"This place sure is creepy!" Venir mumbled and rubbed up and down her arms to drive the goosebumps away. Spooky forest was certainly....spooky. Especially when waiting by yourself after hearing numerous villagers tales of the dangers that lurk within the forest. Not only did Savage Skull lurk within the forest but, "Witches, Necromancers, and Summoners-OH MY!"Venir shrieked as a bug had crawled its way up her bare thigh. Perhaps she shouldn't have worn her standard bikini for this mission. With another shriek she flicked the bug off and began pacing about warily. "This was such a bad idea!" Venir whined, "Why didn't I ask him to come along like a normal person?" Venir had yet to realize she wasn't normal.

    ~*~

Venir had been in one of her 'I'm going to die of boredom if I don't do something right now' moods and her usual way of solving that was to go on a job. There weren't many that interested her, as usual. Either the task was to mundane, to hard, to boring, or didn't pay enough. Until a certain job caught her eye. "15,000 JEWELS!?" She shrieked out loud for all of Eclipse Soul to hear. Already the pinkette was imagining everything she could do with that money. Until she read the job over. "Witches, Necromancers, and Summoners!?"The female mage gasped as she read it over, "I'm gonna need some help.....but who?"

When it came to her fellow guildmates....Venir only knew a few. Which basically meant she knew her team mates, Xierak, and a new guy. Unfortunately she couldn't track down any of them which lead to her inquiring about some of her other guild mates. Only a few of which were qualified for this job and only a few of which that might actually go with her and then only one of which who wasn't busy. She had no way of getting a hold of him herself and was to shy to ask a stranger to go on a mission with her as well. So she had to come up with some other way of getting her guild mate to join her on the job. "This'll be perfect!" The pinkette squealed as she looked over the note that she wrote herself. The handwriting looked worse then that of a child's and it was even written in pink crayon. The slightly torn note read out as:

HELP! I want to do a job but I can't do it myself. Go to Spooky Forest. Details there. If you don't go then i'll die (probably). And if I die then you'll be in trouble with the guild master (I would hope).

    XOXOXO Venir RuLush
P.S If you don't know me or what I look like flip this note. I drew a picture of me so you know who to look for~!

On the backside of the message there was indeed a personally drawn, self-portrait of Venir. It was also done in crayon and was also poorly done but it did sort of look like Venir if one looked hard enough. The pink haired mage then passed it on to another guild member who passed it on to the person that she had chosen to accompany her on this mission. Hopefully the message would reach Decayuss......
    ~*~

Which was why Venir RuLush found herself in outskirts of Spooky Forest, worrying over a partner who was more or less forced into this. If he even showed up that is. "It's getting kind of late!" Venir mumbled as she paced about. "Oh no! What if he doesn't show up!?" She gasped at the sudden realization. "Maybe I shouldn't have threatened him....or should've just asked him myself!" She scolded herself once more. Which lead to Venir once again becoming absorbed in to a loud conversation with herself, and was now once again blissfully unaware of her surroundings.

"What the Hell is this?" Deniel fipped a note sent to him on the front, and then on the back over and over again. The front side had writing that Deniel didn't even bother to read, and then on the back side it looked almost like a stick figure was drawn. Deniel was peacefully enjoying his own strawberry sundae on a table when a person randomly gave him this note. They said it was from someone else, but before Deniel could ask what in the world it said, they had walked off. And just before Deniel had finished his sundae, he was trying to decipher what in the world that thing said. After taking another spoonful of his sundae, he sighed and then held the note up close to his face. It was time for him to focus, and think as hard as he could. He started on the first word. The first letter was obviously an H, and the next one looked like....an E. The next one was easy, that was an L. So the first word was: "Help." The second one was easily an "I", since it was by itself. "HELP! I wa-....wan....want. I want to do a job. But I can't do it me...meh....mi...my...mysefl! That's it!" It was easy for him to figure out the short and easy words, since they didn't take much thought to them. IT was the ones that were more than five letters. He thought that too soon, though. Because after 'myself', he couldn't figure out what that next word was. It was two simple letters. So he looked to the one after it, which was 'to'. That must have meant that the word before that was 'go'. "HELP! I want to do a job but I can't do it myself. Go to Spee....Spaw....Spoo...Spooky. Spooky Forest!" Deniel probably wouldn't be taking his sweet time if he didn't take so long to finally figure out the entire thing. Eventually, about half an hour passed by, and he finally finished. With a deep breath, he took the last spoonful of his sundae, and read the note out loud to himself:

I drew a picture of me so you know who to look for~!

..."Oh well! She's probably dead by now!" Deniel shrugged everything off and got up from his chair. He started to walk back to his room, and thought to himself that she probably would have survied if she had just made the letter much more legible. Deniel found the wall that lead to his room, and walked straight through it. It was a fake wall, but it looked real enough. The only difference was if a person walked up to it, they would pass right through and be met with a dark passageway leading down, lit up by only candles. Deniel decended down the passge to his own hidden room. The room itself was shaped like a skull, with three pools of waters on the empty eye and nose sockets. Deniel was about to strip himself of his clothes and take a dip inside one of the pools, until his sword interrupted him. The entire time, Deniel forgot that Nidhogg was dangling at his side inside of his belt slot. "Deniel!" Deniel was in the middle of taking his coat off when he heard Nidhogg. He slipped it back on, and grinned innocently, "Yes....Nidhogg?"

"It doesn't hurt to check, now does it?" Deniel sighed and started to walk out the second exit of his room. The first once lead from the wall to his room, the second one lead from his room to the base of Phoenix Mountains. Deniel was walking at first, but he was in a race against time, so he soon began to ran, and then he muttered the words to himself: "White Angel...."

Hunting an Evil Witch [Venir and Decayuss] Empty Re: Hunting an Evil Witch [Venir and Decayuss]

Post by Mistress Venir 3rd January 2015, 7:46 pm

With Venir's short attention span and lack of patience she felt like she had been there forever. Soon boredom began to outweigh what little logic Venir had. "I'm sure he'll show up!" Venir muttered aloud as she made her way deeper into the spooky forest. Never once did it cross her mind that she might encounter the very things that she was sent here to defeat, that she alone would never be able to defeat. Nor did it ever cross her mind that she knew next to nothing about the Spooky Forest and what lurks with in it other than the obvious 'Witches, Necromancers, and Summoners' as well as Savage Skull. If the creatures that inhabited the forest didn't cross her mind than the terrain didn't either.... Well until she stepped into a particularly marshy area. "Eeeeew!" The female mage withdrew her boot from the mud and took a step back. Her bare back soon met with the rough bark of a tree and the mage began to realize the predicament she was in.

She moved to the right to only meet another tree, and then another and then another. This was where she began panicking. Everywhere she looked there was tree's, every turn she made there was more. It felt like they were closing in on her from every direction. She soon felt like it was hard to breath, her fear of enclosed spaces kicking in. She ran forcing herself between the small gaps between tree's. Old dead gray bark and branches reached out and scratched at her, grabbing at the female mage leaving little scratches here and there. She ran and ran deeper and deeper into the darkness of the forest. She ran until she could run no more and finally with a little gasp slid down to the forest floor, her back resting against a tree. Unfortunately all her running had done her little good and if anything she was more enclosed than before. Which meant Venir was still trapped within her fear of tight spaces but had neither the willpower nor stamina to get out of it. So she did the next best thing and simply hugged her knee's to her chest and talked to herself to pass the time. She kept her eyes focused on the ground in front of her in an attempt to ignore the tree's that surrounded her. How had she even managed to slip into such a tight space? "It's gonna be okay." The mage sniffled loudly as she talked to herself. "Decayuss is gonna be here any minute..."

Her noise making had attracted a poisonous snake of sorts. It was long and dark and blended in with the tree but the mage paid it no mind. She was far to focused on trying to remain calm.

Hunting an Evil Witch [Venir and Decayuss] Empty Re: Hunting an Evil Witch [Venir and Decayuss]

Post by Decayuss 3rd January 2015, 8:50 pm

As the word's White Angel exited his mouth, Deniel was starting to get closer to the exit to his room. And from the bottom of his feet, a mysterious sky-blue energy had started to engulf his body. It was transparent, meaning a person could still see Deniel's black clothes under it. The energy also released what looked like stardust and starlight, sparkles with glory and beauty. It was quite contradictory to the look Deniel had: black hair and red eyes with gothic clothing. This energy soon covered Deniel from head to toe, and even started to stretch out on his back. It made the shape of two massive wings, each even bigger than Deniel currently was. And then Deniel reached the exit to his little cave. And right on the mark between it and outside, was a sky-blue magic circle with a cross right in the center. Deniel ran straight through it, and when he came out on the other side, he was completely different. His skin, what was revealed of it on his biceps and upper thighs, was grey. A glorious white and golden trimmed armor covered his body, with several jewels. And on his back were two massive wings, and with his transformation, Deniel grew a bit, so now they were as big as him. Deniel ran out only a few paces before he jumped up into the sky, and let his wings carry him. It took him only a few seconds to reach his top speed, and by then, he zoomed across Fiore in just a matter of seconds, going all the way to the Spooky Forest. But despite his speed, he was still able to see and hear perfectly fine. He saw that she was no where near the entrance, so he dove straight into it.

A couple of seconds later, Deniel finally found her. In a dash of light, suddenly right in front of Venir, stood an angelic armored figure about six foot eight inches tall. And in his right hand was a white katana, and he was prepared to swing it right at her. And without a moment's hesitation, he did. The blade cut just above her head, perhaps even shaving off a hair or two. The tree right behind her was split in half, but more importantly, the snake creeping up behind her. The tree took a second, but eventually came tumbling down into the other ones, luckily not falling to Deniel and Venier. The snake was split in half as well, and both halves of its now lifeless corpse fell right beside Venir. Deniel stared down at her, silent. Then he spun his blade so he held it backwards, and sheathed it inside of a white scabbard on one side of his waist. On the other side of his waist, stood another sheathed katana, looking exactly like the first. Deniel lifted up his now bulky and armored arms, and took the helmet that was on his head off. His skin, instead of grey, was pale just like it normally was. His eyes were a sky-blue color, and his hair white. "You must be Venir, I'm assuming? I'm Deniel. Deniel Decayuss Thorman."

Hunting an Evil Witch [Venir and Decayuss] Empty Re: Hunting an Evil Witch [Venir and Decayuss]

Post by Mistress Venir 3rd January 2015, 9:47 pm

Not aware of the danger so close to her or the help for that matter, Venir kept her eyes focused on the ground in front of her as she mumbled to herself. She could have stayed like that for hours completely unaware of everything. In fact she would have stayed like that until a pair of white clad feet entered her field of vision. She looked up just as a blade flashed above her and a hiss was less out. Her first response was to shriek as both tree and snake fell to the ground. With yet another shriek Venir stood up and leaped away from the snakes corpse not liking the creepy looking reptile. Once done shrieking she turned her attention to the now sliced in half tree. Noticing the opening in the tree's the pinkette could only let out a relieved sigh as the tension left her. Besides there was something else here now to distract her from her rather irrational fears. The possibility that the white clad, angel look alike could have been an enemy never crossed her mind. It was becoming apparent that very few things ever crossed Venir's mind.

The female mage had to quite literally look straight up in order to see her savior's face. "So tall!" The thought was kept to herself as she eyed over the angelic looking being skeptically. When Deniel took his helmet off and spoke the female mage gasped. "Your Deniel!?"She asked with her soft green eyes narrowing as she took a step closer to inspect her fellow Eclipse Soul mage. He certainly looked familiar. She had to have seen him around the guild at least once or twice but at the same time something was off...."I probably just haven't seen him in his armor before." She had yet to realize that Deniel didn't usually have white hair or blue eyes. That bombshell would be saved for later. "I'm so glad you came! If not I would have been a goner!" The pink haired mage's relief quickly turned to an anger of sorts, "But you sure took your sweet time getting here!" She frowned before continuing. "I mean I could have been dead by now!" She scolded the man. Her anger left just as quickly as it came though. "I'm Venir RuLush by the way!" She offered a hand a smile to her guild mate, "Thanks for getting that snake and that horrible tree!" It appeared that she had forgotten as to why she had invited the man out here in the first place. Hopefully, Deniel would realize that he was working with a half-insane mage.

Hunting an Evil Witch [Venir and Decayuss] Empty Re: Hunting an Evil Witch [Venir and Decayuss]

Post by Decayuss 3rd January 2015, 11:09 pm

Deniel almost reached out his hand to Venir so they could shake, but quickly thought of it as a bad idea. He had almost forgotten the recent...alternation to his Take Over form. Now anyone who so much as touched him would slowly feel themselves weaken, and that included allies as well. He couldn't really tolerate her remark about him taking so long, though. "It's best I don't touch you. And by the way....I'd have been here sooner if it weren't for your handwriting. Seriously, I had to spend over half an hour trying to figure out what in the world that note said." With that being said, Deniel put his helmet back on. And once he did, the green jeweled eyes lit up a blue color, just like the ones of his natural eyes that were onder the helmet. In addition, every time he spoke, the helmet's jaw would move along with his, as if it were a part of its face now. Deniel took a few paces away from Venir, until he just remembered: he was here not to save her, but for a job. He reached to his backside, but ended up grabbing his piece of armor that was covering up his butt. The first thing he forget is he had no pockets for his Take Over form, and the second thing he forgot was he didn't have the description with him. He turned around and started down at Venir, and it was also at this time that he noticed how significantly taller than he was compared to her. He was normally just around six foot four, but this form made him about three times more bulky, and a few more inches taller.

He was going to ask her if she had the description, but her atture wasn't necessarily best fit for carrying a piece of paper either. Then again, there were two spots that she could have carried it in. Those boots could hold a piece of paper...and something else. Even if she didn't have the paper, perhaps she would be able to tell him verbally. "Anyway, I didn't come here so I can be your savior in white shining armor...." Deniel realized what he just said, and looked down at himself, "Nevermind. The note said that you needed help with a job, and I needed to come here for the details. You mind showing or telling me these details so I know exactly what I'm getting myself into?"

Hunting an Evil Witch [Venir and Decayuss] Empty Re: Hunting an Evil Witch [Venir and Decayuss]

Post by Mistress Venir 5th January 2015, 10:38 pm

Venir dropped her hand to her side clearly disappointed that she did not get a handshake. Handshakes were one of the few proper social greetings/formalities that she knew. Pushing those feelings aside she quickly frowned. He couldn't read her letter? She had spent what felt like hours tediously choosing each word and then carefully writing it out to make sure he could read it. She had even chosen crayon to make it look better to! Venir had yet to realize that her handwriting was atrocious no matter how long she took to carve out the letters with her crayon. She didn't respond to any of his comments though she did send him a rather skeptical look when he said he wasn't there to be her savior in white shining armor, which was exactly what he was wearing and exactly what he currently was.

When Deniel mentioned a job Venir gave him a blank look. She wracked her brain for a moment trying to see if she could come up with an answer but found none. Did she really come out here for a job? She remembered clearly that she had written out a note to Deniel but when it came to the contents of it...Well that was the fuzzy part. She herself couldn't recall anything about a job which meant that Deniel was probably, "Crazy. You're totally crazy."The half insane girl shrugged as she turned around and took a step forward. Only to trip over the new stump that Deniel had so kindly created moments earlier. With yet another shriek, the pinkette hit the ground with a thud. "That was smooth." She more or less said to herself as she rolled over onto her back. She lay there for a moment not really caring that Deniel was there to see her epic fail, her green eyes were to focused on her chest. "What's this?" She asked as she produced a torn up paper from her bikini top. Still on the ground, Venir opened up the piece of paper and read it over once and then twice and then even a third time. "I guess I did invite ya on a job!" She seemed genuinely surprised. "Says here that  we have to defeat a witch, a necromancer, and a summoner! Between the two of us this'll be easy!"Venir folded the paper back up and slipped back into her bikini top. "Any idea where a witch, necromancer, or summoner might be hiding out in this forest?" She grinned up at him from her rather comfortable spot on the ground.

Deniel crossed his arms and shook his head. This girl was definitely the crazy one, not him. Well...he was pretty crazy in his own ways. Still, he didn't really know what to say to her. On top of her calling him the crazy one, she tripped on a stump. He side-stepped and watched her fall down on the ground. He sighed and shook his head once more. This girl was something else...definitely. He stared down at her, and didn't say anything. She was crazy, insane, scared easily, and clumsy. He didn't really seem to be going anywhere with this one. However, things seemed to brighten up a bit on his part. She rolled over, and then realized that she did have the job description with her...and he was right about where it was. Either in her boot, or in her boobs. Deniel watched her scan through it a couple of times, and he was waiting for his chance to read it. She sure took a while, and once she was finished, he was about to reach out his hand so he could take it. Instead, he got quite a vague and pretty lame explanation as to what they were supposed to do. And then came a question which he had no idea how to answer. Sure, he had been out here before, but he didn't know everything about it. The worst part about this was the fact that she put it back inside of her top...which meant if he wanted to see it, he was going to have to do something bold. Deniel was conflicting with himself about whether or not he should do it, Well...it's not like she can do anything to me. And with her nature, I doubt she'd care.

With a sudden motion, Deniel bent down and reached right inside of her bikini top. "Give me that!" He grabbed on to the sheet of paper inside of her top, and pulled it right out. He probably managed to 're-adjust' her top, or pull out something else, but he didn't care. Finally with his hands on the description, Deniel opened up the piece of paper and looked through it.

    Job Description:

One read was all Deniel needed. Once he finished, he folded the letter back up and dropped it down on Venir. He turned his back to her and began to look around the forest. Her question was, indeed, a wise one. Where in the world would they find a witch? He thought back to the job description, and something came to his mind. They didn't have to find the witch...he would have to let the witch find them. Deniel stared down at himself for a second...his white shining armor with golden trims. A witch would more than likely avoid it. With a sigh, he closed his blue eyes, and then let all of his magic go. One piece at a time, Deniel's armor fell off of him and on to the ground. When one reached the ground, though, after a second or two, it would glow blue, then then fade away in the air. Almost like dust being blown away in the wind. In a few short moments, Deniel was back to his normal self. He was four inches shorter, although still much taller than Venir. But he was much more scrawny now, and his hair was black, and eyes were red. His figure was so scrawny, in fact, Venir's curves could probably make up more meat then him. And in addition, instead of two katanas at his side, he now only had one. He opened his red eyes, and looked back at Venir. "We won't find the witch...she'll find us."

From her spot on the ground, Venir watched Deniel's actions warily. Her soft green eyes watched him like a cat as he approached her. Unfortunately, he was much to fast for the pink haired mage. "Hey!" She called out though wasn't exactly angry as he snatched the job description from the inside of her top. She didn't even have the decency to blush as she adjusted her bikini top back to where it should be. Her sense of embarrassment and personal space was incredibly off compared to normal people's. "You could have just asked nicely and I would have given it to ya!" The mage puffed her cheeks out as Deniel read over the job, causing him to miss her chipmunk like expression.

"Hey watch it!" The pink haired mage flinched as Deniel dropped the job onto her, it landed right on her face. Snatching it from her face and quickly tucking it back into her top the female mage scrambled up to her feet just in time to see Deniel's armor begin to glow and then suddenly disappear. For a brief moment Venir thought the man was stripping but was relieved when she realized that he had clothes on underneath. Once his 'transformation' was complete Venir inspected the man once again. Venir seemed so confused that it looked like she was about to ask 'What'd you do to Deniel?' but her confusion quickly disappeared as she grinned. "You know you're a lot skinnier under that armor than expected!" It wasn't meant to be offensive if anything Venir was just showing how surprised she was at Deniel's change of appearance. Her mood seemed completely uplifted as she pranced about Deniel still inspecting him, poking him here and there just to make sure it was indeed him. She would have continued her antics until she heard him speak. "Wait the witch? Come to us? I knew it! You are insane!" She crossed her arms over her chest, "Why would she even come to us? I mean look at us! Do we look like bad guys to you?" She frowned as she looked Deniel over. Dark clothes? Dark hair? Red eyes? Well he at least looked like a skinny bad guy but Venir? She had bright pink hair with large feathers, and stood in a bikini, if that wasn't good and friendly then Venir didn't know what was. She wasn't exactly bad guy material at least in the looks department, in the sanity department she probably was. "Besides if she comes to us then we lose the element of surprise!"

Deniel wasn't offended by her calling him skinny. He knew for a fact that he was, although he didn't mind the figure. Despite it, he was still a lot stronger than most people he knew, more than likely even her. And a skinnier figure was a lot better looking than a hulking mass of muscle. He was a little bit annoyed with her movements, though. He didn't particularly like being poked, but since he wasn't in his Angel form, there wasn't any harm to do to her. His red eyes followed her wherever she went around him, and he stood almost completely still. There wasn't any harm done... What Deniel did take to offense, though, was her calling him insane...again. Deniel frowned, and wondered what in the world was up with this girl. He raised his eyebrow at her, and was almost tempted to say: "Are you serious?" when she said that they didn't look like bad guys. Maybe she didn't, but he sure as Hell did. Deniel figured at this point that she was beyond any form of reason unless she was able to comprehend what was being told to her. "If you paid attention more, then you would know why I have that suggestion." Deniel sounded much more level-headed and callous than he did before, especially in his angel form. He almost sounded like he didn't care about much things. She didn't put the job description back in her top, so it was on the ground. He leaned down, picked it up, and unfolded it. His eyes scanned down it until he reached a particular section. When he reached it, he began to look at it more closely.

Upon finishing his inspection, Deniel smirked and closed his eyes. He gave a nod, and then held the job description out in front of her so she could read it....if she could. "The person who wrote this clearly states that the witch lured the caravans into a trap, causing their demise. If we simply appear to be normal people, maybe we'll be lucky enough to be caught in her trap as well." Deniel didn't really trust Venir with the piece of paper, so for now, he folded it up and stuck it in his back pocket. Before she could object to him though, he spoke up again to see if he could clear up anything her insane little mind was thinking...if she had a mind. "We will still have the element of surprise, since this witch won't know who we really are. She'll just think we're victims, and that's when we spring the news on her." After saying that, Deniel drew his katana from its scabbard. It was no longer white, as it was now blacker than the night. So dark, it might have been completely invisible if it weren't for the shine on the blade from reflecting what little light The Spooky Forest gave it. Deniel put his sword's tip between his middle and ring finger, making sure the blade was facing UP so he wouldn't cut himself. "And I'm not just defeating this witch...I'm killing her!" When the word 'killing' came out of his mouth, Deniel stabbed his sword through the gap in his two fingers, "Straight into her heart. If she has one." He spun his sword backwards, and sheathed it back inside of his scabbard.

    "Any questions?"

Hunting an Evil Witch [Venir and Decayuss] Empty Re: Hunting an Evil Witch [Venir and Decayuss]

Post by Mistress Venir 10th January 2015, 11:09 pm

"Hey! I pay attention!" Venir puffed out her cheeks once more, "Sometimes....". Truth be told she only paid attention if it was something 'fun' or 'life threatening'. Anything in between those two meant that it had a 50/50 chance of getting ignored or obsessed over. Unfortunately, for Deniel there was no middle grounds for those two when it came to Venir. At least it seemed like she was paying attention to Deniel's words after he had called her out on her lack of attention. "So what your saying is.....We get a caravan....Look like civilians and when this witch comes and tries to get all witch on us we...we kick her butt and-"Venir stopped mid-sentence as her eyes spotted the katana that Deniel held. Not only was it difficult to get her attention it was also difficult to hold her attention.

To be fair though Venir hadn't really seen a blade like Deniel's before. It was simply so dark especially compared to how white it had been earlier. Not to mention how the light shined ever so slightly off the dark blade, it was rather eye catching. The blade only captivated her for a moment. It was Deniel's words and actions that soon taken a hold of Venir. His words were strangely empowering until he realized that they actually were gonna kill another living creature. Sure it was a bad creature and had been tormenting the caravans and countless people but....to simply take its life away? Even if it was heartless did that mean it was okay? She hadn't exactly taken away another creatures life before, at least not to her knowledge. She'd hurt people that was for sure but actually killing them was another thing Then Deniel made a stabbing motion with the sword causing Venir to go pale. "Nope. No Sir. No Questions...Hehehe..."She couldn't stop the bubble of nervous laughter from escaping from her throat. On one hand something inside of her was telling her it was wrong but on the other hand something else was telling this was to be expected when doing jobs. Yet Venir wasn't able to speak up and tell Deniel this, he was her guild mate and she should be comfortable with him but there was a distance of sorts between the two. "Let's just hurry up and lure in this witch so we can uh....you know."

Deniel nodded in approval to Venir. He needed to clear up this serious and somewhat sensitive issue with her before he needed to continue. "Good, because some people aren't as understanding..." Deniel's eyebrows angled themselves to the point where he looked worried, almost even sad. And he looked down at the ground as well, showing off some sensitive feelings of his. "I know it's wrong. And I know I shouldn't. But...I can't help it. It's almost like I've become addicted to it, ever since I escaped, and my Take Overs make it worse...they can twist my mind and--" Deniel shook his head, and looked back up at Venir. He was telling her a little too much, and getting off on a tangent. "Anyway. Let's keep moving. We don't necessarily need a caravan, we just need this witch to find us. Come on." With that, Deniel started to walk away from Venir. He didn't look back to check if she was still following him. He wanted to find this witch, kick her ass, and most likely kill her. But in order to do that, Deniel needed to get a sense of where exactly he was. He motioned his hand behind him, in case she was still there, for her to stop. Then he held up one finger to signal he was going to take only a few moments to do what he was about to do. Deniel approached the nearest tree, and started to climb it almost as fast as a monkey. Deniel made his way through the branches and leaves to as high as he could go, and then peaked out above the forest.

He looked around, and saw Phoenix Mountains to his left, the Graveyard Sea to his right, and the Haunted Village the direction he was facing. Nearly. He nodded and then jumped down all the way from the top of the tree. He landed on the ground, on both of his feet, with a thud, and looked at Venir. "We're headed in the right direction. If we keep going, we're bound to find our witch." Deniel started to head in the direction he was before. There probably wasn't much of a point to doing what he just did in Venir's eyes, but it was very helpful in Deniel's. It let him know they were going the right way, just how far away they were, and about hwo much time it would take for them to get there. Upon walking for a few more minutes, Deniel could smell something in the air. Something that was filled with danger and darkness. He pretended that he didn't notice, but he still kept himself on-guard. At this point, anything could happen to them, so he had to prepare for the worst.

Hunting an Evil Witch [Venir and Decayuss] Empty Re: Hunting an Evil Witch [Venir and Decayuss]

Post by Mistress Venir 11th January 2015, 7:24 pm

Venir winced as Deniel spoke about how understanding she was. "But I'm not!" She wanted to cry out but instead the thought was kept to herself, something inside her telling her to keep quiet. It was like a war in her brain, one side telling her killing was wrong another side saying it was fine. It was such a headache! To distract herself from her inner battle, Venir focused on Deniel and found herself frowning. If he thought it was wrong then why would he still do it? Once again Venir wanted to speak but found herself struggling to. It was unlike her to not speak what was on her mind but it was also unlike her to feel so, so uncomfortable. Never before had she struggled with such inner turmoil, at least not to her knowledge. She certainly had no words to give Deniel and instead remained uncharacteristically quiet and somber.

Venir had been following Deniel like zombie and nearly collided into him when he stopped. She didn't even have a chance to protest or question Deniel before he began to climb the tree. With awe she watched him climb the tree faster than she could ever hope to let alone dream of. The pinkette had no idea why he went up there but she figured Deniel must have had some reason or anther to climb the tree. Soon enough Venir was left alone down on the ground. She shivered not liking the feeling that the place was giving her. It was like she was being watched. Shivering once more Venir turned and glanced about her surroundings not spotting anything suspicious. Just as she was starting to relax a bit, Deniel had landed in front of her causing her to shriek in surprise. She clutched her chest with one hand feeling as if she almost had a heart attack, "It's not very nice to climb tree's to scare people!" She scolded but followed after Deniel. The silence between them was making Venir feel even more uncomfortable, silence after all bothered her. "So about that thing you were talking about earlier!" Venir figured she might as well pry into her companions past, perhaps she could talk him out of killing the witch. "You know the take-over thing?" Were the take overs the cause of this addiction to killing?

Post by Decayuss 11th January 2015, 7:39 pm

Deniel stopped in his tracks once again, and remained there. He didn't say a word, nor did he look at Venir. A scowl was on his face, and he wasn't too sure about completing his story. He felt like it was a mistake beginning it, anyway. He clenced his fist, almost thinking about threatening Venir for bringing it up to him again. Deniel... Deniel's sword spoke to his mind, and just in the nick of time, too. He spoke on his mind so Venir couldn't hear, and he wanted to keep the conversation private. There's not much harm in it. You've already let yourself be discovered. You don't have to be secretive anymore, remember? Nothing to fear." Nidhogg was right. Deniel didn't really have anything to fear. He kept hismelf a secret from the guild, and that didn't turn out too well. Keeping actual secrets from them probably wouldn't turn out well either. He relaxed his hand, and turned to Venir. He could still smell the stench of something dark and powerful in the air, but they didn't seem to be getting closer to it. Stopping and chatting for a bit wasn't that bad. "Alright, I guess I can give ya' that much." Deniel walked over to the nearest tree again, and sat down on its stump. He had his left leg extended out, and his right leg brought in so his right arm could rest on it. He shifted himself a bit, and then began his small story.

"I'll get to the Take Overs later. For now, I'll give you the initial reason. I was brought up and raised in a prison." Deniel's very first part was very blunt, and it made him seem like much more of a bad guy than he was already. But he held up his hand in case Venir was going to say something so he could continue. "I don't know what I did wrong. I was only six...or eight. Can't remember which. Anyway, I was brought up in this prison, and it turned me into the man I am today. Mostly. It strengthed my mind and nearly broke my spirit. On the day that I escaped, I sent the whole place crashing and burning to the ground. And that was the first time I had actually killed someone, for revenge. I don't know why, but it felt amazing, and I had no regrets. That place changed me forever. If it weren't for Vergil, I'd be an insane psychopath along with my amazing strength. In other words: I probably wouldn't be talking to you like I am now if it weren't for Vergil."

Deniel took a small pause, so he could collect his thoughts, and then he resumed. "Ever since that first kill, and the day I burned that prison down to the ground, I have had an insatiable hunger...perhaps even a lust, for adventure and danger. That's why I love to go on jobs. I don't do it for the jewels, or for the people, or whatever! I do it because to me, it's fun. It gives me that tingly feeling inside of me. And when it comes to killing people, it's almost like in that instant, what I'm feeling becomes twice as better. So you see, I kill because I'm addicted to when I do it. And my Take Overs make it worse because, like I said, they twist my mind. I'm me, and not me at the same time...the urge to kill, and the craving, get much worse." Deniel was finally finished talking. Once he was, he gave out a sigh, and looked up at Venir. All he did was shrug, and let her say what she wanted. It was more than likely going to be negative, but he didn't care. He deserved it.

Hunting an Evil Witch [Venir and Decayuss] Empty Re: Hunting an Evil Witch [Venir and Decayuss]

Post by Mistress Venir 11th January 2015, 8:20 pm

When Deniel stopped once more, Venir nearly collided into him again. She would have spoken up about his habit of suddenly stopping but she had at least enough sense in her to notice his sudden change in mood. He appeared even more grouchy and unfriendly than before, if that was possible. Venir took a way step back wanting to give him space. Perhaps bringing that up wasn't the best of idea's. She was just about to say 'never mind' when Deniel agreed to telling her a bit about himself. Shock was written across her face as she sat on the ground, criss-cross apple sauce in front of Deniel. She looked much like a child eager to hear a bed time story. However this was no bedtime story. One sentence into his story and Venir already had her mouth open to say something but was silenced by the raise of Deniel's hand. She listened to his telling about the prison, nodding her head here and there to show that she was paying attention. In Deniel's slight pause Venir was going to ask about 'Vergil' but Deniel started speaking once more, effectively silencing the pinkette. The next part struck a chord somewhere deep inside of her. She could relate after all, she took jobs for entertainment and lived for thrill and adventure. Deniel had his own reasons for loving adventure, reasons that were far beyond what she could comprehend but it was still enough that Venir could relate to the dark haired male.

Venir stood up as Deniel finished his story. A lot of things had popped up in her mind. A lot of things she wanted to say. Who was 'Vergil'? What happened in the prison? Countless questions about killing popped into her head as well. However out of all of the chaos in Venir's head, only one thing managed to make it out. "I understand." Sitting down Deniel wasn't taller than Venir, so she had easy access to give him a pat on the head. She may not have meant it in the way Deniel might perceive it as but it was the thought that counts right? With a smile he gave him another pat to the head before quickly retracting her hand feeling as if he might tear it off for touching him. Though she felt a little closer to her guild mate she wasn't about to push her luck with him and his tolerance to her antics.

Hunting an Evil Witch [Venir and Decayuss] Empty Re: Hunting an Evil Witch [Venir and Decayuss]

Post by Decayuss 11th January 2015, 8:41 pm

Instead of getting something that he expected, like being called a monster, descpicable, or even childish, all Venir said was that she understood. Deniel looked at her in a bit of shock, but then his eyes narrows. She couldn't have. Deniel's story was somewhat vague, and he didn't tell her everything. She was just pretending to be nice...or she really was. Either way, it was much better than being mean. After that, Deniel received a pat on the head, which he didn't mind. In fact, it kind of gave him a comforting thought. Back to him living with Vergil. Vergil would often pat Deniel on the head, or give him comfort in some way, shape, or form. Deniel closed his red eyes, and even gave a smile. He seemed to be daydreaming after she pat him on the head, almost, and a smile hadn't appeared on his face until now. Suddenly he realized what he was doing, and she was still wathcing. His eyes shot open, and he shook his head. "What!? I.....uh. Yeah. Right...let's keep going." Deniel stood up and brushed himself off. He didn't entirely believe that Venir understood what he was talking about, but it could have been worse. Deniel then looked around himself, and then realized he didn't know where he was going. He started to look around in circles, but didn't really say anything. He was lost, but didn't want to admit it. "Ummm...we went that way! No! That way! This way! No...I'm pretty sure it was that way!"

Deniel started to get frustrated in himself. He pretty much rewinded his throughts, and his movements. He turned to the tree he sat against, and then started to walk backwards. He got himself a fixed himself in a position, and that's where he was going. He nodded, and then started forward again. He figured out where he was supposed to go, and now that all of that was out of the way, he felt much more confident about what lay before him and Venir. So confident, that he was no longer frowning, or scowling or anything like that. There was a smirk on his face, a cocky one, and that basically meant that whatever challenge was ahead of him, he would take it. Venir had successfully driven Deniel's anger and frustration out for the time being. But, that probably wouldn't last long seeing how Deniel planned to use another Take Over while he was very wicked. In fact...as the thought crept to his mind, something on his outside changed.

Deniel's shadow, which had been projected behind him, and perhaps on Venir if she got too close, changed shape. Deniel himself remained the same, but his shadow had begun to grow a little bit more muscle, armor on its shoulders, and more distinctly...wings. Wings like a beetle on his back, very insect-like. His shadow's hands had become clawed, too, and Deniel's coat was no longer there. Two horns were coming out of the sides of his shadow's head, and curved inward. And finally, as one last thing...his shadow had eyes. A pair of red eyes, like Deniel's except they were pure red. No other color. Just a glowing red, and they seemed like they were staring straight at Venir from the ground.

Hunting an Evil Witch [Venir and Decayuss] Empty Re: Hunting an Evil Witch [Venir and Decayuss]

Post by Mistress Venir 13th January 2015, 9:57 pm

Venir didn't notice a lot of things but she was able to notice the slight smile on Deniel's face. Having been born and raised in a circus, Venir had been raised to appreciate others smiles and make them smile. To see Deniel smile was like an accomplishment of sorts. It was obvious just by looking at the man that he didn't smile often, Venir didn't even have to be sane to realize that. Considering this a tiny victory, for Deniel's sake, Venir chose not to comment on it. She'd bombard him with questions and comments later at a more 'appropriate' time. She followed him along like a lost puppy. She herself didn't seem to notice that they had been walking around in circles for a while. Her own sense of direction wasn't exactly great and she often got to places from blind luck or with help. "Maybe we should go this way?" Venir simply added in her own opinion for the sake of adding her own opinion in. There was no rhyme or reason to the direction in which she pointed, she simply pointed. At least Deniel didn't listen to any suggestions the pinkette had made. After all, when they were back where they had previously spoken, the entire place seemed unfamiliar to her.

Unaware of Deniel's change in attitude, Venir seemed as chirpy as ever as she skipped behind him. She was half tempted to start whistling to drive off the silence so that's exactly what she did. It was a merry tune for a rather merry girl such as Venir. The bikini clad mage whistled for a long time as both her and Deniel pushed on towards the Haunted Village. Venir stole a quick glance down at the ground as she was stepping over a fallen tree, that's when she spotted it. She didn't really notice it at first and continued on her merry way until it clicked. Once it clicked Venir did a double take looking to the ground once more and Deniel's shadow. "Deniel!" Before Venir could voice her concern, she tripped and fell flat on her face. Once she got back up the pink haired mage quickly noticed something in the distance, "Hey that's the village!" If the woods were creepy to Venir then the village was even creepier. Having temporarily forgotten the shadow incident or simply not wanting to recall the scary red eyes, Venir instead focused on the task at hand. "So we just walk in there and beat the witch up?"

Post by Decayuss 16th January 2015, 8:19 pm

Deniel sniffed the air. He could smell the evil; it was even stronger now. He was getting nearer and nearer to the source. Deniel saw the village ahead of him and Venir, and then he heard a thud behind him. Deniel turned to see that Venir fell flat on her face. He shook his head and closed his eyes, and she noticed the village, too. Deniel turned back to the village in the distance. The stench of evil was in the air. Venir had a pretty dumb question, in his opinion. Deniel shook his head, "The witch isn't in the village, remember? She simply stops people from getting in." Just as Deniel said that, the village completey vanished from sight as the forest darkened. Mist surrounded Deniel and Venir, and the trees around them began to wither. Deniel backed up to Venir, and as odd as it might have been, he held on to her hand. "Stay close to me. I'll protect you." Deniel heard laughter, and it was that of a female. Surprisingly enough, it didn't sound like a wicked old lady...it sounded, young, beautiful, but still evil. Right before Deniel and Venir, appeared three figures. The trees around Deniel and Venir began to seemingly back away, which made room for a battle ground. Behind the three figures was a cauldron up on a small altar. Deniel heard the laughter again. The three shadowy figures in front of Deniel and Venir began to take shape, and show some color.

The witch, as Deniel suspected, was quite a beautiful woman. Despite her purple hair and red eyes, her skin was completely flawless, along with a very busty figure. She wore a purple dress, and a typical witch hat. Her nails weren't unnaturally long, but actually well-done. For being a witch, she sure was pretty. And then there were the two at her side. Each of them were wearing cloaks, one was green, and the other was red. Purple, green, and red...The summoner, the one in the green, had matching hair and blue eyes. Most of his body was covered up in his cloak. The one in red, the summoner, had very long black hair, going down to his waist, and a pair of red eyes to Deniel. Deniel didn't show any signs of fear, and in fact, he let go of Venir. Now that he knew where his opponents were, there was nothing to even fear at all. "Well, well, well, what do we have here?" Her voice was echoed, and a little bit cold, but it was still sweet. "A couple, perhaps? You know...these woods are dangerous." The witch walked up the altar to where her cauldron was, and her two subordinates stepped forward. Deniel crossed his arms and then rolled his eyes. The witch nodded at the necromancer, who stepped forward once more and began to conjure up a spell. Deniel didn't make a move, and he held his hand in front of Venir to show that she shouldn't, either. Red magic energy was conjured up in between his hands, and then sent to Deniel.

Deniel made no attempt to dodge the spell, but stayed completely still. The necromancer pointed his hand at Venir, "Attack!" Deniel only crossed his arms again, and stood there. The necromancer pointed at Venir again, and then again. Deniel still didn't move. Instead, a smirk came across his face. Deniel's weird shadow suddenly burst out of the ground, and then seemingly absorbed itself inside of Deniel's body. Deniel's skin then turned into black scales, his fingers to claws, his eyes going completely red, bug-like wings on his back, and two horns sticking out his his head. His form was much more demonic, contradictory to his angelic form from earlier. Deniel opened his red eyes, and clenched his fist. The first thing that came out his mouth, was an inhuman roar.

Hunting an Evil Witch [Venir and Decayuss] Empty Re: Hunting an Evil Witch [Venir and Decayuss]

Post by Mistress Venir 17th January 2015, 9:46 am

The moment the forest darkened Venir took a step closer to Deniel, obviously worried. Though the two hadn't exactly known each other long the hand holding was rather comforting to her. "Sounds good." Venir gave Deniel's hand a squeeze to reassure herself as the laughter came. Under normal circumstances the female mage adored the sound of laughter but not this kind. This was not laughing with someone this was laughing at someone, it was mean and cruel even to someone like Venir. The beautiful witch, mysterious summoner, and dark necromancer had now appeared and Venir briefly noted that Deniel had let go of her hand. She suddenly felt vulnerable but the female mage wasn't about to voice that. "Come on you're a big girl Venir! You're a thrill seeker who's not afraid to lose her life! Don't be afraid of these guys!" A little mental pep-talking and Venir was back to normal, sort of. "Couple? Gross!" Venir mumbled under her breath doing her best to not be afraid, as long as she kept herself distracted she would be fine.

Venir was in the middle of trying to dig out her marbles when the necromancer appeared to be charging up an attack of sorts. Venir didn't move just as Deniel had motioned for her not to but that didn't stop her from flinching. Soft green eyes opened up and briefly noted that all eight of her marbles were floating in front of her. "Huh I wonder when I got those out?" Then she noted that neither her nor Deniel appeared to be harmed. Once again the necromancer flung an attack at them and Venir flinched. By the third attack Venir at least stopped flinching. However a shadow burst from the ground and the pinkette was back to screaming like a little girl somewhere in her frightened state she managed to yell "Expand!". Two of her marbles expanded out to their full size both of them nearly four meter in diameter weighing fifty pounds each. "Deniel?" Venir asked the demon like creature that stood where her guild member once stood. The summoner took a wary step back at the demons sudden appearance but the necromancer and witch seemed relatively unphased by the man's transformation and roar.

Post by Decayuss 17th January 2015, 10:52 am

"Damn it! Why didn't it work!?" The necromancer thought out loud, but Deniel still didn't make a move. He stood still after his roar, but then a smirk appeared on his face. With a more demonic look on him, his smirk never looked so unfriendly. His sharp teeth beneath his lips were showing, and he just looked like he was about to do something terrible. "So...it works, after all. You can't control the will of the Devil, Necromancer. Especially not The Black Devil!" Upon saying the last three works, Deniel's wings lifted themselves up, and began to rattle like crazy. In a moment's notice, Deniel was gone from Venir's side, and right in front of the necromancer. One thing to also note about Deniel's new form was his sword. It was no longer a black katana at his side, but now...it was hard to tell what it was. It was a broadsword, that was for sure. But it was covered up in demonic skin, save for the sharp part of the blade, and it had a large glowing red eye in the center. The blade curved all the way down to the handle, getting much narrower once it reached it. The handle itself was brown, with molten cracks in it. And all in all...it was a huge sword. Despite its size, Deniel drew it from his back with one hand, and brought it down to the necromancer. Before it reached the necromancer, the summoner had stepped in to help his ally. Instead of the necromancer, Deniel's sword landed on a skeleton, which stopped its path.

The skeleton crumbled at Deniel's might, but his attack had still been stopped. And then Deniel felt a like sting in his back area, and at his sides. He looked around to see four more skeletons around them. Two of which had weapons stabbed at his sides, and one cut at Deniel's back area. Despite the sounds, which didn't seem to fatal, Deniel didn't even flinch. He clenched his sword in his hand, and with one swing, he cut all of the skeletons around him in half. When he looked back at the necromancer, it was gone. And then Deniel felt yet another sting at his back. Deniel turned to see the necromancer, conjuring up another attack, which was a ball of dark energy. Deniel ran to his target, which launched the orb at him again. Deniel simply ignored the blow, again, not flinching. Deniel raised his sword, and just when it seemed like he was going to cut his foe in half, something stopped him. The necromancer had been standing right beside a tree, and before Deniel attacked him, the roots of the tree sprung up and caught him in place. The necromancer ran past Deniel, and looked at Venir. "Hurry! Before he breaks free!" The summoner stared at Deniel, who was already snapping and breaking the roots that were snaring his body. The necromancer made the same spell he used on Deniel at the very beginning, and just as he did, Deniel broke free.

The necromancer shot it at Venir, and it was his mind-controlling spell. It didn't affect Deniel, but it might have been more affective on his partner...and he was sure that would shake him up and leave him open.

Hunting an Evil Witch [Venir and Decayuss] Empty Re: Hunting an Evil Witch [Venir and Decayuss]

Post by Mistress Venir 18th January 2015, 8:28 pm

While Deniel went at the necromancer, Venir wasn't simply standing around and watching. Though of course she would have loved to simply stand watch Deniel in his new and interesting but terrifying form. The witch however had a different idea for the pink haired mage. "Eeeek!" Venir screeched and leaped back as a bolt of lightning struck the spot in which she used to stand. For a brief moment Venir and the witch held eye contact, ruby red clashed with emerald green. Venir couldn't help but shudder feeling the witched obvious distaste for everything which Venir represented. Much to Venir's surprised the witch didn't used a second bolt of lightning or any other attack, which should have caused Venir to be a little suspicious. Yet suspicion wasn't something Venir was capable of. Taking a few cautious steps back, her marbles floating with her, Venir kept her eyes trained on the witch. Until finally she realized that it was a little too quiet.

"Huh?" She looked around and immediately realized why it was so quiet. Deniel was gone? "No that's impossible." Yet no matter how many times Venir looked over the scene in front of her, she could not spot her guild mate. The witch stood there smirking now as she glowered at Venir, the summoner as well, and the necromancer wasn't in sight. It was like they were all laughing at her abandonment. "He left me?" Venir muttered seemingly shoked. "No this is just some joke! Hahaha verry funny Deniel! Now come out.... He's a guildmate! He wouldn't just leave-"Venir suddenly stopped, clutching at her head. Something felt wrong but she couldn't place it. Nor could she even properly focus on it for long as something else had taken her minds attention. "This is why you shouldn't trust anyone. They betray you."The little voice in the back of her head whispered to her, stirring back to life. It wasn't the first time she had such a dark thought but because she was currently living through one of her worst fears well it had a bit more effect than usual. "This is why I can't trust anyone. They always betray me! They always leave me behind!" Venir shook her head, her cheerful attitude dampening noticeably. "He left me here to die!" She looked up at three enemies before her. In a sudden fit of anger she forced the two large marbles to fly towards the summoner and witch.

Hunting an Evil Witch [Venir and Decayuss] Empty Re: Hunting an Evil Witch [Venir and Decayuss]

Post by Decayuss 19th January 2015, 11:45 am

Once Deniel freed himself from the vines, he stared at Venir. She seemed to be confused about something, about Deniel leaving. If he had eyebrows in his Black Devil form, he would have rasied them. But the way one eye lowered itself and the other one seemed to get a bit wider sure showed what happened. Deniel looked around, but couldn't find the necromancer anywhere. He clenched his hand tighter around Armageddon's hilt. "Cowardly bastard! Venir! I'm right here, are you blind!?" Despite Deniel calling out to her, Venir still didn't seem to notice him. "HEY! DUMBASS, I'M OVER HERE!" He was a lot more harsh in that statement. She still didn't seem to notice him, though. It didn't take a genius to know that the necromancer had something to do with it, but Deniel couldn't find him. Deniel started to get annoyed of Venir's accusations of him leaving her as well. Deniel did find it a little bit interesting, though. Of course someone as insane as Venir had a dark side, and perhaps even a dark past. Her trust issues were almost like Deniel's, which must have meant she was betrayed or left in the past. But Deniel didn't really have the time to think too much of psychology right now. She started to attack the witch and the summoner with her...marbles or whatever. He admitted they looked strong, but if he simply left her there, she would probably die just like she said.

Deniel didn't know what to do, though. He was immune to illusions and magic effects that fall under the category of controlling a person's mind or emotions...but she wasn't. How could he fix it? Her thoughts and accusations still made his skin crawl. And it was even worse for her to be saying such things in his Black Devil form. He was more...vulnerable to anger while in it. Deniel clenched his fist harder and harder, until he couldn't take it anymore. He was just about ready to explode, and that's exactly what he did...on Venir. In a moment's notice, he was right in front of the female mage. His eyes were glowing a bright red, and his teeth were clenched in so much anger and frustration. Without a moment's hesitation, and without holding back, Deniel sent his scaled fist right to Venir's cheek. "SNAP OUT OF IT, YOU BITCH!?" Deniel didn't know if she could still hear or see him or not, but he didn't care. "DO YOU ALWAYS ASSUME THE WORST!? YOU GET HIT BY A SPELL AND SEE ME GONE, AND THE FIRST THING YOU THINK OF IS I ABANDONED YOU!? STOP WALLOWING IN YOUR PAST AND SELF PITY! GET UP AND FIGHT LIKE A WARRIOR, OR STAY DOWN, AND DIE LIKE A COWARD!" As if the punch weren't enough, Deniel was also very tempted to hit Venir again, but he doubted that she would survive such a blow.

He was a very strong person, even stronger in his Black Devil form, and he didn't hold back. Venir would probably be feeling the punch for days, maybe even a week. Deniel didn't care, though. He did something like this similar to Viola. Regardless of them being guildmates, that was more of a reason to him. He needed them to toughen up and step up as well. In addition, Deniel had also given Venir a little something: 2 Bloodlust stacks. In a bit, Venir would be feel pain once again, about equivalent to a B rank spell. wDeniel looked back at the Summoner, and the witch...and now he could see the necromancer. His anger was far from gone. "NOW....IT'S YOUR TURN!"

Hunting an Evil Witch [Venir and Decayuss] Empty Re: Hunting an Evil Witch [Venir and Decayuss]

Post by Mistress Venir 20th January 2015, 9:06 pm

One of the marbles managed to hit their target, the witch who was taken by surprise, but it was only a slight graze causing the marble to continue on into the dark forest, demolishing all in its way. The marble sent towards the summoner missed completely since the summoner dodged. That marble also went flying into the forest leaving Venir with nothing but her six small marbles for defense. Not that they really did her much good for the summoner that stood in front of her, seething in....anger? Before she could ponder over the summoner and his strange emotion, she was hit.

The hit was enough to send Venir onto the ground, clutching her throbbing cheek. For a moment she saw stars and maybe even blacked out for a second or two. She could taste blood in her mouth and was quick to spit it out onto the ground. Her head was pounding whether from the blow or confusion she did not know. "They hurt you!" The thought echoed again but another one soon took its place, "They help you!". There it was the mental arguing adding more confusion to Venir's already chaotic head. At least things didn't feel wrong anymore to Venir. Soft green eyes already welling up with tears looked up towards the person who hit her and quickly widened. "Deniel?"It appeared as if she wouldn't be able to figure out that she was under a spell of sorts. The hit hurt pretty bad but the words stung even more. "I....I um..."She couldn't get the words out as the man yelled at her. All she could do was sit there clutching her cheek as pathetic as ever. "I'm sorry..." Venir apologized figuring that was all she could say at this point though it was hard to say if she was sincere or not. Her deep rooted fear of abandonment wouldn't simply go away with just this alone but she wasn't about to say that to him. Pushing both fear, pain, and confusion back to the deep dark corners of her mind, Venir attempted to stand. Her legs were wobbly and a new wave of dizziness overcame her as she got back up to her feet.

None the less Venir stood up, as tall and as strong as she was going to get for the time being. She made sure to put some distance between her and Deniel obviously gaining a fear of sorts for him. At least he seemed to intent on taking his rage out on their shared enemies. "Return!" She called out, the two marbles that had traveled away from her zoomed back at their masters command. They returned to their regular size now but they were faster in this form. The two marbles collided into the back of the unaware necromancer causing him to go flying towards Deniel.

Hunting an Evil Witch [Venir and Decayuss] Empty Re: Hunting an Evil Witch [Venir and Decayuss]

Deniel had no regrets. What he said was harsh, and possibly even a bit too harsh. But none of that really mattered to him. His harshness was necessary in his opinion, and would be helpful in the long run. Deniel could have glanced back at her, but he felt like that might make it worse and scare her more. Regardless, she did decided to help him out a bit. The very first one of them he wanted to go for was the necromancer, anyway, just so he couldn't do that annoying spell for him. Venir had the kindness to knock him towards her. And if she wasn't dizzy anymore, and could see clearly, he was about to show her the true nature of his brutality. Once the necromancer reached him, Deniel held out his hand so he could stop him. A smirk appeared on his face once more, showing off his fangs. It was a very devilish smirk, too. The first thing Deniel did was raise his massive sword with a single hand, and send it down diagonally to the necromancer. The blow sent blood everywhere, but Deniel still wasn't done. Once his blade came all the way down past the necromancer's waist, he turned it around, and sent it up the right side of his body. After it came up, Deniel pulled it back, and then thrust it forward. His blade peirced through his chest, and went all the way through, too. All three of his attacks happened only a few moments, and it was over before it seemed to have begun. The necromancer was mainly silent, as life escaped his body, and it was left a lifeless husk. Deniel dug his blade out, and let the body drop.

Deniel looked up immediately after the body dropped, and saw several spells heading his way. Deniel covered his face with both of his arms in an X shape to shield himself as best as he could. The first thing that hit his scaley skin was a lightning bolt, followed up by two fireballs. Deniel was about to move his arms away, when another lightning bolt hit him. Deniel didn't expect much, but he got even less. He wasn't even remotely hurt by what just happened. He lowered his arms and looked at himself...he was okay. He seemed almost confused, but didn't care. His body was just that durable, he supposed. Deniel looked back at Venir, and pointed at the summoner. Then he pointed at himself, and then at the witch. It was his way of telling her that he wanted her to attack, or distract, the summoner, while he dealt with the witch. Once Deniel turned around, he started to slowly walk over to the witch standing on an altar with her cualdron. She panicked, and didn't seem to know what to do. She sent lightning bolt after lightning bolt to him, but Deniel didn't even flinch. He just kept walking, and walking.
