So this was it...the home of Black Rose, the crime syndicate turned bounty hunter's guild. Truth be told it was certainly not what Vesper had been expecting. In honesty though, Vesper wasn't really sure what they'd expected anyway, but it certainly wasn't the equivalent of a large wooden shack that balanced precariously over a river. Still, with how far out the guild was from most other parts of Fiore it wasn't like they were about to get noticed anytime soon. Then of course there was that golden rule of not judging a book by its cover. Such a mistake was the reason that Vesper was here in the first place; Redemption, to make up for an error in judgement. To hunt what had once been the hunter. It was high time the tables were turned and, with that thought in mind, Vesper raised their right hand and pushed the door open as cautiously and as quietly as possible.
Vesper had to prevent the urge to gasp in awe at the inner sanctum of the guildhall; while the face left much to be desired, the heart was simply stunning to the black-robed mage. The one visible eye darted about the hall with a keen interest, taking in every detail and every crevice of the room and absorbing the information like a sponge. The magical energy coming from nearby was enough to snap Vesper back to the moment, with them now glancing around for a sign of the leader of this fine establishment.
With any luck, no-one would bat an eyelid at their entry and the silent mage could get about their business in peace.
