Everything is Permitted (Nakiya and Psychosis)

He hadnt been on a job in a while, so he had decided to simply take one. Not some complicated job where he had to slay a beast, then use some kind of ritualistic spell to revert the dead beast into a living human or something, just a simple assassination. Except he didnt need to use stealth, which made this job about ten times more fun. Though he had to take a team mate with him, which sucked. Thankfully, Nakiya had been willing to join him on this little adventure of death, which did not suck. If anything, she was the only mage he had connected with on any level, even in the guild. He was a solitary sort. Currently, the mage known as Kurokon Shikyo, was leaning on a wall in the village, arms folded in front of him. The strangest part was, unlike before, he was no longer wearing his mask or armor. It was strange because he had rarely taken off either before, although his hair, being the strange spiky style it was, made it obvious to those who knew him personally that he was Psychosis, the Electric mage of Savage Skull.

The reason he was waiting, and out of armor, was simple. He, being the person he was, did not wait for Nakiya. Once she accepted, he left and decided to scout the town. Even so, with how he looked and the magical aura he gave off, it should be obvious to a skilled mage that this man was a mage. Considering he was the only one in the village at the time, it was of little surprise that his location should be obvious to Nakiya, hopefully. He actually did not know if she possessed any sensory skills or not, but if she did not, he would just wait a bit more before starting the bloodshed. While his own sensory was good, it did not cover a village. As such, he would not be able to find her. On the brightside, once the bloodshed did start, he could always meet her in the middle, considering that would be a huge sign that the job started. All he had to do was wait, and see whether or not she could find him. If not, then the bloodletting would begin...

It had been rather annoying to find out that her partner in today’s crime hadn’t waited for her before taking off… He was the one who had asked her to help him on this job, and yet he still went ahead anyways. She was half tempted to let him take this Knight on alone and laugh as he came back beaten and bloodied. Yet, she knew she couldn’t do that… a part of her couldn’t help but think how Harrigan would react to her having abandoned a valuable asset of the guild to his fate. She shuddered slightly before summoning Pegasus and using the Celestial Spirit to reach her destination much, much faster than any caravan.
 
It barely took her any time at all to reach the river village where she landed some ways away and dismissed Pegasus before walking towards the village. She had dressed herself in much less provocative clothing, seeing how they were supposed to assassinate someone.  She had a pair of plain black pants covering her legs, hiding away her Savage Skull tattoo. Her top however remained much the same, only with greys, blacks and deep reds . Even her hair was tied back into a high bun to keep her hair out of the way.
 
She casually walked through the town, looking like nothing more than a tourist in the village, peering about curiously until she found whom she assumed to be the man she was looking for. A single lone figure standing on his own and seeming to wait for someone. The hair of this man was a dead give away, spiking up as if he had suddenly been struck by lightning, and the look on his face seemed familiar to her, even though it was normally covered up by a mask. She walked up to him, and carefully wrapped her arm around his as if he had been waiting for his girlfriend to show up the entire time.

“Okay, I admit it, behind that mask is a pretty handsome face.”
She teased him with a slightly crooked smirk, her eyes darting out to the seemingly quiet village.

'Monster Dice' :

Za'cha was sitting at one of the village's quaint café's, enjoying a cup of tea along with a good book. "Now this is the way to whittle the time away." he mused as he turned the page. He glanced at a clock in the shop window briefly before frowning as a shadow was cast over him. "Do you mind?" he asked, closing the book before he looked at the source of the shadow. "You're blocking my reading light." The Ex-Quip mage raised a brow at the sight of a Rune Knight looming over him. "And what can I do for you officer?" he asked as he slowly stood up, keeping his hands clear of anything to show no ill intent.

"We have reason to believe you were part of recent raids-" was all they got to say before Za'cha connected a punch to their jaw, flooring them. "And I was enjoying that chapter as well..." he sighed before looking at the clock once more, before raising an eyebrow at the sight of over a dozen Rune Knights bearing down on him. "Well... they should be here by now. Might as well start this party. Hidden Saber, Crescent Wave!" he invoked, the large sword appearing in his grasp before it fired the arc of Dark Magic into their ranks.

Stats:

Kuro knew she was here the moment she stepped inside his Kenbun's range. A wonderful sensory technique, if a bit unmastered, but still. The basic concept of sensing low level discharges of electricity in the body, and using it to detect the presence of both magic and lightning based magic... it was rather useful, it he was honest with himself. The potential for it, however, he knew he had yet to even scratch. Anyway, Kuro grinned widely, surprisingly not looking psychotic in doing so, "Well, you saw under mine, how about I see under yours?" He joked. While he wouldnt mind that, he would rather prefer to do so after the mission which had a chance of death. Or at least imprisonment.  Though that WOULD be a nice way to do a mission, it would probably not be wise. Then again, itd prove a nice distraction, though to both sides. "And no, I was waiting for you, figured youd be mad if I stole all the action." In truth, he felt like being nice for a change. Probably because he had sorted out some of the thoughts that had caused his rage before, when they had temporarily done those few jobs together.

Suddenly, a loud noise that Kuro couldnt describe occurred. He turned towards it, and noticed the various people trying to exit the area. Stepping in front of one to stop them, Kuro asked "Whats going on?" in his more authoritative voice, which seemed much calmer than his previous insane sounding voice.

"Some dark mage has been spotted in town, near the bookstore. They have rune knights fighting him, but who knows how long they will take?" The man scurried off like the rat he was.


"Some motherfucker just interrupted our job. Probably to help, or to be a dick." Kuro snorted, having spoken that line in almost a monotone. "Lets see who our mystery guest is, shall we?" A grin spread on Kuro's face, before he pulled out his mask and placed it on his face. Thankfully, the mob of civilians were too busy fleeing to notice, which meant his identity was still safe. "I wear it so I can walk about freely without it." Kuro answered the unasked question regarding his mask.

Kuro flew, not literally, towards where the commotion was coming from, with his insane speed. Granted, that was only to a civilian. To someone like Nakiya, or Za'cha, he was moving slightly faster than them, considering his magic was focused on mostly close range combat, with minor long range techniques for safety. Of course, combined with his natural speed and strength, coming from his lineage, he was an absolute monster in close ranged combat. All this added up to say he reached the bookstore very fast. In the moment he saw the rune knights, all around the place, he decided to make this a war on two fronts. Taking out his two blades, he ran right into a Rune knight who was facing towards Za'cha, blades facing forward. This meant the Rune Knight was now missing two lungs. On the bright side, the Rune Knight had two gnarly chest piercings, with only the slight downside of dying a painful death.

And with that, Kuro had announced his presence. Staring at Za'cha, Kuro grinned, though it was not visible because of his mask. "Hi there." While he would not be recognized by the man when he was not wearing his mask, it was obvious who he was when he was wearing it. Hopefully the man knew him from the guild, even though Kuro rarely spoke to anyone there.

"Well well, maybe if you're a real bad boy, I'll show you all of me."
She taunted him, pressing herself against him and even going so far as to giving him the lightest of kisses on the cheek before smirking.


"If you had stolen all my fun... I would have flat out killed you."
She said simply before suddenly being spun around when Kuro did. She raised an eyebrow and huffed almost angrily as she listened to the very brief exchange between Kuro and whoever the hell had answered his question. She simply rolled her eyes as the news of a dark mage in town reached her ears and reached down to her leg to extract the keys hidden in a pouch strapped to her thigh.

"Well... so much for the usual quiet approach."
The woman grumbled as she extended her key. A Dark magic circle appeared next to her, stars lining the dark shapes as it opened up, giving way to Leo as he stepped out of the gate. The lion spiit looked at his mistress and wolf wistled before placing his arm around her shoulders.

"my my...mistress... I must say those pants ar extremely flattering... and your hair up like that, gorgeous!"
He began before being interupted by Nakiya as she grabbed his tie and pulled him closer to her.

"Listen up Leo, unless you want a repeat of last night, you will go in there and destroy those knights."
She ordered the lion spirit who gulped loudly and nodded before being let go. The lion then darted towards the scene at top speeds, stopping only once he could have a clear view of the Knights from outside.

"Regulus Blast!"
A dark steam of shadow magc was suddenly thown towards the Rune Knights, and Za'cha.

Za'cha's eyes narrowed as he and Pride sensed something... no, someone else was nearby, before watching as blades suddenly appeared in one of the Knights chests. The Ex-Quip mage peered at the masked mage responsible. "Have we met before?" he asked before hearing an all too familiar roar coming from behind him.

"Darkwarp Raiment!" he invoked, the winged armour taking form around him and sending him into the sky above as the Regulus Impact seared past where he'd been standing and into the Rune Knights. "Wonder if that hit masked man too..." he mused before looking towards the source of the attack.

"You're lucky I've heard that attack several times before Princess! You almost hit me!" called down Za'cha from his vantage point in the sky before he turned to regard the Rune Knights below. Only a handful of them survived that attack, maybe three at best... depending on how one defined survival. He came down to the ground beside the Red-Head, remaining in his armour though with his sword still drawn.

"Was wondering when you were going to turn up for the fun. When I heard that this Heracles bloke was turning up here... well." he said with a gesture to his own magical suit of armour and weapon. "I barely ever get to fight a Requip mage... if ever."

'Monster Dice' :

Kuro, having stabbed the knight and introduced himself, flipped his body around, bringing the dead knight with him. Instead of dodging or using his magic to block the Regulus Blast, he simply blocked with the corpse of the dead knight. Wait, he had been moving just a moment ago, which mean, while the wounds Kuro gave him were fatal, it was actually the Regulus Blast which killed him. "Oi! Whats the bright idea?" He paused for a moment, glancing around him to see the bit of destruction the blast had caused. "You stole my kill... and the rest." He sounded genuinely sad at that moment, before he narrowed his eyes. He knew what he was feeling with Kenbun, and glanced at Nakiya and Za'cha in his most serious way. Considering the mask hid his face, it was a surprisingly authoritative stance. "We have a few visitors. Two high power mages and four moderately powered mages, none of them use electricity. The two more powerful ones seem to be waiting until the four weaker ones either finish us, or for them to die. Id wager they do not have much loyalty because of that, meaning either rogues or a dark guild, so no retribution to worry about. The four weaker ones are coming from the east, and closing in at a rather... slow pace. Arrogant fucks. Alright, we will need to take them out fast if we are to deal with the two more powerful mages." Kuro hoped the two got the hint, but hell so long as he got to kill shit, did it matter what happened? Well, he certainly did not feel like dying, but that could always be avoided. "At least one of us should not show our magic any more, so they will not know what to expect." Thankfully, the only magic he had used so far was his passive Kenbun, which would be not only hard to detect, but would reveal nothing of Kuro's magic. He may make the best choice, but it was up to his two allies. He wasnt so obsessed with killing things really, just a good fight. Either way, he would be getting one, so he was happy. Besides, what better way to look badass than to take down a C rank mage without using magic? Swords would work just fine.

"Please. If I wanted to hit you I wouldn't have used Leo. I've got tricks even you haven't seen yet."
She stated simply from her position as she watched Leo's Regulus blast take out the Rune Knights. She moved to step towards her comrades but paused at Kuro's words, nodding gently.

"Well, once you've seen Leo the lion prowling around, you can pretty much guess there's a celestial wizard running around. I'll go after the weaker one's. Why don't you two concentrate on the stronger Knghts?"
She asked aloud before looking behind he and frowning, placing her hands on her hips impatiently.

'Kuro, Stop lazing around and get over here. I need you to transform, time to fight, not nap'
Her words never left her lips, instead, she had turned to speak to a small black cat that was lazing around in the shadows. The cat meowed a complaint before lazily standing up, stretching his black paws and twin tails before running towards Nakiya, growing larger and larger with every step until he was as big as a house. Nakiya leaped up from her spot and jumped up onto Kuro's back, the pair not stopping as they ran due east, towards the weaker knights that were approaching them rather slowly.

As she got close, she telepathically (thanks to Kuro) ordered Leo to attack the opposing team with a Regulus blast, while she began to cast a dark shadow over the knights, watching as the darkness corrupted their minds, and slowly they began to fight amongst themselves.

combat stats:

"Alternatively they're trying to use the weaker ones to lure us into a trap for them to corral and strike." counter-suggested Za'cha for the course of action that the six mages were undertaking. He felt a little miffed that he hadn't taken them out but these things tended to happen. He regarded Nakiya for a moment. "Sure you can handle them? Four against one... not counting Leo cus like you said, Celestial Summoner. They'll go for your arse first." said the Ex-Quip mage before shrugging and looking at the masked mage.

"I'll take one, you take the other. Once either of us takes out our mage, we head back to reinforce Nakiya, assuming she hasn't already taken them out before then." he suggested, not really waiting for a reply before he took to the skies towards his target. He frowned as he landed though... looking at an empty street. Completely empty. No people, no mages, not even a rat scurrying around. "The hell?" he asked, Pride frowning. "Sense your foe you mortal idiot." he scowled, Za'cha muttering under his breath before he started to properly cast his gaze around.

"Where are you... there!" he yelled, striking out with his Hidden Saber, grinning as it connected with something in the mid-air. The air around him shimmered before revealing the hidden Rune Knight mage, using their own weapon to block his. "Well well well... illusions eh? This should be fun~" Za'cha cooed, his voice echoing through his armour before he began to press his assault.

Stats:

Kuro stared at the cat, annoyed at it for some unknown reason. "Fine." He suppressed the urge to roll his eyes. If it was a trap, the higher class mages would have been behind the weaker ones. An alternative would have been if they sent out a singular high class mage, and use the other to trap them between the two. Besides, planning a trap wouldve taken time, and it had not even been five minutes since this started. While he could come up with those plans in seconds, these were Rune Knights, the fodder who couldnt contain a minor demon without relying on a false guild, like Fairy Tail. At least, that was his opinion. To be fair to the knights, they had captured a few people when they let their guards down, but that was about it. "Dont you dare die on me." He whispered quietly.

Kuro's eye twitched when Za'cha ordered him. He took a breath and calmed himself. Why people thought he would be ordered around as if he was some newbie was beyond him, but it angered him nonetheless. He allowed select few people to give him orders, and even then he followed them at his own discretion. Kuro glanced towards where the knight that Za'cha was fighting was. Logic dictated that the other mage would be in a similar location, if we used the distance and location, before applying them to Kuro, likely in the opposite way. Taking that piece of logic and noting Kebun agreed with him, he charged forward, at his maximum speed, which was insane for most people. Given that he was a physical fighter, though, was not too surprising. His magic was mostly used to either enhance his physicality or to enable him to get in close. 

The mage did not seem to move, but with Kenbun, he noted the mage had moved far enough away to dodge his attack, which meant he was not seeing what was real. He trusted Kenbun far more than he did his eyes, after all. 'An illusion... Shit.' He grumbled to himself. When he finally reached the Knight, he decided to preform a downward stab. The illusion fell the instant his blade came in contact with it, though the Knight was still invisible. What the knight did not know was that Kuro could still sense him. Using a bit of acrobatics, Kuro jumped slightly, using his momentum to turn him 270 degrees, kicking out at the mage with a Rankyaku. Unfortunately, the mage managed to block it from removing his head by blocking with his surprisingly armored wrists. Even worse, his wrists were only slightly damaged rather than removed. Sad, but Kuro could make due. The mage now figured that he used wind magic, which was partially true, but mostly false. "Let's go" Kuro grinned.

Nakiya never responded to their concerns for her safety beyond a wave of her hand before her and Kuro had disappeared to engage the enemies. She wouldn’t need anyone else other than Leo and Kuro… well, at least she didn’t think so. As the darkness settled over her enemies, blasts of fire were shot into the sky, sudden towers of earth rose to block them while blades of water cut through those same towers and powerful winds knocked all of the knights off balance, and pushed away the dark mist at the same time, freeing  their minds of the spell cast by the dark celestial spirit mage. Nakiya cursed lowly before drawing her Celestial sword. She didn’t ignite it right away,  instead, with a telepathic cue from Kuro, she waited until the cat demon braced itself and fired off his Celestial Beam. A large ball of golden magical energy formed within his mouth before being fired in the midst of the Rune Knights, only catching the earth mage as the other three were able to dodge.
 
Leo quickly leaped into action, running towards the fire mage and launching another Regulus blast as him, only to have the spell explode in his face as the fire mage launched a torrential fire to counter it. Again and again the wizard and the Celestial spirit exchanged spells, striking at one another but always coming to a draw.
 
While on Kuro’s back, Nakiya ran towards the flying wind mage, finally extending her Celestial blade to great lengths to strike at the man again and again while Kuro kept them moving to avoid both water, and earthen attacks.
 
Okay… so maybe she would need more than just Leo…
 
“Canes Venatici, come to my side immediately and take care of the pests on the gorund!”
Nakiya ordered, withdrawing the key of the twin hunting dogs. A dark green magic circle appared to her side, and in a few moments, two large, rotting, stinky hunting dogs leaped out and landed on the ground next to Kuro, snarling at their enemies before immediately running towards the mages, aiming to use their pure strength to keep them distracted and off balance.

Za'cha smirked beneath his helmet as the mage's eyes lit with dread before they seemed to appear in multiple places at once. "That won't work moron, I'm still-" he began to say before his blade slipped through the mage as if he was air. "Shit." he cursed as his eyes began to peer at each of the duplicates. "Not good... can't tell which is which, bastard's split his mana evenly..." Za'cha muttered to Pride. "Then we need to strike at them all to find the real one..." said Pride, the Ex-Quip mage nodding in agreement. "Martyrblade." he invoked, casting aside Hidden Saber in a burst of dark smoke that made the illusions all flinch. Well, give him credit, the damn things react well. he thought as the scythe took form in his grasp.

With both Darkwarp and Martyrblade out in combination, a pale blue aura enveloped him. "Quick question." said Za'cha aloud, addressing the mage. "How fast are you?" he asked, not waiting for a reply before he suddenly swung the scythe through the air as he spun on the spot, grinning beneath his helm as his blade connected with reality. Once his blade had found the mage, his fist soon followed into the man's skull before a sharp twist of his wrists brought the blade through them. The Ex-Quip mage looked at the illusion mage who seemed to simply stare back at him in a mixture of shock and pain. "Not fast enough it seems." the armoured mage said before letting the corpse collapse to the floor.

Stats:

Kuro stared at the illusion mage for a moment, recognizing the build up of magic. What was the diminutive little shit doing now? Oh... Oh dear god no. The fucker had INVERTED his senses. Up was down, left was right, and worse, everything was inverted in terms of all senses... except one. As it turns out, inverting his senses only took effect for his physical senses, and probably a basic magic sensory as well. However, Kuro's sensory was not based on magic, even if it detected it. It was based on electricity. That did not help his vertigo, since he felt like down was now up, and his equilibrium was utterly fucked up. Thankfully, so long as his feet were on the ground, he could keep his balance. He had done something similar before. "Oh just go ahead and die then!" He pointed at the illusion mage, ignoring each sense he had other than his Kenbun. This was not time to get distracted. Oh god, the mage spoke. If he though seeing inverted was bad, hearing inverted was just ridiculous. He couldnt decipher what the bastard said for the life of him. He didnt have to, seeing as his finger lit up with a small ball of lightning, no bigger than a ping pong ball, before a bolt of lightning shot out at the mage before him, connecting with his throat. Now, most attacks would not do much damage, compared to Execution. In fact, if it had hit the mage anywhere else, he would be knocked out, rather than dead. 

The sheer physical force exerted from Execution shredded the poor man's throat, leaving a gaping hole where his adam's apple used to be. The hole lacked a spine, though it was hard to tell through all the blood. That magic around Kuro faded and his senses returned to normal. "Damn, that was just ridiculous..." Execution was a physical exertion of lightning, which used kinetic force instead of electricity. It was powerful, and when confronted with soft tissue such as the throat? It tore right through. Kuro was glad that he did not get any blood on him, as he was not wearing his normal armor, and cleaning blood from casual clothes was hard. Kuro turned to focus on his allies. Za'cha had just finished his opponent, right as Kuro did. Odd... Nakiya, on the other hand, had yet to finish all those mages. Still, it was impressive enough being outnumbered and still able to keep up as easily as she did. 

He clapped, walking calmly towards Nakiya, in the same fashion as most villains in some obscure shows. "I have to admit, I am impressed. Hurry and finish them though, we still have to deal with that bastard we were supposed to kill in the first place." Kuro tried to say it kindly, but frankly he was horrible at showing the proper emotion, so it came out like he was a bit bored, which was also true. Kuro frowned as he realized he was getting a bit hungry. He glanced at the mage he had killed, who, now that he could see him, seemed to be more blubber than man. "Oh hell no" He glared at the remains. "No chance in hell I am eating that."

"Oooohohoho shut the hell up I got this!"
Nakiya called back to Kuro, a crooked smile suddenly apparent on her face. She couldn't help the laugh that escaped her lips as she extended her celestial blade and leaped off of the demon cat Kuro's back, landing on the ground for only a split second before she darted forward towards the Water mage.

"Leo! With me!"
She yelled out to the Lion spirit who leaped away from the fire mage, turning and running towards Nakiya, a sinister look in his own eyes as a dark aura began to dance around his body. The water mage panicked as he was suddenly faced with both Nakiya and Leo. He launched a water whip at Nakiya, aiming to strike her to the left to knock her into Leo, however, the red headed spirit mage brought up her sword and cleanly slashed through the whip, keeping it ahead of her as she continued to run, directly through the water.

Being much faster than his slowed master, Leo ran right up to the water wizard and kicked him so hard in the back, you heard a sickening crunch. Meanwhile, from ahead, Nakiya's sword pierced through the wizards hand, and continued until it pierced through his chest too, pinning his hand to himself. She twisted the blade and used the momentum to slip behind him just as a large blast of fire crashed against the water wizard, exploding into large flames and burning his comrades remains. She put her foot against the body, kicking it off of her blade before smirking at the fire mage.

"You've got bigger problems."
With that, the fire and earth mages screams filled the air as the two dogs soon found their prey. Gamma having latched onto the fire wizards throat while Delta held the earth mage pinned to the ground his his head in his poisonous jaw.

The only one left standing, or flying rather, was the wind mage. And even that didn't take long once Kuro leaped up and used his massive paw to swipe the mage down into the ground, causing a large crater to appear where he landed.

Za'cha rolled his shoulders as he watched Nakiya with her demon cat, and dark celestial spirit take out the elemental magi. "Looks like you have been practicing Princess. Pretty damn impressive." he said with a slow clap as he surveyed the damage they had all wrought with their combined might. "I still call dibs on the Requip mage though whenever the bastard eventually turns up." he said, grimacing slightly as Pride mentally flicked him. "We have other concerns to worry about." said the Dark Spirit.

"Like what?" Za'cha asked, growling as he rubbed his head a little. "The fact that we have slaughtered at least twenty six of the Rune Knights own in a single afternoon. That is certain to reach their ears, and make us far more of a target than before in their sights." The Ex-Quip mage frowned for a moment at Pride's words before shrugging with a sigh.

"Can't be helped I guess... besides, if this is the best they can send for this Major person's retinue? I'm not actually that worried about the rest of the Knights." he said before looking over Nakiya's shoulder into the rest of the village proper, as something moving within had caught his attention. "Although..." he said, readying Martyrblade for another fight even as Darkwarp Raiment faded from sight, rendering him armourless.

'Monster Dice' :

Kuro stared at Za'acha. Was this guy a bad luck charm or a good luck charm? On the downside, more enemies. On the bright side, more enemies! Either way, Kuro was getting impatient. "Fuck this, I will take care of these two." Indeed, the moment they came within the range of his Kenbun, he knew exactly where they were. "You just help her, and set up a trap or something. Ive some left over aggression to take out." Kuro seemed to grow an aura of pure sadistic pleasure, targeted at the two hidden mages. "Pathetic, they can only hide." His sight immediately changed, a burning village replacing the scenery. "You..." Kuro's rage seemed to boil over, though his voice was nothing but apathy. "How." Running towards the first mage, he quickly used Frictus. Ice grew on the bottom of his shoes, reducing friction to almost nothing. He stopped running and simply slid towards the man, stabbing the ground and pushing off while also taking his swords along as if he were merely skiing. Even so, the sheer speed he had gained would, to most people, make him seem like a blur.

The illusion mage, as his magic barely required that he move, was not even close to fast enough to get away. Kuro was a rocket, speeding right along the illusion mage, until he stabbed the ground, and used it to turn his momentum a solid 180 degrees, holding out his blade equal to the mage's neck. If they wanted to try and play dirty, that was fine by him. Turning towards his allies for a brief moment, Kuro was glad to sense they were alright. For now, however, all he could see was the remnants of his home, just like the day he left. A sad scene, but they tried to manipulate the wrong man's emotions. Kuro was always in control of his emotions, pulling something as cheap as a memory illusion was simply pathetic. It angered him, but that, he wanted. Now he just waited for a brief second, before the sword connected with the mage's little neck.

"What do you think I waste my days away doing nothing?"
Nakiya asked of Za'chas compliment rather impatiently. She grimaced as a blade of air struck her in the chest, tearing at her clothes as blood spurt forward from the wound. She grit her teeth and simply glared at the mage in the air.

"That's it you're really pissing me off!"
She cried out at them, and as if on cure, loud, blood chilling howls could be heard from almost everywhere int he town, as if there was a sudden pack of wolves present in the vacinity. However, even though they could not see the creatures, Nakiya had encountered them once before in her training...

They were invisible beasts that seemed to follow every member of savage skull around. She wasn't sure what they looked like, as even she had never seen them, however, they were there just when they were needed.

The fire mage, still under the viscious attack from her hunting dogs shuddered, his eyes growing wide as he cried out in an attempt to get away from the two creatures on him, before the rest arrived. Meanwhile, even the air mage began trembling at the sound of the howls, cursing at Nakiya before declaring how he was not scared. When he threw another blade of air into her chest however, it did not deal as much damage as he had intended it too, and Nakiya laughed cruelly.

"All of you, finish them off!!"
Kuro suddenly dug his fangs into the earth mages head, Gamma tore the fire wizards throat apart while Leo launched another regulus blast at the wind mage. This mage however, managed to avoid the attack, only to be suddenly pushed roughly onto the ground by an invisible force. Bite marks began appearing all over the wind mages body as his limbs began to move, being tugged at in every direction as more blood began to spout forth. In no time at all, the wind mage was literally torn apart limb by limb by the invisible creatures.

"Leo, Gamma and Delta... return..."
She said, glosing their gates and taking a large breath of air, steadying herself on the side of the building as sh panted lightly, trying to calm down from the fight.

Za'cha watched as the masked mage seemed to stumble slightly at the start of his charge. "Wonder what they're showing him..." he mused aloud before shrugging and regarding Nakiya before hearing the terrible howls. He couldn't see them, but Pride could given his Spiritual sight. "It's interesting... beasts born of the darkness, bound to the will of your Marks. They resemble massive wolves if you're interested." remarked Pride as he watched them literally tear the Rune Knights apart. The sight of their sheer ferocity seemed to almost please the Dark Celestial Spirit of Sin.

"Great... now I've got that image running around in my skull... how big?" the human found himself asking. "About your size." said the Spirit, causing Za'cha to splutter slightly. "Our size?! Seriously? Well..." he said as he looked on at the carnage once more. "Glad they're on our side then..." he muttered before he shuddered. Za'cha then looked back over to Nakiya, dismissed Martyrblade and went over to her. "Feeling alright there Princess?" he asked before sharply looking in the opposite direction of the masked mage dealing with his pair. "More company... hope its the bloody captain this time, getting tired of the fodder." Za'cha growled as he prepared to summon another weapon.

'Monster Dice' :

The man's head flew from his shoulders, the diagonal blade pushing the head upward, leaving the ugliest part of the man separated from his body. Kuro did not take a chance to stop, instead he kicked the head towards the other illusion mage, who was far too frightened for his friend's life to do anything anyway. The man caught the head, and let out a shrill screech, not unlike eagles when finding a mate. Kuro was next to him in an instant, sliding his sword into the man's gut, from behind. "Shame" The emotionless voice Kuro spoke that single word in was far more terrifying than before. It was as if the man's anger was a river, but this emotionless void was like a dam, holding back the river until the right moment, where it decided to break and use the kinetic force of the river to utterly destroy that which was in front of him.

In the next moment, the illusion man knew pain better than any other. He screamed, and a loud sound, akin to bacon frying, was roaring constantly. The man began to turn red, with the area around the sword turning black. His organs were liquefying and boiling when they touched the sword with which Kuro had channeled his spell. The man's eyeballs popped out of his head, causing him to scream more. As the final act, all the hair and clothing on the man's body caught fire. The man was dead in a minute. Kuro slid his sword out of the man, before sniffing the air. "Mh... that smells like bacon. I wonder..." He had always eaten his meat only slightly cooked, or sometimes raw, but a cooked human had potential... Kuro sliced the corpse's arm off, before it hit the ground, and caught it in mid air. The sheer heat he had generated had killed any bacteria that would be present otherwise. While normally high temperatures would increase bacteria, the heat from the man's body was still intense, and electricity had a funny effect of killing bacteria without trouble, the heat only added to the slaughter. Kuro took a bite out of the bicep. "Hot, hot hot!" He breathed for a moment, cooling the meat down. "Huh... what do you know, it actually DOES taste like bacon."

Turning towards Nakiya and Za'acha, Kuro grinned. "You guys ought to try this! It tastes just like bacon!" He walked towards them, only to get distracted when he noticed the enemies closing in. "Oh for fucks sake, where is that damn captain..." He did not shout it, because if they knew they were after the captain, they would not send him... at least if they had a brain they wouldnt, but these WERE Rune Knights. Kuro made a derisive sound, before throwing his blade at the rune knights. They dodged, easily, but that was not the point. His sword had already collected an electromagnetic field, albeit a weak one, from his Shame, now he was simply using his Fuwa ability. Fuwa worked similar to most electromagnets, but with magic as the fuel. As such, his sword, the metal which curved to form a dangerous blade, was a prime tool for this. The sword spun through the first few Rune Knights easily enough, but the rest had figured out the range he had with it, keeping fifteen meters away. He recalled the blade to his hand, but before he caught it, one of the Rune Knights had thrown a javelin at his arm. His sword would not be fast enough to deflect the spear, nor would he be able to fully dodge it. The javelin smashed into his arm, thankfully not being accurate enough to remove said limb. Unfortunately, while the javelin was dull enough to not pierce his skin, which made him wonder who cared so little for their weapon, it was thrown with enough force to break his arm, which it did. The sound of his bone snapping made the entire world seem quiet for a brief moment, before Kuro shouted. "WHO THE FUCK THREW THAT?!" Looks like the dam broke. He was so angry and in pain he did not even question how it was he had taken down three B rank mages with no damage, yet a mere Rune Knight had broken his arm. He knew simply that it was luck on both cases. The mages had been illusion mages up against a very physical fighter who was pretty much immune to psychological damage, while the Rune Knight who threw that spear had taken the chance while Kuro did not have his sword to deflect, and while he was concentrating.

Taking one last deep breath, Nakiya pushed herself from the wall whenever Za'cha approached and nodded when he asked her if she was alright. Of course she was fine, she had just needed to catch her breath after almost using up half her magic supply so fast.

"I'm fine... and no thanks Kuro, I prefer to catch my own prey that has... a little extra magical power then that..."
She stated while sticking out her tongue at the offered arm. Not that the arm itself was disgusting, in fact it might actually taste deliciously like bacon... but if they took down the knight captain... THEN she might have her fill... she was getting hungry after all.

She took hold of her keys once more, preparing to summon Vulpeca whenever she heard the straight SNAP of Kuro's arm, wincing as he suddenly yelled at the gathered Rune Knights.

"I suggest... we leave this to him... no need to get caught in the cross fire..."
She stated casually as she could feel the Garm suddenly leave their immediate vicinity and start to attack the gathered nearby Rune Knights. With the three savage skull members here, that indicated that there would also be 30 Garm there at their disposal. It was easy to see how many there were, as the Rune Knights began falling a dozen at a time, the 20 or so Knights gathered around them know, and those that remained from her earlier fight with the proper Knight Mages. Blood began to fly as limb after limb was torn from the Knights bodies, as their corpses slowly disappeared into nothing as they were eaten, leaving only a few for Kuro to vent his rage out on.

"Eh... no thanks... I don't eat people. Gives me indigestion." he said, grimacing slightly as he was offered the hunk of arm. He regarded the coming people, counting their numbers before he spotted they were armed. The Ex-quip mage groaned as it turned out to be more Rune Knights. True they were for one of their number but not this damned many. "How many guys did this bloody bastard bring with him eh?" he inquired before charging towards the group, even as they were getting torn apart by the invisible Garm. "Haematoclarent, Camlann Array." he invoked, the Anti-Demon Slayer combination set taking form around him as he barelled into a Fire Mage.

"You'll do." he smirked before he swung his sword into them, their fire thrashing against the armour's innate barriers before finding their legs and mid torso seperated from the rest of their body. He turned in time to parry a blade from one of the living Rune Knights, grinning beneath his helm. "You'll make for some pra-" he began to say before a Garm snatched his kill. "Oi! That was mine you bastard!" he yelled, blinking as he heard snarling back at him. "...Never mind then." he said.
