RP Request

I've been looking around the site and I haven't seen a RP request thread.  I may just be missing it but in the event there is not one I thought I would suggest that they be added.

They are incredibly handy in coordinating events, jobs, teams, guild plots and just about anything.  It gives a common area for new players to seek out experienced players and work out how to get started.  True, one can just make an open thread but this is still a useful tool for making plans for character development.  A place to shout out, "Hey, someone RP with me!  I have a cool idea."

I'm not sure where the best place for such a thread (or maybe threads) would be but a template for requesting other RPers could look something like this:

Character: (Make a link to your character)
Location: (Where is the RP?)
Requirements: (Do they need to be a specific rank?  From a certain Guild?  Do their characters need a certain personality?  What do you need?)
Situation: (What are you looking for in the RP?  What will others be getting themselves into?)

I think this is a brilliant idea. I seriously needed this when I was a D-Rank unable to find a stable job partner.

Sounds like a good idea. We have had people do their own separate threads for RP requests but never have a thread solely for everyone to do so.

It shouldn't be a thread but a section. Have everyone get their own little metagame thread to plan things out and such so as to avoid clutter. If seven people were to request rp partners at the same time in one thread someone may get missed.

A section would be ideal. That way guilds could have their own threads to guild things.

A section sounds nice but lets make sure to leave mix-guild threads as an option. I like Guild Pride and what not but this should be fully public imo.

here's a thought:

Have a sticky for each guild to post in and plot things out. In order to make it properly private those guild metagame threads can be in their own guildhalls (I think we do this already to some degree). Then this section we are discussing now be for individuals.

For instance if your a male character looking for bewbs. You'll have your own metagame thread you can post in to say "Hey I'm looking for bewbs! Whose offering bewbs!?" and a conversation ensues. The important thing is that everyone has their own and only one to avoid clutter.

ACTUALLY THIS IS A GOOD THOUGHT. Make the house section the metagame section since I really don't understand its purpose anyways. Maybe that's just me.

anyway inappropriate example aside this makes the most sense and is quick to implement.
