Raid the Farmlands!(Team Fear the Darkness)

Tenno and his two teammates had picked this job out, they were off to Raid the Farmlands, Tenno arrived a little ways away from the location where they were planning to start, this was the meeting point so that everyone could do what they had to first before coming here, Tenno would be sitting on the edge of the cliff looking over the sea as he waited, his trench coat as always went to his ankles, but was opened around the stomach area, and the place for his elbows was a little bit used, this was because of him loving to use his sword so much that was laying on the ground beside him, but because of the use it made it easier to swing his sword around, Tenno sighed softly and kicked his feet back and forth, knocking dirt and rocks into the sea below, how easy it would be to jump, but why waste the time, let alone he would only just use his wings to fly himself back to safty, Tenno shrugs and looked back out, soon the next raising sun's sky will be red and pink, the sign that blood was shed during the night, Tenno would let a slight grin come to his face at this thought, time seemed to move so slowly right now, he looked at his sword knowing it was just waiting for the taste of these puny and pathetic people blood, maybe somewhere off in the distance, is a much more worthy kill waiting to be slaughtered

From the sky the world below looked so much like an ant farm, watching each and every person move about as if they didn't have a care in the world, which some did and some didn't but that wasn't his call. Overhead the farm sat Yuuki, sitting amongst the currents of the wind watching and observing before his meeting with his teammates. Of course he had to have some sort of basis to go off of before making any form of attack, anyone could run in and slaughter someone, but it took someone with a good plan to make it all worth while. He had been there for what seemed to be hours,simply lurking in an inconspicuous area in which many wouldn't normally look to. With the farmers working harder in the day, he had figured that his partner would want to attack at night, which to his dismay was coming up. Letting out a small sigh he would turn around and begin to head towards the direction in which the team was supposed to meet. By the time dusk had landed, he had appeared behind his fellow teammate, the wind dying down slowly as he came into the area," So you ready? Seems like the farmers are slowly winding down before nightfall," slowly he would scratch the back of his head and he looked over the distance into the farm.which was soon to be ablaze.

Kuro grinned widely, his armored outfit and mask covering his body. "Yeah, and that makes it the perfect time to strike. We do have a duty after all." Kuro spoke in dark humor. He expected this job to be amusing but also slightly boring. There would be no test against his skills, but he needed his team on his level before they could take the more ridiculous missions. He idly remembered seeing one involving a dragon, which caused him to almost drool at the thought of fighting one. Fuck the hell yes! "In any case, what do you say we have a bit of fun?" Kuro smirked. He knew something these two did not, mostly because he had been here previously. While they had not upped the guards, the crop they grew had changed from corn, to cannabis. This would be the most amazing mission ever, he believed. Kuro jumped off the fence he had been standing on, which was a few meters away from Tenno, to mark the edge of the land of the farms, before launching off at incredible speed towards the farmers, though he made sure that he did not go full speed, instead going just enough to make his teammates push themselves to keep up. Maybe this could count as training too? It could be considered that by him, but who else would really consider such a simple mission to be a training session? Well, D ranks, he supposed, along with the weaker C ranks. He, however, was ridiculously strong and fast in the physical manner, allowing this supposedly difficult mission to feel like child's play.

'Monster Dice' :

Tenno would stand up and pick up his sword as the last mage arrived, then as he looked to the team he nodded to himself, and he would take off running as fast as he could through the crops, trying his best to Follow Psychosis, then all of a sudden he takes a wrong turn and...BLAM runs smack into a hired guard, seems the last people to do this left evidence it was people who did it and they hired some people to handle it for them, well then from the look of his man he seemed to have some armor, as well as a sword which while Tenno was on the ground the man drew his sword and looked at tenno with a smirk saying to him "Well, Well Seems I got me a little fish to fry" And Tenno would quickly roll backwards as he stood up, disappearing behind the cannibus long enough to ready his sword before the guard even knew he had one, then Tenno would charge out of the weed with his sword in his left hand and he was facing the guard, who also turned to meet him with a smirk, and the sword duel began, they were exchanging sword parries and thrusts back and forth, Tenno quickly realized as much as he was more skilled then the guard he was dueling, this man seemed to have a sword that was of the longsword branch and not a rapier, just tenno's luck, so tenno would make sure to avoid to much more parring, before he would begin to jab his sword at the man in the armor, almost as if they were in a fancy dance, it was jab from tenno, dodge and slash from the guard, duck and swipe from tenno, back step and ready himself, tenno was really just toying with this guard, then suddenly when the guard seemed to be a little over powering, Tenno would switch hands and the moment the guard charged one last time, Tenno dropped to a knee, his right knee in particular, and his left leg hit the ground fully, his right hand angled the blade just right, so that the man ran and the blade slipped into a weak spot in the armor and pierced his heart, the guard was moving to fast and tenno was as well so nothing could be done to stop what was to happen, the guard more or less skewered himself on Tenno's blade, and as tenno looked up at the man, he could watch the light of life leave the mans eyes, tenno believed he could even see a glimpse of the life the man had in the light before it faded, this would forever change Tenno and darken his heart more, Tenno would stand up and pull the sword of his from the guards chest, and he would wipe the blood off on the mans exposed cloth, then he would run back into the cannibus, after dragging the body into the weed as well, and returned to following the best he could behind Psychosis, most likely by this point behind Yuuki now, but that did not matter at all to him.

These two....Well it wasn't like there was an abundance of people he could or would work with so these two would work just fine, although between the three of them Yuuki could be discerned as the more...combat laxed of the three. Seeing as the other two were ready to commence the operation he would point to a small point in the farm area in which he wanted," If you wouldn't mind staying away from that area, we will be fine. I've been watching that area since i got here so...let's go shall we?," of course as he finished speaking the other two took off which caused him to sigh," Damn persistent bunch aren't they? Well let me get to work," as he finished speaking he would dig his feet into the ground and use his magic to propel him off the face of the cliff and into the air, taking flight and heading towards the small patch that he was going to clear himself.

Being one for planning his assaults he would float just above the ground and look at the few farmers and guards standing there. At first he was smiling before a grin took over his demeanor, a simple snap of his fingers as blade of wind began to form and cut through one of the guards. His body which was once perfectly fine dropped to the ground in a splurge of his own blood, the farmers beginning to panic and freak but it was already to late. By the time they had knew what was going on the air around them began to condense or rather begin to pressure their body. Within an instant their bodies were pressed hard to the ground as he smiled and moved towards them," Today is your unlucky day....too bad you couldn't prey before you died," with that he would proceed to...perform some very dirty killing as their screams filled the air.

Kuro, making sure to monitor the two, was surrounded by a few hired guards. Pathetic things, considering his moderate level of power. The reality of the danger did not exist nearly so much for him as it did his team. That was why he did not use some complicated spell to deal with these weaklings, he wanted to see how his team dealt with them first. He knew he could deal with them, having done it before, but one did not forge a blade without applying heat, or complicated magic. Usually the former. This small challenge was the starting embers of a blaze which would forge these two into powerful mages. He hoped. 

"We have you surrounded! Surrender!" The guards said, causing Kuro to finally notice those idiots who assumed they were able to match a mage of his stature. Actually, if they had any power whatsoever, instead of those blades which they had no idea how to use, they may have posed more threat than the household rat. 


"Au contraire! This simply means I can attack from all sides at once!" Kuro grinned sadistically, causing the guard who spoke to gulp. In a flash, his two swords, Agni, and Rudra, were in his hands. Kuro spun, before he paused dramatically, having come full circle. For a moment, nothing happened. Then, the guards who were around him before suddenly fell apart, as if, oh I dont know, they had been cut to pieces, obviously by a sword. "Now, how are those two doing?" He idly noted that his almost useless fire at lit the cannabis on fire. Amusing, and oh fuck the hell yes. Ignoring that for now, he began to pay more attention to the other two, clapping as they killed their targets. Call him lazy for not doing as much work, but hell, he knew he did not need to.

As Tenno ran to catch up he caught sight of the display that Psychosis put on and shook his head, noting that the plans hand been lit on fire, interesting, as Tenno ran through the smoke, he noted the sensation he was having as being off, and Tenno would begin to grow a little more relaxed and light spirited, his run would slow down to a walk and he would let loose random giggles as he approached Psychosis and says to him "hehe I feel funny" said that, it made him seem to remember some of his past, funny how this stuff did so much for being such a small plant, The memory of Tenno's would take him back to when he first started with his intrest in magic, remembering how he lost so much because of magic, and remembering what all he had to this point thanks to magic, Tenno knew, he had to get stronger, he had to learn more magic, only then could revenge be served out, to those who needed it, the rune knights, the ones who took his family from him, even the girl he loved, all slaughtered before his very eyes, and the man with the scar on his eye, he was the one to blame for it all, and Tenno would make sure, each one would pay very dearly, and they would each cry for his mercy as his whole town did, but would give none, just like the rune knights, you treat others the way you want to be treated, and tenno would make sure they got treated how they treated others

'Monster Dice' :

With the current bloodshed mixed with the dusk, things were going oh so well for Yuuki as he made his way through a couple of farmers and guards only stopping to turn his head towards the field," Ahh that fresh serene look in the world when something a lit on fire and burning so brightly...Almost makes me want to concoct some sort of poem to commemorate the occasion here," feeling rather artistic in a sense he grabbed the last farmer and looked him dead in the eyes, the off-setting slate grey eyes simply staring into his soul before shrugging. It sucked to be this man in the throes of chaos and death, and the only thing he could do at the moment was cower in fear....and squirm. With a single action he would pull the man closer and smile," Any last rites for the man who will die with a fiery smile on his face?," Well the man was..rather quiet so in the end, Yuuki simply launched him into the air his destination set for the burning patch of crops. By this time he had been feeling a little off...way to lax for his current self with a sudden need to ...express himself, although the smell in the air warrented some questions that he wasn't inclined to answer. Walking over to his two comrades he would eye them for a moment before slouching over and shrugging," So...What's burning?"

Kuro yawned, getting a bit bored with this nonsense. That, and he just felt amazing at the moment. "That would be the cannabis burning." Kuro chuckled, amused at this turn of events. His... fifth? Seventieth? Whatever, his first mission with these two and it involved burning cannabis. He loved that smell too, which was odd all things considered. He could barely care though, as the blood he had spilled seemed so much better with that action. Cannabis was much better with friends, but the blood looked absolutely beautiful because of it. Throw his sword in a random direction, Kuro was gifted with the sound of a squelch, the sound which indicated his sword had pierced someone right in their gut, killing them. He giggled. High was fun. Perhaps he should do this more often. Though the butterflies got distracting as hell, he had to admit. Flapping their wings in his face like that, who did they think they were?! Kuro shook his head, trying to focus and maintain his sanity. Rather, trying to keep a grip on what was left of his sanity. After all, he DID take the name Psychosis. A lovely story behind that name, but that was for another time. Any other time.

Tenno would see another random guard come running in their direction, but Tenno was no longer in the mood to kill the man, was no longer wanting to much of anything other then enjoy the scenery and the smell of the smoke in the air, so as the man was almost at Tenno he would move ever so slightly out of the way, all but his foot, and he would send the man spralling into the fire, and while in the fire, began to scream from the heat and pain, and soon felt nothing, not because he was dead, but because of the smoke of the cannabis, numbing his pain, still did not change the fact the man began to slowly burn to death, Tenno slightly frowned at the man he sent into the fire, but then looked up at Kuro and over at Yuuki witn glossy eyes and a big smile on his face, the thoughts running through Tenno's mind, was he was seeing these little guards as Rune knights, the ones that destroyed his home, and he seen it as he was returning the favor, he wanted equality in all things between everyone, so as innocents was slaughtered by rune knights, he would do the same to these fools

'Monster Dice' :

Eyes lowering....Mouth feeling weird...Stomach having a three part mamba and the word cannibas..Yeap he was high and he didn't happen to care at the moment, but one thing was for sure something really fun was about to happen soon. The rustling of a nearby crop of corn caused the males eyes to shift albeit slowly towards it, something had been coming towards them and even in his laxed state a job was a job. Shrugging he would hold up his right hand towards the crops, a green circle of magic appearing before him before a multitude of wind blades began to appear and cut through the first of the three farner that had appeared, somehow wondering when these poor people were going to learn not to try and deal with the magically inclined with pitchforks and hoes. Then again the three were here on their ground trying to kill them and burn their shit so its to be expected almost." More work....this is going to kill my buzz I swear," glancing back to the other two he would nudge his head towards where the mages and farmers were coming, indicating that their pothead asses needed to get in gear.

Kuro chuckled as the enemies began to approach. Not even mages! How pathetic, these beings were. To even attempt an attack on Kuro. He had to ponder where the hell the Rune Knights were, but he didnt care. So long as his kill count kept climbing he was happy. Climb it did, considering his actions. Most would assume an electricity mage to be based on quick, short lasting spells. Kuro was the exact opposite. His spells were varied, as his style of magic was. To put it bluntly, Kuro did not focus on any specific branch. He was varied, and he loved it about his magic. Holding his hand above his head, his two swords flew towards his hand, hilt first. The two swords began to spin in a circle above his hand, as if they were fused together. Suddenly, Kuro threw his hand downward, the swords keeping their relative position with each other, spinning wildly all the while. The swords then flew outward, targeting several enemies. The swords split through them like a finely made katana sifting through paper. The blood squirting from the various wounds, a beauty to Kuro. The wonderful sight of blood, though he could not smell it... It was lovely, regardless. "You two, I sense a few more fucks approaching."

'Monster Dice' :

Tenno would sigh softly at hearing the comment of more coming, he would draw his rapier and would use his spell to allow him to fly, wings made of runes would grow from his back it would seem, and they would begin to flap once formed and he would launch up into the sky, and as he did, he could see from the sky, it looked like a few farmers with a decent enough grouping of guards, but these guys were still nothing, Tenno would chuckled as his high was still going, and as these guys were in the smoke now for as long as everyone else, he was sure the farmers and the guards were rather high as well, time to fuck with them, Tenno would make a large screeching sound, trying to sound like some demonic chicken to something that could fly, and he would swoop down over their heads, startling them and making them drop any light sources, and as tenno flew up and spun around in the air, he would swoop down once more, this time having his rapier pierce one of the men in the middle before taking off again, now he would watch as they would scatter, these guys were not very smart it would seem, then again, they are high and some bat chicken demonic thing has started attacking from above, they could not make heads or tails of the situation now, Tenno would swoop down on the closest one, and pick him up, and fly back up into the air, then when he found the next closest one he would drop the first man onto him, and watch as they fell to the ground screaming, ah this was the sound to hear, tenno would eventually throw his raiper down and pierce them both at the same time, and pinned them to the ground, he would then fly down to get his rapier before looking around from the sky for his next target

'Monster Dice' :

Things were getting fun to say the least, more and more of these creatins were coming from the wood work as it were....The air had been filled with the aroma of the cannibis and blood as the night continued to flow and come into existence. Around his body the winds of the world began to pick up in his grasps until he had smiled and waved his right hand, pulling someone of the fire into his throes and setting some of the mages on fire in the process," Master of wind isn't that bad....now where oh where were those other mages we were promised," the sound of a squelch came from behind him as he simply looked over his shoulder, the mangeled body of a mage coming upon him until it was nothing but half a man. The body dropped and slumped about for a moment before ceasing all forms of life," Oh there are the mages I wanted...or have I been fighting them this whole time? Holy shit....," with the current events it wouldn't be that long before people had found out what had been going on...but did he care? Nope. Looking arond he slowly bent down and picked up a piece of mangled mage, slightly singed by the fire and took a bite from it...Savoring its flavor before throwing it behind him and shrugging," Wasn't done yet," maybe at  some point he should try some of the mage to his left.

Kuro blinked. All these... things. They werent humans, they were targets! Albeit slow and weak targets which he could deal with in his sleep, but still. Maybe Yuuki and Tenno were challenged in the slightest, but for Kuro, this was smacking a child around. Almost literally, with how young these guys looked. Worse than that, only a few mages had appeared, and he couldnt let himself vent on them, he had to let the two others get field experience, which left him throwing his swords rapidly at any weaker monsters, leaving just a few earth and fire based mages for Tenno and Yuuki to deal with. The basic guards and advanced guards were far too weak to be anything but fodder to him. Hopefully this would be the last thing he had to do for a while, but damned if it wasnt boring. Teaching kids always was though. Perhaps it could be a nice test of patience for the mad mystic? Pfft, absolutely not. Kuro was close to just fighting his two allies for fun at the moment, but he refrained. Dragging two corpses of allies back to the guild would not be good. Well, it may be, depending on what conditions had occurred.

Finally, as Tenno finished Picking them apart, he could hear and feel and almost got hit with fire and wind spells, and as he looked down, the mages had finally arriaved, and so while twisting and turning, through the air, dodging spell after spell, his Speed rune being activated, allowing for quick navigation in the air, as he touched down with his rapier in hand and he would skewer the closest one to him and with a devilish grin across his face, he became a whirl of nothing but that sword, his speed rune making him lose a little strength, but making him fast enough to make dodging easy and his sword swinging fast as can be, one, two three, drop like flys, and he counted as he went along hacking and dicing them into nothing it would seem, but the number of mages was enough to eventually over whelm him and get him once, he had spun right into a fireball, and it hit dead on, and he would stand up, charred, small flames and smoke raising up from him, and he would growl out in a low tone of voice "Let party" and he would begin to generate a blood bath, a thick mist in the air of their blood that lingered from his dance when he was finally done with his small grouping of mages, when he was done, he counted them all out, fifteen mages felled to his hand, thankfully it was only cause of his speed, if he went for power, he would not have been able to dodge what he did, and they would have decimated him, he would turn back to Kuro and Yuuki to see their progress with things and see if they might need help

One in the ground, another quite literally killing through anything that stood in his way and then there was Yuuki...Bobbing and weaving through fire spells, occasionally using the fire itself to strengthen his own magic and force theirs back towards them. The sounds of burning men and women combined with the occasional farmer that had somehow managed to live, his kill count of mages was a lowly number of ten, but at this point it wasn't about killing them...it was about having a bit of fun in the process. While the others had weapons, Yuuki enlisted the help of his right hand and a couple of wind blades, waiting for the right moment to slice an unsuspecting mage in half with the power of a million tiny jazz hands. Two more dropped as he walked over their bodies, looking at the carnage his two teammates caused before looking to a single piece of land not burned or cindered. With a flick or rather large wave of both his hands, he used his magic to utilize some of the fire around him and boom!! Maybe he should have learned how to use some fire instead of wind, but this was just as good. With what he thought was a good job done, he slowly made his way over to the others curious to how their efforts went.

The two had done decently enough, but Kuro was far too bored to do this again. These two may be exciting when they ranked up, but for now they were rather boring to him. "Yeah, this job is done, lets go." He was really, really bored. Perhaps training a secondary magic would help ease his mind. Apparently cannabis made his mind move even faster, which made this situation twice as boring. This had been the worst job he had been on so far. Boring, little to no talking, not much blood, and the cannabis making his mind work in overdrive. It was horrific to him, since boredom was practically physically painful, but the sheer amount of power behind his mind now... good lord, he was bored. So far beyond bored it had become a part of his personality, rather than his mood. He began to walk in the direction of the guild, signaling for the other two to follow. The 'fun' was over. Hopefully he could find a faster paced mission next time... probably do it alone too. Other people always made his jobs last longer and usually less fun. It also meant he could work alone, like he had been born to! Always staying in motion and keeping awake. Never pausing, always fighting! Until he died, he would keep fighting! He swore that long ago... on that man's grave. He would not falter, but having people with him... He was always worried he would bring them down with him. They did not need him, but maybe they didnt know that. He was just a weapon in the end, and they would find another. Kuro shook his head of those thoughts, and continued his trek home...
