Post by Kihia 22nd March 2015, 7:27 pm

Kihia frowned as soon as he saw both blasts seemingly enter into the walls of blackness, when he heard Gwhards Taunt he knew exactly what he had to do, he took a wide posture extending both hands outward, in the exact moment when the blasts came back into view, a magical shockwave seemingly emanated from Kihia. First the blasts crystalized into ice shortly followed by the walls of darkness. Kihia stood there for a second examining the buldging spheres of ice that were once the spells in play, as well as the Guantlets he had just been using. He frowned knowing that the Guantlets to had been affected and thus lost, but he most certainly wasn’t going to fret about it. For despite that set back he already had a plan. Summoning upon the powers of his ancestry once again he flicked his wrists which caused the guantlets to shatter into snow and begin to spiral around him, continuing on using his Cryokinesis he started to break apart the ice that was once the other two spells.

When that was done all that could be seen was a swirling mass of snow, and just when it was ready,is when Kihia was as well. “The fact I went through that spell once… already taught me how to help counter it… you can thank Sandor for that one…” Hoping the banter would buy him some time he thrust both his hands forward and the mass of snow followed suit blowing down the hallway in a massive white out that lasted seemingly for a minute. May the Master forgive the destruction of his favorite trickery hall.. As he did this he began his actual attack, using the last bit of his cryokinises he formed a ring of snow that condensed down into a ring of ice and took a deep breath, and began a spell fusion like no other, “From the Piercing Storm of Spears and the Holy Call of the Angel… Frozen Angels Piercing CALL!!! He then Lurched his head forward as a Giant typhoon of snow and ice joined with the snowstorm he manipulated, however at the same time eighteen ice spears shot from the ring and flew with the tip of the typhoon matching is spin as it barreled down the hallway, tearing apart the marble walls as it went.

No matter if this attack hit. He would put his left foot back and adopt a defensive stance, ready to act as soon as the snow settles.

Ukan grunted in approval when Sandor had somehow been blown back from his breath attack, he lowered his head and readied himself to charge when a metal pole formed in Sandors hand as he charged before Ukan could. Ukan tensed and tried to jump up and out of the way… however the poor anatomical fact of being a wyvern or any heavy four legged creature with a long tail, is that said tail tends to lag behind its owner as they move and this blight indeed had taken place that evening. The pole connected with Ukan’s tail firmly attaching itself to his tail, which caused Ukan to be caught off guard when he was being swung upside down and onto his back right around the area Verona and Enola had been standing. The impact would let out a massive thud and cracking sound as numerous cracks formed in the floor.

However Ukan quickly recovered his fighting mentality and quickly rolled over whipping his tail very quickly to the side attempting to either return the favor to Sandor or yank the pole out of his grasp at the same time, he would face Ali and roar as the crown on his head began to glow, a second after this a sphere of cryogenic magical energy would form and shoot out straight at Ali, hoping to use the immaterial spell to hit the elusive Genie.

Whether or not either move was successful Ukan would attempt to spin around further and try and bite Sandor with his gaping maw attempting to atleast pin him long enough that Verona and Enola could act.

A lot of clunking and clanging could be heard from one of the corridors off of the area where Kihia stood. After a second or so, a soaked Rin padded into the chamber where Gwhard and Kihia were fighting - "Uhhh yeah I sorta got swept the wrong way..." He appeared to have assorted washing and cleaning equipment, which he hastily took off as Kihia unleashed a massive barrage of icicles at the vampire-looking guy.

Once the burdens were sufficiently removed from Rintaro's person, the young man stood upright and looked around gingerly. "Oh right, fighting.." he whispered to himself. In reality, Rin had never actually faced off against another mage and hence was pretty nervous to say the least. He quickly held his hands out in front of him, outstretched with palms facing towards the enemy. With no delay and  no words, the lunar mage cast a lancing beam of purest white energy from the space  between his hands at the pulsating curtain of black that Kihia's icicles were racing towards.

Totally distracted by the sudden appearance of a horrific looking hydra, and a shockingly familiar face that summoned it, Xavier felt a little bit of inspiration for once. (Take that Kihia) He fist pumped as he saw Okeanos suffering slightly from that blow, but his victory was short lived as a trident came slicing at his mid-section, cutting a little into the right side of Xavier’s torso, and taking a chunk out of his jacket with it. He winced in pain for a moment and pulled his jacket above the waters to glance at it for a moment and became a little more furious “You piece of crap! Tailoring was extra!”

Xavier knew Talen could do a serious number on this guy, but with Okeanos focusing on him it wouldn’t be too easy, so he planned to draw his attention, and he would need a little bit of assistance on this one. He whistled to Ni-Ju and assuming he got his attention he cheerfully shouted. “I’ve got the sonic if you’ve got the boom!” He was referencing their combo they’ve pulled off once before. Clapping his hand and pulling them apart forming a orb of lightning. Through this whole process he reminded himself to keep his arms way above the water. Reeling his arm back like a pitch, he threw this orb at Okeanos’s general chest area, even if it didn’t entirely reach him it would still put a bit of dent in something, and he only needed it to get close for Ni-Ju to elaborate.

Ni-Ju thanked the heavens that more help had arrived in the form of Talen and the colossal creature he had summoned to bring Okeanos his just desserts. Those thanks proved short lived as Okeanos took Talen's arrival a bit differently and decided to kick it up a notch. The man chose Xavier as his first target and hurled a cyclone inducing trident his way which grazed the young mage but left him for the most part unharmed. Knowing what was likely to follow, Ni-Ju stopped kicking against the current and let it take him closer to the center of the room, causing the second of Okeanos's thrown tridents to miss him by several feet. Ni-Ju shuddered to think what a direct hit from one of those things would have done to someone of his size. Still not finished with his display of power and in need of some form of defence against the great hydra that attacked him, Okeanos resorted to a little summoning of his own. The tentacled beast he brought forth from his conjured magic circle immediately began latching onto the hydra's many necks and a great struggle between the two ensued.

The hazardous thrashing of the great beasts did wonders to counteract the pull of the whirlpool but brought an easily discernible drawback of their own.  From across the room Ni-Ju heard a shrill whistle and turned as best he could to see Xavier, looking as if he were up to something. The young mage then shouted something at Ni-Ju that was lost to his ears as a small movement from the hydra sent water crashing over his head. Despite the water Ni-Ju recognized what Xavier intended as soon as he saw the young man clap. From what he was guessing Xavier intended for their combo attack to give Talen an opening. Well if that was the intention then he would get the best damn opening possible. Waiting until the sphere got just within range, Ni-Ju detonated his companion's lightning attack and then added on a follow up of his own. Choosing his targets quickly and carefully, Ni-Ju unleashed a hellish series of nearly instantaneous detonations upon their opponent. First a micro'ed Air centered next to the target's head then a macro'ed metal detonation of the metal dust swirling in the water at the target's feet due to his earlier attempts and finally finishing up with a macro'ed water detonation centered on the flying droplets resulting from the metal detonation.

Talen was both annoyed and surprised when his metallic opponent summoned a creature that looked like an enormous squid, or was it an octopus, Talen was not sure. Although it may of looked like Hydra was at a disadvantage due to being in water, the summoner knew that it would take a lot more then that for the beast to be definite. Trusting in his spirit, Talen turned his attention back to his main foe.

As Talen tried to think of another plan of attack, the mage saw Xavier and Ni-Ju preform an impressive combo, creating a large explosion around the golden armored mage. Seeing this as an opportunity for an attack, Talen reached for his spirit keys once again and raised another silver one. "Gate of the Box, I Open Thee, Pandora!" A Celestial Spirit gate opened above Talen and a spirit who looked like a little girl fell out onto the summoners head, submerging his for a moment.

"I take it it's my turn to fight little brother," the spirit said in some what anxious voice. Talen nodded as he struggled to tread water with the extra weight. "I need you to take down the golden man over there." "But what about Hydra, he look to be in trouble?" "I'm sure he can handle that squid thing." "Alright, lets do this, Open the Box, Eruption!" Pandora opened the black box that she was holding and a blast of heat and magma shot towards the gold clad mage with surprising force.

Hydra was caught of guard as he tried to eat the small golden man, but instead was attacked by a large squid. Before Hydra had time to react the squid warped its tentacles around each of his necks. At first the beast was to confused as each of his heads tried to react separately, trying in vain to bite the tentacles around their necks, but soon all of the heads realized what they should do and started to work together, attacking the tentacles around the other necks, trying to free the as many necks as possible.

Post by Verona Stone 29th March 2015, 10:51 am

"I knew I had some clear reasons for hating that oversized bulldog!" Verona cried, rapidly moving backwards while watching Ukan being swung down to where she and Enola was. From the force of Sandor's swing coupled with Ukan's own weight, Verona knew one thing for certain. She didn't want to be under the giant wyvern when it would finally hit the sand covered ground. But just when she felt moving out of the way was the only option, Verona's usually messed up mind came up with a plan and she stopped moving backwards. At that moment, the spot where she stopped at was right around where the back of Ukan's head would hit, according to her calculations. And if she could just time it right...

The dark pink haired girl began counting in her head. She placed her hands on both of her knees and started pushing her heels off the ground, then bringing it back down before pushing it back up again. It was quite obvious that she was getting ready to jump. The picture of what she was about to do flashed across her eyes. Verona knew how reckless it would be. But when had she ever ran away?

Confidence, pride and faith were clearly painting her lips when it moved up into a grin. Ukan's rough scaly back was what hit the ground first which had an earthquake like effect. Verona felt the rumbling power penetrate her toes and climb up to her whole body. But she immediate shook it off and before the ground she was standing on could give away or make her completely lose her footing, Verona jumped, as high as her body could take her. Fortunately, she had timed it right and was able to get a hold of the back of Ukan's head. His scales helped her from slipping down though she was more or less hanging from his head at that time. It took a great deal of effort and struggle against the gravity and wind for Verona to keep her hold on the giant thing. Once he would roll over and she would reach the plain of his head where she can stand up, Verona would stumble a little first but would catch herself and start running down his head, making sure she made no wrong moves with her feet. Finally, when she would succeed in getting to Ukan's tail, Verona would let herself slide down it.

"For once, work with me, Ukan!"

With Sandor below her, Verona would position her hands, fire quickly circling her body and finally forming into the head of a huge dragon with noticeable fangs. She would then send the attack directly towards Sandor, attempting to hit him directly with it. If she failed, however, she would hope for Ukan to have some plan in saving her.

Post by Guest 29th March 2015, 1:29 pm

I'm beginning to think Mr. Ukan has it out for me...

Staring with eyes as wide as the moon, Enola looked in disbelief as Ukan’s massive frame came tumbling down. As his shadow covered the duo, Verona backed away but Enola simply stood there with her eyes close tight. Her body and clothes began to change, turning greyish as flakes of dust fell off of her.

    Woosh!

The impact of Ukan’s body caused the room to vibrate and kicked up sand in every direction, as if a meteor had just landed in a desert.  Whilst Verona managed to slip out from the fall, it would have seemed that Enola had been crushed flat by the wyvern. In truth, however, she had shifted her form into that of a dust cloud and had slipped out from under Ukan before he made touchdown. The cloud of dust whipped through the sand at a surprising speed, though it would have been difficult to notice through the bits of sand hanging in the air. When the dust cloud reached one of the sides of the room, it came together and expanded to form a humanoid shape. In an almost instantaneous process, the cloud began turning into bone, flesh, and clothing until Enola had finally re-materialized. Her body and clothes were still grey and flaky, though she held her spear with both hands in a battle-ready stance.

She looked in awe as Verona formed a dragon’s head made purely of fire. It’s flames ripples in the air, forcing Enola to shudder – she despised fire magic. A large burn mark, covering ten percent of her body, was an epitaph to that reason. The burn mark was ordinarily hidden but the school uniform Sandor had placed them in made it easily visible. Regardless, Enola took a deep breath and held up her spear with a single hand as if she were about to chuck it. Confident in her aim, she took a step forward in the sand and threw the spear with a winding spin toward Sandor. If it were completely successful, it would have pierced through Sandor’s torso, though in an angle that it wouldn’t harm Ukan, around the same as Verona’s  Dragon Fang hit (assuming her spell was successful as well).

Post by Zuo Cii 2nd April 2015, 6:49 am

Okeanos found himself on the shores on Enca. A small child with long purple hair laying on his back stared out at the crashing ocean. The water was dyed red as a giant sea monsters towered above the island nation. The boy however did not look up at the giant monster but rather at the ship wreak at the water's surface. Countless marred corpses floated on the surface and the boy found tears streaming down in his face as he saw his parents among them. His despair and terror were so great that he wanted to turn and flee, but his legs were missing. Torn off him his lower body was floating in the water a few meters away. He was desperately clinging to life but all he could think about were the upturned faces of his slain parents, all the pain he felt was dwarfed by the torrent of terror and loss raging in his heart. Then as the sea serpent looked as if it had noticed Okeanos a massive rock spear flew through the air and pierced the behemoth's head. Then just like that it fell back into the ocean. Okeanos's head rolled back to see who had thrown the spear, his gaze was met by that of a young man. The man dressed in white robes but had black hair that rolled all the way down to his waist and despite appearing quite young he had an exceptionally long beard. "It would appear I am rather late dear child. Don't be afraid boy, you are going to be okay."

Okeanos was shocked back to the present as a ball of lightning exploded in his face. If that didn't throw him off enough suddenly everything else seemed to be exploding. The air, something in the water, and then the water itself Okeanos was tossed around like a rag doll. While not greatly harmed he was greatly disoriented, not even seeing the plume of lava before it crashed into his chest pushing him into the wall. The ocean mage howled in pain as his chestplate melted onto his bare skin. He clenched his fist and the water around him collapsed on the lava rapidly cooling it into rock. The threat removed Okeanos threw aside the resulting hunk of stone. Revealing his bare chest to be hardly burnt. The water mage breathed heavily "Paper beats rock. Water beats magma. Water armor. I can coat my body in water at any time to protect it from heat and fire. It's not my best move and I would have been better off if I dodged but I guess I'm a little off my game." Recovering from the assault he jumped into the air high above the water it was visible for the first time that both of his legs were solid gold, how he moved then like normal legs was anyone's guess, and then he rotated mid-air to face down at the pool of water and the struggle below. He twirled his trident before him "Rains of Turmoil wash away the stains of time!" from his whirling trident countless trident-heads of shaped water shot downward attacking the entire room below in a rain of razor sharp water. I thank you for what you did back then. But now things are different. For your crimes I swear I will kill you. Okeanos's attack had two-fold purpose, the first obvious being to injure his foes below and the second was to ensure the kraken's victory. While the kraken was struggling to control the hydra the rain of blades would be it's salvation. The water hitting it's skin would be rapidly absorbed returning strength to the great squid as it fought with renewed fervor to strangle the hydra. The gist of the plan was to injure the hydra while healing the kraken, for those who didn't make the connection.

A small boy clad in black robes plunged his knife into the heart of a wealthy merchant. The blood trickled onto the sand of Desierto as the young bandit looked from his victim to the wagon of goods he had been transporting. Before he could take a step forward he was blasted by a surge of water being knocked clean off his feet. Higher priorities in mind then whatever attacked him Sandor began desperately trying to drink the water left on him by the attack. Okeanos, now a grown man clad in gold threaded desert robes looked down at the pathetic boy before him. "Now that is hardly any way to go about getting food young man." Sandor looked up at him "Give me more water asshole." The same white robed man, who had apparently not aged a day, that had saved Okeanos on Enca years before walked up and kneeled by Sandor "Come with me and you shall have all the water you desire."

Now centuries older Sandor found himself staring down a flaming dragon head "That's new." As the flaming blast collided with him  his body exploded into a cloud of sand. At this moment Enola's spear would fly harmlessly through the scattered sand particles. In the same way that Ukan's ice blast would pass harmlessly through Ali before exploding on the wall behind him. Sandor reformed as Ali laughed "Poor fool. Djinn are not of this world. We cannot be so much as touched by your magic no matter it's nature." Sandor reformed from the sand apparently unphased by the attacks launched at him. He rolled his shoulders "Alright that was fun but I should wrap things up now. Ali you still have the juice for one more spell right? Gimme my third wish." Ali sighed "Always the same with you. Why don't you do something original for a change?" Sandor groaned "Shut up." Ali didn't reply but snapped his fingers and in a poof of smoke two more Sandors appeared on either side of the original. I wouldn't have ever thought it back then when I could barely get enough to stay alive. But now I know too much water makes you sick. Now pay old man, pay for what you've done. To his left one Sandor jumped at Verona "Trust me girl you want this to hit you. It's better then sticking around." He extended his gloved palm at her unleashing a blast of sand that if it hit would send her flying across the room. The Sandor clone would then go up in smoke. Regardless of if Verona was hit the middle-real Sandor would stomp his foot launching himself above Ukan on a plume of sand. He crossed his arms in front of himself "Desert Girasole!" The sound on the ground below Ukan would suddenly upturn under his feet jumping up in an effort to swallow him in a tomb of sand before dragging him under the earth. If the girasole was able to trap him underground the sand would pulverize the wyvern with extreme force before spitting it back out into the room above. If Verona dodged the Sandor-Clone's attack she risked getting caught in the attack as well. Enola would be personally addressed by the right-side clone that would charge her with his arms extended "Rock beats scissors. Sand beats dust." The clone tried to tackle Enola turning into a mass of sand trying to encase her "Sand Coffin!" If he was able to trap her Sandor would completely immobilize her before trying to crush the life out of her.

Gwahard was surprised to see his black holes turned to ice "That's impossible. My black holes aren't material. It's not a matter of them being indestructible or something it's that they are immaterial. That's like trying to punch space. It doesn't work! The darkness mage bared his fangs "Damn divine magic. Always breaking the rules. I should have know the old geezer would protect himself with something like this." Gwahard didn't even try to dodge the ice blast that Kihia unleashed. The shadow mage was thrown all the way to the end of the labyrinth smashing into the back wall. He stood up and stretched a little. He looked a little scrapped up but not greatly injured and as such he charged Kihia completely oblivious to the arrival of Rintaro, "It doesn't matter what you try I'll end this all right here and now! Executioner!" Reaching close range Gwahard would jump above Kihia, tucking one leg to his chest while extending the other. The extended leg seemed to become a blade of darkness that sliced through the air as Gwahard aimed a flip kick at Kihia's neck. With this I kill your final ally pops. Not even that person is on your side anymore. Once this ice brat hits the ground you will be all alone. After all surely there is no way Sandor and Okeanos have yet to kill the rest of the guild. Now the road to your death is paved Zuo Cii. Scissors beats paper. Darkness consumes all.

Post by Kihia 3rd April 2015, 4:39 pm

Kihia stood there for a moment, as the words Gwahard had said reached him after his massive spell hit home, “The Ice I use to freeze with, is not divine or dark in nature… it stems from the coldest forces in this world… so cold… that magic power itself freezes within the spells…” Kihia nodded as he waited for the snow to settle from his spell. When Suddenly Gwahard lunged out of the snow cloud, he had said, "It doesn't matter what you try I'll end this all right here and now! Executioner!" Kihia immediately started to move to try and avoid his head from being cut off, he started to turn to his right and go to roll out of the way, however the blade of darkness surely hit him as he rolled into a snow cloud for cover.

He knelt there for a moment, perfectly still, anyone watching this would think the Frozen Knight had finally been done in, the blade of darkness sliced right through both his armored trench coat and Ikaro Armor, right across his back diagonally along the length of Icarus. Kihia however, was not done in, in fact far from it, his amulet gently glowed as the wound on his back started to be subtly covered up by a thin layer of ice. He gritted his teeth as one hand on the ground curled up into a fist, he then whispered, “Heavenly Spires…” Three trails of ice went from his arm and headed towards Gwarhard, one trail stopped two meters away from Kihia, another two meters further. The last trail sped past Gwahard and stopped in between him and Rintaro, then they suddenly expanded and large eight meter tall spires of ice erupted from the ice sheets forming a barrier that filled the width and height of the ruined hallway as well as closed Gwahard off from Rintaro and Kihia. Kihia then called out, “Rintaro… If you can hear me… get out of the Laberynth now… For from this point on… I cannot promise I will be able to protect you…” As he said this the snow around him started to seemingly shake, the air around him started getting charged with magical power as his hair started to flow as if a strong wind was blowing through the area, “It is apparent to me I can no longer hold back… I apologize to you… my brothers and sisters… for not doing this sooner…” As he finished those words, Kihia started to radiate a light blue light, at first it only just barely shown off him, but then grew into a full on magical aura that dramatically dropped the air temperature…

Rintaro looked on in awe as Gwahard was flung like a ragdoll against the wall and whistled lightly. A second later, as Kihia's neck nearly lost an end, his whistle stopped and the young man started dashing over to his ally. Before he could make it anywhere close to the Frozen Knight - not even out of the shadows - the Lunar Mage's eyes widened as the Executioner gashed his superior's side. Stopping dead in his tracks, the recruit stood, silent and amazed as Kihia shrugged off the blow that would have been fatal to a normal man.

With a single step forward, the sound carrying in the calm just before the massive rush of ice that erupted from Kihia's hand. 'Colour me impressed.' the onlooker mused, before taking the guise of a statue as he listened to the A-Rank mage's words. In response, he spoke just enough for Kihia to hear him "Don't worry about me, you need all your concentration.." Despite the warning and sudden shaking of the ground, Rintaro stood his ground.

There was no way he'd be able to find his way out of the Labyrinth by himself. Having taken about five minutes to track Kihia's voice from wherever he was initially washed to - it seemed it'd take too long to escape. Besides, he signed up for a guild. Not exactly the safest profession to follow. 'Just in case, it'd probably be best to call my contact.' Rin decided after a moment. With that he whispered gently 'I call upon my deathly god, assist me now.

Xavier cringed for a moment, as he watched the rain of deadly objects fall from above looming with the promise of pain and they came dangerously close to the child before he was suddenly covered, and shaded from the attack and the light above. A friendly and familiar sight, his spectre-like friends had reappeared from thin air, in the same fashion he had when he first met them. One carried a shield, and standing taller than Xavier, easily covered the three of them from attacks as it expanded to ludicrous size, unfortunately he was too far from the others to provide them protection as well. The water tridents hitting the shield sounded like hail on a car, but he waited for the volley to subside before lowering his guard while they held on tight to each other. When it was finally over, the spectre lifted his two companions up and placed them on his downward facing shield, using it as a raft, before climbing aboard himself. “That was a nice volley, now let show you a real one!” He taunted. His other spectre like friend removed a longbow from his back, and an magic quiver seemed to float near it, while it knocked eight arrows simultaneously. He pointed his finger at the metal-man like a gun, and preceded to shout, “Lightning Dragon: Gatling Gun!” and I assume you can manage what happens next. As the shots rang out, the spectre loosed his arrows at Okeanos, and the other spectre was steering them closer to Ni-Ju in attempt to pull him out of the water.

    It pains me to see,
    You in pursuit of me.
Deep inside you know it's not right.

    But it's fine,
    Because I have the courage,
    To stand and fight.

Holding back for now, Xavier hasn't yet unleashed any of his more powerful spells quite yet, and it bothered him to do so, but he knew he'd need his reserve strength for later on in the fight if he managed to get that far. He was doing well so far, but it might no last for long.

(I'm tempted to be cool and call upon flashbacks form the past relevant to the situation myself, but perhaps later.)

Ni-Ju grudgingly had to give it to this guy. Okeanos had shrugged off a series of attacks from the three Lamia Scale mages that by all rights could have reduced a sizable area to naught but ash and slag. Never before had Ni-Ju mourned the loss of his Eternano sight quite so much until that very moment. At the very least he could have given an accurate estimate of their enemy's magical strength in order to formulate a workable plan. His thoughts on the matter were brought to a quick close as Okeanos unleashed a devastating rain of razer sharp solidified water projectiles that sent Ni-Ju once again literally diving for cover. Unfortunately he wasn't quite fast enough this time, as one of the watery tridents plunged directly into his back, driving the air from Ni-Ju's lungs and sending him sputtering to the surface, gasping for air. The situation was becoming more and more untenable by the moment for Ni-Ju but he remained calm. Losing his head wouldn't help him or anyone else get through this intact . Judging purely by the slowly spreading cloud of red surrounding him and and the fact that his left arm would no longer move at all, that last attack must have hit something important. Cursing Okeanos under his breath to every god that would listen, Ni-Ju struggled to remain afloat. Settling into a dead mans float that saved energy but seemed to dunk him with every thrash from the huge creatures continued bout Ni-Ju barely noticed the outstretched arm that began to pull him out of the water.

Talen was excited when Pandora's attack hit the golden target, however he was a little disappointed when it did little to no damage. As Talen watched Okeanos rise to the top of the room before unleashing a hail of watery missiles, he tried to think of a way out. He could summon Talos, but that would send both Pandora and Hydra back to the spirit realm. He could also use hydra to block the attack, but he would never stoop that low. This only one option for Talen. He grabbed Pandora from on top of his head and put her under him, submerging her under the water, and brased himself for the incoming attack. Talen clenched his teeth as three of the water blades cut into him, two were shallow, two minor cuts to his legs, and one significently deeper on his back.

As Talen lifted Pandora out of the water once again, she sputtered as she yelled somewhat incoherently at Talen. "Cough, cough... WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!"  "You know I won't let you get hurt," "WE protect YOU not the other way around!" "Plus, if I'm alone with him he would kick my butt." Pandora gave Talen an annoyed look before rolling her eyes and saying, "just get me closer to him"

Talen swan as fast as he could and until he was closer to Okeanos then the two members of Clustering Wishes. Putting her hand to top of her box, Pandora said, "lets see how you handle this, Open the box, Swarm!" Pandora opened the box and a huge swarm of insects flew out of the box, they buzzed loudly and started to fly toward Okeanos, forming a rough 3 meter sphere around the golden mage. The bugs started bitting every part of Okeanos that was exposed and started to crawl into every crevice of the armor.

Hydra was not doing to well against the Kraken, he had managed to deal some damage but so had the beast. As hydra continued to bite and tare at the the Krakens tentacles, he started to feel sharp pain all over his body, and on top of that it felt as though the Kraken was regaining some of his strength. As the two fought Hydra was barely hanging on, he was exhausted and about to be sent back to the spirit realm.

"Dammit!" Verona hissed when she noticed that she didn't manage to hit the weird sand dude at all. Instead, the guy vanished and reappeared only to launch another attack at both Verona and Ukan. Just as the clone on the left jumped up and unleashed an attack on her, Verona noticed, from the corner of her eyes that Ukan had jumped up. Her eyes widened when she understood that Ukan intented to swallow her and before she could react, she was inside his mouth, holding on to the back of one of his teeth.

Ukan groaned and moaned in pain when he felt sand wrapping him up as if swallowing him into an endless abyss. His eyes was tightly shut as he only felt the sand crush him from every possible side. It didn't matter to him as long as he protected Verona but that shot tempered woman was already starting up a fit in his mouth. A small smirk appeared on Ukan's lips as he was suddenly thrown out, quickly losing his consciousness.

Verona suddenly felt everything come to a standstill. Everything was so still that she could literally hear her heart beating faster than normal. "Ukan?" she tried calling for him, hoping she would at least hear the overgrown reptile groan. But silence greeted her and cautiously, Verona decided it was time to come out of his mouth. By the time she managed to force his mouth open and stumble out, Verona was covered in....something she would like to call as slime. She scrunched her nose and made a disgusted face before turning back, intending to give Ukan a piece of her mind.

Honestly, Verona wasn't expecting to find Ukan unconscious on the ground. Her eyes were fixed at the closed eyes of the wyvern before something rushed into her. Rage, regret, guilt, hate and love. The feelings took over the extra sensitive Verona as she finally realized what Ukan was trying to do. Her eyes glowed red. Her body suddenly started giving off unbearable heat, coating her with a thin red aura. The Dragon Slayer's gaze darted over to Sandor, her red orbs taking the majestic yet spine-chilling shape of a dragon's fiery eyes.  There was a sudden increase in power that she couldn't quite understand herself. Before she knew it, she had jumped up in the air.

Her body spun around and came down with violent force. Verona's feet landed harshly on the sand covered ground. "Fire Dragon: Fire Lotus!" She would roar as a magic circle would form right under Sandor with him in the middle of it. Soon, a large lotus like flower made of fire would form around Sandor and rapidly close up to trap him inside unless he escaped somehow. When it finally closes up, the flower would explode, covering the ground around the place Sandor stood in burning fire. "I'll Kill You!"

Enola grinded her teeth while she watched her spear slap through the sand and hit the opposing side of the room with a snap. Her attack had not only failed but her precious feather dust had snapped in half, the truest tragedy of the evening. Still, the sight was rather ironic – Sandor turning into sand. Enola had ignorantly assumed she had cornered the market on turning into a sprinkly substance but the maniac in robes had proved otherwise. Enola took a second to wonder if he ever found sand in his undergarments just as she found dust in hers, but snapped back into a normal train of thought when Sandor made more of himself. Quantity, possibly the only advantage they possessed, now died with their chances of any easy victory.

Enola braced herself for another round of combat but jerked her head when she saw Ukan and Verona swallowed by the sand. With that, a sharp sense of worry overcame Enola as she could only assume the worst, a rare occurrence for her. The maid was about to call out to her companions, as if it would do any good, but Sandor’s clone attracted her attention back by taunting her about sand’s superiority over dust. That was just a low blow. Enola, sour faced by all that had just occurred, begin shifting her body into a dust cloud. Her confidence told her that a frontal assault was no problem; she was quite wrong. The sand coffin caught the dust cloud like a pocket and forced her back into her physical form. Her trump card, Dust to Dust, had failed her.

The sand didn’t feel so soft. No, it felt hard and heavy. In fact, Enola felt the sand beginning to constrict and crush her. It was light a light pressure at first but it quickly built up into an intolerable pain, as if her entire body was being choked by a giant hand. She couldn’t move an inch of her body, not even her chest to breath. Her bones started to feel brittle and Enola wasn’t sure but she thought a rib had cracked. She tried to scream in pain but her mouth could not open, resulting in a low groan. A small sliver of blood dripped out of the corner of her mouth as well as a few tears from her eyes, though the sand coffin kept any of it from dropping out.

There was no room for any of the usual optimism. Enola felt certain she would die if the spell did not end soon.

Some time predating the Fiore Calendar:
Gwahard was quite pleased with himself. It was the perfect trap really. He looked up at the large statue of Gaia before him and the water fall that fell from the roof of the cavern that crashed down on the old man bound in out-landishly huge chains to the stone statue. "Like my cage old man? I know you're weak to water so the waterfall wasn't any piece of genius. I'm more proud of the statue of Gaia bit. One of the four cornerstones of the world that you are sworn to protect and now you are physical bound to it. The chains are too strong for you to break in your current state, I had a master smith of Ca=Elum make sure of that and you can't break them off the statue without risk of destroying it. This is good even for me. Don't tell me you aren't impressed Zuo." Zuo looked up from under the pouring water but he was different from the Zuo known by the mages of Lamia Scale. He was still old but his hair was black and fell down to waist instead of being suspended in a physics defying hair pillar. "Stop while you can Gwahard. There is no way you can defeat all of the others." "Maybe not but almost all of them are on my side now. Thanks to this power I acquired in Sin." A man clad in black robes, Sandor, charged into the cavern holding his golden lamp "Yeah you got the lower rungs. But you didn't grab the three that really count. Me, Okeanos and Vent are going to kick your ass!" Gwahard turned to face Sandor and spread his arms wide "Oh yes the eldest three. Naturally I couldn't possibly beat all three of you. But tell me Sandor where are your older brothers?" Sandor rubbed his lamp releasing a plume of red smoke from it's nozzle "They'll be here. But I'll mop the floor with your first." Gwahard smiled a fanged smile "Of course you will."

    Present Day:

Sandor was shocked back to the present as he was engulfed in an explosion of fire. He mentally scolded himself for getting distracted. When the blaze cleared his robes were burned to dust leaving him in nothing but, thankfully fire resistant, black trousers. The sand mage's torso was covered in countless laceration scars that honestly made him look like had gone through a wood chipper"I've fought monsters you wouldn't believe existed. I've walked this earth hundreds of years defending it as the embodiment of time, the force of aging, erosion and I won't be brought down by a little dragons spit fire." He quickly pointed his lamp at Verona "Writhe like the infant you are. Djinn Cannon!" The barrel of the lamp unleashed a blast of golden light at the dragon slayer that burned with otherworldly energy. Regardless of it hit or not the blast would continue all the way through the guild wall before colliding with the dome of darkness outside. Quite accidentally the blast would scatter the sand binding Enola without hitting her. Good job sand god dude, breaking your own traps and you couldn't even hit the person stuck in it.

Okeanos wasn't having a much better day. Lightning guns, magic arrows, locusts and wait where did that one kid go? On the defensive he deflected the spectral arrows with his trident with his free hand created a water wall between him and Xavier that quickly froze over blocking the lightning shots. But puddleboy underestimated the speed of the locust and quickly found himself caught in a swarm of pestilential insects. "Damn bugs! Hydro Armor!" Much like he countered the lava attack Okeanos drenched himself in water washing away the locust, wetting their wings to drop them like flies. He yelled in frustration "I am the second eldest of the guardians. I am Okeanos of the Sea! I will not allow you land hugging weaklings another second of life! Immortal Slaying Trident Shine Thy Cruel Light Upon The World Below Turn To Ash That Which Is Unworthy:  Primordial Sea!" Okeanos's trident began to shine a blinding light but it stopped abruptly as the master of the trident appeared bound in chains of darkness. Gwahard's voice echoed in the room "Control yourself Okeanos. Save it. The same goes for you Sandor, don't you dare try and use Ground Death. At least before the old man showed up." The chains relaxed but Okeanos seemed no more calm "I've had it! I will no longer tolerate this battle." Enraged by being constantly attacked the water mage fired a beam of golden light into the water below "Empty Ocean!" The water would glow golden for a few seconds as it's viscosity rapidly evaporated. "Humans can swim because I allow them. Now experience a world in which even a professional swimmer will sink like a rock. Struggle as you may it is of no use, no matter how much you struggle or flail you will not be able to stay afloat in this water. So drown and die." By the time the glowing passed the water would be physics defying thin, not even a feather could float on it.

Gwahard was disappointed that Kihia had survived but found some satisfaction in his struggle to protect Rintaro. Naturally as an entity of darkness Rintaro's hiding was as good as standing in the spot light to Gwahard, he allowed him to remain out of sight only because he didn't need to kill him yet. "I can feel you're trying to power yourself up Kihia. You are probably going to try and make some crazy ice device to defeat me. But I'll save you the trouble and tell you how this ends. It won't work. Your attack won't even come near me, rather it's more likely you will kill that boy over there then you will me." That grim prophecy said Gwahard melted into darkness, he stepped out of the shadows of the labyrnth now on the other side of the ice walls and flicked his wrist as chains of blackness erupted from his sleeves and shot at Kihia weaving around his icicle shield. "Become my puppet Frozen Knight. Know the terror of fighting the Master of Men in battle." Should the chains hit their target they would bury themselves into Kihia, and well there wouldn't be much anything Kihia could do for himself after that.

At the same time outside the dome an acient man rose from the earth. Zuo Cii looked at the darkness around his guild "My my. It appears the darkness is omni-directional. There is no way in." He clenched his fists and grit his teeth "I don't care." The geezer's century old fist collided with the dome of darkness with a clap like thunder and like it was made of glass it shattered instantly. Zuo strolled in through the front doors as Sandor's blast of golden magic faded. "Now Sandor you've made yourself quite a mess of my home. I do hope you are ready to face the music now. As for my loyal guild members have no fear for I have come."

Post by Kihia 18th April 2015, 1:16 pm

During the time Kihia had been charging he had carefully pulled his arms out of the sleeves of his trench coat, the magical aura around him was radiating light now, so much his own ice around him started to resonate from the magical pressure he was emitting. He then heard the steps of Gwahard as well as the words he said and grunted in response. Kihia then reacted in that instant using his fast reflexes to grab onto Icarus with his right hand and yank both the trench coat and Icarus of his back. Icarus came out of its sheath completely while the trench coat missed the chains as they weaved around it, Kihia’s expression darkened as he extended out his left hand focusing on the chains. They then suddenly completely turned into ice all the way up to Gwarhard.

At that moment Kihia’s own magical power finally peaked, as Kihia glared at Gwahard, “You dared to attack my home… a place, where I the Frozen Knight… has pledged to protect! Now by my ancestry you shall fall!” Kihia then stood up as his magic power wrapped around him, he grabbed Icarus with both of his hands and angled one end down a little, a stance with the intention to pierce, “Ice Make Knight!” The magic power then rapidly condensed back onto Kihia has a full set of Ice armor rapidly formed on him as well as a glaive blade made out of ice on Icarus, finishing within a second Kihia then braced himself and then pushed off, breaking through the frozen chains straight for Gwahard, within two seconds Kihia managed to get right in front of his adversary. At that Second Kihia let go of Icarus with his right hand and went to deliver a powerful upper cut to Gwahards Chest. “You Will not succeed in defeating me!”

If this attack managed to hit home, Kihia would then jump up, using his enhanced strength and speed to Launch Gwahard upward and potentially forming a crater in the ceiling, He would the attempt to jump up himself and try and send the glaive blade of Icarus through his right shoulder.

However if Gwahard manages to avoid the punch, Kihia would carry through with his own momentum to spin around Gwahard and crash into the ice spire behind him causing the entire spire to shatter.

Ni-Ju faintly heard as Okeanos launched into a full on rage and set loose the spell that was sure to cause his immediate doom. Fate seemed to echo his thoughts, as the hand towing him in lost it's grip and he began to sink like a stone. His faint attempts to remain afloat were laughable at best and the water quickly claimed him. Strangely enough, his trip downward wasn't much like the sinking he had experienced at all. In fact it was more akin to falling through a thin cloud. Falling very quickly through a thin cloud with only the hard ground to look forward to. With no time to weigh out the consequences of repeating one of the dumbest actions he had ever had the misfortune to pull off, Ni-Ju covered his vital bits as well as he could and aimed a micro earth detonation for his landing spot. The resulting explosion sent Ni-Ju rocketing upward like a character from a children's cartoon series, launching him out of the water and directly towards the marble dome that made up the roof.

For a few brief moments Ni-Ju actually felt just a little bit relieved, that was, until he came into sudden contact with the roof. He actually hit so hard that the stylized geometrical shapes that had been lightly patterned into the dome had reproduced themselves in mirror format across the side of his face, like some sort of barely visible tattoo. Despite the fact that Ni-Ju's desperate move had kept him alive for a little while longer, it had done nothing to make his situation any better. He had no means of landing that would keep him from becoming a stain on the bottom of the arena floor due to whatever spell Okeanos had worked on the water that filled the room, that combined with the wounds he had received, left Ni-Ju with pretty much no options left to him, short of someone else's timely intervention in the matter. Filled with the certainty that his friends and guild mates would avenge him should this be the end, Ni-Ju closed his eyes and waited for whatever would happen to happen.

While Xavier’s spectral guardians tried to help Ni-Ju to their little piece of safety on the terrifying current of a madman, Okeanos began to recite something that sounded very unfriendly indeed. The water beneath their little shield began to glow a golden color, and with Xavier’s experience he simply knows that when magic is involved, avoid anything obvious. As Ni-Ju’s hand slipped from their grasp, Xavier leapt from their little raft and cast a spell that he never imagine he would use in such a manner. “Lightning Dragon’s Claws.” he said under his breath, as dagger sharp extensions grew from his fingertips, another odd manifestation of lightning he created. He dug his hand deep into the marble lining the dome of the area and when he finally got a good holding of the wall he settled.

Turning around to face what was to come he only just saw Ni-Ju as he fell from the ceiling, and his two specters submerged in the water, stacked atop one another in an attempt to catch the falling kid, which might be in vain. He didn’t have the heart to keep looking at the scene before him and instead faced Okeanos with a look of pure hatred in his eyes.
“If you think I’m going to stay here and let you snuff out the lives of my friends like some puny candle, your dead wrong. These people, this entire GUILD is everything to me! I didn’t have a place of my own, or people to turn to long ago, but they changed that, without even giving it a second thought. I don’t what kind of person would condemn such a place, but I’ll tear every last one of them down! FACE ME!!” Xavier kicked off the wall, his anger seemed to empower his movements as he darted through the air to attack the metal man. “Lightning Dragon’s Talon!” He made for an aerial kick aimed at his head on the first pass, then caught himself on the wall before repeating himself two, aiming his next attacks at his legs. If any of these attacks were blocked or missed, he would still continue to the best of his ability. He finally crashed to the opposite side of the dome and shouted before leaping at their assailant. “I’ll make you suffer the same fate! Lightning Dragon: Wing Attack!” His arms generated a great power, and electricity flowed from his arms like massive wings which he brought down upon Okeanos with the intent to submerge him in his own water.

Verona wasn't done with the sand guy yet. The large fire lotus like flower beautifully closed in on Sandor, engulfing him in burning fire. Her eyes followed the event with a fierce look in her eyes, wishing from the bottom of her heart for the sand spitting idiot to die. Of course, the guy survived the blast with only his clothes getting burned to crisp.

Verona whistled, suddenly feeling amused by the show. Sure, she didn't find the scars on his body all that funny but the situation, however, did crack her up a little. Suddenly, her attention turned to Enola who was struggling with the sands around her  and she was just about to go and help her companion when she heard Sandor initiate another spell.

She turned back to see Sandor holding up his lamp, firing a cannon right at her with it. Her eyes reflected the approaching cannon till she finally got her thoughts pulled together and quickly punched the ground. "Fire Dragon: Fire Punch" she screamed, fire spiraling out of her fist down to the ground. Verona used the spell to help her thrust herself up, narrowly missing the cannon that did manage to hit her shoulder, however. But before she hissed out in pain or complained, Verona came down, landing quite powerfully on the ground and initiating another spell right under Sandor. "Fire Dragon: Fire Pillar" The words would cause a giant pillar of fire to form right under Sandor and trap him within the fire unless Sandor dodges.

Enola fell to the floor under a pile of sand as the pressure finally let up when the golden blast struck it. She waved her hands through the sad, as if swimming in water, until she forced her head up and gasped in a giant breath of air. As soon as the momentary relief of air came to an end, she collapsed to her hands and knees.  She could hardly move – her body felt like it had just been squeezed by an iron crutch. With her breathing continuing in exhaust gasps, Enola looked around and saw Ukan slumped on the ground in an unconscious state. The sight was certainly terrifying; Enola didn’t think anything could put Ukan down, certainly not that robe-less freak. Kihia’s words of wisdom, that these men were the strongest enemies they would have encountered, was no exaggeration. The possibility that these people could kill them was a very real one.

There came with Verona’s actions a certain encouragement. It gave a subtle reminder to Enola that they were to fend off these evil-doers with all their might, no matter how hopeless the situation seemed. Courage, after all, was one of the precepts of the guild.

With a wobble and an eerie smile, Enola raised a tired, shaking hand upward. A ball of dust began forming above, rolling up into a large ball until it shifted its shape into that of a giant angel made completely of coagulated dust. The quite large figure spread its wings as if it were asking for a fight and barreled past Verona and toward Sandor. The angel, resistant to fire, would attempt to strike Sandor from above, though would likely take some of the damage of the pillar in the process.

Gwahard laughed like an asshole. He held the bloodied now limp body of Sandor by his throat before throwing him at the wall of the cavern. Gwahard didn't even seem hurt or tired. Zuo growled "You dare harm your own brother so?!" The dark mage flashed his fangs at his elder "Come on don't give me that crap. Sandor would have done the same to me if he could." There was a sound of metal clicking on ground "As I will do to you, imp." Arrogant as a Greek god Okeanos entered the cavern Trident in hand "Say your prayers Gwahard and hope Gaia will hear you. For unlike Sandor I don't lose." Gwahard popped his knuckles "Did you not learn from sandy over there? You should have waited for big bro to get here." Okeanos twirled his trident and walked forward with a smug smile on his face "Oh please. You're stronger then you were before that's obvious. But there will never be a day when I need to fear my little brother of all people."

Sandor pretty much let Verona's fire attacks hit him. He grit his teeth through the fire "Damn kid. I don't have time for this." Undetered Sandor walked out of the fiery assault only to get stuck in the head by the dust angel. He was knocked fast first into the ground but quickly got back to his feet "Seriously screw you dust girl. I was trying to look cool!" Zuo walked out in front of Verona and Enola "I fear I'm being over shadowed by my own guild members. You've both done well but Sandor here is a much better match for myself, you have done incredibly well considering the power difference." Sandor barked at Zuo "Shut it geezer. We're going to bury everyone here alive!" The earth began to shake and Zuo clapped his hands "Sandor my son I must say I am terribly ashamed of you. I can see your mind is not you own but that was probably the worst threat I've ever heard from you." Sandor shrugged "I'd come up with better if I was your opponent." Zuo wasn't sure what he meant by that but paid it no mind and placed his palms on the ground "It doesn't matter what you do now my boy. Be crushed by the earth itself! Rise Earthbound Immortal!"

Down in the arena Okeanos found himself taking a face full of lightning kick getting launched into the ceiling. The impact and shaking from the earth above sent a monumentus amount of rock crumbling down crushing the Hydra and Kraken and trapping Talen all at the same time. Okeanos hardly had time to recover as he was struck by Xavier's lightning wings. However this time the water being refused to be sent flying, rather he withstood the attack remaining unmoving in the air somehow. "I don't know how many times I've said "thats enough" today but that's enough! I have no more time left to play with you worms." Okeanos threw his arms wide "Now watch helpless as a god goes to work. Rules of Nature!" Okeanos seemed to explode in an insane amount of rushing water filling the arena again to full. However drowning was no longer a threat as Okeanos had no intention of staying there rather he controlled the water to borrow into the ceiling above. With the massive water force he was able to smash through into the entry hall in a massive pillar of water directly under Zuo who was violently crashed into the wall of the guild hall by the water. Then as abruptly as the water had flooded the room it retracted vacuuming back to it's source solidifying into Okeanos.

The golden mage now stood next to his ally Sandor(who had miraculously avoided all the water) facing the mages in the entry hall. "About time you did that Okeanos." "You know I was waiting on the old man." Soaked thoroughly Zuo coughed off water and dragged himself to his feet, his past spell cancelled, "Don't let your guards down. That technique was Okeanos's move "Rules of Nature," it dramatically increases the power of his water form. He may be solid now but make no mistake he can unleash that power again in a heart beat." Okeanos pointed his trident at Zuo "You know it and you know better then anyone you are helpless to counter it." "There is more truth to that then I like to admit my children. I am incredibly weak to water. I must ask that you help me once more in fighting these men. I extend that request also to you those down in the arena." Zuo was certainly now less confident then he was going into this. He had hoped to avoid getting wet at all but now Okeanos had gone and hit him with a surprise attack. However a look at Sandor and Okeanos assured him they didn't have a great deal of fight left in them, he hoped.

Gwahard however was content to continue his fight with Kihia. He was however distracted as his telepathic link with his partners made him aware of the rapid change in events. Distracted enough for Kihia's punch to connect knocking him into the ceiling but now with his head back in the game Gwahard nimly rolled out of the way of Icarus. He pushed off the ceiling landing directly in front of Kihia "DIE! Reaper's Scythe!" Gwahard appeared to grab the air before swinging his arm at Kihia as if he was holding an invisible scythe. Which was actually incredibly accurate as that was exactly what he was doing.

Kihia watched as his punch connected against Gwahard and sent him flying into the ceiling, however he frowned underneath his helmet when Gwahard managed to dodge the piercing blow from Icarus, however, Kihia cringed on the inside, for now he was completely open to attack, I am an idiot… This mistake… Will cost me… I won’t be able to avoid this attack… I only pray that this armor… can withstand this blow… and I will… be able to defend the Guild…

At that moment the invisible scythe that Gwahard had wielded impacted the front of Kihia’s chest plate and a resounding boom echoed from the impact, Kihia’s body was pushed up slightly, then Kihia’s eyes widened, as the blade then ripped through the chest plate and hit Kihia’s body. It then ripped upward leaving a deep gash in Kihia’s chest as it sliced all the way through to his helmet, causing a large portion of the faceplate to shatter as Gwahard’s swing finally moved away from Kihia.

Kihia stood there for a long moment, almost as if he was frozen in time, completely shocked from what happened, and also, completely terrified, What… but… how… Kihia then started to fall face first as his blood started to flow out of the armor and down it, that’s when he fell to his knees…

“Please… forgive me everyone… Stay safe… and… survive… please…” Kihia then completed his fall, falling face first onto the marble floor, in a half shocked, half conscious state, and he prayed… that Lamia Scale would remain safe…

Important Re: A matter of some importance

Post by Guest 9th May 2015, 9:20 am

Despite the physical pains, “Dust Girl” managed a chuckle as her angel socked the sand man right in his withered old jaw. It brought her even more comfort to know she and Verona could at least hold their own against an obviously superior mage. Then came that voice that Enola’s ear so happily grasped: the voice of their own crazy old coot, Zuo Cii. Like a teacher congratulating his students, he complimented their ability to stay alive in the face of impossible danger that had befallen them.

Wait… did he just say “son?”

Enola blinked sheepishly and let her mind wander as to how old Lamia Scale’s guild master was before rationalizing that he must have meant “son” in some other sense (at least, she hoped so). Enola listened to Sandor’s expected obnoxiousness until the ground started to quake as Zuo worked his magic, literally.

    Woosh!

Before much more could be done, a geyser of water burst through the marble floor right from under Zuo. Seeing the old man fly into the marble wall sent a chill through Enola’s already pained body. The freight of the site made her heart race, even preventing her from crying for her master. As she turned her head back though, she saw something even more horrifying than anything she’d seen that day: a giant hole in the floor where Okeanos had burst through. Enola’ eyes rolled in the back of her head as she looked at one of the worst messes in her history as a maid. She had gritted her teeth up to that point, bearing through the sand and water she’d dealt with that day… but this was the straw that broke the OCD camel’s back.

With a tenderness still rushing through her body from the sand coffin, Enola stood completely erect. The physical pain was nothing compared to the mental anguish. With the most sour expression upon her face, she exhaled a breath through her nose…

“I don’t know how long it’s going to take for me to sweep all the sand out.”

She held her arm out in front of herself.

“I have no clue how much kitty litter it’s going to take just to soak up all the water”

    She slowly wiggled her fingers.

“I can’t even guess the amount of marble powder it’s going to take to fix that hole.”

A solid hand made of dust began forming on her back.

“What I do know, however, is how much baking soda it’s going to take to clean your blood stains off the walls.”

With her lungs pumping full of anger at the sight of the mess, Enola channeled magic power through her body and sent the dust arm – a little larger than a regular arm – out with the hand clenched in the shape of a fist. The fist rocketed toward Okeanos while her dust angel flew toward Sandor once more from the side in an attempt to smack him in the jaw. Though her spells were weak against water, Enola was simply too rage-filled to consider that crucial fact at the moment.

The water suddenly engulfing the entire area blinded and surprised Xavier at first, and then he opened his eyes as his back contacted the ceiling, to see Okeanos phase into the water, and all of the water break through to the main hall. The rush of the water escaping from beneath him slammed him to the unforgiving floor, and he rolled over into his back while his front throbbed with pain to catch his breath. He urged himself to get up, and he did so with haste, looking to his friends he was attempting to save. He could only hope he wasn’t too late, getting to Ni-Ju was easy, his spectres were still looking after the kid and he seemed to be okay.

Rubbing his temples he tried alleviate the pressure he was feeling as a headache started to arise, he pulled his glasses out of his pockets, and rested them on his nose and he was suddenly able to focus. “…Plan… we need a plan…” He came up with something quickly in his mind, he wasn’t quite sure of its solidarity but it would suffice, not like he had much of a choice right now. He walked over to Ni-J and deliberated on it momentarily hoping he could act, it would need to be done quickly. “When I go, count 7 seconds before you strike.”

Xavier took a deep breath, and gripped his staff. He spun it around dramatically before slamming it down to the ground, and like a bolt of lightning vanished into thin air, to re-appear in the main hall. He found himself behind Okeanos and presumably another one of the three attackers of Lamia Scale facing down Verona, Enola, a fallen Ukan and Zuo himself. Thanks to the presence of this other man, this would work out perfectly. “4 seconds left…” he said under his breath. Getting to his feet, he closed the distance a little before casting his spell. He reached out with his left hand, and a bolt of lightning arced from Xavier to Okeanos and Sandor.
