Assassination of Gregor Cassel

It had been awhile since Mikomi teamed up with someone else from the guild,the last person she actually teamed up with was Janna. But like always that never ended well,but she couldn’t really complain about much else,she just never was someone to look for a partner or even count on someone else. She was sitting in the seat of the train she was riding as she swear she wasn’t going to walk to no damn Crocus she would never get to the location,with her lousy sense of direction meant anything. She had her legs crossed her left was over her right as she held a brown like piece of paper in her hand,the seat she was sitting in was next to the window as the window itself was open. This was because in the woman’s mouth was a lit cigarette as the smoke released from between her lips and leaving the opening of the window to the air outside as it was moving. Her brown eyes looking at the paper detail which was the detail of the job that she had taken at random,she didn’t even consciously take it which was the sad part.

The train would continue to move as Mikomi would be in deep thought,her mind going through all the possible outcomes of this job. She haven’t been sent to kill someone in a while,but she honestly couldn’t complain it was what her guild did,they killed people for their own amusement. She remained seated on the train the smoke leaving her lips as she exhales,she was going to be working with someone that was lower than her when it came to rank. She just hope that this person can hold their own when the time came for them to do so because she honestly doubt she could deal with carrying someone else during a job. If the person couldn’t handle being by their self,they were possibly in the wrong guild then. Mikomi eyes would turn to look out the open window so this was where the job took her...another pain in the ass big city.

The train would come to a stop,it was at the entrance of Crocus. Mikomi rising from her seat as she folded the paper up as she will stuff it in her shirt. She walked a bit before getting to one of the openings of the train,she will step out of it and look around. Her attention mainly being how big the city was,so finding the target wouldn’t be easy unless they gathered information or went scouting to find a guy that could seem like he was their target or they might end up killing the wrong person. Her brown eyes scanned the area as she noticed a male,who seem a bit overdressed. She mean really why would you dress so much,when it’s almost ninety degrees out here? she will ask about that later most likely. Pacing herself she will walk till she was standing beside the male known as Kuro probably a two meter distance between them as they stood at the entrance of Crocus.

Smoke rising from her exhaling as the cigarette was placed perfectly in her mouth as she will sigh softly.”Well mister overdress,I guess you know what we have to do correct? City is a bit big so we may have to cover each side seperately,this place is a bit crowded”she noted as she instantly went into business not wasting much time at all.

Mikomi was a bit lost for words as she stood beside the male that she was being forced to work with at the time. Well not so much as forced,as she was honestly helping him out. She was always a lone wolf when it came to assassinations even when she was a kid. She always had a thing for killing things neatly,well when she was in her right mind set that is. Her breath will exhale as smoke will follow along with it the cloud of smoke leaving her lips was due to the exhaling she was doing and the whole cigarette she had placed between her lips at the time. Her back remained against the wall as her arms will cross over her chest. Her eyes will close slightly as people was walking into the city of Crocus even though they had a few people looking towards them here and there. I mean when you stand next to a over dressed cosplayer that reaction isn’t shocking….though it would be better if the man left his cosplay fetishes for when he have alone time.

Her eyes slightly open as she noticed the sudden rise of the hand from the male,she guess her little insult hit a soft spot in the male. As she noticed a few things he got out of those clothes pretty quickly,maybe he had a side job as one of those escorts in the redlight district? or maybe he was a stripper for a little extra jewels? all these possibilities but how fast the clothes came off made you only wonder what this dude did as a side job. She would shrug her shoulders a bit as she chose not to ponder on that subject not to long as they had a job to do as it was a bit important after all. They were hired to kill someone,so that part wasn’t new always hired to kill something or someone,all of it was the same in her opinion honestly.

Her eyes will shift to the side as she notice the man looking towards her,she didn’t understand why nor cared. So the person they were after was holding a speech? she had to wonder how close was they to the center,and how well was this dude hearing to be able to pinpoint a target by voice? she was normally into finding information about her target before actually just tryng to kill them. But of course,not everyone in a guild called “Savage” Skull had a point they like to use their brains or it was possible she had a controlled sadistic nature so she didn’t understand most of them...talk about being a black sheep. She would shrug her shoulders,there goes her perfect execution record.

“My name is Mikomi….well while you try to get to the center i’ll meet you there”she would say as her hands will submerge in her hands. Her body breaking from Kuro as they walked as she prepared and officially blending in with the people who were rushing to the center….she couldn’t be too obvious not yet...

Misaki was following the coward after breaking from Kuro at the time,it wasn’t that she didn’t like working with people. It was more so she had a time to deal with people in quick succession which is why most of her jobs went through easily. She will be following the crowd which was huge for the time and allowed her to blend in perfectly. Her eyes looking forward as she was blended in with the crowd which allowed her t get by with little to no notice. She could hear the speech from where she was walking as her enhanced hearing would be kicking in,it was some stupid politic crap these people yap about but never go through with their words,it was how this world was build under these governments that gave false direction and hope to the people f the world. No one was different in that regard that was seen plainly due to how dark guilds like her’s was around such as sad case if she had to say so.

Her body will push through the crowd,her hand pushing slightly one person after the other as she was making her way step by step. Her eyes will catch a building near the stage where their target was giving his speech,Mikomi will run to the side cutting through the crowd and into a alleyway as she started to run. Her body's movement was quick as her shoes would seem they were barely touching the ground as she was using the power of wind to guide her body. Her eyes looking at the corner of her eyes as she would be approaching the building that caught her attention which also seem to still be in construction. Her body coming to a halt as she will bend her knees as her position was behind the building near the stage,she a sudden leap she will make her body propel upwards as a free hand will reach out grabbing the ledge. Using her upper body strength she will pull herself upwards as she will flip her body till her feet was safely placed on the roof.

Kneeling down the young slayer would begin to move along the roof till she could get a good view of the stage. She will be unnoticeable still as the buildings height will help keep her from being seen from the people below. Her eyes scanning the stage itself and around it,ten guards was guarding  her target. Grabbing the handle of her pistol she will take it out of the holster,prepping it for what she was about to do. But she hope that boy was ready to move at least,because if he didn’t do anything she wouldn’t mind taking the glory of the whole mission. She will stand from her kneeling position as she smiles”Well i better get started….”she will say as an deep sigh will leave her lips.

Her pace begun to increase as she picked up speed,dashing forward on the roof as it was a now or never moment. Her right foot would slam onto the ledge as her body will dive from the building, her hand with the pistol in it rising as she was going towards the ground. Screams of the crowd could be heard as they watched the woman jump from the building. Her finger pulling the trigger four times as four bullets would be shot. The guards all looking dumbfounded as even though the bullets was unable to be seen they traveled enough and quick enough,the four bullets found their target as without a second notice four of the guards around the stage would fall to the ground lifeless their heads having a hole driven in their forehead and blood spilling out towards the ground. The crowd would panic as they screamed and begin to run from the scene,Mikomi would move her body a bit as she lands kneeling down before she stood up.

There she stood her target merely twenty meters away,smoke escaping the tip of the gun as she smile smile just a tad.”Get the Governor away from here!”ordered one of the guards,it didn’t take long till one of the six remaining guard took Gregor by the arm escorting him through a nearby alley way as she will grit her teeth.”Worthless fools..”she would say as she prepared to due away with these people who stood in her way...

Mikomi kept her position she really didn’t care if her plan was successful or not she just hoped the person she was partnering with knew what he was doing. Having another lackey on her team would be more of a pain in the ass if anything was saying that.  Her feet pressed against the ground as she stood where she was upon landing. Her eyes looking forward as she took note of the remaining targets that was left. Four of the bodies laying flat on the surface of the heated ground as the blood was spilling from the headshot they all were given. She stood there like death itself as she would close her eyes,her raven black hair flowing down her back as a small breeze will flow by,the gentle wind caressing the woman’s skin as she held her gun at the side and her finger still on the trigger. The sun was beaming down as the screams of the people of this mighty city. Her eyes will open as the remaining five guards that were here to guard th governor had surrounded the young slayer during the time she had her eyes close.

Mikomi only held one pistol out at the time as she was surrounded,her senses were sharp as the whistling of the wind was like music to her ears. After the wind had came to a stop the five guards attacked the young mage. All of them charging in at once,they all swung their swords at that moment. Mikomi controlling the air over her body will blast herself upwards using her utmost wind control,two of the guards swords would drive into one another necks. The blood spraying out from the inflicted attack from their own ally. The two bodies hitting the ground as they begin to twitch adding blood to the already forming puddle in the center of the city. As the guards was stunned at the display of allies killing one another. Mikomi would use her wind to push herself downwards and towards one of the three remaining guards.

Her body will flip as her legs will wrap around the guards neck tightly as she giggled,using her smaller body and superior strength to slip backwards. The motion was bringing the guard with her as she will back flip as her thighs kept him in them tightly. With her motion she drove the head of the guard into the ground breaking his neck along with a loud cracking sounds of flesh and bones colliding. As she did that she pulled the trigger of the pistol in her hand to shoot the kneecaps of the two remaining guards while she flipped the one she killed. THe bullets piercing and ripping through the flesh as blood splatters over the ground bringing the guards to their knees. She will begin to stand on her hands as she begin to spin her body with speed as the wind,one guard being on the left and another on the right as she spun her body using her hands as guide.

Her legs will spread out as she ended up kicking the necks of both guard as a loud bone shattering sound could be heard as she broke the necks by the sheer force of her kicks sending one body in one direction and the other in another. Pushing off of her hands she will land on her feet as she smiled.”Annihilation complete…”she would say softly as she was prepared to move on as the alarm would suddenly go off it just meant more prey was coming her way. She would watch from ahead of the capital a ground of soldiers along with it seem members of the suppression squad was making their way towards the center of the city. She would take her second pistol out of the holster as she will turn to the north where the group was coming from,using her right leg to push herself towards the right her left hand extending as the soilders got close,her finger pulling the trigger as shot after shot was fired rapidly.
Each bullet finding it’s target as the bodies fell one by one almost as if they were lining up perfectly,blood pouring from the bodies as they hit the ground. Five guards met their end at the hand of this woman. She will use her right hand now to use the next pistol which released a wide blast from it’s chambers tearing through the guards one after another bodies dropping to the ground as the guts spilling to the floor,the bodies adding to the collection of bodies in the center of the city,thirty people had met their death by her hand so far. She will not be minding the other person with her right now,because she was enjoying herself. Their was more coming great all from one way to this couldn’t get better for the young slayer. She will begin to suck in the air as she would be taking it into her body as it was pumping through her,her chest pushing outwards.

With a opening of her mouth the huge dark winded blast which was ten meters in diameter would be released and blasted forward towards the remaining charging guards. The blast will meet the group quickly tearing through them with it’s external force the wind itself tearing the bodies of the guards apart,organs falling from the sky in the blast range. As The Bellow would come to a stop blood will rain from the sky. Mikomi will jump on the small stage as the blood rain poured in the center the body parts falling from the sky. The blood covering the woman in it’s warm embrace as she stood on the stage,her clothes and skin being covered in it.

If you looked at the center of the field from a high viewpoint or from directly above. The bodies will be lined up perfectly. As the bodies would be shaped together to form a giant skull in the center of the city. The blood puddles was at the eye of the skull and the mouth. The pure design of death itself,the skull of the creation. This was the art of the death angel herself….Mikomi Ariel...Annihilation Complete.

Mikomi stood in the center remaining where she was for the time being as in her hands was the two pistols that she used. The bodies surrounding the stage as the grand finale had came to a end. Smoke rising from her mouth as a affect from the bellow she blew out as she was breathing a bit heavily. Her chest going up and down along with her breathing as it showed just how much her actions and flexibility took on her body.”Guess I over did it just a tad bit..”she thought to herself as she stood there. Her eyes looking upwards as more guards was coming this way towards the center. The numbers were continually increasing it was like it wasn’t coming to an end at this rate. She would point her guns forward as she pulled the trigger constantly shooting bullet after bullet.

The bullets was finding their targets as more of the guards bodies continued to hit the ground one after the other. She would hold her ground for the time being but even she knew when she was out matched and she wasn’t going to use that spell...not yet. She would look to the side as the male she would be working with will appear beside her. Smoke rising from her pistol as she will look at him at the corner of her eye. The numbers kept multiplying as she will grit her teeth as they had no choice but to try and get away at this point. As more guards will be charging towards the center. She will sigh softly as it will save her from having to do anything to dangerous plus she had a plan.

“Just get me above those guards and i’ll do the rest..”she will reply as she grabbed hold of the man by the arm as she put the pistol in her hand back in it’s holster.”..Never thought I’ll use this...spell...since that damn woman trained me”she will murmur obviously talking about the wind goddess herself.

She didn’t say anything else as her eyes looked forward,her attention being on the targets that was coming their was more so than anything else that was around them. They were standing on the stage that their target was at for the time being. Well he was dead now,so guess that piece of information was a bit irrelevant. Her eyes remained focused as she will grit her teeth this job was becoming more and more so a pain in the ass than anything else that caused her problems just from the annoying guards numbers that seem to not calm down. It was like rat infested home with no hope of getting them out. She would look towards the man that was beside her as she really have no idea,how she could work with him like this. But those thoughts would have to wait for the time being as she had other matters to attend to or at least see through.

She will feel them take off towards the air as the man would take off and do as she instructed at least he was good at listening to her,that was a good start of this relationship. She listened to him as he spoke”You just listen to what I say for now..and let me worry about that”she said in reply though would come off a bit mean but in all honesty she was just in a hurry to return back to the guild,maybe she finally could get a date if she went searching for one. She would sigh softly as she used her own wind to keep her body light so it wasn’t to much on the male who was helping her at the time she had a plan and needed to see it through. But now she had to think it was about fifty guards at most down there she could off them all,lets hope she remembers how to do that spell now.

“This is just fine..”she would reply as she would flip her body a bit using her control over wind to the point she was standing on Kuro’s shoulders but her weight was like the wind and extremely light. This was due to the fact wind coated her body and help decreased her mass to the point she felt like a feather. She will stand on his shoulders as her violet eyes look down towards the ground as she would close her eyes. She needed to focus while she had the time to the cooling winds caressing her skin as she stood upon the male shoulders. She would open her eyes as she look towards the guard below she had to do this right. She will rise her hands towards the sky as a small drift of wind will start to pick up as she does this.

Black feathers will begin to peel from the wrist of Mikomi as she focuses the wind picking up with her motions. The feathers becoming more and more as they multiplied,her arms crossing over her chest as a magic aura surround her body. She will jump from Kuros Shoulders to go further in the air as she will still have the black feathers surrounding her wrist as she would focus more of her magical power into this as she had to finish this in one shot,thats all she needed. She would open her eyes looking towards the ground as she used her air control to keep her afloat in this process,she never used a spell like this because it never was her kind of thing...but here goes.

“God Slayer…..Secret Art”she will begin to say as her hands will face towards the ground,noting the targets in her sight.”Heavenly Gathering Of Clouds Release!”she said as the feather gathered together and dashed towards the ground. The blast is about twenty meters wide as the high velocity of the wind swoosh down quickly towards the ground. As the blast made contact it will begin to shred the bodies of the guards piece by piece as the strong wind currents was so strong that no normal human could survive it. The blast was beging controlled by Mikomi’s gestures of her hand as it was wipping out the group of guards in it’s wake leaing behind black feathers covered in blood as it tore through them. It would be hard for anyone to see what was happening within the dark feather wind spell as it was blinding but it slowly will come to a stop and turn to nothing. The next thing to be seen would be the fifty soldiers tore to pieces and blood spilling from their torn corpse as all fifty of them laid to waste dead. She will float to the ground and land back on the stage as she couldn’t help but smirk just a tiny bit.

Mikomi body will stand on the stage after the slaughtering of the many guards that attempted to stop them maybe it was better if they did try to escape for once being in this big city was never a good idea when you just killed a man with such high standing. Her eyes scanned the area as she took note of the information given by Kuro as he noted it was better if they kept moving instead of staying in one place for too long. Well the boy wasn’t wrong as they did need to escape at the very least or attempt to. She would hop down to the ground for the time being getting off of of the stage as she will close her eyes slightly this allowed her hearing to pick up anything it could for the time being.

“We better gell weet going towards this forest”she will finally reply as she will begin to move her body as it started to move forward. Her body picking up pace as she begun t run as she will go through a nearby alley as she will look behind her to see if the man with her could keep up with her knowing her speed was far beyond that of her rank,no normal shinobi could keep up with her at this point as she begin to run through the city. Her eyes looking back forward so she didn’t run into anything that could be troublesome as she was making her way towards the forest which seem to be ways off still. The screams of the people echoed through the village as they were making their way. She would use her power over ar to glide on air as she moved her body she already know they wouldn’t be able to escape this place without any trouble...it was a pain in the ass.

Mikomi body will continue to be moving as her eyes was focusing on the target that was their target. Her feet moving as she rushed forward,she looked back ever so often as she made sure to check on the man following her. She will continue to move even if the man was barely keeping up,this just meant he needed to train more. But also she was trained by a goddess so it wasn’t shocking that her speed was fast as it was. Her feet pressing against the ground bringing up dust in it’s wake as she moved through the alleyway. She was pushing to get out of this place as she wasted to much time here to begin with,Mikomi turned a sharp right as her body didn’t even stop as she did so showing she had more control over her speed than most people. She will see at the corner of her eye as she saw the man keeping up with her,making he was actually worth something.

Mikomi body will be unrestrained by the wind force of her running it showed her control over the wind could be used in more than flashy ways. She will notice people of the crowd still running as she ran pass openings in the buildings,they really made a panick situation but now they needed to get out of her now. She will come to a halt as her back will press against the wall as she stopped,her hand will reach up as if to tell Kuro to hold off as the next part was near their needed location,her head slightly slipping pass the corner to see what they had to deal with.”I doubt they will just let us leave…”she will say softly so Kuro could hear her,this was becoming just a tad bit annoying.

Mikomi’s back remained pressed against the warm brick wall that support her back as she leaned against it. Her eyes catching sight of two of the city guards,mostly due to they just started due to the lack of armor to support their body. On the other hand there was the other two who was fully armored to the core essentially protecting most of their vital spots which would be open to the public otherwise. Her violet eyes keep taking note of the four people guarding the entrance to the forest but this always meant she had to take care of them. She will move her head back to cover as she would turn her head slightly as her eyes would look towards the male beside her,”There is four people in total guarding our exit,one group on the left and another on the right,they’re patrolling the alleyways looking for us it would seem. The best course of action if we don’t want to create a big scene is to take them out silently and efficiently”she will explain for starters.

With that she will bend her knee slightly to leap grabbng onto the edge of the building they were against using the support of wind to allow her to leap up as far as she did. Holding on to the ledge she will use her upper body strength to lift herself up till she was on the roof,her feet landing on the tiled flooring silently without a sound. She will be kneeling just a bit as she began to advance forward making her way towards the first two who was walking and separated from the other two who was on the right side of the place,so while she had the left,the man who was with her will have to secure the right side. Her body coming to a halt as she looked over the edge her violet eyes paying attention to her targets. The armored one was walking in front as the one without armor would be walking behind him.

She moved silently among the roof as she follow them to it was like a eagle found her prey. She noticed the corner that was coming up. Her body will leap from the roof not making a sound as she will land on the ground without a single noise due to the wind support she was doing. As the armored one turned the corner and the other one was about to. It was then her arm wrapped around the man neck pulling him down to the ground holding his head tightly as she twisted the mans head as the guard neck will be snapped. Pulling the body a few feet back and sitting down among the wall the man would seem he was just taking a nap let alone dead...which he was...now she had one more target to go.

Mikomi attention would now go to the armored man that was walking around for patrol. She could tell he didn’t really notice that the person who he was walking around with was gone. Which made things a bit easier,the point that people didn’t walk in these alleys of the city made it even better. So she will turn the corner in a way only she could do,her body will shift just a bit as she was pacing herseld getting closer to the one guard in all armor. SHe couldn’t help but wonder if the male that was with her was able to handle himself properly. She just hoped so,she rather not have a lackies blood on her hands for the time being that would of been a bit bad.

She will watch as the armored man was about to turn the corner,but with a reach of her arm she wrapped it around the man neck pulling him back behind the wall using the opening of the armor where the neck was to do so. Sticking the tip of her gun in the opening she will pull the trigger once,the shot was silent and efficient as it pierced the man nexk at this point blank range killing the armored bastard. Dragging the body till it was up against the wall also. Stepping from the alley as she put the gun back in it’s holster as she proceeded to blend in with the crowd of people passing by. As she was walking she would wait a bit as she was a bit curious of how Kuro could handle himself obviously not being part of her branch was a thing. She walked as she was following the motion of the people to get near the forest and break off hopefully there won’t be any more trouble for them.
