Re: Be A Model | Job | Solo
I N F O ! | I had to give up a lot of things but what I will get in exchange for what I have lost depends on only me. -Zoe ‘I’m not sure if I’ll like this job or not.’ The light-blonde haired female mused to herself as she walked towards the area of East Forest with the highest rate of commotion that she could hear it from miles away. The sun dazzled brightly on top of them however, the trees and atmosphere around her added a moisture feeling to the weather not making it as hot as it should be. And that was at least, a good thing. Now what this certain blond-haired mage was confounded by was the job. It was merely out of boredom that she picked a random job from the request board in the guild hall of Sabertooth. However, once she actually exited and caught a look at what this certain job was about, she started to rethink her decision. Modelling; that was what the job was. And Zoe was not sure whether she would enjoy it or not; from what she had heard, modelling was pretty tough and exhausting and the laziness was strong in this one. However, this modelling was for Sorcerer’s Weekly; the most famous magazine in all of Fiore and only the best were featured on that. And who knew? Perhaps, it might turn out to be fun. ‘No harm in giving it a try.’ She mused, positivity lacing her voice. Finally, amid all the walking, she reached the area that the shooting was being held at and was not surprised at what she saw. Lights flashing from all directions; some from cameras and some from those big lights that are needed while taking photos. All around, there were models dolled up and the blonde had to admit, they looked very striking. From all what she saw in front of her, this modelling this didn’t seem to be so hard. ‘Are you the mage who took the request I sent out?’ A voice made its way to her ear causing the Sabertooth mage to glance at the side to notice a man walking towards her. And if memory served right, this man was Chanelle; a famous designer in Fiore and the one who sent out this request. ‘Yes, I am. Though, how did you know?’ As soon as he had asked her if she was the mage, this was the first question that had entered her mind; she hadn’t even informed anyone she would be coming – typical of her, though. So, it confounded her as to how he knew. ‘Well, if you were someone from here, you wouldn’t be wearing those hideous clothes.’ He commented, a displeasing look in his eyes. Zoe had to admit, this had taken her aback a little as she did not expect him to insult her clothing; she liked what she wore. And not to mention, it was outright rude for him to do so. Scrunching her eyes into slits whilst a sour look framed her visage, aimed directly towards Chanelle, she was about to inform him of her decision to leave as now, she had clearly changed her mind by witnessing the rude statement that he threw at her. However, before she could, a few people caught her by the arms and started escorting – or more like dragging – her to one of the trailers that they had. ‘Eh? Where are you taking me?’ The female questioned, confusion laced in her voice. ‘You have hideous clothing but your face is pretty cute and your body structure is also good so I decided that despite your horrible taste in clothes, you can model. I’m sure that’s what every girl wants.’ Okay, now, he was just angering the girl by continuously mocking her style. It wasn’t as though his bling and gold that he wore was any better however, before she could throw an insult at the conceited man, she was shoved in the trailer with a lady standing there, looking completely fired up to do her makeup and doll her up. ‘This was a bad decision; a very bad decision.’ After an hour of continuously fidgeting and the makeup woman glaring at her and telling her to stop moving, Zoe was finally dressed up for the photo shoot. Though, what she saw in the mirror was not something she liked. Of course, she had to admire the makeup; it appeared quite natural and good on her skin however, the dress was what she minded. First of all, it was made entirely of leaves on the premises of being ‘eco-friendly’ and second of all, it was too revealing covering only well, the parts that needed to be covered completely exposing her stomach, legs and arms. ‘Well, this is embarrassing.’ The girl muttered as her face was tinted with a very dark shade of red. ‘Nonsense. It looks marvelous! Completely shows your feminine features as well~’ The make-up artist said, giggling after her statement. Zoe internally groaned, wishing that she had never come however, at this moment, it appeared as though she hardly had a say in anything that was happening to her. A feeling of wanting to strangle someone overcame her but she urged that feeling. The make-up artist dragged her out of the trailer and towards the area of the photo shoot. ‘Does everybody like dragging people over here? Sheesh.’ Siting at the rock, next to the river that the cameraman had motioned her towards whilst Chanelle stood there, scrutinizing every move that she did, the female internally sighed however, did as told. CLICK! CLICK! CLICK! The continuous clicking of the camera followed every pose that she did, following the cameraman’s instructions and doing as she was being told. This was the best way to get this over with quickly and right now, all Zoe wanted was to return to the Sabertooth guild hall and sleep. She hadn’t felt this tired even while she attempted missions; and this was a lesson to never do modelling. Ever. After about an hour of pictures with different poses and different places to take the pictures at, it was finally done and Zoe had finally returned to her comfortable clothing that she adored. Stepping out of the trailer, suppressing a yawn, she was quite surprised to see Chanelle standing outside. ‘Well, I have to say, for a first try, you did pretty well, girly. Maybe you should consider modelling; neat job and pays a lot.’ Blinking a few times as the realization of what he said settled in, Zoe was quite surprised at the fact that he actually complimented her. That was an achievement in itself. And as for his offer, the blonde already knew what her answer would be. ‘Thank you for the offer but no, I’m good with being a wizard and fighting rather than modelling. It’s not my forte and neither do I want to be a model no matter how much….um, fun I had.’ She spoke, unsure of that last part because ‘fun’ was the last thing she had. ‘Hmm, whatever. Your loss.’ He muttered before sauntering off making Zoe chuckle. Making her way out of the East Forest, the girl was completely ready to head off to bed as tiredness settled in making her rub her eyes. Chuckling to herself, she thought about the day and commented to herself in an amusing tone. ‘Got to admit, today was pretty intriguing.’ |
