(both Heero and Dai are inactive unfortunately-- I will be finishing the last few posts and resolve the mission as best as I can!!)
I DONT REGRET MY PAST
------
Looking at the neon cloth he pulled over his abdomen, Rita subconsciously rolled her eyes at his choice of attire. “Nice shirt.” The brunet forced a snobbish chuckle. She rose an eyebrow as the boy fell to his knees suddenly; Her eyes widened with concern. She awkwardly watched as he rooted and dug around his eye. “Uhh.” She mumbled to herself, unsure what to say. She almost jumped as he pulled one of Heero’s ‘sparkles’ from his eye, the thing still shimmering in his hand. ‘Oh wow.’ She thought to herself. Unfortunately, what little sense of humor she had slipped away from her with the smoke mages comment… After all of this, the very last place Chapel was going was a diner. The very thought made he go bitter, expression becoming even more hostile then beforehand.
“Tsk we still have a job to get done, and I am afraid Chapel isn’t going anywhere.” The fairy murmured dully, her eyes falling darkly over the raven-haired mage. With her glare a pair of ‘Shadow: Make’ handcuffs manifested and locked themselves around the bandit leader’s wrists. ”However, I’m not gonna force you two to stick around. I’m capable of handling the rest of this on my own. Knowing his appetite I’m certain Heero’s starving. Go ahead and cut out early.” She insisted, her tone molding her words to sound more like a demand.
Her arms folded and crossed over her chest in a doggedly vex; Rita spun around on her heels turning her back to the group, pulling and shoving Chapel in front of her. “He’s coming with me, you are really stupid if you think we’re all gonna run off to an IHOP after this.” She bit, gesturing for the criminal to follow after her. “See ya guys later.” She murmured with dismissal, a sigh rolling off her lips. Without another word or murmured, she lead the bandit away, moving down the mountain towards the remnant of River village.
“Village Leader’s place, now.” Rita growled, narrowing sapphire irises as she directed him to head towards the leader’s home. She had the man lead the way, uncomfortable with her back turned to someone who had just tried to kill her and came an inch close to succeeding. “You know as well as I do that you’re not going to be off the hook for what you've done…”
