White spots. Saeko couldn't stop thinking about that day while she sat on the ground, in the outskirts of Karakuri city. Passing her hand through her hair, she proceeded to rub her temples softly, as if that would activate her memory, unlock the memories to her past somehow, although, if it had not worked before, it would not work now either. And truly; the only thing she kept seeing was a gigantic blank image, no faces, no names, no locations, just white. Laying down, she sighed and concentrated, attempting to forcefully bring back any memory to herself. But the first actual image she could see was the same one she had seen so many times, and the first one she remembers; The Awakening.
As she layed down and closed her eyes, Saeko could see that day so clearly as if it had been yesterday. She could see the darkness and emptiness of the Midi street, she could see the people passing in front of her, ignoring her. The snow white cat that would come and snuggle with her. The dagger, the bloody dagger, that was so covered in blood that it seemed as if it was crafted out of it. As she stood like that, Saeko seemed to lose all consciousness of time, of her surroundings, of who she was, although, considering she had amnesia, she didn't know who she was anyways. Saeko Shinozaki was just a false name, a name to substitute the one she forgot long ago, and a false age and birthday to cover up the fact she did not know her real ones. She felt so amashed of not knowing anything about her past, of being so clueless.
She felt ridiculously weak and stupid, by not knowing anything about her past. Which was why she wanted to discover her past so badly. To know who she is.
