Heero stood in South Gate Park; hand on a railing overlooking the beautiful park that stretched out before him. The Gold Salamander's mind wandered a bit; as it drifted somehow into wondering if he would ever see Grandine or Zeuslogia again.
'Funny......a lot of the kindness I've been shown in life has come from beings that aren't even human.' he smirked as he looked up at the blue skies and white clouds. Two Elder Dragons, who'd entrusted him with so much. '.........What am I supposed to do? My real family....all gone, Alye included now....' Heero thought on his sister, the missing Eclipse Soul wizard and Ace. 'My Guild...they've shown me so much love and support......Fiore, they love me regardless of my wrongs and arrogance.....I'm so fucking stupid.....taking it all for granted.'
Heero raised a hand and stared at it as he clenched a fist. Vowing to give his actions over to the better good, and not letting his own arrogance stand in the way of it any longer. 'Maybe you should learn how to do math.....maybe some science wouldn't hurt.......hahahaha yeah right!'
He bursted out laughing at himself as a few people walking by looked at him, strangely at first, before recognizing the Fairy Tail wizard and waving. He rubbed the back of his head and bowed slightly with a nod, trying to play it cool. In truth, all Heero knew was languages of magical creatures, and ancient symbols taught to him by his old man Dragon, Zeuslogia. The Dragon taught him to read english only to help him survive.
His Exceed seemed to be missing, he wondered if he was still sleeping. Far off in the park, after managing to see past a few other people; Heero spotted one of his guildmates. He blinked a few times---remembering all the times he'd seen the Fairy Tail wizard come in and out of the Guild Hall, and watched her without saying a word, or introducing himself. It kind of disturbed him that for all his mega ass kicking and Fiore saving, that he didn't know one of his Guildmates.
Now that he thought about it, he hadn't seen her in quite some time. Where had she vanished too? Did a job get nasty? He got curious and decided now was the time to ask.
Slowly, he approached with his hands in his pockets. He stood almost six feet, fairly chiseled. His yellow eyes met her with a bright smile; an honest one.
"Well......I guess I was just wondering." he smiled at her honestly before crossing his arms and closing his eyes somewhat comically. "Don't get me the wrong way but...I've seen you leaving in and out of the Guild Hall....and noticed that you, you stopped coming for awhile there---I just wanted to know if everything was---" one of Heero's eyebrows went up as he felt he might be prying but; as a fellow Fairy Tail wizard he really was curious.
"Hey, my name's Heero." he said randomly, introducing himself as he extended his hand--a confident look passing over his face; as his eyebrows moved a little his expression showing he was actually genuine. The sun seemed to sparkle off of Magnolia town and South Gate Park as the crowds began to disperse, sunset approaching. Street lights began to flick on.
