Train the Recruits (Job)

Alex and Blake are walking towards Era for their job, they wonder what it would be like teaching Rune Knights about the different types of magics and all about the magics as well. They both go over what they're going to say to the knights and what demonstrations they're going to show them too. Once they arrive at Era they are greeted by a higher class knight and they are guided to the lower class knights in a training field while they stood still in a neat line. Alex and Blake stand there in front of roughly 80 or 90 knights while the higher class knights sat down near by and watch closely at what is happening and how they are going to teach the knights. Alex and Blake look at each other and they both know the task isn't going to be easy.. But they're both up for it anyways.

It's not that Blake didn't want to do it. He just didn't feel comfortable having 2 higher rank knights sitting there watching how they handled the situation. Blake walked up to the lower ranks and held out his hands in front of him creating a small ball of white light. "Magic, an energy created when your mind and body work together." "Your mind tells your body to focus the energy and bring it out in the form of magic." Blake performed this action. The higher ranks sat down taking notes and sipping their drinks. Some of the lower ranks looked at Blake like he was an alien while some of them began to try it. "I assume it works the same way for your spears and shields, you can focus the magic energy into the item to make it more equipped to fight people like us." The Rune Knights struggled to perform the technique but then became really tired all of a sudden. "Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, you also have a magic energy supply that you draw your magic power from. At your level, it will drain very quickly even with something as simple as forming a ball of magic. Make sure you don't overexert yourselves because loss of magical energy could cause death."

As Blake was talking to the rune knights, Alex was sitting down very nervously due to the higher class rune knights looking and examining every square inch of Alex. While this was happening Alex was just looking down at the floor while twiddling his thumbs. Out of no where Blake said something about Alex showing some moves of his magic, so while Alex was in a nervous state Blake suddenly called his name. Alex looked up in surprise as all the rune knights looked at him as well. Alex then stood up and walked to the middle of the training field. Alex decided to use two spells, he first used a defensive spell. Out of no where a spine grew right behind Alex, after it grew about 6 feet out it sprouted 4 ribs on each side of the spine. Then he used bone sword, a bone sword appeared in front of Alex as he picked it up and showed some sword techniques. Every knight then clapped, even the higher class knights, Alex stepped back and felt proud about his actions and let Blake continue to talk.

Blake noticed that the rune knights were getting even more tired from trying to power up their spears and shields. He noticed they were unfocused so he decided to intervene again to give them even more helpful advice. "Okay guys, in order to create and channel the magic, you have to focus." "Try picking a certain element, whether it be lightning, fire, earth, wind, water, etc. You have to focus on something specific, then you'll get it." Blake stood back again and continued to watch as some of them were getting it pretty fast. He saw spears, swords, shields all light up with different magic abilities, Fire, Lightning, Water and all other kinds too. Blake took a while to really watch and admire his work with the newbies and the higher ranks seemed to be enjoying it too. "They're all doing great, they'll be great rune knights one day." Blake said to himself while smiling.

Alex saw how Blake trained the rune knights to channel their magical energy so he thought," Hmmm.. There's only one thing left to do." Alex walked up to the middle of a arena and shouted," Here's your final training! All of you.. TAKE ME ON!" At the same time all of the rune knights ran at Alex as the higher ranked knights were inspecting in amazement. Alex made a bone cage and broke it sending tons of knights flying. He dashed in hand to hand combat taking out the knights left and right. Alex then did a triple back flip and while in mid air used a spell that sunk the ground and swirled around the rune knights and spit them back out. They were all laying on the ground.. Then one got up, then another, then another, then all of them were up. They then used team work to take down the magical wizard. Alex was in a cloud of dust, he stood up, dusted off, and walked away with Blake.
