Personality:
Beyond the thick dreads that scatter across him like thousands of beautiful black vines, lies the eyes of a shattered soul still picking up the pieces. Mathurin grew up in an incredibly difficult and trying situation. However he remained strong and determined the entire time. He is very protective, dedicating his life to his younger cousin Aeris. Although he is incredibly clever and intelligent, that is mostly due to his intuitive nature. Always trusting his gut feelings, which has grown even more so acute over time. Due to the strong level of dishonesty from every single person he met outside of his close family, he values truth over nearly everything. Incredibly hard working, and persistent, two of the main reasons he won the title "King of the West". Mathurin's past would have caused any man in his right mind to snap. He on the other hand, endured, more and more, and did so willingly. While still with his family as a small child, strong values were instilled into Mathurin. The biggest of all being to protect and guard his loved ones with his life. His family values were the only thing he had when he was enslaved into the "Tower of Grisham", with his young cousin. Upon turning 13, a powerful shift in his fate transpired. The young child was visited by 2 demons claiming to be servants of his from below. They gave quite a discussion before performing a demonic incantation onto Mathurin, awakening his DNA. After a long and grueling night, the demonic ceremony was complete, and the seal on his soul removed. Mathurin's soul was now completely bonded with Diablo's, as well as the two great demons. This introduced 3 different personalities into his core, filled with emotions and feelings he never had, nor could he ever perceive him having such malicious thoughts. Diablo's soul had the strongest pull, and is constantly causing a flip on Mathurin's moral compass. Constantly he deals with his daily strife of balancing the emotions of the two. Mathurin is compassionate and hardworking, however he is also very flexible. Which turns out to be a bad combination when the emotions of Diablo come pouring out. Diablo is a blood thirsty, battle hungry, aggressive, and uncaring demon. Diablo is only worried about himself, his goals, and how to accomplish them. Unlike Mathurin who remains clear-headed during a battle, Diablo is impulsive which would be deadly without his incomparable intuition.
However dealing with Diablo's tendencies isn't all of it, as the other two demons have their own strong pull as well inside of Mathurin. Diablo, had a unquenchable love for battle, Mephisto on the other hand has a lust for total annihilation. He bathes in destruction and will only devour human flesh. He is evil, chaotic and destructive. Out of the three, he is the most one-dimensional, focusing only one one thing. Although Diablo's emotions has the strongest pull that he is constantly fighting against, Mephisto's nature is the most truly evil, and he makes all attempts to keep at bay. Finally Baal entered into his soul, and actually provided some benefits with his evil nature. Baal highly valued knowledge, and wit. He was known as the most clever demon in hell, capable of manipulating kings to do his bidding. Baal is truly dangerous, and enjoys lying and deception. However, The love for truth is so strong inside Mathurin, that even when Baal manages to slip out a lie from Mathurin's lips it still true in some form or fashion. Baal is the king of deception, capable of taking truth, utter lies and combining them into what he needs the person to see. Very selfish and constantly scheming Baal is one to be watched with careful eyes. Mathurin doesn't have 3 different beings talking inside of his head, no they are permanently branded onto his soul, and their emotions are his emotions. Their wants and needs are his wants and needs. Truly if Mathurin had not been the epitome of love and compassion, then their evil souls would have been too much, and corrupted him into complete darkness. Now a days Mathurin spends all of his time, physically training as was habitual to him now. Training everyday as a gladiator for the last 7 years can do that to a child. Now he was constantly progressing physically and magically. Having discovered a way to gain access to the abilities of these demons, Mathurin spends all of his time increasing the potency. Mathurin always lived in the slums, regardless if it was before "Tower of Grisham" or after it and living in a spooky forest. Because of this, he built an incredibly love for jewels, gem stones, and incredibly rare and powerful magical items and trinkets. Ironic, coming from a man who despised the wealthy more than anything. No, his love for the precious artifacts had nothing to do with monetary gain. He is a collector, and lovers of these items. Although living alone for 4 solid years after leaving "Tower of Grisham", Mathurin discovered a home in Savage Skull. Although he bump heads often with majority of its members, it still provided that missing family tie he had been longing for since the loss of Aeris. His family ties were far stronger than before, and he dedicated his life to the progression of Savage Skull.
When the Dread locked made is Deadlocked in combat with a foe, he is usually in either two states of mind. Either he is utilizing more of Mathurin and Baal's personalities to become a potent tactician in battle. Developing powerful and intelligent ploys in battle to foil his enemies plans. Or he gains lust for this battle before him, and that lust builds and builds. This is when Mephisto and Diablo's emotions start to arise tot he surface, in which case Mathurin simply lets all hell break loose.

Herbal Cigarettes:
Mathurin is an avid fan of a particular herbal blend of cigarettes, and seems to nearly always have some. They are packed with the finest local organic herbs from clover town.
Food Ninja:
Loving to indulge into really delicious food, his love grows even more for food he is able to take when others are not looking.
Treasure Hunter:
Mathurin is an intense fan of treasure hunting. Everything about it drives him crazy. From finding a uninhabited island, to slaying a monstrous diabolical creature, and then of course showering in the riches one finds afterwards.

Ancient Script Love:
Some of Mathurin's favorite finds from treasure hunting, are finding ancient manuscripts filled with wondrous lore, or magical knowledge to behold. Anyone found purposely destroying a book, will be dealt with.
Mine, Not Yours!:
Mathurin works very hard for what he has, and values his treasure collection more than anything. Not so much because of their value, but simply because its what he finds beautiful. It would be no different that a basic rock collection. however it is all he has and values, and anyone caught stealing.....may their soul Rest In Pieces.
Rich and Wealthy:
Mathurin abhors those who are rich,wealthy and powerful. Especially if it was some one born into their wealth. He has never had a positive experience with anyone who had money of their own, even his father whom tried to have him killed before he was born.

Destruction:
Fueled by his hate for the magic coucil as well as all the people who caused him such great tragedy in his childhood. He wishes to destroy the magic coucil, and his father's company and allies.
Power Driven:
Mathurin craves power, as he realizes his goals in life are very high, and only with unquestionable strength will he prevail.
Aeris
The loss of his little cousin was a big shock unto his core, for she was the one person he ever vowed to protect from harm. Promising to place his life before hers. When she was killed, he felt lost and distraut. His entire being dedicated itself unto her memory, and every action to her revenge.

His greatest fear, is his unguarded treasures being tampered with, while he is away from the guild on a job.
Dummy Fire:
That he will not have enough time to acquire all the wonderful manuscripts out there, before the foolish burn away their knowledge.
Ladies Man:
Mathurin seems to gather attention no matter where he goes, specifically from women. However the most problemeatic aspect are certain women who are too forward. Mathurin has a strong fear of overly large aggresive women.

Hair: Hair is a dark jet black, and is finely twisted in very neat, long, and beautiful locks.
Eyes: Eyes change randomly from Ruby Red, to a Bright brilliant Gold.
Skin Tone: Mathurin has a natural tanned light brown complexion.
Appearance:
Mathurin usually keeps his hair loose and scattered randomly. Although sometimes he ties it up in a ponytail, specially on fancy occasions. A fan of luxorious clothing, he wears beautifully adorned materials and jewels from time to time. On average, he is wearing a simple white baggy uniform, that covers his top and bottom. He keeps a leather bound satchel carried with him everywhere in his inner chest pocket, that contains his herbal smokes.
