Duel of the Dragons (Reiki v.s Aian spar)

Reiki sat motionless atop a rock. After discovering that he was a Dragon Slayer, Reiki had asked Aian to spar with him to better learn these abilities that we're suddenly coming back to him. Aian was the closest in over all skill to Reiki, so he thought it perfect if the two of them trained together. Reiki also wanted to see if Aian had grown strong enough to utilize his other personalities power while they hadn't seen each other.

The meeting place was a secluded, wide open quarry far from any civilization. It was the perfect place for two Dragon Slayers to go all out without causing a panic. Reiki sighed, staring up into the clouds out of pure boredom. Even without lightning magic I'm faster than he is. Guess eating all that iron makes him heavier.... he mumbled, brushing his hand back through his hair.

Aian was asked by his closest friend, Reiki, to spar with him in order for him to learn how Dragon Slayer magic better. He had chosen a secluded location, so the two would be able to spar without having much worry of inturruption. Aian had been training on enforcing the power of his magic, but in an offensive fight Aian still had more to learn in utilizing his skills. He had already changed his sword from being the same as Kamuy's to something faster and more mobile. Some of his other skills have also been slightly changed, and yet he had not focused on attacking priorities. Aian thought that this would be a good chance for him to see how his partner utilized his own magic for attack and defense to try and get a better grip of how he too can change his style so he is both an overwhelming force and an unmovable object like his master used to be.

Aian arrived to find his partner, like always, waiting for him to arrive. It was granted that Aian was slower than most people at a start, but he hated running to gain the momentum and not use it for anything; for it can cause serious accidents and injuries to others he might collide with unable to stop. "Reiki!" He called out, setting down a large bag of medical supplies down in case either of them would need it.

Reiki turned as Aian called to him. He smirked as he he stood up on the rock and faced his sparring partner. You're late! Guess we shouldn't waste anytime testing our abilities then! Reiki shouted, lifting his hands straight up into the air. His dragon magic circle glowed its feint blue above him, and also directly on his back. Ice Dragon's Scale Armor and Freezing Wings!!

His magic circle above him shot down over his body, coating it in an icy armor resembling his dragon parent. The circle on his back then produced his wings, as Reiki instantly took off into the air, just outside of what he knew to be Aian's previous effective combat range. He hovered there awkwardly, still trying to get a feel for the idea of actually flying. The added weight of his Scale Armor wasn't helping things either. Man this feels so damn weird. Gotta get used to all this. This'll be a good test of how he's improved and just how much this armor can really take... he murmured, awaiting for Aian's next move.

Aian watched as Reiki flew into the air, activating his armor and gaining frozen wings. Knowing that he himself couldn't fly, he tried to think of a way to get his sparing partner down. My roar could reach him, but I need to save that in cast He uses his. I could try to run away far enough to get enough speed to lunge at him; but that would leave me vulnerable and open to his attacks as I get enough momentum... He began thinking, and then noticed his partner not used to the flying and got an idea.

Aian jumped back a few feet, to get a clear aim at Reiki from the ground. Aian then jumped slightly into the air and performed a whirling kick as he chanted "Iron Dragon Kick." A magic circle formed around his right leg, making it glow white. He kicked the ground hard enough to break open some small boulders that he then used to start punching and kicking towards Reiki in the air with intense strength, launching them like missiles; sometimes breaking into two upon the impact of his punch and kick. He sent in total ten speeding boulders towards Reiki.

Reiki watched as Aian slammed his foot into the ground, causing rocks to shoot up. Aian then began punching and kicking them towards Reiki at a decently quick rate. Reiki attempted to dodge, which more or less just ended up in him spinning wildly in the air. He did however manage to dodge the rocks. After regaining control Reiki turned directly at Aian and thrust his hands forward. A magic circle glowed in front of him. This is the one move I'm really familiar with. I sure hope it'll hit he thought as he chanted Ice Dragon's Snaring Jaw!

Ice fangs shot out in a 4 group pattern arcing upward and downward towards Aian like a dragons jaw closing down upon him. Reiki knew he would have to face Aian's close combat with his own. He just wanted to keep up the range for as long as he could.

Aian noticed Reiki tumbling around in the air, yet getting lucky to dodge the rocks. "That....could have gone better on both of our ends Reiki..." He said, feeling ashamed of the entire performance. However, Reiki retaliated by using one of his spells that was similar to when he used lightning magic, two sets of double arching spears, one set arching up, the second one down; forming the illusion of jaws. Aian knew this attack was meant for rending armor, so he didn't bother using his shield and took the attack head on. He flinched from the impact, taking a good deal of damage before standing up again and looking at his friend. "Be careful Reiki, I don't want to go berserk during this." He called out, hoping that he could prevent Kamuy from awakening by taking a lot of damage.

Aian ran towards Reiki, picking up some speed as he punched his fists together, a magic circle forming under him as he ran. "Iron Dragon Body!" He yelled out, as the circle quickly moves over him, covering his body in a flexible coat of Iron. Upon his forearms, palms, cheeks were dragon-scale like markings that remained flat on him. Now having some speed, Aian attempted to jump up towards Reiki, and throw a punch to knock him down onto the ground; where he would have the advantage.

Reiki grew concerned when Aian spoke. . "Be careful Reiki, I don't want to go berserk during this." So he still hasn't gained control over his other side. Not like I can really go all out against him anyway While he was thinking, Aian caught him off guard in the air with a solid punch, sending Reiki straight to the ground. Reiki's wings cracked as did part of his armor on the back. He knew he could sustain the armor a little while longer, depending on what Aian used to attack him with. The wings were breaking though, so he had to make them count.

Reiki charged awkwardly back into the air where Aian was still hanging. He turned his momentum into a summersault, coating his right leg in an icy aura. When he had gotten just above Aian he stopped awkwardly, his leg high above Aian's head and chanted Ice Dragon's Fang Drop as he brought his foot down hard.

'Damage Dice' :

Aian followed Reiki's movement and held his right arm up. "Iron Dragon Scale Shield." A magical circle formed halfway down the forearm, and ran itself quickly over Aian's hand, turning it into a five foot wide, four foot long iron shield. Aian waited for the impact to hit the shield, knowing that if it failed he would fall down into the earth hard, though hardly damaged; but it would set him back as Reiki would again be out of his range.

Aian threw up his scale shield but it was too late. Reiki's hit had already connected and sent Aian crashing into the ground. He had hit Aian's forearm though, so he knew that arm would be frostbitten for a small amount of time due to his Fang Drop. Reiki knew that for both of them to get the most from this training, he couldn't leave much room to breath. He didn't want Aian to do that for him either.

The wings being on the verge of breaking, Reiki rushed down to wear Aian had fallen, throwing a standard punch directly for his back. Since Aian's collision had thrown some dirt into the air, and Aian's body was as hard if not harder than the ground, Reiki couldn't tell if he had it or not.

Aian fell hard, though his armor still held up as he began to slowly get up from his crash. The small dirt cloud blocked his vision of Reiki coming down for another punch. Aian was punched in the face, though because of his armor and his natural physical defense, Aian was hardly unphased by the punch. Aian grabbed Reiki's arm firmly to prevent him from getting away, and punched him hard in the stomach to disable him for a few moments. While he is disabled, Aian lets go of his arm and winds back for hard kick, his foot and shin glowing white from a magic circle. "Kick!" He shouts as he throws a hard hitting kick for Reiki's side, where if it were to connected Reiki would be sent flying back five meters spiraling.

'Damage Dice' :

Reiki's arm was grabbed by Aian, and before he could react he was punched in the stomach as his wings faded away. The armor absorbed most of the damage, but Reiki could still feel the hit. He was a little shaken by it. Damn he can hit hard even without using attack spells. That's the benefit of his Iron Dragon Body though. Before Reiki could even finish his thoughts Aian had kicked him in the side sending him flying quite a ways.

Without his wings he couldn't recover, so Reiki just bounced along the ground as his armor began cracking everywhere. Once he finally came to a stop, he pushed himself up off the ground and turned towards Aian, smirking. He sure has gotten better... Well I can't be slacking off either. I'm gonna have to get through that defense. If only I still had Lightning Body. This Dragon Slayer magic seems to have completely taken over my other magic. I gotta think of a way to move around without the wings. Reiki thought quietly aloud as his armor chipped off in various places.

He then looked along the ground while holding his hand out in front of him. An idea came to his mind as he recalled another technique for mobility. His hand glowed in an icy mist as he chanted Ice Dragon's Slide! A constant stream of ice shot from Reiki's hand as he began to slide on the ice he was creating. It was a bit awkward but it was giving him more mobility. It was also giving him another idea. I'm not used to this yet but Aian won't be either. The ice isn't very sturdy but I can coat the floor with it and try to limit his movements with this. He thought, smirking as he tried to get used to propelling himself along ice. Reiki decided to maneuver around Aian as he got used to his new ability.

Aian watched Reiki move around using his new magic to create an ice path and slide on it. Aian stood his ground, knowing that trying to chase would be pointless; Reiki had more constant mobility while it would take Aian some time to get up to speed, and even then the Ice proposed a problem in his footing, causing him to lose large amounts of momentum and getting him no where. Aian kept Reiki in front of him at all times, making sure to keep his eyes locked on the fast moving Ice Dragon Slayer. Trying to cast a spell like this would be pointless, I do not have any mobility to catch up to him or to hit him successively. He could constantly just slide around in circles around me. Though if I was to let him get behind me, he could strike at my blind spot. This is just like before, except this time I am not like an Iron Lightning Rod for his magic, he would have to specifically aim for me. If I can keep enough ground around me as ground, I should be able to dodge his attacks if I see them in time. He thought as he put up his guard, constantly keeping track of his opponent. Unless Reiki came close, AIan could only act in defense and wait for his moment to strike.

Reiki kept his eye on Aian noticing he was keeping up a constant defense. That always was his greatest asset. I need a move to get through it. I can't just circle around him forever. He thought as he built up speed. More and more the ground around Aian became ice. Reiki then had an idea. I'm not that used to it yet, but I have to give it a try. This may end up horribly... But this can get through his Iron Body. Then I'll be able to slow him down more with my ice touching his bare skin.

Reiki aimed his left hand and began building the ice in a slow arc upward like a hill. He almost fell off a few times but he manage to keep his footing. When he had climbed to about 30 feet he arced the slide downward straight for Aian, pulling back his right fist as he coated it in the largest icy aura him and Aian had ever seen him do. It was a head on assault with a great amount of speed. He charged directly in for Aian, making sure that he could see the determination in Reiki's eyes as he neared closer. When he was finally within striking distance, he discontinued the slide and shouted Ice Dragon's Shotgun Fist!!as he thrust his right fist directly toward Aian's stomach, as the sound of a loud gunshot going off ringed from his hand. Reiki knew even if the punch itself were to be dodged, the 9 icicles that shot forward from it would hit and pierce Aian's defenses.

Aian watched Reiki climb tne meteres high before he started charging straight for him. Aian watched as the aura in Reiki's fist started to get larger and larger. A head on assault!? Even if I met up with him this would turn out bad for me. I have to keep him away with that attack. Aian waited, continuing to watch Reiki get closer and closer. When Reiki launched himself off of the Ice slide, Aian dropped to his knees and slamed his palms into the ground. A magic circle enveloped his hands as they quickly sunk into the ground and a large and thick Iron wall came up in front of Aian, blocking Reiki's view of him. Aian hoped that the wall would hold back the spell enough to significantly reduce the damage, if not stop it all together. However, if his attack continued through, Aian knew his armor would be no match for the attack, and it would shatter doing more damage to him.

'Block Dice' :

Aian managed to throw up a wall in the short window of time between Reiki leaving his slide and launching his attack. It was impressive how quickly he was able to raise this extra bit of defense. However, Reiki's Shotgun Fist pierced through effectively, as the icicles shot through it and spread out into different areas of Aian's body causing sharp pains.

Reiki landed on the ground, staring at the wall impressed he was able to break through it. He wasn't completely unscathed however, as he did just directly punch a wall of solid iron. He looked at his right hand, trying to move it to no avail. The ice build up was greater than he had anticipated and ended up numbing his entire hand, which was useful since now he couldn't feel the pain from breaking a bone from punching the wall. Jeez. That one still needs a lot of practice. No good if I completely numb up my hand and can't use it anymore in the fight. he sighed, as he turned toward Aian. Reiki knew he had dealt quite some damage, but that wouldn't be enough to keep Aian down.

He smirked as he called out to his friend Your reaction time has gotten a hell of a lot better! I think I broke a bone on that one!!

Aian was hurt; armor gone, and had taken every one of Reiki's attacks so far. But he still could move and wasn't hurt badly enough to be taken down. As he listened to his friend's words of praise, he quickly removed his hands and jumped meters away from the slowly descending Iron wall. Aian then began sprinting at it as fast as he could, when the wall was just about halfway down, Aian jumped onto it, and used his momentum to launch himself off of the wall, and dive straight for Reiki. Despite not having his armor up anymore, Aian's physical strength was still a force to be reckoned with as he could punch stone without being harmed. Aian threw out powerful punch, where if Reiki dodged, it would bury his hand slightly into the ground, and break the surface of the earth a bit. If it came into contact with Reiki, Aian would have punched him into the ground and bounce him off again; knocking him a few feet away with his momentum.
