Description: Words of power are oft used to convey arcane might into being by most forms of magic. Whether it be simple habit, or the only way of passing mana into power, words have always had a vex of their own over the world. As such, there have often been a variety of magics that were solely based on the idea of passing power into a form of words known as runes. One such form is known as the Scarlet Rune set. A series of rune indiscernible to a native English reader, marked only by it's beauty comparable to ancient Latin.
As the legend goes, Hester was a lonely woman without a soul in the world who'd meet hers. She was admonished by the town for committing the heinous sin of adultery, and forced to bear a scarlet "A" on her bosom. Her only solace was in her craft and child, one of which she hid. You see, the poor Hester Prynne had fallen so black in sin that she had no problems developing her own magic script. Based initially on the very first scarlet letter she bore, Hester Prynne wrote malformed letters of some imagined language to soothe her sanity. All these letters would manifest themselves as crimson text, sending faint glows reminiscent of the flame of hell. Some would often proclaim that when Hester was alone in the dark, the very letter she wore on her bosom was enchanted as to maliciously curse those who dared turned their beady judgmental eyes towards her.
As such, any magic that is created by a great sinner of history will tag a long with it great punishments. Lilica must bear a tattoo of the ignominious letter Hester wore to mark her adultery. Those who bear Scarlet Rune Magic are often plagued with voices in their head, oft said to be the barking and growling of the judgmental kin of one poor Hester Prynne. The screeches the young girl must have let silently die in hear swarmed around the magic, cursing those who dare to discern their secrets with constant self-hatred. Only a pious soul could control the text as was inscribed by Hester Prynne.
But again, this is one of many legends to describe the peculiar set. There are other stories, such as contracts with jack-o-lanterns, and dances with devil-folk, but Lilica preferred faith that Hester created the set. She shared a last name after all, and it made the young girl think she had contacted her destiny. As if she was a humble heiress to the poor sinner's wishes, surely if there was ever a diction borne from loneliness, it's author would wish for someone to utilizes. Who better for such an opulent task than Lilica Prynne? A woman who dedicated her life to serving whoever requires her services. Regardless of the task, destiny ensured her victory.
Strengths:
- Scarlet Rune Magic is very diverse. Thanks to the variety of the rune combination set itself, the correct combination of runes will achieve a variety of different affects.
- Scarlet Rune Magic has many spells rooted in fire, an element of which is an incredible offensive set.
- Scarlet Rune Magic has powerful AoE spells
Weaknesses:
- As Scarlet Rune Magic has many fire based spells, the user may have trouble dealing with water based magic.
- Users of Scarlet Rune Magic suffer from voices in their head. These voices are constantly remind the user of their sins, and put them down.
- A fire dragon slayer can easily eat the fire based spells of a Scarlet Rune Magic user
- It's many AoE spells may backfire on an ally.

Description: There was once a man, well not really a man, but a half-human, half hedgehog hybrid by the name of Pulse. Unlike his brother Crest, who possessed the ability to manipulate water and was a doctor who strived to help people, he was a destructive being who only wanted to rule. He became known as Master Pulse, whilst his brother became known as Doctor Crest. Pulse was a master of air manipulation for highly destructive purposes and his descendants, most of them full humans, gained this ability. The ability to make the very air into a destructive weapon.
Ability: User gains access to a passive and is able to add 3 wind spells in addition to their magic to the spells.The spells gains are one of the user’s rank, one of a rank lower and one of a rank lower than that(max S-rank, Min D-rank). The passive ability is flight where they the wind wraps around them and allows them to fly around at their max speed or less.
Usage: Passive flight. The 3 spells must be made in addition to the user’s spells in their magic. They cannot have two or more spells of the same rank either meaning that at D-rank they only receive one spell from this, at C-rank they will have a C-rank spell and a D-rank spell from this and at B-rank rank they will have a B-rank spell, a C-rank spell and a D-rank spell from this lineage
Unique Abilities:
- Perfect Penmanship: As Lilica has incredible experience writing various Scarlet Runes, her penmanship has developed as something of incredible value. Calligraphy comes naturally to her, as well as all other forms of writing. As is only naturally for someone who must frequently express her dexterity, Lilica's constant use of writing gives her the ability to perfectly apply her own life energy to her magic. Anytime she cast a spell under Scarlet Rune Magic, Lilica can forfeit 5% of her own health to increase the damage the spell deals by 25%.
- Disintegration:Much like the Scarlet letter itself often resembled hell fire, its charge is filled with a variety of fire based spells. One such is perpetually active, in the form of a charring touch. Whenever the user of this magic touches any object that weighs 20/40/60/80/100/120 lbs, (applied to respective rank) they can will said object to be disintegrated on the spot. This same disentigration effect can apply to spells that are thrown at the user that possess a physical form, so long as they are of the same rank as the user or lower. Spells that are ethereal, or based off of water, will not be able to be disintegrated by this ability. After this ability has been used once, it will go on cool down for 6 post, before the rune will automatically regenerate itself onto Lilica's hands. This effect cannot affect registered equipment however.
- Rune of Blaze Shifting: Lilica possess two scarlet runes on her feet that are permanently engraved there. Each one supplies her with a bonus to her melee attacks by 25%, calling upon the forces of hatred and ignominy that so bit at Hester. If her feet manage to be severed from her body, the runes will no longer take effect, and she will be severely neutered from physical combat.
