    Ambrosia's Residence Empty Ambrosia's Residence

Post by Ambrosia Shropshass 19th February 2015, 7:23 pm

Ambrosia lives in a one-bedroom apartment with a moderate-sized living room, a small bathroom, and a decent-sized kitchen. While modest in size and initial appearance from when she first moved in, she has since made it into a place all her own. Tiny lights shaped like jellyfish dangle from the ceiling in her bedroom, illuminating it with a soft, calming blue glow. There are plushies in just about every corner and sprawled all over her bed, and the rest of the space is taken up by her books. Not the neatest person, but it could be worse.

The bathroom is not much to speak of, simple tiled floor and wooden sink with just enough drawers for her accessories and necessities. The tub is a bit too small for her to fit in completely thanks to her lanky legs, but she still enjoys relaxing bubble baths whenever she gets the chance.

The living room, where we find Ambrosia, is the most tidy since this is where she entertains guests...if she ever had any, that is. There is a small television lacrima set against the wall opposite the entrance with a classic video game lacrima attached. She prefers the simplicity of the graphics and gameplay; though she never got to play those games as a kid something about it feels very nostalgic and warming. The couch is off-white and made of a thick, plush material. She often dozes off here when playing games or reading, only to crawl half-asleep back to her room for the comfort of her plushies. There are a couple of tables with various knick knacks and ornaments lying around, most of which aren't meant to be toys but she'll play with them anyway.

We currently find our little water mage strewn about the couch, semi-automatically shoving little sugary snacks into her mouth as her fingers fiddle about on the console, controlling a little man in red and blue as he endlessly hoped up and down through obstacles. She paused, whining a bit as she turned towards the kitchen, which could easily be labeled the best room in the house. All of the space was not for pots and pans, but moreso for the obscene amount of snacks she had. She didn't really put anymore thought into it. Just...wood counters, tile floor, and snacks. Boom, kitchen. How nice it would be if she could live in there for times like this, when she didn't feel like...well, moving. But all of her plushies wouldn't fit in there...clearly, she needed something (or someone) to get her moving again.

Before an incident happened, the Wildheart had just finished eating a meal at a fine dining establishment. Oh, who am I kidding? The place was fast food in a nutshell. But Nikolai didn't care. He got in, ate and get out.

    Now onto the incident.

Nikolai had just left the "fine dining establishment", a giant cup of liquid in his hand, on the walk home, he drank from the cup until there was no more left. When he got to the apartment complex in which he lived, he realized something:

He needed to take a piss. Fast.

Realizing that he was several floors away from his apartment, he broke the door of the nearest housing, running in with no regard to who or what was in there, running straight for the bathroom, where he relieved himself in the tub.

I did neglect to mention that the apartment featured a rather nice door, but suddenly it seems that's not so relevant anymore, as it suddenly flew straight off its hinges. The sweet treat she had just plopped into her mouth nearly shot right down her esophagus, fist pounding on her chest until it popped out and toppled onto the floor, right along with her. She instantly scrambled back onto the couch, clinging to it as if it would somehow provide her protection from whatever the Hell had just barraged into her home. Slowly, ever so slowly, she peeked over the edge, lithe body shivering with nervousness and fear. Whatever it was either didn't mean her any harm or had missed her--

And then, she heard it. The distinctive flowing of water...or some type of liquid. Be pretty damn hard to mistake that, especially being a water mage. It didn't sound quite like the sink...or the tub, or the shower...her blue eyes went wide, skin turning just about as pale as her hair as she twitched, head lolling to the side. How...was one even to put their thoughts into coherent words that described this moment...

The vigilant mage could hear a moaning as Nikolai urinated. The clear liquid made a crackling sound as it hit the floor of the tub. The Wildheart couldn't care less who or what was nearby, the emptying of his bladder filled his mind. Finally, when he finished, he shook himself and zipped his pants up. Holding Raika, he turned to walk out of the bathroom when he saw, of all things,

A girl. Yep, you heard it. Out of all houses, Nikolai chose to break into some chick's house and piss in her bathtub. You could see the clear surprise on the Wildheart's face as he froze.

Given by the surprised look on his face, he hadn't been expecting to see her...her brain was still trying to process exactly what had just happened, to be honest. Her door was lying on the floor...and a guy she had never seen before...standing in her apartment...water, tub...UGH. She must have spent a minimum of 10 seconds just staring stupidly at him before her synapses finally seemed to click, resulting in her scrambling and toppling right off of the sofa once more. Should she hide? Ask him to leave? Pretend this all never happened? Her panic had to be evident on her face and entire body by now. "A-a-ahhh..." She was gaping like a fish, trying to form any sort of statement that would make sense, but when she finally did, she might as well not have. "D-d...did you...n-need...something...?" Yes, that's right, just invite him to make even more use of you and your property! Genius.

The Wildheart continued to stare in complete disbelief. I might as well have walked into a vulcan forest, he thought as he blinked once, and broke his silence.

I don't need anything. I took a piss in your bathtub so I guess you don't want me here or something. Heh. Asides from that, I guess you live in the same complex as me or something. Good thing I broke the door in when I did..."

Nikolai, holding Raika as if though it were a cane, twirled his finger around the inside of the exhaust port. The finger turned a jet black, much like his hair.

"Here, I'll clean this for you."

With a certain hesitation, Nikolai twisted one of the dials to the water faucet, making water course down the sink, washing out the impurity.

Well, at least he was honest...and he didn't seem to want to kill her...those were two good things, right? Though she was still quite discombobulated at the fact that any of this had happened in the first place. How exactly was it a good thing that her door was now unhinged...? Oh man, she'd probably have to pay a whole lot to fix the door now, and it was such a pretty door too...huffing slightly, she pouted, puffed out cheeks squishing on the soft cushions of the sofa. He had apologized and that was good, but she honestly wasn't sure how to deal with all of this. "A-ah, thanks..." she mumbled, fidgeting nervously. On the bright side, this was an opportunity to better herself on dealing with people...heaven knew that was needed, if it wasn't already obvious enough.

The Wildheart cleaned Raika's exhaust port until it was shining. By then, all ten of his fingers were a jet black. He used the water that was flowing out of the tub's faucet to clean his hands, but they only turned a dark grey after a while. He turned off said faucet, and took some random towel out from who-knows-where(assuming you have towels here) and dried his hands with it.

How hard did I hit that door?
    Wildheart 1.

Nikolai focused his attention to the door which he had just broken off its hinges. How much power did he have to be able to break a wooden or whatever door in one go?

Ambrosia stayed attentive to the noises coming from the other room, at last moving from her spot to peak her head in. It shouldn't take that long to rinse out a tub, ri--oh. And now, one of her favorite towels was as black as soot. It was okay, right, she could wash it...though the slight twitching of her face said otherwise. When he turned back towards her, she flinched, following his gaze to the door. She could probably take care of that herself, right? It would be f...no, no! Swallowing, she poked her fingers together, trying not to stutter but failing. "U-um...i-if you wouldn't mind...c-could you...do something, about t-that..."

Nikolai took a minute to look at the door that he just broke. This isn't coming back on, he thought as he blinked six times. He then picked up the door with two hands, walking out the doorway, throwing it over the balcony. The vigilant mage could hear a crashing sound as the door made impact with the concrete before. There was no way he could be able to pay to replace that door, I'll tell you right now.

"I don't have the money to replace that door. You should really get a new one."

Being flabbergasted, confused, and shaken was one thing. But now, well, Ambrosia was just about outright outdone, aghast, and very close to fuming. Would it really have been that hard to at least repair THAT door?! She had tried her best to stay calm and accomodating in spite of this all, that is, wouldn't most people have gotten exponentially upset much more quickly?? Clenching her fists, Ambrosia stomped her foot. "T-that was completely uncalled for!" she said, her voice not so little this time. "You could have hit someone with that! A-and, you said you live in the same building? Couldn't you have just gone to your own apartment?" She was still shaking a bit, not wanting to face any retaliation from her snapping like this. "I-I'm sorry, I just don't like this at all! The very least you could do after welcoming yourself in like that and trashing my property is stick around and help me get it fixed! I-I'm sure the landlord won't like having to replace an entire door either, a-and I don't want to get kicked out...!" Her eyes started to water, from frustration, from confusion and fear over what would happen next...lovely.

"I'm not a bat. I made sure that I threw the door somewhere where nobody was around. And what're you getting so pissy about?"

Nikolai spat over the balcony, so that the saliva splattered when it hit the floor. He turned around to respond with "I've broken my door in six times and the landlord was never pissed about it."

The Wildheart then blinked six times, keeping his eyes closed for a full two seconds between each blink to compose himself. By the end of the sixth blink, he opened his eyes to see the poor girl being moved to tears. "Calm down. I'm sure the landlord'll not notice. I guess."

Post by Ambrosia Shropshass 24th February 2015, 1:40 am

Ambrosia was pretty sure there were many adjectives that could be used to describe this man, and right now...none of them were that polite. How uncoothed...how utterly wild and just...careless and inconsiderate! Sniffling, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath, turning away from him. "F-fine, whatever you say...if you have no more business with me then kindly allow me to find a job to take so I can pay off the repairs as soon as possible...I'd rather not have bugs coming in and eating my food..." A brief flash of death lurked in her eyes at that thought, but quickly faded as she went to sit down and riffle through some papers. Come to think of it, this was predominantly and foremost a building that catered to the needs of mages, so perhaps this incident wouldn't get her evicted after all, but still...her food. Her precious food needed to be protected, and that was generally what doors did! Now she really would be sleeping in the kitchen until this was all fixed...

Nikolai began to wrap Raika when his ears wiggled at the thought of food. "Speaking of which, can I borrow some of your food?"

How terribly undignified it was for Nikolai to have broken in a woman's door, urinated in her bathtub, and to come back asking for food afterwards! However, all thoughts of dignity left the Wildheart's mind as he thought of an item that could be eaten most delightfully. He walked past the woman, nonchalantly yet gallantly into the kitchen, where he saw cabinets, and a fridge. He started by sifting through the refrigerator, seeing hardly anything he liked.

"Oi, you got any food here?"

Something--actually, everything-- about Ambrosia in that moment, to even the dumbest of rocks, screamed, "RUN." Her eyes twitched before shadowing over, fists balling and unballing. A sort of dark energy loomed into the room and grew every moment he was in her kitchen, rifling through her fridge, asking for HER FOOD! Just as it felt that energy was about to snap and blast away this chunk of the building--

    "W-would...would you like...to make...a meal together?"

Someone like this had to either have no friends or a troupe of...eccentric beings akin to his own heart, and she didn't exactly want to get on the bad side of people like that. Besides, if the former was the case (of that she was almost certain) then she knew how bad that feeling was. Perhaps he just needed someone to show him kindness (and a little ettiquette). She had shoved her most enraged, possessive feelings deep down, though, and was still struggling against that as she fidgeted her hands, shifting back and forth, cheeks slightly puffed out in defeat. "I would have to go out and buy some things...but I would like to learn how to cook better, a-and you're hungry...and I assume we're both bored, s-so I don't see why not..."

The Wildheart was still digging through the place when he heard the question.

"I'm not too good at cooking, so bear with-" Nikolai felt a pulsing pain from his chest, immediately fell backwards, so that he was laid out on the ground. How coulds the Draco Mage be so stupid as to not figure out that he was poisoned! He convulsed but once, then laid limp on the ground. The vigilant mage could think that he were dead. He'd better get some help, fast, or he'd be dead for real.

Post by Ambrosia Shropshass 10th March 2015, 4:03 pm

Before his back hit the ground, Ambrosia had sprung up next to him. Sure, he had been a rather substantial thorn in her side today, but he was still human! At least, she assumed...either way, he was a living thing, and she typically cared about all of those! Unless, he wasn't anymore...kneeling down, she checked for a pulse. She could feel one faintly, but gently shaking him proved to be futile. She put her hands over her mouth, taken to trembling once more. She didn't want him to die, she couldn't let that happen...if she had put more energy into healing with her magic, this would've been relatively simple. Deciding it wasn't time to start questioning all of her life choices, though that would probably (definitely) happen later on, she dashed into the kitchen, right to her medicine cabinet that thankfully hadn't been disturbed, and plucked out a bottle of Ultimate Healing potion she had gotten from the store recently. It had been a lot of money, but given her deficiency in the craft she figured it would come in handy. Kneeling down to him once more, she moved to administer the medicine...and froze. He was out cold, and the medicine could only be taken orally. If she tried to just haphazardly pour it into his mouth, he might choke.

Oh...oh dear. She had seen something like this on a show once, and had wondered if it was even possible or just stuff used for the sake of drama. But right now, she didn't really have a choice. The last thing she wanted was having to explain to her landlord why she had 1. a broken down door that was laying somewhere on the pavement 2. her apartment likely swarmed with bugs who wanted her precious food, and 3. a dead body. She twitched, took a deep breath, gulped...and sighed. There were worse things in the world, right? Surely there had to be...burnt bacon, bunnies who had their feet taken for lucky charms...she began reciting a list of those things mentally as she poured the medicine into her mouth, holding it in her cheeks as she grasped his head (fuck it was heavy) tilted it towards her, closed her eyes...and closed her lips over his. Her tongue gently pushed on his, coaxing the muscles to swallow the precious liquid. The medicine was pretty much tasteless, so she was able to pick up on the tastes lingering on his tongue. Whatever he had been drinking or eating tasted pretty good...mn...

Literally, Nikolai's whole life flashed before his ghastly dead eyes. From living in the catacombs, to being entered into Cor Draco, literally everything he did, he saw. He could remember being taught Magma-Make by the old man.

"Extend your consciousness," the old man said.

"If I could do that, then I wouldn't be havin' problems."

The training partners stood side by side by Nikolai, in two single-file lines.

    This is a flashback.
