"You're kidding me right?" Venir shouted mentally to afraid to question Deniel aloud. Clutching her stinging cheek Venir gave a tiny, almost inaudible whine as she turned to face the summoner. Lightning flashed to her right, where Deniel was approaching the witch. Her gaze flickered over to make sure her guild mate was still okay before returning to face the summoner. While Deniel frightened her, she still had to look out for her guild mate. The summoner didn't seem to worried about Venir but still remained his distance from her. The summoner simply summoned five skeletons, each coming forth from a dark light before he returned his attention to the witch preparing to cast a spell of some sorts. "No you don't!" Venir grimaced and sent all eight of her average sized marbles forward. One marble hit each of the skeletons, and the fragile beings shattered instantly. Three of the marbles smacked into the summoner stopping him from casting a supportive spell. "Don't worry about her!" Venir called out, her marbles returning to her side at her will. "This is between you and me!" Venir grimaced instead of grinning, the pain in her cheek wanting no part in any smiles. The summoner rubbed his forehead, where the marbles had struck him and proceeded to summon three zombies. "Eeeew! Those smell horrible!" Venir took a step back from the rotting and decaying creatures.

Venir winced and took a shaky step back at Deniel's show of brutality. With each slice of the blade she winced and soon enough she had to avert her gaze. If she didn't look then that means Deniel didn't kill someone in front of her. It was a silly way of thinking but it made the whole thing seem somewhat better to Venir. Luckily, the violence was over before Venir could really even blink an eye. The blood however was still there when she returned her gaze to Deniel. The mere sight of the oozing red liquid made Venir shiver and almost want to throw up. On one hand something inside of her felt disgusted and almost repulsed that someone's life was just taken away even if that person was a necromancer. On the other hand another part of her was almost thrilled at the idea. Leaving the pinkette utterly confused, disgusted, and almost excited at the same time.

Deniel got closer and closer to the witch, and it didn't seem like he was going to be stopped. He took one step after the other, and his body took one blow after the other. They hit in a variety of areas: his chest, his shoulders, his arms, and even down at his thighs. No matter where he was hit, however, Deniel kept on moving. He might have flinched once, but that was about it. If he got hit in the shoulder, his body twisted to the side it was hit, but he kept on going. Eventually, as Deniel was getting very close, something different happened. The witch conjured up another spell out of fear, and then shot it somewhere she hadn't aimed before...Deniel's face. For the first time, Deniel actually grunted at getting hit, and it threw him back a bit. The witch smirked as if she had one, but she had done the complete opposite. Deniel was still standing, and all she did was give him a bloody nose. As Deniel's demonic, crimson red blood ran down his nose and on to the floor, he stood silent, and completely still. Deniel finally made a small movement. He held his hand up to his nose, and let a little bit of his blood trickle on there. Then he stared down at his hand: the black scaled hand with sharp claws on its fingertips. And on this black hand were crimson spots of blood, his very own blood. He looked back up at the witch, he looked at Venir, and the summoner, and then back at the witch. Deniel let out a huge breath from his nostrils, which had actually caused a bit of smoke to come out.
One moment he was standing there in front of the witch's altar, and then the next moment, he was right in front of her! His hand was around her neck, while she was fidgeting, twitching, and flopping like a fish out of water. Deniel's claws were pushed right against the skin of her neck: if any more pressure were to be exherted, then his claws would dig into her skin, and he would most likely snap her neck. Deniel held her with his left hand, and had his right held up. His right hand was the very one that had his blood on it. As she kicked her feet around and tried to pull off Deniel's hand from her neck, Deniel had that devilish grin on his face. The same grin that seemed to appear whenever he was ready to kill someone. She was moaning, gasping, and making a bunch of obnoxious noises. Deniel slowly moved his hand over to her chest, putting one fingertip claw on it. "You know what I like to do?" He looked up at the witch, making the question directed at her. However, she was unable to respond, so he merely continued. "I like to make them bleed. Bleed like I do! I like to see what's inside of that chest of theirs, AND THEN CRUSH IT IN MY PALM!" Deniel pierced his claw through the witch's dress and made a small scratch on her chest. It wasn't deadly, pretty much like getting a small owie on her. It wouldn't hurt, but it would most likely sting.
But with Deniel's hands near her chest, he directed his attention to her breasts. Deniel stared at them, and licked his lips. He was a Devil, so it shouldn't be too surprising, but for the first time, he showed signs of being filled with lust. He moved his clawed hand over, and grabbed on to one of them through her dress. "Such a shame, too. Wasting a body like this. Oooh....how I'm going to enjoy doing this."

Before the zombies could take a step forward Venir commanded two of her marbles to change form. A few moment later, a green sword was in her hands and Venir was now ready to face the zombies. "Ahhhhhh!" It was more of a lame battle cry then anything but she slashed at the first zombie that came at her, getting it clean across the neck. Unfortunately, one slice wouldn't take the zombie down and the other two were approaching. Though two of the marbles were currently occupied, Venir did still have her six other marble in tact.Using three on each zombie, she slammed the marbles into them forcing the two back and giving her enough time to slash at the zombie in front of her once more. She was no swordsman, anyone who took the time to glance at her could see that. Though, she was proficient enough with a blade to be able to swing a sword at a such a slow moving target. Five slashes and the zombie went down. The other two were still being kept at bay by her marbles, that knocked them back every time they attempted to approach. It was one of the benefits to the tiny marbles in which she called friends; they were excellent at dealing with multiple targets. Venir charged at the next zombie, bringing the sword down on the decaying head of the zombie, one, twice, and a third time before it also collapsed. By the time Venir dealt with the remaining zombie, using both marble and sword to take it down faster, the summoner appeared to be summoning something else.
Though she should have been focusing on the opponent the Deniel had specifically told her to deal with, she couldn't help but look over and see what the raven haired man was up to. What she saw appalled her which said a lot about what Deniel was doing. The pinkette didn't even think twice about what she was doing. Instead she rushed towards Deniel ignoring the summoner. "No!" She cried out and launched herself at the man in an effort to tackle him. The tackle didn't go nearly as well as she had planned. If anything all it had done was cause Venir to cling to him like a monkey. The bikini wearing mage clung to his side, legs wrapped about his waist and her own arms grabbed at the one he was using to hold the witches neck. "Don't kill her! We shouldn't kill people!" There it was she said it, she managed to speak her mind to the terrifying man who had just struck her moments before. Truth be told she still had very mixed feeling about taking another person's life away, it was right down the middle one side of her saying no the other saying yes. The only reason she had managed to say 'no' was because she had thrown herself at him without thinking first but now that she thought about the doubt was written clearly across her face, "I've never killed anyone before let alone seen anyone die....I don't think this is where it should happen!" Her apprehensiveness was clear in her voice. Venir was shaking like a leaf as she clung to Deniel but made no move to let go just yet. Meanwhile the summoner had summoned a healing ghoul to help out the witch.

Deniel could see a red blush going across the witch's face. Obviously she had never met anyone like Deniel before. Someone so powerful, and evil at the same time. Deniel couldn't help but laugh once more. That's when he reached for his sword on his back. It had been a good, long ride, but now it was time for him to put it to an end. But before Deniel could draw his sword, he heard Venir's voice call out one moment. The next moment, she was clinging on to his black scaled body, and holding on to his arm. He really didn't know how this was supposed to stop him, seeing as how he could have very easily still drawn his sword, or increase the force of his grip around the witch's neck. Regardless, he still listened to what she had to say. And it was just like he predicted it to be. She really did have a problem with him killing people. In fact, Deniel thought there wasn't ever be a single person in the world who didn't have a problem with it. The scowl on his face loosened up a bit, but it was still there and evident. He slowly turned his head to Venir, and then looked back at the witch. She still had her eyes tightly closed, although they opened for a second to look at Venir. She was gasping for breath. The turn of events was all in Deniel's hand. So before Deniel made a move, he needed to think first. As surprising as it was, it was something he could do, even in his Black Devil Take Over. All it was, was...altered a bit. To a much more violent point of view.
Right now Venir has 2 charges of that new Bloodlust Bomb thingy...and this witch has 2, also. If I let the witch go, then I have a high chance to get her again. But there's no guarantee that I'll be able to 'beat' them without killing them. My attacks are far too powerful. Then again...maybe if I punch the witch soft enough she'll be knocked out. It needs to be perfect. If it's too hard, she'll die...if it's too soft...she'll just be hurt a lot. I need to knock her out.
After thinking for a few moments, Deniel finally managed to come out with his decision. "Alright, Venir. You win. I won't kill her." Just as he said that, Deniel raised his right hand's fist, and sent a blow down to the witch's face as he released his grip on her. His scaled fist planted itself right into her cheek, sending her straight to the ground. She mad a loud "THUD!" noice, and rolled for a few feet. The witch was concious for a few seconds, looking like she was going to get up, until suddenly she collapsed and fell down. Deniel managed to make everything work. Now that she was out of the way, there was only one more person. "Now get off of me, Venir. And beat that last guy. Without my help." Deniel couldn't get Venir off himself because if he even tried to, then he would touch her again and give her yet another Bloodlust Bomb stack. And that was the last thing he wanted. Now it was time for him to watch and her to do the fighting.

For a brief moment Venir thought that Deniel would actually kill the witch. After all it wasn't like she could really stop him if he truly wanted to kill the witch. Then finally, Deniel spoke and the relief flooded across Venir's face. "I knew you weren't a bad guy and that deep down inside-" Her expression dropped into one of pure horror as Deniel knocked the witch out. She winced remembering what the punch from earlier felt like and she sympathized with the witch. Venir was quick to let go of Deniel, completely unaware of the consequences of touching Deniel in his current dark state. Luckily for the two of them, Venir wanted no part in touching Deniel unless she absolutely had to.
Once again the pink haired mage looked to be in utter shock. "Without your help?" She gulped, it wasn't like she couldn't do it under normal circumstances. However, she was sane enough to realize that she had pushed her luck with Deniel enough for one day. "Fun and happy thoughts." She turned on her heel, turning her back on Deniel. "It's just one guy. If Katherine can take down a horde of Vulcans I can take care of this guy." Just thinking of her previous job with her fellow pink haired woman brought a smile of sorts to Venir's face. "No more jobs with Deniel." She silently promised herself, unsure if her fragile mind could take another job like this. She tightened her grip on her magic marble made sword.
The summoner was exactly where she had left him but had a ghoul of sorts next to him. The ghoul seemed to be glowing with some sort of healing magic that was directed towards the nearby unconscious witch. The summoner clearly didn't waste his time while Venir dealt with Deniel. There was five skeletons surrounding him and the heal ghoul. "Here goes nothing!" Venir muttered sending five of her marbles forward, smashing into all five of the very fragile skeletons. The skeletons were easy the summoner, and ghoul were another story. "Ahhh!" Venir repeated her lame yell from earlier and charged forward with sword raised. She completely ignored the ghoul having not the faintest idea as to how to deal with it. Instead she dashed towards the summoner, who panicked and went to summon something but it was to late as Venir was on top of the man. She slashed at him avoiding vital parts and instead struck once at each arm and the once at each leg for a total of four slices. "Not so helpful without summons around are ya?" Venir asked but frowned as the cuts knit themselves back up thank to the heal ghoul. "You've gotta be kidding me!"

Deniel could finally rest easy when Venir got off of him. The last thing he wanted to do was kill her by touching her. And in addition to that, he didn't have to fight anymore. The witch was knocked out, and hopefully stay that way. He gave a glance to Venir doing her job, and hopped off of the witch's altar. He started to whistle to himself as he walked over to the nearest tree. It wasn't hard to find one...since they were in a goddamn forest. Once he reached the tree, he spun himself around, and put his body weight on it. Deniel watched Venir, but wasn't exactly satisfied. She had no idea what she was doing from his point of view. He could find at least a dozen different ways to attack her just from her stance, and her swordsmanship was even worse. Deniel almost cringed from watching her. She seemed to know what exactly what to do when it came to her magic...but with a sword...she could really use some practice. It got even worse when he saw her going for the summoner rather than the healing ghoul. He said he wouldn't help her, but at this rate, she REALLY needed it. He grit his teeth and cringed as he watched her attakck the summoner, all while the healer just sat back and eventually healed up his wounds. Deniel thought to himself that the very least he could do was help Venir...at the slightest. He had said he wouldn't do so, but there was no way that he couldn't at this point. Besides, there was a bit of logic in it.
Deniel hadn't forgotten about the Bloodlust Bomb on Venir. Once that detonated, that would put her at a disadvantage. If Deniel was going to give out a disadvantage, why not give out an advantage at the same time? Balance it all out. Without a second thought, Deniel drew his giant sword, Armageddon, from his back. He gave his sword the signal, and in just a moment, it transformed into a scythe. The blade had moved up on the hilt, and then turned ninety degrees, all while getting much more narrow, and longer at the same time. Once its transformation was complete, Deniel closed his right eye, and focused his left one on the other ghoul. And then, he did the unthinkable: he threw his scythe. From Venir's point of view, she probably didn't hear a signle sound. And then suddenly, a giant scythe, taller than Venir was, came clashing right to the ghoul. It split the creature in half from its force, and then collided into a tree. From the amount of pressure the scythe had, though, the tree it landed on ended up collapsing as well from the impact. Aside from its shape, the scythe looked exactly like Deniel's broadsword, so it shouldn't have been a mystery to Venir who it belonged to.
Deniel did all he could for now. Because in the next few moments, Venir would feel further pain from the Bloodlust Bomb Deniel had on her. In a few moments...she would be hit with a small blast of Deniel's Unholy Energy.

Venir jumped back and away from the summoner as the sword disappeared from her hands, the spell wearing off. Instead all she had were two soft green marbles sitting in her palms. "I still have all eight of these marbles." The thought was a rather comforting one as her and the summoner locked eyes, "There's nothing he can do as long as I keep hitting him." The summoner couldn't summon anything if she continued to interrupt him. "Expand!" She called out and the two marbles in her hands expanded once more to their full size. "Go!" She yelled and the two marbles, each four meters in diameter and fifty pounds each, went flying towards the summoner whom was frantically trying to summon something.
As the marbles hit the summoner, Venir dropped to her knee's the marbles simultaneously dropping. A sudden wave of pain hit her and she hadn't the faintest idea as to where it came from. The energy from it felt familiar and for a brief moment she thought Deniel had attacked her but he wouldn't hurt a guild-mate right? "Gah!" She gasped out clutching her arms, everywhere hurt at this point. The pain was unbearable simply because she had not idea where it came from and worst of all it didn't hurt in just one spot, it was everywhere. Green eyes looked up to see that ghoul had been taken care of, a scythe through its body. For a moment Venir had half a brain to try and pick the scythe up with her magic. Then her green gaze flickered over to the summoner who was currently underneath one of her large marbles. With tremendous effort, the pink haired mage managed to get back onto her feet. The pain was residing into an ache but it was still unpleasant. "Just a bit more!" The marbles rose off of the summoner only to slam back down onto him. "This isn't enough. They move to slow." The two large marbles pulled back from the summoner floating their way back to in front of Venir acting a shield. Just as the summoner had stumbled back to his feet, once preparing to summon something to defend himself he got hit. Not just once, twice, or even three times, it was rapid fire shots of six high speed marbles. Each of the soft green objects hit him on the head once, and bounced off.

"Yeesh. Do they hurt that much?" Deniel cringed a little bit more when he saw Venir get his with his Bloodlust Bomb. It sure as Hell did seem to hurt a lot, even though she only received only two stacks of it. Deniel closed on eyes and grit his teeth, but was glad that she eventually got up. It showed that she was still in this fight. If Venir's Bloodlust Bomb went off now, then that meant it was only a matter of time until the witch's one went off. Deniel was kind of hoping that would kill the witch, since he could still kill her, but not be blamed by Venir since he couldn't really control it. Bloodlust Bombs were out of his control. They were deadly, which he loved, but couldn't be stopped...which he still loved about it. Before Venir got any funny ideas that she could use his scythe, he decided to retrieve it. he first did it by holding out his hand, and trying to use some kidn of...Force to pull it back to him. He concentrated really hard, but he still couldn't do it. Realizing he would have to go and retrieve it, Deniel sighed and started to step away from the comforting position of leaning against a tree. "Damn it..." Deniel walked right past Venir and the summoner, almost completely ignoring the fight between the two. Even his wings were ignoring them. They usually rattled whenever he was in danger or combat, but they stood completely still as he passed them. Deniel walked over to the tree where his scythe was impaled in.
Deniel approached the tree, and grabbed on to the hilt of his scythe. He put his boot right on the tree's cut down log, and pushed and pulled at the same time. His scythe came right out of the log, and it immediately turned itself back into its original sword form. The blade thickened, shortened a bit, turned ninety degrees, and went back to its first position on the entire shape. Deniel sheathed his sword on his back and started to walk back to the tree he was leaning against. Then that's when Deniel got an idea. Venir seemed to be really focused on her fight...she wouldn't notice him. With a smirk on his face, Deniel snuck around her and the summoner. He went behind the cauldron, and went over to the unconscious body of the witch. All he did was touch her two times, and then he got up and went back to his tree. Two touches seemed harmless, but they weren't. All they did was seal the fate of that witch. And there was no way Venir could accuse Deniel for doing it on purpose. It was too perfect for him, he almost laughed about it.

Just as Venir was about to bring the six marbles back in for a second barrage, she peaked around the two large marbles in front of her acting an impromptu shield. "Hm?" The summoner lay on the ground completely motionless. "Ooops I hit a little harder than I thought." She muttered but went over to motionless body just to make sure he was actually alive. "Still breathing." She sighed in relief and gave the guy a good kick in the side to make sure he wasn't faking it or anything. When the summoner made no move to get up or anything of that nature, Venir let out a breath of air that she didn't realize she had been holding. "Now that is over and done with." She turned on her heel to face Deniel. Something seemed off about him. It was as if he was almost happy which in her short time spent with him, was not something she thought him capable of. Pushing suspicions aside, she pranced over to the man attempting to smile but only grimacing. Her cheek where she was previously struck was getting red and beginning to swell. Not to mention she still felt rather sore from whatever had hit her. She almost wanted to ask Deniel about it but thought better of it, it's not like her guild mate would ever hurt her or anything.
"So I guess we just have to tie up the summoner and witch or something. Send them to the Rune Knights and this job is as good as done!" She nodded more to herself than to Deniel. "Although I'm not really sure what we'll tie them up with." She thought for a moment. Then like that she froze in her spot a thought from earlier suddenly resurfacing in her rather insane head and jumbled up head. "Wait a minute. You would never hurt me but you did! You hit me!" She declared before continuing her cheek throbbing, "Then earlier that pain from earlier! It was you wasn't it?" She seemed more hurt than anything. "What was that? Why would you do that?" She seemed incredibly threatened, she thought being in a guild would mean she would be safe from betrayal and others hurting her. However, right now her trust in guilds and friends was in a rather shaky position.

Deniel cursed to himself in his head. There was a way for him to kill the witch without Venir knowing it, but there wasn't a way for him to kill the summoner. And he wasn't too thrilled about the idea of handing either of them over to the Rune Knights. He didn't really think prison was good enough for them. He thought they all deserved a quick and painless death, just like their partner. Deniel thought that he might as well just get it over with...there was no reasoning with Venir, and that meant he needed to show her just how stubborn he was willing to be. Before he answered her, he walked straight past her, and drew his sword from his back. He walked over to the summoner's body, and without hesitating for a moment...stabbed him in the chest. It looked like a painful thing, getting their chest and heart almost split in half from a giant sword, but in reality, it was painless. They didn't feel a thing. They were just cut from the strings of life in one good stab. After killing the summoner, Deniel sheathed his blade, and turned to Venir. There was that look in his eyes, a scowl. And a harsh one, too. Before Deniel spoke, though, he closed both of his eyes. He took in a deep breath, and after he did, a small gust of wind picked up. Deniel's Magical Energy started to build up and let itself loose a bit. His body was unable to be seen, and after a few moments, all of the magic faded, and he was standing there. Not as The Black Devil, but as himself. Two inches shorter, clothing, skin, black hair, normal red eyes....and a scrawny figure.
In addition, Deniel's sword was no back to a regular black katana, sheathed in a black scabbard, which he held in his hand. "Alright, Venir...here's a bit of an explanation..." His voice was no longer harsh and ferocious. However, it still did sound quite cold, "If it's prison or death, I'm giving them all death. Second: yes, it was me, but not intentionally. You got a little thing called a Bloodlust Bomb. Basically, when you touched me, you got something that was out of my control. In a short time, you would have been hurt no matter what. It's not entirely my fault, darlin'. But don't worry, it doesn't work when I'm not in a Take Over." Deniel gave a glance over to the witch's cauldron, which had disappeared. Her body was laying on the ground, still knocked out, but that would all change soon. He looked back at Venir, and had a very smuggish look on his face. "And she's got that same Bomb, too. So in just a few minutes...she'll die!"

Venir turned as Deniel walked past, simply thinking that he was just leaving. She would have preferred if he left instead of what he had chosen to do. By the time she realized what her black haired companion was up to, it was too late. "No!" She breathed out and shook her head, getting teary eyed without realizing it. "No! Why would you do that!?" She took a step back and away from her guild mate wanting to put as much distance between them as possible. Even when he returned to his regular form Venir stayed a healthy distance away from the man. She almost felt as if she was betrayed, especially since she told him she didn't feel particularly comfortable with killing. At least not in that particular manner.
"You have no right to choose for them! You have no right to choose death for them. You're not a God, Deniel you don't get to choose who lives and who dies!" She didn't raise her voice, if anything it was soft and shaky. It was complete chaos in her head, one side warring with the other as to whether or not killing was okay, but both sides managed to agree on the fact that it was not up for humans to decide as to who could live and who could die. She gave no response to him about the bloodlust bomb that hit her. "I don't care if he can control it or not, I've been hit twice today by someone who is supposed to be a comrade." The thought quickly passed by as another one took hold of her chaotic head. "The witch....?" The pink haired woman grimaced, soft green eyes narrowing into a glare at Deniel's more than smug face. "You lied to me! You said you wouldn't kill her!" For a moment it seemed as if she was going to yell at him some more but she turned on her heel heading towards the witch.
"There's gotta be something I can do." She muttered falling to her knee's beside the woman who was supposed to be her enemy. "There's some way to stop it." She simply sat there trying to figure out what to do, but she made no move to touch the witch. Venir's hands and entire body was shaking at this point, "There's gotta be something."If she repeated it enough then something would come to her. She paid no mind to Deniel and instead shook the seemingly unconscious woman.

Deniel raised his eyebrow at Venir, but then quickly lowered both of them. His harsh scowl was back, which meant that she was getting on his nerves and ticking him off. She didn't really seem to care though. Her accussations entered Deniel's ears one after another, and he was getting further annoyed. However, he had to admit, she did have one very good point. Deniel wasn't a God, so what right did he have to choice their fate? Deniel didn't know how many times he did this before, but he started to regret a little bit about what he did, and he started to think about whether or not she was right. Did he have the right? They were evil people to him. They took away lives. And killing them is much more quick and painless than prison. Deniel shuddered at the thought of prison...seeing how that's where he spent most of his life. He took another glance at Venir, who seemed to be shaking the witch up. He couldn't believe it: she was practically helping and working for the enemy. He began to question whether or not she was right once more. She did have a single good point, but should he really take it seriously? Venir seemed to have a very weak willpower in his opinion. Hmmmm...she definitely needs help with that. And maybe I can. It won't be easy, though. Deniel gave out a sigh and decided that he should listen to Venir just this once. He knew all he could do was hope that the witch survived. He walked over where Venir was shaking the witch, although she probably wouldn't trust him.
He held on to one of the witch's arms, and put two fingers right at her wrist. Her pulse was still going, and the Bloodlust Bomb hadn't detonated yet. But that could all change any moment. Moments passed, until finally the witch's eyes opened wide, and he coudl feel her pulse race. The bomb must have detonated inside of her. A couple of drops of blood came out of her mouth, and she was shaking and breathing heavily at the same time. "It hurts...it hurts!" It may have hurt, but it was still alive. The witch gazed back and fourth between Deniel and Venir with her purple eyes. She was still breathing with heavy breaths, but eventually the pain started to subdue. Deniel let go of her arm and stood up. "She's alive," he said and stared at Venir with his scowl still very much on his face. "Are you happy?" After saying that, Deniel suddenly picked the witch up from the ground, carrying her in his arms. Then he beckoned Venir to follow him. "We'll turn her into the Rune Knights. The rest of them can say dead. Fair enough for you...?!" That last part sounded a bit harsh, mainly because Deniel was still a little bit angry from the thrill of battle, and what Venir had said.

Venir was a bit taken back as the witch sprang to life her body shaking and shuddering. The pink haired mage jumped slightly as it had startled her. As the woman cried out about the pain Venir could only feel pity for her seeing as she had felt that same pain only minutes ago. Finally, the spasms of the witches body stopped and it seemed as if she had passed out again. It was a disturbing sight to see but at least the witch didn't die. Green eyes flickered up to Deniel who had picked the purple eyed witch up in his arms. For a brief moment Venir thought the man was going to kill her simply because Venir had told him off earlier. He certainly didn't seem to happy after her outburst. Venirs suspicions were put to rest when he began to walk away the witch still in his arms."At least he's carrying her." The thought was a mildly comforting one. Venir thought the man would try and make her carry the witch out of spite. "He's not a complete bad guy... Probably..." Venir visibly winced and shrunk back at the dark haired man's words. She knew hr was more than a little upset with her but that didn't mean he had to be so harsh .
While the outcome wasn't exactly what Venir had wanted she was relieved enough to say that there was no blood on her hands. "I'm as happy as I can get." The woman replied though the unnecessary deaths of the summoner and necromancer were still heavy in her mind. It was odd that death affected the half-insane mage so much but it wasn't something that she had encountered often if at all in her travels. As the two walked, Venir kept a large distance between them. Her irrational but rational to her fear of her guildmate was still heavy in her mind. Venir kept the distance as far as possible without losing sight of the dark haired man. While she was afraid of him, she did not want to risk getting lost on the way back, especially not in her rather beaten up state.

Deniel hadn't believed Venir one bit. He looked at her over his shoulder, seeing her so far back, and gave a grunt. The way he was walking was towards the Haunted Village, so that way they could turn the witch in and collect their rewards. Deniel was looking forward to seeing Venir's reaction to when they finally reached the village. The reason for that is because of something Deniel did not too long ago. His reputation throughout the entire village was quite...famous. Not only from himself, but from the actions of his mentor, Vergil. It was because of this that Deniel's mood had actually started to brighten up a bit. He looked down in his arms to see that the witch had fallen asleep, perhaps from too much exhaustion and stress. With his mood getting a bit better, Deniel's smirk started to appear on his face once more. This smirk wasn't evil one bit, though. He almost looked happy. He just had a very weird way of expressing it. Upon reaching the outskirts of the village, Deniel saw that it was broad daylight, and people were all around the place. He and Venir showed up at the perfect time. Not to mention they were near the Town Hall, which could provide for an easy way of simply dropping her off, collecting the reward, and being on their merry way. When Deniel finally reached the place, people immediately turned to him and took notice of him. Some whispered to each other and pointed at him, until openly one of them said, "It's Deniel! Our savior! And look, he has the witch!"
Immediately people started to follow Deniel into the town hall. They all sounded happy and excited about the fact that he was there. Two of them even opened the doors for Deniel so he wouldn't have to do it himself. Upon walking inside, Deniel was met with the village's elder, and pretty much their leader. He seemed genuinley surprised, but excited to see Deniel. "Ahhh, Deniel. It's good to see you agian. What do you have there?" Deniel didn't know if Venir was around him at this time, but he didn't care all too much. If she wanted to miss this, then she could. He plerched himself down on one knee, and placed the witch down on the ground. The village elder looked down at her, inspecting her for several moments, and then back up at Deniel. "You must have seen the request that we put out. And once again you have come to our aid. Thank you, Deniel. We shall get the Rune Knights to take her in immediately." Deniel got up from his knee, and immeidately the crowd around him started to cheer. In response, Deniel help up his fist in a triumphant gesture...and smiled. "I'm happy to help you folks!"
Unaware of Deniel's change in mood, Venir still hung far behind him, head hung low. The female mage only glanced up when they had emerged from the tree line. She had never been to Haunted Village before and it wasn't nearly as scary as the forest the surrounded it. What surprised her was the fact that actual people lived in the village and not a bunch of ghosts, to be fair she wasn't exactly the most sane person. If the amount of actual living people was a surprise to her than what they did was even more so. "They're actually flocking to him. They're treating him like a hero." Shock was written across her face. Venir had hung far enough back so that the people didn't seem to notice her as they had noticed Deniel. While Venir had gotten her fair share of attention before she had never expected Deniel to have gotten the same. "This is like the one time that Katherine had me take credit for defeating those vulcans. Only there's more people here." The girl wasn't jealous or anything of that nature, she was simply noting things.
The pinkette had to try and push through the crowd of people to get to the town hall, Deniel having already disappeared inside. The bikini clad mage was hardly noticed as she slipped inbetween people, occasionally pushing when she had to. Finally, she had managed to burst out to the front of the crowd just in time to see Deniel raise his fist in what could only be described as....triumph? Worst of all he was actually smiling, an odd sight to the pinkette. The female mage stood there visibly stunned. "What?" She managed to get out in her confusion. Her day had been confusing enough with all of the fighting, pain, and death, all of this only added on to the confusion. "I...You...The..."Venir stammered trying to find something to say as she approached her dark haired guild mate. The fear was still evident in her features as well as the complete and utter confusion. After much effort and a sudden look of determination Venir held out her hand, "First the reward." She was a money driven individual, "Second of all, the witch is still alive right?" By the time Venir had arrived the witch had already been carried off elsewhere. Having little trust in Deniel, the pink haired woman wouldn't put it past him to kill the witch when she wasn't looking.

The crowd was still cheering a bit, even after Venir held up her hand. Deniel managed to calm all of them down and get their voices to vanish by holding up both of his hands, and motioning them down over and over again. Soon the roars of cheers were now completely gone, and only Venir's voice could be heard. Before the elder even thought about giving her the reward, he was curious to see who exactly this person was. "Hm. Who might this be, Deniel?" Deniel gave a glance over to Venir, and then shrugged. "She's a guildmate. She helped me take down this witch. Just give her the reward, and check the pulse for me since she doesn't trust me." The elder nodded and beckoned two people standing behind them to get the reward ready for Venir and Deniel. Then he got down on one knee, and put two fingers right at the neck of the witch. Several moments passed, and then he stood back up. She was evidently breathing by her stomach and shoulder movement, but if that wasn't enough for Venir, the elder confirmed it. "She's alive, all right. But tell me, why does this guildmate not trust you?" Deniel could have lied. He could have very easily lied in that situation. These people saw him as a hero, and they would have listened to anything he had to say. But instead of lying, he was straight-forward and honest about it. "Because I killed the witch's two followers."
Upon saying that, there were a few whispers among the crowd, but no one really spoke above another, so it was hard to tell what they were saying. "I see. I see. However, does she realized who exactly you killed, and why?" Before Deniel could give him an answer, the elder turned to Venir, "When Deniel came here several months ago, we were all under the curse of werewolves. He could have easily slaughtered every last one of us. But he didn't. He spared our lives, and saved us all. We were wounded, but it was necessary. From that, I can tell you that Deniel means no evil, it his own sense of justice. He spares the good, and punishes the evil. It may seem arrogant or god-like, but in reality, everyone has that own sense of justice. He just has his own approach to it." Deniel couldn't believe it. The elder was standing up to him. Someone was standing up to the fact that he killed someone. Deniel didn't really know if the elder agreed with him, but that didn't matter. He turned to Venir, with a smile on his face. Shortly afterwards, the two that the elder had ordered earlier came back with the reward. Deniel then turned to the crowd, and clasped his hand around Venir's wrist. Then, he forcefully held her hand up to the air like he did his, so she can have her own triumph.
"Give it up for Venir, the one who helped me in this task!" The crowd let out a roar of cheers to Venir and Deniel, just like they had done earlier. Then he looked at Venir straight in the eyes. No longer a smile on his face, but a smirk...and quite a goofy one. "I'm not so bad afterall, aren't I?
Mission complete!"
