficult but because of his musician friend, it became way too easy. Now he stood among the crowd and cheered along with them, enjoying the music and the satisfaction of a job well done.
