The dragon saw Kaido and almost laughed. The sword was impressive for a human, but a dragons hide was tougher than any sort of steel, and the dragon intended to prove that. In a moment of absolute ego, the dragon lowered its head, meeting the sword midswing with a head butt. The dragon came to an absolute stop, and the streets were filled with the sound of a gong, as the massive sword smashed into the beasts head. The dragon took a few steps back, blood leaking from a bloody welt on the top of its head, as it reared back to look at Kaido with absolute shock. That sword had to be incredibly heavy, and the weilder stronger than any man the beast had faced before to penetrate his skin like that. The dragon had felt no magic, at least not active, about the sword. And it had broken skin, bit in, and the dragon was fairly certain, by the amount of pain it was feeling, cracked bone. What a sword!

Kaido for his part was also stunned. Instinct had swung that sword like he had, in a wide, side ways arc, putting all of its weight into a single swing, letting it build its own momentum. And to his complete surprise, it had worked. Red stained the swords pristine edge, the dragon had been forced to a total stop, and the sound of a rung bell still echoed. The two combatants stared at each other, one with new found respect and caution, and the other with building confidence, as they squared up, the dragon starting to slowly circle Kaido. His weakness was his speed, or lack there of. The dragon had to finish this one fast, before he could bring that heavy sword, and ungodly strength to bare again......

Xierak had been flying through the skies, and had been coming straight from Karakuki City, he was going to be late, but he had heard that Clover had been attacked. He was dispatched alongside a few more Eclipse Soul members to go to the town and help with the threat. He then arrived over the town and saw multiple points of conflict, that’s when a giant flash erupted from the eastern side of the town. He shielded his eyes from the brilliant blue light, It seems that there are a number of mages fighting against the threat… so why am I here…? Xierak then managed to see again and looked down he saw there a lone man facing off against one of the creatures by himself… I guess I can drop in… Xierak then angled himself downward and flew straight down aiming for the Dragons head.

He watched as it opened its mouth in preparation for something when Xierak crashed down right on the lump on its head smashing its head inward and into the ground. When the smoke cleared he stood there and looked at the man who had been fighting the dragon before he interrupted, however that’s when he saw another Dragon coming from behind, he then yelled, “You there Look out!”

As Kaido spun around to face the newest threat, his eyes would widen as the creatures mouth would open wide, a mixture of four elements, lightning, wind, water, and ice forming in its wide open jaws. Kaido would be wide open to the blast, unable to dodge it in time, not without dropping his sword at least, and he would never do that. Nor would he have to.

Just as the dragon was about to blast Kaido, a small, black blur, with a white cap of hair descended rapidly from the sky in a spin, flashes of silver wrapping around the blur as it slammed down on the top of the beasts head, side ways. Sparks flew as razors slid along the dragons scales, enough to sting and stun the dragon enough to cancel his blast and take a few steps back. Akryn landed on the ground in front of the dragon, between it and kaido, his Black Star Cutter in one hand, one of his seven cuts in his mouth, one in his hand, one pinched between his left elbow, and anothercaught between his right thigh and shin, in the crook of his knee. "Sorry I'm late. Xier, ya shouldn't go rushin off like that. We were sent here to help save lives together. By the way. That red aint dead." he said through gritted teeth over the knife handle, as the red dragon Xierak had landed on raised back up, looking absolutely livid, smoke rising from its jaws as it stared at Xierak. "I got stormy here, you two take red."

Kaido spun about, bringing his massive sword to bare. He stared as the dragon opened its maw and let loose with a massive burst of flames at Kaido, aiming to scorch him to death. The flames engulfed Kaido, surrounding him and lighting the houses on fire. Anyone else would likely have been roasted from such a head on blast, but Kaido was different. As the flames ceased, the dragon would stare in absolute, unknowing shock at Kaido before him. Kaido was unharmed by the fire, and an aura of white, momentum magic surrounded him and his sword. It had forced the flames away from his body, though not the street and buildings around him. Akryn stared at the dragon, his massive sword held at the ready. "Come ye great scaly beast. Come and die." he snarled as he charged in at the dragon, who roared in defiance and charged back in.

The dragon lowered its mouth, aiming to snap Kaido in half, before the massive sword collided with the side of its face, turning aside the bite. The dragons weight would continue on though, slamming into Kaido and driving him back. It would have flattened most men, but Kaido was not most men, and he let go of his sword with one hand to grab the dragons horns and hang on tightly, pressing back with his mighty legs. The dragon finally came to a halt and whipped its head to the side, slamming Kaido into a stone wall with its head. Kaido grunted in pain but let go of the horn and punched the dragon in the eye, causing it to roar in pain and draw back.

Xierak grunted when he heard Akryns comment about him taking off, but nodded when he said he was taking care of the storm dragon. He watched as the red dragon charged into the man he was supposed to be helping, It seems he can hold his own… for me however… I feel the need to pull on a tail… Xierak ran around as the dragon continued to focus on the unknown mage. When he got around to the dragons back side he quickly ran up and grabbed onto the dragons tail. He then released some of the spikes around his feet to sneakily anchor himself to the ground.

Xierak then saw the dragons head recoil back, this gave him a brilliant idea, at that moment he pulled up and back on the dragons tail attempting to use the dragons own momentum to flip it over. He roared from the exertion but finally managed to do it flipping the dragon up and over him slamming it down onto its back. Xierak then jumped into the air flying up a bit then stopping facing the dragon. He then focused on the Gravitons around himself and called out, “Graviton H Smash!” Xierak then propelled himself directly at the dragons gut, slamming into it full force making it roar out in pain.

Crashing against Dragons Empty Re: Crashing against Dragons

Post by Mifune 26th April 2015, 1:29 pm

A seven headed Dragon burned a line across the sky as it flew in to Clover Lake. A moment later, all Dragons defeated or still standing evaporated in to Gold Energy, and began to gather and accumulate in the depths of Clover Lake. The Waters began to bubble ominously as a shimmer of gold radiated from the bottom of the lake, the sky began to turn dark as thick black clouds began to form over Clover Town. The process of whatever it was that was taking place went on for quite some time, all while everyone in Clover could do nothing but wait for what was about to happen, happen. The water level suddenly began to rise in Clover Lake as something grew in its depths. A lightning bolt struck the center of Clover Lake and the water burst in to the sky, sending an enormous wave crashing through the streets of Clover, flooding the entire town threatening all mages still on street level, leaving only roof tops and the the tops of trees visible.

From the Lake, the colossal calamity emerged. Ladon, the one hundred headed Dragon had finally revealed his true form. Taking one enormous step forward, the Dragon crushed a three story building under his hand. Its bottom half remained submerged, the enormity of which prevented the water from receding back in to Clover Lake for the time being. Its one hundred heads coiled and twisted around one another and looked menacingly in all directions, picking out all mages that had fought it up until now. "I am, Ladon!" Its voice rang loud and low throughout the entire town, generating a light breeze as it spoke.

The situation seemed dire to all. None would be capable of defeating such a monstrous entity. The one hundred headed Dragon roared triumphantly as all in Clover looked upon it, exhausted from their respective battles. However, when all seemed lost a bright light radiated from the sky, illuminating the entire town in daylight. The White Wizard raised his weapon and called out to all mages in Clover. "Mages! Take a moment, breath. Realize that you're not alone in this! What miracles may come, only serve to benefit those who've stood their ground! So get up and muster your courage!" Shuhei raised his sword and fired a beam of light in to the sky. "The strength of Blue Pegasus is with you, Heroes of Fiore!"

The heads of Ladon wreathed and roared in anger in response to the spell Shuhei had just cast. Suddenly, the clouds parted and a shining Pegasus descending towards Clover Town and dove in to the flooded streets. The water began to glow blue, and beads of water started to rise up in to the air and sink in to the skin of all those it came in to contact with. The water of Hippocrene, Blue Pegasus' sacred fountain and Guild Spell restored all mages to their peek and filled their hearts with courage, inspiration and the motivation to move forward. "FOOLS!" Ladon shrieked. "Show this fool what Fiore is made of!" Shuhei called out to all mages, as he himself fired his Dragon's Roar, a tremendous white ray of light."
