BANG!
The harsh sound echoed around the guild hall, as the silver haired girl slapped her hand against the mission board. The noises immediately shushed as the people turned around to look at her, wondering what exactly was going on, before they returned to whatever they were doing, the laughter and jokes filling the area once again. Hika grinned, her eyes glued onto the paper in front of her, not distracted by anything. Be A Model!, it says. ”It’s time for me to shine~ Hika sang as she tore off the paper from the board and shoved it into her pocket. She wondered how it would be like to be a famous model, with fans following and paparazzi stalking, which would be quite annoying, to be honest. But of course, she didn’t want to be a famous model Humming, Hika strutted out of the guildhall. She decided that taking a train would be faster, obviously, so that she wouldn’t be late for her job anymore.
Half an hour later, she finally arrived to Magnolia after getting squished by people on the train. She thought she would be safe from rush hours but damn, all those people almost stomped over her. Shaking her head, Hika exhaled loudly and began walking to her destination, which would be the East Forest. ”Wait. What?” Hika stopped dead on her tracks, fumbled for the mission paper and scanned it quickly once again. ”Don’t tell me. I’m going to be model in a forest?!” She raised her voice, causing the people around to glare at her. ”Oops, sorry.” Embarrassed, she mumbled quietly and rushed over to the Forest. Great, just great. It didn’t take her long before she reached the location, huge verdant trees appearing in her sight. A group of people at the entrance of the forest caught her attention, and they seemed to be arguing over something.
Nervously, Hika slowly approached to the short, plump man with glasses and introduced herself. ”Um, I heard you needed people to do the modelling. I hope I’m not late or anything. Oh, I’m Hikari, by the way,” Hika grinned sheepishly and rubbed the back of her head. For a few minutes, the man didn’t do anything other than scrutinize down her body and gawk at her as if she was some weird person. He didn’t even introduce himself! What a rude man. She thought, her face frowning. ”Take off that eye-patch,” The plump man ordered. As he requested, Hika removed it and faced the man. There was a smirk plastered on his face as he observed her face and her heterochromatic eyes.
”Hm, interesting. He would rub his chin and muttered to himself.
”Turn around.”
And, she did as she rolled her eyes.
”Well, you certainly do have a rather nice body and a pretty face, but you’re slightly short.” He moved his hands in the air, emphasising on his words. ”But, actually, I think you look quite okay. So, welcome aboard!” He finally broke into a huge grin and patted her back, before yelling over to the rest of his crew and the models. ”Alright, buddies! Get ready, we’ll be going into the forest soon!” Hika began to enter the forest before she was suddenly interrupted by the man. ”Oi, kid. You need to dress up. We ain’t taking a photo-shoot with that shirt and jeans,” He laughed and walked away to his crew.
Hika was given a sleeveless long white dress that flows out around the knees and her feet, completely covering her toes, even in her newly worn high-heels. Her bust was fitted tightly into the dress so she somehow feels quite suffocated. But, the dress was indeed, extremely beautiful. By the order of the short, plump man, all of the models and the people that were included started to move into the forest. She was a sucker at giving poses but well, she did quite well for this job, probably because the cameraman was helping her as well. She was slightly worried about snakes crawling onto her while she was doing her photo-shoot but it went great. The director of this photo-shoot who was the short, plump man finally clapped his hands and informed that it was the end of the shoot. After changing back into her casual clothes, the man had congratulated her for doing well, despite that this was her first experience of being a model. Shyly, she mumbled a thank you in return before she bid farewell and left the place, with a packet of jewels in her hands.
Her first photo-shoot wasn't bad at all, as she thought it would be. In fact, she had tons of fun and did have some chance to engage into conversations with some models.
