Description:
This is a magic that uses ghost like powers to harm their enemy. The user is less concerned with harming the target's health or body, but destroying their mind and soul itself. Some would see this magic as true evil as it leaves it's victims without a soul in death, a complete death. The magic is more focused on attacks than on defense, but the attacks on a soul is much more effective than on the skin as most souls have no protection and are highly sensitive. This means that a needle to the skin may feel like a pinch, but a needle to the soul would feel like a twisting knife. This magic attacks the mind as such pain and stress can cause psychological damage. This magic is versatile as it uses words, blasts, illusions and more to cause pain and eventually destroy the soul. With some attacks, like soul decay it not only kills the soul, but heals the user using the stolen life force.
Attacking the soul attacks someone's health AND magic. The soul is the "immortal" essence of a living being. That is why attacking a soul hurts someone's health and magic. To explain it, here is a metaphor. A tree has three parts, wood, water and roots. If you are focused on attacking a trees health you attack the wood. Enough attacks would destroy the tree, but the roots are unharmed and may repair the tree. Then there is the water the moves through it like magic. Stop the magic/water and you leave the tree vulnerable and even could kill it. Then there are the roots, the soul. Ignore the tree and attack the roots and you destroy the tree completely harming the wood and water source. You not only harm the tree, you completely prevent it from regrowing and healing. So attacking the soul of a person effects their roots so it harms their health and magic.
Strengths:
-Even if the damage to their health is not great, Soul magic causes high mental/ psychological damage.
- Armors meant to block physical attacks have no effect in blocking certain attacks.
- Creates fear
Weaknesses:
- Not very defensive
- Not physically strong in the traditional sense.
- Not many abilities that attack the flesh.
- 30% weaker to “holy” magic.
Lineage:
Androphobic Annihalation
Description: There was once a famous pirate by the name of Catherine. In her past she lost her arms at the hands of men, but was saved by a woman and gained robotic arms. However, the trauma of the event triggered androphobia within her. She would lash out violently at any male. Strangely though her androphobia also triggered the ability to actually be able to do more damage against male opponents. This ability passed down through her blood line and now is a lot more useful as it can be activated at will. However, it also comes with the drawback of whilst active less damage is done to females.
Ability: Whilst activated the user gains a 50% buff on any damage caused against a male opponent. However, they also do 30% less damage against female opponents. This only counts for physical damage.
Usage: For the duration of five posts physical attacks will do 50% more damage against males and 30% less against females. Can be used three times per thread with a five post cooldown in between.
Unique Abilities:
Aura of Death: As Hakora has been exposed to so much death and souls his magic gives off the feeling of death and murder and can cause fear, depression, and a sense of hopelessness in people around him. 5 Meter radius.
Resistance to Unholy magic: Due to the dark nature of Soul Magic it gives him an added resistance to unholy magic of 40% against magic his own rank and 10% extra for every rank is is below his.
Immune to Illusions: Due to Hakora’s mental state and ability to stay calm in psychological attacks and his own magic Illusions can easily be broken by Hakora and then he becomes immune to their effects. Limited to his own rank or lower

Duration: 3 posts or until canceled
Cooldown: +1 to however long it lasts.
Description:
Hakora can transform his body into a ghost like material which makes him able to move through shadows or dodge attacks for as long as he is in it. He is also not able to attack or use any other spells during this This is mainly for hiding, travel, and dodging. The cool down is 1 post more to the duration it is used.
Strengths:
- Great for movement from one place to another and dodging.
- Can have one rank d spell pass through him.
- great for hiding
Weaknesses:
-He cannot attack.
- Weak against Holy magic
- Only 1 Rank D spell can pass through him and then it is canceled.
- Higher ranked spells hit him.
- Lights make him easier to see
Name: Soul Decay
Rank: Rank D
Type: Instant, Offensive
Duration: Instant and 3 posts max
Cooldown: 4 posts
Description: The soul of a Shadow Soul Mage is death and this is using that soul. The user casts a spell that creates a bubble around them. This bubble begins to slowly decay and kills trees and grass of non-magical nature and bugs. It is 10 foot radius and if something is within it for 2 posts it will begin to decay. The spell is not strong enough or lasts long enough to kill, but it will cause a sort of dehydration effect. The part that should be considered is the life it takes is given to Hakora. For every post something living is in this, Hakora gains 3% life back from opponents in the bubble and 1% from things like grass and bugs and 2 percent if trees are in it, but an opponent isn't. Enemy can get out of the bubble.
Strengths:
-Can drain someone of a little bit of health
-Heals Hakora
- Protects Hakora from physical attacks as most people won't enter it for fear of it's effects.
Weaknesses:
-Very weak at rank D and slowly takes life
- Cannot move from Hakora
- Weak against holly mage. Only drains 1% instead of 3%
- Hard to get a person in the bubble have to be near Hakora.

Type: Offensive, binding
Duration: Instant to cast and lasts until broken
Cooldown: 4 posts
Description: Hakora uses his soul and magic to enchant his poetry to give it power like word magic. The words become like a binding magic that shoots at the target and tries to wrap them and bind them before causing damage. It lasts until the user ether uses a magic to break it or breaks it with physical force if they are a higher rank. If binded, it begins draining the person's soul and giving that to Hakora to heal Hakora. It drains 2% for every post binded and Hakora gains 2% HP and MP that the target is binded depending on which one he is need of. 30 meter range.
Strengths:
-Able to keep someone from moving.
-Heals Hakora
- Drains the target of a small amount of their health and magic ie soul. drains HP and Mp 2 % every post binded
Weaknesses:
-easily breakable.
- Only heals Hakora 2% hp and mp
-Only does weak drain
- Holy magic can break it no matter the rank.

Type: Offensive
Duration: Instant
Cooldown: 2 Post
Description:
Hakora harnesses his magic into his fist and makes a punching motion at ether close range or long range that will send a dark blast. If this blast hits it will bypass strong armor and skin and go directly for the soul causing damage to it. At Rank C this is a powerful attack as hitting someone’s soul is like pulling an animal’s tail that is highly sensitive to it. At Rank C it does 20 health actual damage, but hurts more than it should due to the sensitivity of a soul. It has a range of 30 feet of rank C. It does move at 60 MPH
Strengths:
-Bypassing armor. Unless the armor can block soul magic then it is useless to this attack.
- If the target is hit with two Soul Punches it will fracture the soul. A fractured soul can be captured or "reaped." The souk can not heal from being fracture during battle and requires the target to post a healing post after the battle. This healing post can be anything that is restful.
- It does damage to health and magic
Weaknesses:
-Does not cause a lot of physical damage.
-Weak against holy defenses.
-Is dodgeable.
- Can only go through strong armor or less.
Name: Soul Reaping

Type: Offensive
Duration: Instant
Cooldown: 2 posts
Description: This is an advanced power and requires Soul Punch to fracture the soul in order to make this power effective. Hakora is Rank C and cannot easily reap a soul i.e. take it from the target so he needs it fractured. A fractured soul means he can only take a small piece. This piece of the soul merges with Hakora's own soul and gives him power. At Rank C this gives him a 10 percent defense against the magic(s) the target holds in primary and secondary if they have it. This power is stackable, but in order to perform soul reaping again, Hakora must fracture the soul again. It should be noted the soul, like the physical body, can heal. When one soul reaping is successful it knocks the persons mp count down by 10 points which cannot be healed back during the battle. After the battle, the user must do a healing thread of rest to heal back their soul and restore it to a complete soul.
Strengths:
- A successful soul reaping grants Hakora with 10 percent defense to the magic of the reaped.
