Jagged scars on both of her wrists, she does not know how she got them. Many assume she was the one to give these scars to herself however this is not the case.
Personality:
Kana grew up in the same orphanage from the second day of her life until the sixteenth year of her life. Since then she has made a home within the guild of SaberTooth however she has never really stood out that much, preferring to sit at the back of a room and observe quietly rather than joining in. Over time she is gradually coming out of her shell however this is only slightly, she remains to be the same person however she is now getting more involved in the guild... Slowly... Very slowly.
She has always been quite cold towards others, saying simply what she thinks- being very blunt no matter what the subject of conversation is. Her tone of voice never changes, remaining as quite expressionless yet oddly comforting. She also likes to keep her speech to a minimum, only saying aloud what she thinks is necessary.
Although she may come off as unapproachable, Kana has a side that could be referred to as motherly. At the orphanage she was like a big sister to the younger kids, as there was a point where she was the oldest there with no one to interact with her age. Due to this she learnt how to care for those younger than her and take them in under her wing.
Because she is naturally a quiet person, Kana is never direct about her caring actions for/ towards others and acts like they are not a big deal. When her help is mentioned she will become awkward and embarrassed.
She is not afraid to speak her mind, however she will only do so when she thinks others will benefit from her worlds, as she finds that it is best to only say something when you have something valuable to say, other wise she will remain quiet. Forever observing.
Kana only lets people call her by her name, she does not know her last name as she doesn't know her family.
In battle Kana is no more expressive than normal, unlike many who show their determination she will keep a straight face for most of the battle, only showing a small frown or any sign of frustration and hatred if the situation gets bad.
Kana is not afraid of gore and will treat blood like water, something natural and not all that fascinating. Not much scares her in battle apart from water magic. When Kana herself is wounded she will continue to carry on as normal, acting like nothing has happened and trying to cover it up if she is fighting alongside others as to make sure they don't worry. If her health is questioned by others she will most likely ignore them, pretending they never even spoke to her therefore giving no response.
When being a leader Kana might come across as quite strict, giving off precise orders to others. She likes to make sure everything goes perfect and everyone knows what they are doing, the orders she give will contain much more description and expression than her daily speech.
Being under a leader, Kana is fine as it does not bother her- having someone rule over her. She will carry out her orders and instructions to perfection, only straying from them is necessary.
Likes:
~Music~
As a child Kana listened to music almost non-stop, constantly trying to drown out her own mind and the world around her with her headphones which were always either around her neck or on her head. Even now, in her late teens, music is Kana's main escape. She loves how just a few words and a repeated tune are all she needs to stay alive.
~Cute Things~
Kana has an extremely strong love for cute objects, sometimes even people. She can obsess over anything that is pink, cute, frilly, cuddly, soft etc. Kana can also find things incredibly adorable when in the eyes of others they are really not how she see's them. Upon seeing something she finds cute she will check her surroundings (to make sure no one is watching her) and then run over to it and cuddle it- whether it is a teddy or a person or an ornament- whilst making awestruck noises. She is often ashamed of her obsession so when around other people she will pretend she has no interest in such things when secretly she loves them.
~Her Hoodie~
Her most loved possession is her hoodie. She doesnt really know why she just likes it. Kana is not one to care about clothes really but she always wears her hoodie even if it is over a fancy dress. Just dont question it.
Dislikes:
~Embarrassment~
Blushing. Kana hates blushing. It is such a girly, childish thing in her eyes that only weak people do. However no matter how hard she tries to resist, she does blush quite easily. She dislikes how other peoples (or sometimes her own) actions and words can put her in a vulnerable position.
~Seeing her friends get hurt~
Whether it be emotionally or physically she cannot stand watching her friends get hurt by anyone. At first she will be her usual calm and collected herself however if they are being hurt greatly and are clearly being traumatized she will become angry and possibly aggressive towards the culprit.
~Sweet Foods~
Sweet foods have never really appealed to Kana, she finds them too sweet ironically and would much rather prefer to eat something spicy. If someone offers her sweet foots she will just glare and turn away, not even bothering to reply for it repulses her.
Motivations:
~Make Friends~
As sad as it sounds, Kana doesn't have many - if any at all - friends. She never really has, not even when she was a child. Due to her awkwardness in social situations she sometimes finds it hard to interact with strangers or people she does not know well, and therefore does not make any friends. She would like friends as they are something she has never had but dreamt about a lot as a child... Of course she is not open about this though.
~Protect Her Friends~
Kana is the sort who would silently give up her life for her friends, in order to save them. Due to her hardly having any friends she treasures those she has/ is going to make in the future and therefore does not want anything bad to happen to them.
~Find Her Family~
She grew up in an orphanage and therefore has no recollection of who her proper family. She know see's her guild as her family, whether she shows this or not she knows deep inside it is true, but she feels like there is something missing. This of course is the blank space in her life where her true family should be. Kana has no desire to be apart of her original family once again, for they technically dumped her, she simply wants to find out who they are and why they did not want her.
Fears:
~Silence~
Once of the main reasons Kana is always listening to music is that she fears silence greatly. She is not one to make a big deal of her fears so therefore, when the noise around her, such as speech, dies down she will slip on her headphones and listen to some of her favourite songs on shuffle. When she is forced to be surrounded by silence Kana will gradually get more and more uncomfortable until she is driven into a curled up position, one that a mentally unstable person might occupy.
~Something Happening To Her Guild~
As she considers everyone in her guild a member of her family she would be traumatized if someone close to her was hurt, left the guild or died. Due to this she will make it her job to protect those she holds close, her style of doing this is usually from the sidelines and the shadows though, making it less obvious she cares so much.
~Water~
Kana is not comfortable around water at all, she does not mind rain as that is natural but for example a swimming pool would cause her to freak out. Drowning has always been something that tugged at the back of Kana's mind when she has been around water and therefore likes to avoid it. Even is her reasons are silly. She simply just doesnt like it.

Kana has long, dark green hair reaching down to her hips with two strands laying on her chest on the front. It is often hid inside of her hood and therefore only the two straying strands are visible. However when her hood is down her hair will most often be worn in a long ponytail.

Kana is a tomboy-ish looking girl who wears a dark and pale purple-gray hoodie with a headphone design on the hood and an iPod button design on the front. Underneath she wears a red jacket styled with a high zip collar. Along with this, Kana wears green pants and mint green converse shoes. The inside of the pants are white and the left side of her pants are rolled up to her knee. Kana is noted to have a very pretty face by her friends. however she keeps herself hidden inside of her hoodie.
