Frederick could feel it, the usual uncomfortable attitude that hung around the guild when he walked in had changed. The burning anger, the foul glares that stuck into his back like daggers, their hands clenching a mug with a breaking grip. He could all feel it, the bottled up anger of his fellow guild members had reached such a boiling point that a clash seemed inevitable.

However the Sabertooth mages weren't to blame, in fact Frederick himself was most likely the cause of this himself. For months now he had been treating the other mages with harsh words and disrespect, looking down upon them as if they were nothing more then expandable weaklings. Something he often reminded them off when someone actually even tried to talk to him.

This common routine however changed a few moments before, right after when Frederick had been sneering at a young teenage girl so much that she'd actually started to cry. Her cheeks turned red as her eyer started to tear up. And when she loudly started sniffing while she tried to apologize, some of the other mages stood up as well.

'What is your problem huh!!' said a muscular mage at the same time he shoved his chair back so hard that it fell on the ground with a smack. 'She was just asking if you could give her some pointers!'

'Yeah he's right! Who gives you the right to treat others like that.. dark mage!' continued an other mage while grabbing the staff from his back. 'Maybe it's high time we'll deal with you!!'

'You two? Don't make me laugh' responded Frederick with a cold demeanor 'What can you two do huh.. fine come at me! I'll make sure I pulverize you with the ground itself, and anyone else for that matter'

    'dark mage'
The words caused Aayla to shudder as she looked over her shoulder to the source of the disruption. She had been eating her lunch quietly whenever the mood in the guild itself seemed to change. As she looked over, she had a fish tail sticking out of her mouth as she looked between Frederik and the members who were defending the girl who had started crying. She couldn't blame them for wanting to defend her, but as a Knight of the guild, she couldn't let rifts like this continue between the members... even if they were all much older than her.

She stood up from her spot, replacing the uneaten part of her fish on the plate before grasping her trident. At first, she was slow to walk towards the mages, but whenever the younger male grabbed his staff, she darted forward, stopping only once she was between both Frederik and the insulted mages.

"Forgive my intrusion but I will not allow a fight to break out here. Like it or not, Mr. Frederik is just as much a member of Sabertooth as you are."
She then turned her gaze over to the older man, meeting his glare with one of her own which was... very much less intimidating.

"Mr. Frederik, you should apologize. Not everyone here is to your skill level and huting them wouldn't prove anything."

Aayla's sudden interruption had everything but the desired effect on Frederick. In fact it enraged him even more, mostly because he saw it as a form of patronizing. He didn't needed her to tell the others he was a mage of this guild as well, and he certainly didn't needed her to teach him the lesson of the difference in skill. No he saw it as a undermining of his own superiority.

'tch, they knew what they got themselves into the moment they raised their voice against me girl' he said without even willing to acknowledge Aayla by her name. 'So why don't you and your pathetic knighthood move aside so that I can properly show these poor excuses what a real mage is truly capable off.'

Frederick roughly shoved Aayla aside and slowly walked passed her towards the two mages that had raised their voice against him. With slow yet intimidating steps he increased his own aura a bit, enough so that a barely visible blackness move up from his body. Like the steam from a hot plate of food.

Kiersa was on her way from her room to the main hall, having finally finished healing from her exam with Hikari, when she saw and heard the commotion. "What's going on?" she asked a passing mage. "That Frederick douche is being a major asshole again. Made one of the guild girls cry and is now bruising up for a fight." he told her before muttering apologies for his language once he spotted her garb. The nun frowned before heading over to see for herself, in time to see him shove Aayla and exude a dark steamy aura around himself. He was heading for a pair of mages, with hostile intent it seemed.

Penitent won't hold him... she thought to herself before she moved ahead to try and get between him and the mages. The darkness he wielded scared her yes... but she couldn't just stand by and allow him to hurt these people. As she moved forward she began to chant for Avalon. "Clad mine flesh in thine vestments, sacred shield of the Dragon of Divinity, sheathe to the sacred blade of Arturia! Lend me thine light, and grace mine allies even as thou damn mine foes! Shine forth, Avalon!" There was the brief burst of light before she stood between Fred and his targets. She spread her arms wide.

"Enough. We cannot be fighting amongst ourselves." said Kiersa, swallowing as she drew Frederick's ire towards herself. She looked behind herself to the mages she was protecting from his wrath. "Apologise to him for what you did." said the nun, ignoring their glares before she returned her focus back on the Darkness mage. "And you apologise for making your fellow mage break into tears." she ordered, preparing herself for the possibility that he wouldn't accept their apologies.

Hika was striding through the guildhall, humming loudly to get her lunch before a flock of people caught her attention. She was in high-spirits as she had finished her exam with Kiersa just recently. Staring at the ruckus that was happening in the guild hall, she wondered what everyone was fussing about. It didn’t take her long enough to realise that the people were having an argument. A few of her guild mates were preparing to get into a fight while Aayla and Kiersa were trying to stop them. ”Oi. What’s the matter?” She hissed lowly to the bartender, not averting her gaze away from the group of people. ”Frederick caused that little girl to cry and challenged those men to fight him. Tch, that dark mage,” The bartender snarled, glaring at Frederick behind the counter.
”Oh, Frederick…” Hika whispered to herself, as she sat on a stool and crossed her legs over each other. Hika brought her elbow up on the bar and rested her cheek against her palm, watching the scene occurred before her. She wondered what would happen afterwards, her amusement piqued.

Hika had known Frederick for quite some time, although he was mostly in the shadows of the guild, unappreciated by the people in Sabertooth because he was from a dark guild. Barely ever talked to him, she still knew this man was different inside. She did not know why. It might be due to sharing feelings with a mage from a dark guild. A smile spread across her lips as she continued to watch what Frederick and the rest would do next. Her secret would be sealed forever. And, no one would have to know.

Post by Guest 5th December 2014, 9:52 pm

Akame was sleeping peacefully in her respective bedroom assigned by the guild, itself. Prior to this day, Akame had gone through extensive training. It was all due to a recent cause, and that was an upcoming exam. Akame had to prove her strength, and show the guild that she was not a force to be reckoned with. However, previously, she set herself in overdrive attempting to do so, and almost lost consciousness. This exam meant a lot to Akame, though she had yet to realize that her own health came first. In fact, it was not until this recommended rest that Akame had stopped letting loose on the battlefield. Unfortunately, while Akame hoped to sleep well, the crying of a little girl woke her up. Though she had gotten several hours of sleep already, Akame grew angry.

Akame hopped into her shower quickly, and cleansed herself before drying off. She put her bra on, slipped into some yoga pants, and dressed herself with a red tank-top and white fleece before kicking on some brown sandals. Afterwards, Akame fixed her hair up, and slowly walked into the open, fury written all over her face. "Frederick..." Akame muttered. This man really was a pest. Though he often kept himself out of everyone's sight, Akame would spot him occasionally causing a ruckus; her only impression of this man. Everyone else would also get upset with him due to his lack of lawful behaviour, and lack of ability to stay calm over certain situations. Unfortunately, this was yet another time in which Frederick had done something wrong. A little girl was crying, and two Mages were set as targets for Frederick to fight over, it seemed. Meanwhile, Akame saw that three other Mages had already gotten themselves involved in the scene: Aayla, Kiersa and Hikari. This much security only made Akame grow more enraged with Frederick's attitude, and so she made her own approach.

Akame gestured the little girl to come running over to her to avoid this fight. The girl nodded miserably, and dashed towards Akame to hug her. Akame lifted the little girl up, and held the female carefully and comfortably in her arms. This gave the two men the weakest of smiles while they were still victimized by Frederick's madness. "Let them be..." Akame demanded in a cold tone, "Three women are already here to halt you on behalf of the guild you joined. The fourth is now here, so I suggest you stop unless you wish to betray our guild's code of conduct." Truthfully, there was no solid evidence of behaviour that the guild recommended, though it surely was not dark- even Frederick should understand that. The guild traditionally promoted positive attitudes, so being a pest surely acted against it. Sabertooth was a fine establishment meant for happiness, so such scenery was bound not to please any member aside from Frederick, whatsoever. This had to stop before any other members would get involved, or even the leader.

Cirven laid on his bed in his room looking over the Dragon Historia book he had taken so many years ago during the massacre that destroyed his village. The book spoke about theories and rumors on dragons throughout the history of Earthland. The book was something that Cirven treasured even though he was not much of a reader.

He closed the book and sighed from the feeling of being bored suddenly swarming over him. "Reading this book over and over has gotten kind of boring..." He opened a drawer near his bed and placed the book inside it. He then yawned as he got up from the bed and grabbed his sword that was leaning on the side of his bed. He placed it under the sash that was wrapped around his body.

The Demon Slayer mage left his room and made his way through the guildhall. He turned around a corner to see his sister confronting Fredrick just when he pushed her away. Cirven's white flames erupted from his hands and danced around them as his anger swarmed his mind. He managed to calm himself down to where his flames dispersed but his anger was still pretty evident. Some others beat Cirven up to confronting Fredrick but that didn't stop him from joining them.

He then turned his attention to Aalya first and made sure she was OK from Fredrick's aggressiveness. "You OK Aly? He didn't hurt you right?" A slight fear could be heard in his voice as he spoke.

"Fredirck.. Stop all of this idiot! You are just ruining whatever good image you have with us here!" Cirven tried to think of his title over his want to just swarm the ex-Dark mage with his flames but his anger then sparked up again as he continued speaking. "Why is it like you can't just get along with us?! You are like a feral lion here who all it knows how to do is bite and snap at others! Do you need your fangs to be chipped?"

    "Hey!"
She protested as Frederik shoved her aside. Her feet scuffled until she caught her balance and instinctively spun around, extending her hand as a bubble of water formed there. She wasn't going to let him hurt those other mages... but just then,  a few of the other girls, including Kiersa showed up to back her up.

The last thing she had intended, or wanted was for others to gang up against Frederik... she had just meant to step in to break up the fight, not start a war against the older man. And then there was the fact that everyone was calling him a dark mage... sure he was tall, dark and sometimes scary but that didn't make him a dark mage, and she began to think they were being very very rude about it, even though he was instigating a fight.

Whenever Crven came to make sure she was alright, she gave him a pout and a frown before lowering her arm and grabbing his sleeve gently.

"Yeah i'm fine. If he wanted to hurt me he would have."
She stated plainly before glancing to the others, then back over to Frederik. With all of them here... no doubt they would be able to subdue the mage if it came to that... right? But it wouldn't, she knew he wouldn't let it get that far.

There couldn't be more then two or three meters apart, between Frederick and the two mages that had stood up against him. When a bright white light suddenly flashed through the guild hall, that shortly clashed with the foul black aura that he himself emitted, before it faded away and revealed the rather unique source of it.

Now between Frederick's wrath and the mages stood a young woman clad in apostle's clothing, a religious garb that falsely portrayed the woman as a delicate and frail girl. Her arms were spread wide as a physical sign that she was there to stop Frederick and what he was about to do.
In which she seemed to succeed, even if it was for a brief moment. The bright flash earlier had thrown Frederick out of his own fixation that was aimed at the two mages from earlier, and had now turned towards Kiersa who had bravely put herself between them.

However before he had the chance to raise his voice against or worse, other key members of the guild joined the fray too. One 'Hikari' didn't do so much as observe the situation from the bar, probably more because of an interest in the situation then actually trying to stop him. Or it was just that she preferred the safety and the comfort of not getting to mixed up into this.
While the others that had joined got sucked into the mess without a seconds delay. Yet their approach were a tad less subtle then their predecessors, in fact some would call them rather aggressive as well. Which wasn't actually that strange considering Frederick's behavior.

'Do you really think mere wenches from the streets can put a stop to me' increasingly angry yet still arrogant with his own power Frederick sneered at Akame from under his hood. It probably wasn't even an actual threat that Akame had told Frederick, but rather a reminder of where he actually was. The guild's code of conduct, bravery, vigilance, together with your comrades you stand. That last one was the very thing he failed to comprehend, or just failed to acknowledge it's concept.

The last one that arrived on the scene, was no one less then Aayla's brother. A young aspiring mage whom as well was bestowed with the title of knighthood by their former master. Cirven.
He had arrived just in time to see a mass of darkness to engulf Frederick's right hand which was now clenched into a fist.
'If I were you I would back away Cirven, because 'chipping my fangs' would probably end up me beating you into a bloody pulp boy! And anyone else who is foolish enough to threaten me!.'

Kiersa looked around at the others before swallowing slightly as Frederick seemed almost eager to escalate this potential conflict. "I didn't want to do this... but you leave me with little alternative." she said. "Frederick... as Royal Magus, the title formerly known as Paragon of Faith, of this guild, with the powers vested in me by Master Zenshin, I hereby order you to stand down." said the armoured nun before regarding the crowd that had gathered. "Don't you all have jobs to go do? Disperse." she said, the guild members hurrying to do as she told them, just in case the order of one of the three Aces didn't do anything to dissuade Frederick.

The nun looked back at Cirven for a moment. "Put out the fire... please." she asked, looking him in the eye, hoping he'd calm down. "Nobody here wants to fight with one another in this hall... we're all on the same side. We are all mages of Sabertooth aren't we?" Kiersa asked as she looked around at the others before looking once more at Frederick.

“You’re just gonna make him angrier,” Raven spoke to Kiersa as she walked in on the scene. She was getting ready for another journey when she found a crowd and all of her teammates surrounding Frederick. Her impulse was to actually ignore it and go her way. But as she saw how serious Frederick was, she decided she might as well stay.

She nodded at the members who left on Kiersa’s comment. That was a good decision to make, she thought as she now stoop in front of Aayla and Cirven, facing Fred. She didn’t say a word although she kept her gaze on. She had worked with Fred once and she knew he wasn’t as bad as people thought he was. Maybe a little too volatile. But, he was still a good person who cared about the guild as much as any other.

“How about we forget this ever happened and go our separate ways? I’m pretty sure all of us have much more important jobs to do,” she suggested, keeping a straight face. Gathering around and fighting like kids was not what Sabertooth members did. The whole situation was pretty stupid, in her opinion.

Hika decided to remain in her seat, not wanting to be involved in the argument. Frederick seemed to surrounded by every mage that had appeared, including Cirven, Akame and Raven as well. It was a relief Cirven didn’t start burning up the place, otherwise it would be bad. Really bad. Hika drummed her fingers on her lap, kicking her boots in the air as she watched the scene unfold before her. It appeared that Kiersa and the rest had stopped the commotion, the people in the guild scurrying back to their places. The smile still lingered on her lips as she twirled swiftly around on her stool and grabbed a cup of water that was placed in front of her before gulping it down her throat.

Kiersa was right - they weren’t supposed to fight. After all, we are all from Sabertooth with the same hopes and dreams and lived together like family. She hoped no one would start another fight like this again. Sliding off her seat, Hika prepared to leave the guildhall, assuming that the quarrel had been ceased. If not, then, Hika would remain watching by the counter, observing their moves and expressions.

    "She's right Cirven..."
Aayla said gently as she placed her hand on Cirven's wrist as if that move alone would extinguish his flames and calm the demon slayer down. Just then, Raven stepped in front of them, causing the young girl to look up at their team-mate and nodding, even though she could not see her do so.

"Mr Frederik no one here wants to fight you, no one's here to challenge you and no one's contradicting how strong you are. However, when someone stands up against one member of Sabertooth, the others will rise to their defence, whether it's that girl and those boys, or if someone somehow threatened you."
She stated more calmly now. At first when she had been shoved aside by the older man, she had been ready to retaliate by trying to lock him in her water lock, but now with the others present, she felt her sudden aggression at his action disappear.

Cirven attempted to calm himself down after hearing the guidance of his sister and teammates. The flames that erupted over his hand subsided at the feeling of his sister's touch, mostly from it being her and him not wanting to burn her at all. The rage still swarmed all around in his chest but he knew that he had to calm down and not fight the man at all. The way Fredrick acted was completely out of character for a mage of Sabertooth but that was something that the blue-haired boy needed to block out. He needed to see Fredrick as an ally and not as an enemy because he was just as much a part of Sabertooth as he was.

"Fredrick..." He curled his hand into a fist but then slowly released it. ".. Please stop in the way you do things here. I understand you probably have some sort of dark past that most of us won't even come to understand but that doesn't mean you take it out on people who are only here to help you with that past!" Cirven got louder at the end of his short speech. The thoughts of punching Fredrick across his face again flashed in over his mind again and his hands clenched back into fists again. "Sorry but I will be right back."

Cirven moved his sister's hand from his wrist and smiled at her. He then walked away and outside of the entrance to the guild hall. He took in a deep breath as he stared up into the sky above him. The dark thoughts of beating the crap out of the man continued to swarm his mind and caused his white flames to erupt out all over his body. "Stupid.. Idiot..." Cirven then took in a deep breath which caused the flames around him to swirl into his mouth where he closed it. The mass of flames caused his cheeks to puff out some and then he released all of the flames into the air in a fit of anger.

"Thats better.." He huffed out as he turned back around and went back into the guildhall.

For a moment after Aayla had spoken it seemed as if Frederick's anger subdued a little, as his power level dropped and the dark aura that surrounded him started to become less visible. Even the dark mass that has engulfed his fist earlier ebbed away.

And when Cirven had his final say, and walked away. Frederick's wrath had sunk so low that the dark hooded man actually could think with some sort of reason again. Even though he was still agitated and still treated everyone that talked to him with a foul gaze.

'Tch, I'm going out for a job' he'd eventually said after a few moments of silence. And walked away, without even thinking of showing any form of remorse or offering an apology. Sure he could've gone on the offensive, pummel those who spoke out against him into a pulp, and probably break more then just a couple of their bones. But it would also mean that he had to take up arms against an entire guild, who saw each other as comrades and would protect each other from any foe that may threaten them. And that was a lot to take on, even for him.

On his way out, he would pass Cirven. Who had went outside for a moment to calm himself down before he made some sort of mistake and actually attacked the dark hooded fiend. And on the moment Frederick would pass him, he couldn't help to let out one final sneer. Only hearable for Cirven's ears at that moment.
'Threaten me again boy.. and I'll not only rip out your throat, but that of your sister's as well'

The blue-haired Slayer came through the doors of the guildhall feeling a bit better from his outburst. It was almost as if his ouburst was going to have no reason behind it though as the dark hooded man approached him as he went back into the guildhall. He didn't expect to see Fredrick so soon and tried not to look at him because he knew that he would give off a angry glare. He somehow managed to not look at the man but could not keep him from affecting his ears.

Cirven's eyes widened in anger to the words of the ex-dark mage. "Really!?" White flames erupted off of his body and burnt into the floor but even with all the anger he did not turn around to Fredrick but only spoke. "You touch her and I will make sure the only thing left of you is ashes! My position in the guild is nothing compared to her being safe and I will completely throw it away if you hurt her!" He turned around to look at Fredrick to show how angry he was through the raging flames that covered his body. Even his eyes had been consumed by the white flames and looked less like eyes and more like pure flaming orbs.

A burst of light and a shout of "Really!?" alerted Kenshi, the so-called Amethyst Shadow, that all was not well in his chosen guild of Sabertooth. His eyes snapped open, blue orbs glowing dimly in the half-light. He carefully unfolded his legs and slid off the ledge, the other side of which was a 2,200 meter drop straight down to the ground. The Slayer had been sitting on the handrail that encircled the outside area of the Sabertooth guild hall, unbothered by the height or the deadly plunge that awaited him should he lean back too far. He was, for the moment, hidden in the shadows of the guild hall. He now slipped and slid over the ground, angling towards the source of the light and sound, seeming for all the world a troubled spirit gliding over the earth of a graveyard. As he came around the building, his eyes narrowed against the glare of the bright white flames that Cirven was emitting. Once in view of the seemingly impending fight, he chose another spot on the ledge to sit and observe. Anger at two guild members threatening each other caused puffs of his signature red and black toxic gas to emit from between his clenched teeth. He didn't care if Frederick was from a dark guild. He was a member of the same guild as Kenshi. That made him a comrade in the swordsman's eyes. Sure, he was only a D-rank. Sure, he was one of the newest members. That didn't stop him from feeling that the mistreatment of Frederick by the guild, and vice versa, was wrong.

    "Enough!"

The bellowing voice would be heard clearly over the top of everyone elses clamouring as the figure of Sabertooth's Guildmaster became visible, his magical aura seemingly pushing the crowd apart as he walked almost casually to the center of the drama, his eyes closed and giving no sign of what was on his mind. It wasn't until he reached Cirven and Frederick that he would open his eyes and look at the two of them, the flame demon slayer first and then his former adversary.

"This has gone on quite long enough. The pair of you, with me. No arguments." he ordered bluntly, making it clear that saying 'no' or walking away was ill-advised to say the very least.

'hah ashes!' replied Frederick with an equally powerful outburst. Only instead of the white flames that poured out of Criven, he spread around a black darkness that seemed to be the perfect fit in their conflict. With it, the light in the guild hall appeared to dwindle as well, as if Frederick's own darkness started to suck it in and suffocate it.

'Ill invite you to come and try!' In the meantime, Frederick had taken a step closer towards Cirven. So that they now stood only a mere inches across from one another. However when all seemed that it was inevitable that they would go at each others throats, someone unexpected entered the fray. A man equally as powerful as both of them, yet far more levelheaded.

Cirven's hand hand started towards his sword as the man literally shrouded in darkness came closer to him. His anger had been pushed so far to that he didn't care about striking the man down. He had threatened to take away his one and only family member he had left out of a sort of anger for him and the others trying to keep the peace with him and the guild.

His flames clashed with the darkness that Fredrick had called forth and both auras angrily slammed into each other as both stood only inches apart. Neither wanted to step down from the fight that was about to ensue but suddenly a voice echoed out to stop the confrontation. The voice of the guildmaster.

"Tch.." Cirven grit his teeth but calmed his flames down and took a few steps back from the hooded man in front of him.

    "Now who's the idiot..."
Aayla grumbled lowly to her brother as he finally backed away from Frederik. Frankly, if the two had gotten into a fight she would have had to take her bothers side, no matter how much she had tried to get everyone to believe Frederik was a good person. That wouldn't have been a good scenario for anyone... so whenever Marick finally came onto the seen, her worried face turned into a gentle smile. She silently mouthed a thank you before stepping forward and taking her brothers arm, using it to lean up and whisper to him.

"Stop getting so angry, you know he can't hurt me... both you and Mari... I mean master would kill him if he tried."
She said gently before letting him go and stepping back once more. She hadn't been summoned by the guildmaster, only these two, and as much as she would be eavesdropping, she wouldn't follow them in.

Marick walked away from the scene, walking back the way he came with the group of mages still dispersed as if not daring to step in his way. Even after he'd passed they remained separated, leaving the path open for the two mages to follow behind him to his office. As the guildmaster stepped in he stopped and held the door open, waiting for the pair to make their way in. If they took too long then he sure as hell wouldn't stand around waiting for them.
