The Musician Magician vs The Ice Slayer (Elyx Reiaki vs Riley Nightwalker)

Elyx looked up, seeing one person he wanted to duel for quote a while. He most certainly heard rumors about her, and he wanted to test her strength himself. Two different guilds, but they weren't enemies. That doesn't mean he didn't want to duel, this was going to be an awesome duel if it actually happened. There wouldn't be much on the line in this duel, its not like losing would be an embarrassing loss. Many people talk, Riley. This was her it seemed, except she was like an upgraded version of Myra with black hair. He put his Violin up and looked at who was going to be his opponent. The Violin was his weapon, and it was the only weapon he needed to battle against Riley. He has his Lerale eye to protect him from anything too devastating. His spells were no joke either, he had plenty to rely on in this duel.

I've heard much about you. Elyx said as he put his Violin bow on the string. He wanted to prepare himself before anything could happen.I know this is rather sudden, but I have a favor to ask you. I want to duel you, just to see how strong you are, and possibly how strong I am as well. Consider it a test, at least for my strength. What do you say?

Riley stared at Theo who seemed to be enjoying himself running around and playing with other fellow  pets, belonging to the members of her guild.Unfortunately, she was not as happy as him, she was rather bored. "I had a duel today, it was a lot of fun, my opponent was from another guild." The black haired girl's ears perked up. "A duel?" A grin slowly made it's way onto her lips. She jumped up from her place and whistled, attracting the attention of her pet arctic wolf. "Boy, we're going to go have a duel." Theo seemed just as excited as herself as they set out for the arena.

It didn't take the two a long time to reach there. Out of excitement, Riley rushed inside and came face to face with a brown haired boy, no more than her age. He seemed to know her and wanted a duel. Riley grinned at him before giving him a thumbs up, "Sure thing." Her purple gaze shifted to Theo who understood their eye contact and went to the side. She stood in front of him, "No hard feelings, okay? It's just a friendly match." She offered her and for him to shake. "Oh, and i don't really know you.." After his introduction, she them distanced herself from him. Light blue aura could be seen around her hand as she got prepared for battle, "Let's get this started."

He accepted the handshake and looked up with a smile on his face. Being a good sport was all part in playing the game. No hard feelings at all. But don't you dare go easy on me now, I want to face you at your best. Elyx said as he let go of Riley's hand. He then realized that she didn't know the name of the one she will be facing. Oh, sorry! I never introduced myself. My name is Elyx, Elyx Reiaki of the Black Rose Guild. he then hooked his pointer and middle finger over the left side of his shirt, this was done to reveal the White Rose tattoo on his collar bone. Once that was done, he jumped back to give Riley some distance. He had no weapon on him, and it wouldn't be fair to catch her off guard anyways, that wouldn't be fighting her at her best.

Let's go! Elyx exclaimed as he ran forward, both hands being occupied by his Violin and Violin bow. He kept them for defense purposes. He had Wind Lerale boost activated, allowing him to much faster and become more aware of his attacks. When he got in close range, he attempted a leg sweep, which he expected to be jumped over. He wanted to get into what normally is considered a sword lock, except without any sword. Provided the attack is dodged, he will spin back up and continue dodging and attacking until one of them gave out.

Riley watched as her opponent, Elyx launched towards her with speed and attempted a leg sweep. She had to admit that the attack was quite strong. If she wasn't trained in combat, she might've actually taken some damage but sadly that was not the case as she jumped, did a back flip and created some distance between herself and her opponent. Without a moments hesitation, she launched back at him. When she was slightly further away from Elyx, she lifted her right hand and aimed it towards her opponent. "Ice Dragon Wing Attack." Light blue aura formed around her hand as ice shards appeared and were launched towards him. She wanted to see how he would dodge it. She knew that her opponent was of the same strength as her and this little attack would not be enough to bring him down.

Ice Magic, melted ice means water. He should be careful. It seems that she sent shard of ice his way, and now he has to dodge. Or... maybe he could use this to his advantage. Good thing he has this Violin with him. He ran back as the shards of ice were headed his way, his speed not fast enough to outrun them, but his goal wasn't to outrun or to dodge them. If he wanted to avoid the hit, he would've settled for sidestepping. As he ran, he played Quintus by Larry Clark, slowing his speed down a little, but he was still able to give himself time to run. After that, he rolled backwards and shot his spell. Wind Lerale, Stream of Quintus. Elyx said as his rolled allowed him to duck, and the spell creating a chain of wind to slow down the shards of ice and control them. When he got onto his feet, he continued playing Quintus and had the wind carry the ice shards his way. He got to see how the ice shards work and what they were made of, he also found out what their greatest weakness was. It was hard to produce, and most opponents won't find out without Elyx's sense of observation.

I must say, this is an interesting form of magic you use. Elyx commented as he continued to guide the pieces of ice, noticing the similarities and differences between them. The similarities, he used to his advantages. Now he has all the information he needed about his opponents magic, just like that. He shot the ice shards back at Riley, expecting her to dodge them since it was her own magic. But now she has an opponent who learned about her magic, while his was still unconfirmed.

Riley had to admit, she was impressed by the magic Elyx was using. He managed to stop her attack and send it flying back towards her. The black haired female didn't have to dodge it, she just snapped her fingers and the ice shattered and fell to the ground. What her opponent did not know was that she controls the ice, she can make it appear out of no where and then make it shatter. Seemed like ELyx was quite confident, and Riley liked that. She was waiting to fight someone who was confident of their magic and tactics. Riley grinned at the mage standing in front of her, "Your magic is quite impressive." 

The female mage waited to use her trump card. She knew she'd have to use it in this fight but now was not the right time to use it. "Ice dragon Roar." Light blue air gused out of her mouth in the form of a tornado. As it made it's way over to Elyx, it froze the ground as it passed. She expected him to do something to avoid the attack but what was it, she wanted to see and the attack had a wide range/

She stopped the ice with her own palms, which made Elyx a little envious. It was a long time ago when he was able to control his magic with his body, in fact, it was a long long time ago in the days of Shadelle. And when he thought of Shadelle, he preferred not to use magic with just his body. He still had to admit, that move was impressive, but it seems she wasn't going to stop there. Shooting ice from her mouth, now this was certainly an odd sort of magic. No one of the Lerale race have never been able to do that. Based on his calculations, his chances at dodging this attack were rather low, but there was more than just one way to prevent oneself to take damage. It then struck him to see that the ground in turning to ice... but that wasn't a problem. Being a Violinist is all about grace and keeping yourself light when you dance, his steps may lose a little friction, but skating actually will help him long-term in this fight. His awareness... well... He couldn't say quite yet. Wind Lerale.... Cyclone Drift. Elyx said calmly as he struck the chord of Rising the Storm, now it was time to send the Ice away from him.

A giant cylinder of Wind circled around Elyx quickly, the wind outside of the cylinder being pulled into the Cyclone. Riley might have a hard time with getting out of this one, not only was the Ice being deflected by the heavy winds, she would also be dragged in by the heavy cyclone winds as well. This gives Elyx enough time to play one melody, and he knew which one it would be. The chances of Riley running are rather fair, it just depends on how badly she wants to escape the hold of wind. If she gets hit by the cyclone, it could give severe first degree wounds, but he didn't want to inflict any ore pain that that.

Riley watched as Elyx used his spell and created a wind cyclone around himself, which happened to be pulling everything towards itself. The black haired female could feel the air pulling her towards the cyclone. Her feet slid on the ground, forcing her to get closer to it. She knew that if she got hit by the cyclone, she'd get severe injuries yet she refused to run. Riley was someone who could never turn her back towards her opponent. "Wings of Ice" She muttered to herself and two large wings, each being two meter wide, slowly formed on her back. As her command, they wrapped themselves around her and she stopped in her place. Due to the very heavy weight of the wings, it was nearly impossible to move her using wind. Through the wings, she looked at Theo ho was smart enough to hide behind a wall.

Elyc continued to play the song. One thing he learned was that ice will eventually Erode, the more the wings are being used, the more they will erode to the point in which they could just melt off. In the meantime though, Elyx needed to prepare himself, the ice winds erodinv was one thing, but what was he going to do when he got out of the cyclone was a completely different thing. Elyx interrupted the Cyclone drift quick, the ground below him and 20 fest around him still earth. The rune he played in the Cyclone enabled him to summon the sword, Shattering Breeze, a sword destructive enough to create a devastation in knock back. He ran towards Riley, who would probably need some time to pull the wings back, and with his speed, Elyx wasn't going to give her that time. If his blade met her wings, he would expect the blade to shatter through the ice. The bonus effect of this blade would shoot a giant gust of wind to push his target back far away and possibly do some further damage to her wings.
