Venir vs Zellha

Acalia stood in the arena, talking to her other soul Zellha. "Zellha! Why do you have to do this huh? Fighting is wrong, you should know that! Especially if you're doing it for some stupid reason like this-" Zellha cut her off. "Shut up. I can do as I please. Dont interfere..." With that Zellha took over the body they shared, and Acalias soul appeared next to her. Acalia's once big eyes turned narrow, and cold. Zellha didn't care at all about what magic or how strong her opponent was, she would win this fight no matter what! While she was taking slow, paced steps towards her opponent she took the time to look at her surroundings. It was a setting similar to that of ruins, she didn't know how the area could look this way since it was an arena but hey, you never know with magic. It seemed surprisingly like the Ancient Ruins, and even to top it off each little ruined structure looked like it could topple at any minute, and wouldn't provide much cover. Also, in various spots of these ruins were things that could signal life being able to be supported in this area, there were trees in some areas, ponds, all of that. Moss and other plants were growing off of some of these ruined walls, pillars, and other stuff that made the place seem like Ancient Greece. When she was done examining the surroundings Zellha took a few more slow, paced steps towards her opponent, standing a mere 15 meters away, close enough to be heard while she said her one cocky statement. "Do you think you can win...?"

Venir the ever thrill-seeking adventurer that she was had recently found out about dueling other mages. While that wouldn't usually be her first choice of entertainment, she had found that she had nothing else to do. Under normal circumstances the pink haired mage wasn't what exactly a 'fighter' so to speak. Sure she got in fights but she normally didn't start them at least not intentionally. "Whatever it's about time I get a little practice with fighting other mages."The pinkette finally managed to keep a thought to herself as she glanced about the arena. There was countless ruins all around, half of a crumbling down temple, numerous cracking walls, and countless pillars that looked ready to collapse at one strong gust of wind. "How fun!" The pink haired mage grinned at the surroundings and then looked across the arena to see her opponent.

"Do I think I can win?" The pink haired girl called back and seemed to be in thought at that statement. She pulled out her set of marbles tossing them into the air behind her where they floated almost ominously if that was even possible. "I guess we'll just have to see. Let's have fun okay!" The bikini clad mage called out to the other girl with a smile and a wave. Venir wasn't serious at all, she was fun-loving by nature and often time her silly personality was almost infectious. Even at the beginning of a battle the pink haired mage had her trade-mark, lope-sided grin as she waited for her opponent to make the first move. This was certainly going to be an interesting experience for the Eclipse Soul mage.

"Heh, fun. That's the word you use. I will have fun, but not until you lay on the floor next to dead." The horned ruin goddess opened up the palm of her hand, and then the hand itself began to surround in a green light, as the spell Light of Ruin began to charge itself up. "Prepare for the pain that comes with fighting the ruin goddess Zellha." With saying this the ruin goddess's left hand, the one not charging up energy flung itself up as she stepped closer, getting 15 feet, or aproximately 5 meters, away. With this a circle of green light appeared on the ground beneath Venir, and then the energy exploded, which would send Venir back 5 feet, as well as create a 3 foot deep crater in the ground regardless of its hit. Zellha smiled, because a pillar of stone which was about 10 feet in height was near the blast, which then toppled with the blast and landed above the newly created crater and broke. Zellha walked over, the green light still surrounding her hand as she stood atop the newly broken pillar. Zellha started singing a song, soothing and soft, while she waited for Venir's possible counter as the light green and white stardust type material just sat in her hand, waiting for its full potential to be reached while she just hummed and sang, happily. "Having fun yet?" She said, with a dark expression and a mischievous smile, while Acalia was simply almost ready to cry because of what Zellha decided to do.

Venir flinched at the other girls harsh words. She did know this wasn't a battle to the death right? The pinkette shivered hoping that the girl knew that. As the other girl approached Venir took a few cautious steps back and her marbles flew back as well but they weren't enough to stop the green circle of light from appearing beneath her. She looked down at it curious as to what it was or rather what her opponent was up to. Then out of nowhere the circle exploded sending both dirt and Venir flying, the falling pillar only sent more dirt and dust up into the air. With a large 'thump' and a grunt Venir hit the wall that was behind her but was quick to leap back into action.

Still using the dirt as a smokescreen Venir fled and dived behind some near by crumbling ruins for cover. When the dirt in the air cleared the only thing remaining where Venir previously stood, was a single green marble. The others were with Venir at the moment but she left that single marble out as a distraction of sorts. Even from where Venir was she could still hear Zellha singing, and of course her question. Seeing as the single marble was the only thing in sight Venir made it move up and down in a nodding motion as if responding to her question. The little green marble then quickly moved around, this way and that in no particular pattern as it moved about the arena. Sometimes it moved as if it was going in to his Zellha but then quickly retreated. The little marble was quick by itself especially in such a small size, which made it hard to keep track of. Venir on the other hand wasn't simply sitting by idly from her spot behind the wall she looked around the arena for something that was within her lifting limit. "Perfect!" She thought as she gazed at some of the nearby crumbling bricks perhaps fifteen feet to her left. Not once leaving her spot or ceasing the random movement of her marble, Venir floated up a couple of the bricks and tossed them towards Zellha who was hopefully still distracted by the tiny marble.

Zellha watched as the dust cleared, and the small marble going in and out as if it were going to attack her. A single green marble. She clearly doesn't want to attack me with it, but what is it for? This could prove to be disadvantageous to me so I'll keep an eye on it. she thought. Zellha knew that it was much too fast to hit with the small orb of energy that now was fully charged and waited in her hands, and it didn't take long for Zellha to realize that Venir wouldn't attack with the marble itself. What Zellha didn't notice, however was the four bricks that Venir threw. This was when Acalia decided to step in, she thought that even though Zellha treated Acalia like crap she still deserved to win, and she would help as much as possible with that. "Zellha watch out!" She yelled, and pointed to the four bricks coming at her. Zellha glared at them, then jumped out of the way while simultaneously throwing the orb, purposely throwing it in front of Venir instead of at her so that the explosion would hit her once it touched the ground while preventing her from moving while Zellha herself started sprinting towards Venir's location while a giant orb of green energy started to surround her body, and the Ruin Energy started to manifest itself. (note Zellha is running on the opposite side, not the same side as the explosion) Zellha, during this entire time, wasn't losing her cool and just continued to hum her song happily.
