Breaking and Exiting(Job:Venir Relush and XIerak

Xierak walked through the streets of Hargeon, he had taken up a job with Venir to stop a group of bandits from escaping with a lot of jewels. Xierak was trying to smell out a trail, but was failing due there being too many new smells and he had new reference smell for his prey. Xierak growled as he looked back and forth, trying to get a fix on the path. He glared at every irrelevant detail he saw through his hood, “Where are these stinking bandits… You would think finding these bandits would be a walk in the park…” Xierak let out a growl, then he stopped and turned around, he looked for Venir through the crowd but he couldn’t see her, “Fantastic… I have ended somehow losing Venir it seems… this is one of the many reasons why I hate cities…” Xierak sighed, he knew he could get a better idea in the air, but he wasn’t supposed to lose track of Venir, or so he thought.

"Bandits come out, come out where ever you are!"Venir called out her voice echoing. Despite having lost Xierak, she seemed rather unaffected and not to concerned in finding her guild mate. "Ooooh shiny!"Venir murmured as she gazed at the jewel on the ground, picking it up. She looked up spotting another one only a few feet and picked that one up as well. Soon enough the pinkette was following the little trail of jewels, picking up each one as she went.

In a matter of minutes the female mage had an armful of jewels, looking much like a bandit herself as she weaved in and out of shady allies. She was moving so quickly, eager to pick up the shiny jewels that she hardly noticed where she was going. Venir tripped over a loose cobblestone and the jewels hit the ground rather noisily but Venir managed to use her magic to prevent herself from falling as well. At that moment the pinkette heard the sound of voices and she froze listening in on them. "Oh no! I was being loud again! Stupid! Idiot! Great their gonna find me and Xierak's not here and I'm gonna be bandit food. What will they do with me!? I'm just a poor innocent girl who wants some jewels!" Venir took a few steps back retreating further back into the alley, listening to the voices. They sounded like they were getting closer....By now Venir had backed up and out of the other end of the alley and thought she was safe until she bumped into somebody. Letting out a yelp Venir instantly began to reach into one of her pouches before noticing who she bumped into. "Xierak perfect timing as usual!"

Xierak suddenly felt someone bump into him from behind, when he quickly turned around to see who it was. He saw Venir standing there with one of her hands in her pockets, She said he had perfect time which he slowly cocked his head one direction, “What do you mean I have perfect timing?” Xierak suddenly stopped when he saw a group of ten men ran around the corner and started looking back and forth. They then noticed Venir and Xierak standing there, with a small trail of jewels leading away from Venir. “Theres our missing stash boys! Lets get em!” Xierak growled and dashed around Venir straight for the group, “You all are the ones we have been seeking! Return what you have stolen…” The men laughed at the giant mage as he had said that. One of the men ran up and drew his sword and swung it at Xierak. He caught the blade in his right hand and then yanked down snapping the blade in pieces, “You all want to fight… so be it…”

'Monster Dice' :

To focused on the incoming bandits, Venir didn't answer Xierek. As she fumbled for her marbles, Venir watched as Xierek charged the bandits. "Watch out!"She squeaked out watching as one bandit swung a sword at her guild mate. Just as Venir had reached a hand out to try and use her magic to protect her guild mate, the sword was caught and snapped in two by Xierek. "What? How'd he?"Before Venir could speak anymore a few of the bandits made their way towards her.

"Heh. A girl!"One of the bandits pointed and pulled his dagger out. Venir stood there green eyes flickering between the bandits in front of her. Her hand was still halfway in her pouch, finally grasping a few of her marbles. "Hey! Are there more of our jewels in that pouch?"One bandit called out as they circled about her, like vultures to their prey. For once in her life Venir kept silent and instead flickered her gaze to Xierek, would he be okay? At that moment a bandit rushed at her, dagger in hand. Venir retracted her hand from her pouch.

"Ouch what the hell!?"The bandit flew back rubbing his temple, a marble like indent on his forehead. The bandits gazed at the now smiling pinkette, with soft green marbles levitating in the air around her head.

Xierak shot out his left arm, making his roves sway with his rapid movement, he grabbed one of the bandits by their head and spun around slamming him into one of the bandits attempting to come from behind and hit Xierak. He watched as the two bandits went flying and hit the wall, Pathetic humans… their steel has always been easy to break… He then turned and looked out the corner of his head cover and saw Venir had engaged two of her own, but was holding her ground for the moment. He then turned around and saw four of the bandits coming right at him.

Xierak growled and focused on the Gravitons around his right arm, “Graviton Fourth Degree Augmentation!” He felt the gravity field designed to increase the power of his blows form around his right arm, he then charged straight at the group. The four bandits lunged their swords forward in an attempt to run the large mage straight through. Xierak threw right hand forward, in a fist trying to bash the incoming bandits. Two swords hit his fist and barely slowed it down, breaking apart as the fist drove threw them slamming into the two bandits sending them flying back. The other two swords hit the left side of his torso, slicing threw a bit before their wielders backed off. Xierak stopped after the exchange and put his left hand on his wound, he felt his blood. I am bleeding a little… not bad…

"Hey stop that! That hurts!"The bandits shouted, each time they tried to rush her. They were quick but unfortunately for them, Venir was much quicker. However, in their current state, her marbles didn't do much damage but they certainly did hurt. "I guess I can't keep doing this forever...."Venir yawned seeming as if she had grown bored of the 'game' the bandits were playing with her.

"Expand..."She whispered as the two bandits rushed at her once more. This time they did not simply get a small marble to the face. They bandits flew back, getting knocked into a wall appearing to be unconscious. Which wasn't a surprise after they got hit by two hard balls that weighed nearly fifty pounds each, and each were about four meters in diameter. "Awww come on wake up! Play with me some more!"The pinkette complained before remembering something. Turning on her heel Venir spun around to assess Xierak's situation. She saw the man push off two bandits before rushing into the group and pushing off two more. "You're hurt!"She dashed over, two large marbles flanking her on either side as the small one's hovered close to her body. She reached out to touch him but stopped herself as if remembering that he doesn't like to be touched. Now wasn't the time to push his buttons anyways. Instead she focused on the remaining two bandits, "It's not nice to cut people!"She seemed almost menacing with two incredibly large marbles floating on either side of her, even more so with Xierak nearby. Not giving them a chance to speak the female mage simply directed both the large marbles over to hit the bandits.

Xierak was surprised when Venir rushed over and engaged the two bandits who had stepped away from Xierak after the extreme exchange of blows. She had started to try to tend to his injury, but had stopped, seemingly remembering his feelings about that from earlier. She then had launched her enchanted marbles at the two men knocking one out, and knocking them both to the floor. Xierak simply walked forward and put his foot and glared down at the Bandit. “These Jewels… where are you taking them…” The bandit struggled to let out a laugh, “Like I’d tell you, you overgrown Legal mage…” Xierak growled, “So you honor money over your own life… so be it…” Xierak controlled one of the spikes from his foot, in such a way it wouldn’t be noticed by anyone, he pressed it against the man’s chest.

The man then started to panic, “Wait wait don’t kill me! There is a old merchants vessel coming to the northern docks, that was supposed to be our way out!” Xierak stopped his threat and retracted the spike, he then increased the pressure on the man’s chest until he passed out from not being able to breath. Xierak then stepped off of him and looked at Venir, “Do you have the ability of flight…?”

"He's not overgrown!"Venir chirped in as she lay on top of one of the large marbles, resting on her stomach. The pinkette appeared as if she was only half paying attention. If combat and fun were not involved then she hardly cared. A simple bandits life was of no concern to her though she seemed mildly surprised that Xierak would threaten a human's life.

Soft green eyes watched Xierak's moves carefully, like a cat watching a mouse, a very large mouse. "Awwww he's only sleeping that's no fun!"She rolled over now on her back, stretching it to the point that it looked painful. Venir almost seemed disappointed that Xierak had knocked the man out. Her disappointment quickly changed to amusement, "You're hanging off the earth like a bat."The pinkette commented smiling brightly. At the mention of flight Venir sat up, sitting cross legged atop the large marble. "Flight?" Venir frowned as she thought about it. Could she fly? She could lift up to her own body weight but....She had never attempted to lift up herself. Shrugging she chose to tell a white lie, "Nope. Definitely can't fly. So guess I'm just gonna have to climb on up on your shoulders and.... Wait can you fly?"

Xierak let out a chuckle when Venir had asked him he could fly, “Well… its not your typical power of flight… and There is no climbing on me…” Xierak then manipulated the Gravitons around himself to get him to levitate into the air, “I will fly ahead to the northern docks, lets meet there, we have to make sure they cannot escape.” Xierak then flew up high, far above the buildings of Hargeon and then flew towards the north side of the docks.

When he arrived in the airspace above the area he looked down trying to spot the ship the Bandit had talked about, An old merchants Vessel… hmmm. Xierak then spotted the ship, it had men scurrying around on it, wearing clothing similar to the bandits from before. The Ship seems to be making its final preparations to disembark… Time to crash their plans… I hope you are ready to intercept any stragglers… Xierak then moved to fly downward at his maximum speed straight for the middle of the ship. Xierak then crashed into and through the middle of the ship, creating a gigantic shock wave and a shot water flying up all directions. The wood of the vessel shattered and cracked snapping the ship in two making it start to sink.

"Wait now way!?"Venir stomped her foot on the ground but by the time she had realized what he meant, it was already to late. "You can't leave me! The bandits will get me! How am I even gonna get down there anyways!?"Xierak was long gone by now leaving the pinkette in the dust. For a moments she stood there in utter shock just looking in the direction in which he took off. He was kidding right? He'd come back? She was just a defenseless mage surrounded by unconscious bandits! Actually speaking of bandits....

"Eeek!"Hearing one of them groan, Venir dashed off in the general direction in which Xierak flew. After a few moments of running, Venir stopped a sudden idea striking her. The pinkette quickly glanced around the street as if to check if anybody was looking. Seeing as no one was around the pinkette lowered one of the large marbles to the ground, and climbed up on to it with a little bit of effort. "I can't fly but this should work."She stood atop the marble staring down at the ground four meters below her. "Here's to being in the circus for all those years!"She shouted before beginning to roll the marble forward, with her on top of it. Those years in the circus really did come in handy, she was able to stay balanced atop the rolling marble with ease. Until there was a sudden downward, steep slope in the street. "No waaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!!"She yelled as the marble began to pick up pace with her frantically trying to stay atop it. In the distance Venir spotted the docks but she was far to focused on trying to stay atop the oversized marble. "Hey look out!"The pinkette shouted as a figure emerged out of a nearby building, coming right into her path....

'Monster Dice' :

Xierak floated there motionless for a moment, try and recollect his senses, Geeze… that impact was harder than expected… He heard the noises of people yelling above him and water splashing, They must be trying to get out of the water… hmm… Xierak then opened his eyes and took note of the carnage around him, pieces of wood were drifting around him as well as shards of… cloth? Xierak then looked down at himself, his robes were badly shredded revealing what he was with no issue… I guess I can’t help it… Xierak then orientated himself to look at the bay floor. He saw two sizable chests on the floor with a four bandits swimming around them trying to find a way to bring them to the surface.

Xierak then swam down, his torn robes shifting with the current, his feet hit the sea floor right behind them. He let out a low growl which reverberated through the water and caught the bandit’s attention. He then quickly extended four of his spikes from his arms and wrapped one around each of their necks. He then yanked them hard upward sending them flying to the surface. He then retracted his spikes, that’s when he felt the pain coming from various parts of his body. Xierak glanced at his right shoulder and saw a few large pieces of wood had gotten imbedded deep into his hide, I am going to feel that for a while…

The bandit hardly knew how to react. He had rushed outside because he was late and had to hurry to the docks only to see a bikini clad girl rolling down the hill on what appeared to be a giant....marble? Moments before he was about to get hit, the giant marble had disappeared from underneath the woman's feet. Unfortunately, the velocity she had gained from the marble was still with her and the pink haired woman flew right into the bandit.


"Ow! Ow! Ow!"Venir called out as she first hit the bandit, then hit the ground with him, before skidding across the ground. Other than some bruises and scratches, and maybe a mild concussion the pinkette appeared fine. The bandit on the other hand...."I wonder if his neck is supposed to look like that?"Venir turned her soft green glare on to the now regular sized marbles. "To think you guys would just shrink on me!"She scolded them as if they were conscious objects. Forgetting about the bandit that was groaning on the ground, she continued her way to the docks. Perhaps a few minutes later the pinkette arrived. She was huffing and puffing as she tried to catch her breath so it took her a few minutes to evaluate her surroundings.

"Eeeek!"She took a few steps back out of surprise. The bandits seemed to flustered to pay much attention to her. Where was Xierak!? Venir was about to retreat, when a few bandits came running down the slope that she had just come from. "Hey you!"At that moment the flustered men on the docks turned their attention towards the pinkette. Suddenly she was surrounded, apparently broken neck guy wasn't alone back there....

"Dank. Rank. Shape. Change."She whispered, two of her floating marbles came to rest in her palm before combing and changing into a Bo staff. A sudden thrill went through her as she eyed over the enemies. Sending them a quick smile she took a defensive stance, preparing for the first enemy to attack her.

Xierak bent down and grabbed each lid of the chests and opened them revealing inside was the hoard of jewels that the store owner had reported to be stolen. Xierak nodded and closed the lids, I need to bring these up with me… Xierak reached down with his right claw and hooked two claws into each of the chests and used the spikes on his hands to secure the grip. He then jumped off the sea bed headed straight for the surface by the dock ledge.

The four bandits were sprawled on the ground coughing for air as their allies surrounded the pink haired mage. One of the bandits facing the Venir yelled out, “Are you the one responsible for sinking our ship?? If so you will pay!” The bandit drew his sword but was stopped when one of the bandits on the ground spoke up, “*Cough-Cough* No… it wasn’t her… there’s SOMETHING down there… it grabbed us by the necks and threw us straight out of the water… it’s still down there… whatever that thing is…”

Xierak lunged his left claw out of the water and grabbed onto the ledge, his grey hide glistening from the water, and his shredded robes clinging to the arm. He then launched the two chests over the edge making them crash onto the ground drawing everyone's attention to the water front. “What was that, was that from one of our boys?” One of the bandits had asked. Xierak then retracted all of his spikes and grabbed the ledge with his other claw. He then began to pull himself up out of the water, as he did the entire area seemed to go silent. He had his eyes closed enduring the pain from the numerous shards of wood sticking out of his hide as he pulled himself onto the ledge and knelt there.

He then stood up and opened his eyes, revealing their burning orange color, at this point someone screamed, “MONSTER! EVERYONE RUN!” The entire street around the bandits and Venir erupted into Chaos, people running about screaming, questioning where were the Rune Knights or Lamia Scale mages. Xierak turned to face the fourteen bandits who had circled Venir, he bared his fangs and let out a deep growl, “I hope you are ready… there is no more holding back…”

"Do I look capable of sinking a ship? I'm just a defenseless girl I swear!"Venir taunted the bandits with a grin, her remaining six marbles floating around her.When one of the soaked bandits spoke up so did Venir,"Eh something's down there?"For a moment green eyes flickered over towards the waters in which the soak bandits had emerged.

The moment the chests flew up onto the docks Venir quickly took action. CLANK!The sharp ring of her Bo Staff as it connected to one of the marbles rang through the air. The little green marble flew with a great speed into one of the many bandits heads, successfully knocking him out on impact. The other marbles left her side, knocking themselves into other bandits leaving bruises. Knowing she had to get out of the ring of bandits, the pinkette dashed forward and stuck the staff into the ground before using it to launch herself over one of the bandits. Just barely clearing over him, Venir flew right into a rather solid figure. "Ouch!"She groaned before looking up to see who she had collided into, What....No wait....Who are you?"Oblivious but seemingly unafraid, Venir just took a moment to stare at the towering figure. Something seemed familiar about him. Unable to make the connection, Venir turned away from the creature that was her guildmate. "Well they seem afraid of ya." Venir chirped, "As long as you don't attack me and just those bandits. We'll be fine!"She laughed merrily, some instinct within her telling her the creature could be trusted. "Return!"The marbles that were haphazardly throwing themselves at the bandits, returned to Venir's side though they caused a few more bruises on their way back.

Xierak saw Venir come near him, but as he had expected, his fellow Guild member had no idea that he was Xierak. It is probably best… He then turned and faced the large group of bandits before him, they all seemed to be injured slightly, and completely unsure on what to do. “If you won’t come at me I have no choice to come at you!” He thrusted his right claw forward and yelled out, “Graviton Gate!” Xierak sensed the field form in front of him covering a range of three meters, he then lunged into it.

Xierak was accelerated to a speed of 30 meters per second mid-way through the affected area, he saw a bandit right at the exit and got ready to make his attack. He exited the field right in the middle of the bandits who were all caught off guard, he slammed his right claw into the bandit sending him flying back, he then extended a spike from each of his shoulders and slammed them down on to two bandits. “I am the beast you humans will not be able to conquer…” Xierak then thrusted his spikes forward and wrapped them around an enemy. He then picked them up and threw them at the Acceleration field. Xierak watched as they got pulled in, and pushed right into Xierak, their heads colliding making the unfortunate bandit fall unconscious, “Pathetic…”

The female mage took a moment to watch her 'new' ally attack the bandits. "Hmmmm that magic seems familiar!"Before she could continue to ponder aloud, a few stragglers had made their way towards the chests of jewels. "Hey! Stop right there!"While the bandits were afraid of Xierak; they certainly showed no fear of Venir. Two of them attempted to rush her, swinging their swords at her only to have them cut through thin air. Moments later, a pair of heeled boots came crashing down into one of their faces. Due to her magic, the laws of gravity were a little sketchy when applied to her, especially when it came to jumping..."You missed!"Venir laughed as the other bandit took a swing at her as she quite literally stood atop his partners face. She jumped off of that bandit, due to the gravity and its lack of effect on her, the pinkette jumped nearly ten feet up into the air. Unable to stop the swing one bandit hit the other.

"Behind ya!"The pinkette called out causing the bandit to turn and abruptly get smashed in the face with her staff. "Who's next?"She grinned almost manically at the remaining bandits who had hoped to flee with the stolen jewels while their allies dealt with Xierak. Twirling the staff like a baton Venir slowly approached the remaining group of bandits surrounding the treasure. Occasionally one of her marbles would be knocked at them by the twirling of her staff, only to bounce back off of them and at the staff, repeating the process of pelting them with marbles.

Xierak watched as Venir took on two of the bandits, and managed to knock them both out. He then watched as the remaining eleven bandits tried to run for it, “There is no running from this fight…” Xierak then raised up both of his claws and tightened them into fists, “Venir… Brace yourself…” Within the next second Xierak dismissed his Graviton Gate spell, he then slammed his fists together creating a resounding boom, “Graviton… Sphere…” A Stagnate sphere of Gravity formed around Xierak, He then put his arms to his side and finally unwrapped his tail, Now pull… everything to me…

A shockwave was then emitted from the sphere, pulling everything towards Xierak, The Eleven Bandits got caught off guard and was pulled towards him falling just short of Xierak’s melee combat range. He then growled and sent out another pulling shockwave pulling them closer once again, “Now… I hope you are ready…”

For a moment Venir seemed confused. How did he know her name? She looked over at her ally with narrowed soft green eyes. Wait...What did he mean brace herself? Her unspoken question was answered as a resounding boom echoed throughout the docks. The boom had startled both Venir and the already frightened bandits. The pinkette was more startled when she was pulled towards Xierak by...."Gravity!?"Venir planted her heels down trying to stop from being pulled towards Xierak.

For a moment it stopped and Venir thought it was over but her companion spoke up again. "Wait! No I'm not ready! I don't like not being in control of-"She was being pulled once more, even her marbles were getting tugged along with her. Venir had always been unaffected by natural gravity but gravity manipulated by magic was different. At least, she wasn't the only one getting pulled in. One of the bandits came just in her hitting range and she went to hit him with all her strength, leaving bruises that he would be feeling the next day. Then an idea hit her! Using all of her strength, Venir forced the marbles to go against Xierak's pull aligning them with four more bandits. It took a lot of concentration/energy, and Venir had to work quickly before the pull stopped. "Perfect!"She grinned stopping the marbles from pushing against Xierak's pull. Then she pushed them towards Xierak, the combined push from Venir and the pull from her allies magic caused the marbles to move at high speeds. Their hits were truly devastating. Unfortunately, the pinkette was exhausted.

Xierak watched as Venir perfectly timed her marbles with his second wave to smash them into four of the bandits. Xierak nodded and adopted a very wide stance, Seven enemies… All around me… no different from the numerous fights I had in that place… All will be crushed by me… Xierak then roared and quickly spun around extending two spikes from his chest, three from his back, and he unleashed a relentless barrage of hits on the seven bandits. Slamming his fists, tail and his spikes into the bandits, beating them within an inch of their life. Xierak then stopped and waited for the dust to settle, when it finally did he saw the seven bandits laying there on the ground, barely breathing. Xierak then stood there, his iris’s thinner than normal. He then rose up five of his spikes and aimed them at five of the bandits chests. He then thrusted his spikes at them, however a foot from the spikes impaling them…

“I am not… a monster…” Xierak then retracted his spikes, and looked down at the ground, he then glanced at Venir and took off, it didn’t matter if he received the reward or not, he wanted to hide. I leave the rest of the mission to you Venir…

"I shouldn't have pushed them so hard..."The pink haired girl sighed as the marbles that once floated through the air, rolled on the ground next to her. Soft green eyes flickered up to her ally. "Wait don't do that!"She called out, reaching her arm out as if to stop him. Her arm quickly fell back to her side. Who was she to stop him from killing the bandits? It certainly didn't affect her. Besides she lacked the energy to do much against him anyways. Before Venir could ponder farther on that, the creature stopped himself.

"Wait!" She called out, as she stood up straight her legs trembling. "You can't just leave! At least tell me who you are!"Venir only questioned who rather than what he was. He seemed like a good enough person anyways, why would his species matter if he was good? By the time Venir had asked her questions her temporary companion was long gone. With a deep sigh and frown, Venir glanced around the docks. All that surrounded her was destruction and unconscious bandits. Gathering up her marbles the female mage stumbled her way to the end of the docks seemingly sad the entire way, "I suppose I ought to find the client and collect the reward."Even the thought of money didn't bring a smile to her lips as it normally would have. Taking one last look back at the docks the pinkette sighed once more. "Why do I feel like I'm forgetting something....Oh yeah! Xierak!"Her frown turned to a pout, "He missed out on all the fun! That's what he gets for leaving me! I ought to take a chunk of his reward for myself!"Just like that Venir had cheered herself up. Pushing away thoughts of the stranger that had helped her, Venir left the docks to find the client. She had a feeling that she'd meet the helpful, strange, creature again.
