Appearance: Monokuroen is an enormous demon with looks that follow the characteristics of a Dragon: having a massive body, a pair of wings that allow him to fly, four limbs with claws, and a tail. However, unlike a dragon or most known demons, Monokuroen's body is not covered with scales, skin, bone, but it seems to be entirely made of monochrome flames, giving him an overall impression of a burning skeleton.

Roya Nakano is contracted to the demon Monokuro. Roya was not born a mage but wanting nothing more than power. She managed to make contact and summon Kuros presence into the human world for the sake of there contract. He promised her his massive magical power, for a fair price of course. Roya sacrificed her right arm, her mother, Madeline's, life and promised him her soul for his flames.

… Roya had always thought of her mom as some self centered crabby, bitchy, old hag who couldnt even console her own kid. Roya was just to bitter to understandh Madeline, lt alone see how hard working of a parent she was. Instead, Roya sent Madeline to hell for the sake of benefiting herself, she doesn't regret the decision to this day....
Roya misunderstood her mother greatly. Madeline had always wanted to console her child. She had even planned to divorce Daichi to save her and her daughter both from his abusing ways.. but she was always to afraid to actually do it... She was to afraid to stand up for Roya when Daichi would harm her, let alone console her... Daichi would always physically stop her or cause her harm.

It is not an overstatement to call Roya's father the root of her psychological issues. Before his and Madelines marriage... everything seemed like it would end up fine between Daichi and his wife. But... he changed gradually as time went on. He had always wanted a son who would follow in his footsteps... The father was disappointing when he found out that he had ended up with a girl instead.
Things took a turn for the worse. Daichi, who Madeline still loved very much, had turned to domestic abuse. As time went on he had convinced himself that taking out his anger with work, friends, and everything else on his family was okay. Eventually, he managed to incorporate child abuse into the mess too. Then came the sexual abuse. however, his spree came to a end when he came home to find the place burned to the ground, Roya and Madeline gone.
