Magic
Primary Magic: Bibliotheca Arcana (Library of the Arcane)
Secondary Magic: (Must be filled in later. Magic you bought at the store goes here)
Caster or Holder: Holder
Description: Many, many, many, many years ago, the magicians of the day could only cast magic by chanting spells aloud. These magicians, now called the Ancients by those who study magical history, wrote great tomes that contained pages and pages of written spells. These tomes made magic far more convenient, as the magicians would only have to read from the book, rather than memorize dozens upon dozens of incantations. Before their generation ended, the Ancients stored the most powerful, most beautiful tomes in a library, hoping their descendants would find them and use them. Hundreds of years passed, but no one found the library, which was hidden deep within the woods. The earth slowly grew up around the library, burying it as the woods also rew, becoming what is now known as the Spooky Forest. The storehouse of ancient magic lay forgotten, buried.
Until one day, Kodai Venator was hunting in the Spooky Forest. He had just felled a magnificent buck and was walking over to collect it when he heard a thunk below his feet. He stamped hard a few times, attempting to ascertain what he had trodden on, when the roof of the library caved in, rotten through by years and years of dampness. He tumbled through layers and layers of the library, shelves upon shelves of books flashing past him. He landed heavily on the ground, staring upwards at centuries of knowledge.
It took him months to look through everything, but he eventually decided to use these ancient tomes.
This magic obviously revolves around the use of tomes. Each tome is bound with leather, and the cover is embossed with arcane symbols and glyphs with gold leaf. The color of the leather binding corresponds somewhat to the branch of magic they contain.

Lineage: Calorie Shave
Unique Abilities: Description: You had a fat ancestor. We all have in some point of our lineage, but yours was a particularly determined one. Maybe it was for the bullying or for the discomfort, but he strove to lose his excess weight. His journey in search for this 'cure' was a true epic, marking him as a legend of the heavyweights. In the end, however, he failed to find one and in his sorrow he planned to drown himself, only to see on his reflection in the pool that his efforts themselves were the cure. He died on the spot from exhaustion, though. Pitying him for his labours, an obesity god decided to do the man a favour and decreed that the strength of his soul will help his descendents in their future endeavours. As a result, his descendants have gained the strength of his spirit and can sacrifice body mass for a temporary boost. However, go too far, and they risk facing the same fate as their ancestor. Alas, had he heard of Gravity Magic, maybe he would not need to work so hard after all.
Ability: The user of this lineage can choose to call upon the spirit to take away some of their body mass and in exchange gain huge amounts of energy. However, once it runs out, they will fall to the ground, exhausted from the effort for one post and only able to carefully walk and fire spells below their rank (D-ranks will still have access to their spells) for the next post.
Usage: A dangerous technique, the user will only have enough body mass to fuel one usage of the lineage per thread. But in return, expect yourself to gain enough energy to fuel five of your spells of your rank for free and you gain enough strength to make your durability extreme, meaning that spells one rank above you and below are rendered with half-damage and no push-back. The effect will last for two posts, so you will have to make it count.

Abilities:
- Speed Reader: Ability to read, and subsequently speak faster than humanly possible. This allows incantations longer than 50 words to be read and cast in half the time. Cannot be used at the same time as Two For One Discount or Silence, Please.
- Two For One Discount: Allows the user to cast two spells at once. The downfall is both spell pages must be open. Cannot be used at the same time as Speed Reader or Silence, Please. It also consumes two spells' worth of MP.
- Express Checkout: Allows the user to summon the desired tome directly from the ancient library into their hands by uttering or thinking the name of the tome and focusing their magic power.
Strengths:
- Wide variety of spells
- The arcane, ancient language can frighten or confuse enemies, especially if they attempt to read the tomes.
- Can counter a variety of other magics
Weaknesses:
- The tomes are susceptible to damage, fire and water posing the largest risk. A single hit of fire or water magic equal to the tome's rank will break it
- Reading the spell out loud can tip off the enemy, making them aware that a spell will soon be cast
- When reading the spell, the wielder is vulnerable to attack, as most of their focus is on reading
- Wind magic can flip the pages of the tome, messing up the spell being cast

If the caster so wishes, the lion can remain in it's runic form, thus rendering it near invincible, though this shortens the lifespan of the summoned creature by two posts. The runic lion is also incapable of attacking people, due to being made of pure energy. Otherwise, the runes form flesh, and transform into an actual lion. The lion deals C-rank damage with it's claws and fangs, acting according to the caster's shouted commands.
