Zenshin's goal was the zenith of the beast with fire in its stomach, volatile and ready to blow at any minute. He wanted to see inside, however silly the reason may have been. It was just really that he had yet to explore the major parts of his own nation despite his travels to the others, some of which was actually quite a challenge to get through. Pergrande, now that was a thrill. Those that lived in that kingdom didn't quite take kindly to mages, actually. More like they hunted all those with magical powers down like animals and locked them away to torture and eventually kill when they had broken them. If the magi were lucky, they would be killed immediately trying to flee from the "peacekeepers" of that land. He wouldn't even consider sneaking past the border that separated that country from its neighbors if he didn't think he was prepared to take on the best of what they had to offer.
There was only one part of his experience in that nation which he found a little strange, as if he was being watched. It was when he was fighting Captain Scarlet, also known as the Crimson Judicator. Now that was a fun duel, possibly one of his favorite in his history of fighting one on one. During it, however, he felt a distinct feeling of eyes on the back of his head, ones that did not belong to the crowd of guards that came with the captain. Once he had defeated her, he took her weapon as a part of the deal they had, the other part being that they needed to make him a citizen of Pergrande, so he could roam as he pleased. Scarlet never once thought that a magic user could ever beat her in a one on one duel when it came to weapons, but he had a good teacher.
Eventually, he reached the summit. Not much now he thought before climbing the rest of the way and staring down into the volcano. Just as he thought, bubbling molten rock. There was something hypnotic about it though, something about it that made him glad that he put himself through all the trouble of climbing up. He focused on the space above the hole of the volcano before stepping out onto thin air and walking towards the center of the hole prior to taking a seat. The air around him was very hot, but he liked the heat, it relaxed him. I think this is the perfect place to think about what happened then
