- Description: Debtors Curse is a magic that is based around the “lending” of magic power to an opponent, with the requirement that it gets repaid with interest. If an opponent is unable/doesn't pay their debt, they go “bankrupt”. This entails their magic power being locked, and hence unusable, for a portion of the battle.

- Clovis' Use of Debtors Curse: Clovis places a mark on an opponent, creating an account with them. When an account is made, any attacks from opponent or Clovis will transfer debt between the two until the remaining balance is 0. Clovis uses spells to increase debt and get closer to causing a bankruptcy. Clovis also developed a way to “waive” a portion of debt to deal damage to an opponent and defend himself. This aspect of his magic is only doable because the loaned magic to the opponent is his magic to begin.

Attacks: Clovis' attacks increase the mp-debt of an opponent of equal or lesser rank by 5%. (Clovis punches opponent. Transfers 5% mp. Clovis gets punched, 5% has been paid off.) Although, the interest set in affect by DC requires that 20% extra of the acquired debt be paid to close the account.
Clovis requires the use of acquired debt to use several of his spells. But when debt has yet to be accrued, he can use magic power to activate spells. When spells are activated this way, half the debt that would have been accrued, or damage dealt, is halved.

- Because he is transferring the magic to an opponent, the target can use said magic power. Whether it be to attack, defend, or support.
- He can't permanently bankrupt an opponent. When this happens, it lasts for 4 posts.

- Account Supervising Nuisance (Passive): When Clovis has marked an opponent, a small chibi accountant will appear off the side of the battle. He will hold a board, that takes notes of the transfers that have been made. He talks about them and can become a real nuisance with his constant chatter.
- Interest: ASL will increase the amount owed by 10% of the standing amount every post. (Very slow climb initially)
- Bankruptcy: This ability only takes effect when the target has accrued more magic power debt than they can pay. Clovis' ASN will appear in front of the opponent and disable their use of magic and abilities for a total of 4 posts. (I would like to hold that I can keep track enough of the account Rp this in thread.)

Type: Offensive
Description: Clovis marks the enemy through physical contact. When the mark is made, it allows Clovis' spells to have a target and allows ASL to open an account. The initial act of marking transfers 10% mp.
Strengths:- Marks the opponent for further attacks.
- Spell lasts for 3 posts.
- Begins the debt at it's highest initial cost. 10%
Weaknesses:- Loan Mark can only mark one person during the duration. After target is marked, the spell begins it's cooldown.
- If Clovis uses magic that has NOT been loaned, Loan Mark still applies but the initial debt is 5%. (This applies if Clovis is marking a second person. He must have marked an opponent to have opened a debt account.)
- If the opponent pays their debt off their loan mark will be nullified.

Type: Defensive
Description: Clovis tells ASN to defend. The debt is either waived or mp cast from Clovis himself. Clovis is then accompanied by another copy of ASN. When Clovis is to be attacked, the copy of ASN will take the attack for Clovis.
ASN Copy: Can take 2 D-rank damage or equal.
Strengths:- ASN can block multiple attacks.
- The copies of ASN will last for 3 posts.
- ASN can be used to block for allies.
Weaknesses:- Because Clovis must tell ASN to activate this spell, he needs a moment to activate. Cannot be activated while in the midst of an attack.
- If Clovis uses magic that has NOT been loaned, the ASN can only withstand 1 D-rank damage.
- If the opponent pays their debt off before ASN goes onto cooldown, the spell will be canceled.

Type: Offensive
Description: Clovis activates this spell by telling ASN the phrase “Collect what is mine.” When he does, ASN creates 4 extra copies of himself. The copies fly toward the opponent and make them an offer of payment. Where 50% of the acquired debt (with 15% interest of the requested amount is added) is paid to Clovis in exchange for lifting a large portion of the debt. (50%) If it is refused, each collector will swarm the opponent and attack for 1/4 d-rank damage. (Max D-rank damage)
Strengths:- The hive will only target the marked opponents. No ally damage.
- The copies are very speedy. It is difficult to avoid debt collectors. Very difficult to avoid any more than 2.
- Each collector that makes contact increases amount owed by 2.5%
Weaknesses:- Weak: The physical damage can easily be blocked by d-rank physical attacks.
- If Clovis uses magic that has NOT been loaned, ASN will only make 2 copies of himself.
- If the opponent pays their debt off completely, the collectors will deal equal damage to CLovis

Name: Chapter 13: Bit by Bit

Description: Clovis activates “Bit by Bit”. When the spell activates ASL will drop the debt by an amount (up to 15%) and lower that physical trait of the enemies by that percentage. (Attack, Defence, Speed) A die will be cast by ASL to determine the lowered stat. (1&2=Attack, 3&4=Defence, 5&6=Speed)
Strengths:
Lowers one of the opponents stats.- Since the opponent has already been marked, the spell lowered stat cannot be avoided.
- Clovis may pay an additional D-rank of his mana to allow him to choose the stat that is lowered.
Weaknesses:- Unless the additional mana is paid, the lowered stat cannot be chosen.
- If Clovis uses magic that has NOT been loaned, Bit by Bit will lower the stat by half the amount paid
- If the opponent pays their debt off before the duration ends, the lowered stat will be applied to Clovis for the remaining duration.
Duration: 4 Posts
Cooldown: 6 Posts - Marks the opponent for further attacks.
