Riley stood there staring at the job flyer in her hand.  She read through it over and over again. She slowly began walking towards the east forest of Magnolia. “It’s only modeling, I can do it.” The words rolled off her lips. She took a short pause. “Hopefully.” Riley just hoped that she would be able to do this job. Although she didn’t have a model like body, she didn’t look that bad. She continued walking, as she chanted to herself these specific words “ I can do it.” Modelling wasn’t really her thing but it doesn’t hurt to try.

For some reason she always has this habit of over thinking before she starts a job. She herself knows that she has to get rid of that habit. She calmed herself down before cracking some stupid jokes inside her mind, to which she laughed, earning weird looks from people around. Her lips were tugged into a smile as she made her way to the forest.

After a long walk, she was finally able to make it to the forest. When she reached the location specified on the flyer, she was greeted with the setup of the shoot.  Riley stood there taking in every detail of the shoot. She saw the camera placed in different directions, with the crew organizing everything. “Ah, so like the setup, I assume.” Riley was sort of surprised when the voice suddenly reached her ears. She turned around to see a man, wearing a suit, looking at her. He looked like he was in his mid twenties. The female mage smiled at him.

“Yes, it’s beautiful.” The man’s smile widened. “Well, I’m glad you like it. I’m Mr. Alphonses, the owner to Sorcerer Weekly.” He moved his hand forward for a shake. Riley firmly gripped the man’s hand and said with a smile. “I’m Riley. I here for the job request you sent.” He looked her over. “Well, You’re not exactly model material.” He scanned her carefully. The black haired girl’s ego just fell off a cliff. “But you have a cute face. You’ll earn us quite some money.” He looked to the side before yelling someone’s name. “Leeanne, come here.” A girl, who Riley assumed was Leeanne, came jogging at his call. “Yes, sir.”

The man gestured at Riley “Please escort this young lady to the changing room. “ Leeanne simply nodded and asked the mage to follow her. Riley obliged. They walked into a caravan that stood there, at the back of the set. Leenanne stood outside. “There is a dress kept inside. Please wear it and come out for the shoot. Our designer will be helping you get ready.” Riley nodded and stepped into the caravan to be greeted by a beautiful dress hung in front of her. She walked over to it and scanned it carefully. She took the dress and quickly changed into it.

She looked over herself in the mirror. The dress was a beautiful knee-length dress, shaded blue, with white cloth, covering the front. Covering her face was light make up, showcasing her natural beauty. She stepped out of the caravan and walked in front of the camera, her heels clicking with every step. She earned some mesmerized looks by the crew members. This increased her confidence. As she stepped in front of Mr. Alphonses, he scanned her before shaking his head. “I think we should go for a different approach this time. Leeanne, get the new outfit.” Leanne returned with a dress, which resembled a school uniform. The skirt was beige and checked, with a full sleeves white button down.

Riley groaned before changing into that. She didn’t look that bad. Throughout the rest of the shoot, she posed as the cameraman asked her to. Soon, the shoot was over and walking towards her was no on other than the manager himself. “The shoot was amazing. Thank you so much for your help.” Riley simply smiled and replied. “It’s no problem. Well, I should get going.” After collecting her reward, she darted back home.

The first thing Riley did the next day was run to the store where the magazines were being sold. She was slightly nervous for some unknown reason. She reached the store and saw the magazines placed on the rack, with her photograph, in a school uniform, printed on the cover page. She was delighted to see that many people were reading that magazine. Her breath calmed down as she lightly whacked her head. “Well, that went well.” She then left the store and went to look for something exciting to do.
