Entertain the Patients (Orean)

BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. The Magic Alarm rings in the time "It is 7:30, I believe you have an appointment!"

Bekett reaches a hand out from under the cover, waving his hand around. After a couple seconds of trying, he finds the off button on the side of the alarm. "What are you on about?!" says the boy, trying to find out what his appointment was about. What happened yesterday.... lets see, he woke up, fed Mr. Puffin, and then he walked quite a ways to... SABERTOOTH! OF COURSE! "Gah! I'll be late for my first job!" He scrambles up and out of the bed, stumbling to his dresser, putting on his clothes, and finally looking in the mirror to adjust his Bow. "I can't even remember what the job is about." with perfect timing, Mr. Puffin flies in with a piece of paper saying "Entertain the Patients" in bright bold on the front. "Ah, right! The perfect job for me!" he remarks after reading the description down at the bottom of the paper.

The young wizard packs up all sorts of items in his mother's old magic bag and heads out the door "Thanks again Mr. Puffin, and don't worry, I should be back home this afternoon!"

The young wizard walks all the way from his house at the base of Mt. Hakobe to Magnolia hospital, the trip takes about an hour, hoping he won't be late, he runs quite fast through the streets of Magnolia, straight to the hospital. He bumps in to a young lady right outside of the hospital, "Oh my gosh I am so very sorry!" he says with a small blush. "No no, don't worry about it, you must be in a rush to see a family member!" "No, I..." He says a little too late as she walks walks off. "Man, these last couple of days have been weird."

He walks up the flights of stairs to see a 'Nurse Gladys,' the older lady that requested the job... "Oh yes! I am Gladys, are you the kind young soul who accepted the job to help the poor sick children?" she says as she pinches his cheeks. "Oh, yes ma'am, I am." he says while trying to pull away from her hands. "Well, they should be right through here,"

She points to a doorway...

Little heads all turn to Orean as soon as he walks through the doors. "Who are you supposed to be?" one kid says. "Well I am Bekett Orean, and I am a wizard from Sabertooth, here to entertain you guys!" A small hand tugs on the pant leg of the young wizard "You're a wizard? What magic do you use?" He looks down at the young girls face, she has a wrap around what once was her left arm, he knew he was going to a hospital, but to see this sight was jerking at his emotions. Nonetheless he put on a big smile and said, "Why, I use sound magic!" The faces in the room all seemed to brighten up. "Aw sweet so are you gonna put on a rock concert for us?!" says a young boy on a bunk in the corner. "Well, not exactly what I was thinking.." "Will you sing us a pretty song?" says the young girl from before. "I guess I could" The boy keeps having to answer questions left and right, left and right. "Hey, how about an idea, I will go up to the front of the room, and demonstrate my magic, maybe then I will take some requests okay?" He says, trying to quell the constant expectations of the small children.

Everyone starts to quiet down as he makes his way to the front of the room. Once he is up with his back against the wall, he surveys the children sitting in their bunks, and on the floor. Little eyes are still all focused on him. He sets his bag on the ground, and pulls out a small ukulele and strums it once. "Who wants this one?" he says with a smile looking at the young children. Several Children raise their hand. "Well, I wasn't expecting this, luckily, I brought more instruments!" He pulls out a large variety, Flutes, Violins, Trumpets, and Guitars. The total number of extra instruments pulled out of the bag comes out to be about 12, so a total of 13. Bekett scans the room, counting the heads of children... 15. "It seems we are a bit short on instruments. What should we do?"
The small girl from before suggests "Easy! Just pull more out of your magic bag!" The boy wonders... well, he did have 2 extra flutes in his jacket, the ones he always kept as backup, but then what would he have to play? Well, he could sing, and he did still have his Magic to use. What should he do?

"I have 2 flutes left, but that's all, so, should I sing?" He inquires the children. "Yeah! Sing us a song! Sing us a song!!" they all start to get excited. To start, he passes out the 2 flutes to the remaining children. And then thinks back. What is a song his mother used to sing to him? AH! That's it..
"Alright, I'll start to sing, and you guys feel free to play along..."
