Kick Punch Block!

Mission Info:

Clover town. Daiko walks on the path to the railways, looking around. The trains seemed to be running fine, but there was no way out of this hellhole unless he unblocked the train. Sighing, Daiko steps on the railroad, taking a deep drag out from his pipe. He had been doing a lot of missions recently, mostly just so he could do more difficult ones. This mission was supposedly harder than the ones he was used to, but he was sure he could take a few goblins. Now all he had to do was sit, and wait for the partner he had been assigned to in his guild.

"Clyde, huh..." Daiko flipped the paper over, revealing there to be no back. "I friggen love this dorky guy..." He expected a giant man, with some sort of hammer for a hand. Hopefully that's not what he looked like. Taking out his pipe, Daiko decides to smoke for a bit, calming his nerves before he did this battle. It wasn't too hard to fight, but Daiko was concerned whether or not he would be any use to this other magician. He wanted nothing less than to be dead weight to a stronger magician, especially one in his guild...

Clyde raced out of his "house." It wasn't much of a home, but it had a fire place and a door so what they hey?
"So Daiko wanted me for job, I must not be late then." Clyde grappled from the buildings, and people watched from below as if he was an alien.
"Maybe I should conserve my string. You never know how hard a mission can be." Clyde lowered himself down my making more string, then retracted back into his body. He fixed his scarf and dodged and weaved through the town until he got to a small shop. Here he stops to catch his breath, and looks in the window.
"Oh, A coffee shop, I think I have a bit of spare change." Clyde walks into the coffee shop that seemed packed, and went straight to the counter.
"Hello, Could I get a danish and a cigar please?" Clyde wasn't one to smoke, but he decided it would be a nice gesture. The clerk bags his stuff, and he makes a run for it out of the store.
"Hope, I am not too late." Clyde runs for awhile until he finally reaches his friend Daiko.
"Hey I got you a cigar!" Clyde said both exhausted and excited. He reaches over all sweaty to give Daiko a rather cheap cigar.
"So, what was the job again?"

Daiko looked down at the cigar, and noticed at first glance that it was cheap. "Thanks bud." He slipped it in his pocket, along side his regular pipe. "Maybe I'll use this when we kick those monster's asses." Daiko stands up, holding the paper out for Clyde to see. "Notice here, we have to clear a blockade from a Vulcan and a Goblin. I never liked them myself, they all seem like a bunch of pushovers. What we need to do is work together to kill one, kill the other, and then we need to get this damn tree out of the way." 

Daiko points to where the felled tree was, blocking the path to freedom... The path out of Blue Pegasus's gates. If it hasn't been made abundantly clear, Daiko, Clyde, and just about everybody hates Blue Pegasus. They are stuck up, and just... Annoying. Daiko takes a drag from the cigar Clyde gave him, and breathed it in. Even though cigars aren't meant to be smoked that way, Daiko didn't care. He was made of smoke god dammit. He does what he wants. Just then, he heard a rustling in the bushes. Perhaps it was one of the two critters they were looking for?

'Monster Dice' :

"Agreed, Are they.... dangerous?" Clyde knows showing weakness was bad, but how strong could these creatures be? Clyde watches Daiko smoke his cigar in a very odd way, then he hears the bushes rustle and quickly turns to the bushes horrified.
"Daiko, uh, Is that one of our targets?" Clyde suddenly noticed the way he was acting, and remembered he has to be strong if he ever wants to kill that horrid fairy tail guild. He clenches his fist and glares as a goblin makes it's way out of the bushes.
"I will kill it." Clyde said that, and felt like a badass. He walks towards the bushes, and the goblin jumps out to him. The goblin gets a solid kick to Clyde's stomach.
"Pesky little piece of shit." Clyde quickly made a bunch of string around his wrist that then wrapped around his hand. The string then formed a blade of a sword. He then made the belt of the chainsaw out of strings, and made them start spinning very quickly.
"Your going down! Timber!" Clyde yelled this. He swung his chainsaw arm at the neck of the goblin as the goblin readied more kicks and punches. Clyde started noticing the challenges he will face in other battles as he swung his chainsaw sword. He felt both excited and sad.

'Block Dice' :

Daiko overhears Clyde talking to himself, and sighs... He then sees Clyde wrap string around his hand, creating some sort of chainsaw mechanism. This chainsaw was flung at the goblin, who simply deflected it away with nothing more than a prayer and an odd shaped stick. "Nice job, Twinkle Toes." Daiko laughs as he smokes some more of the cigar. It wasn't that bad after it polluted his body... But hey, Clyde bought it so it has to be good... 'If that's what he buys to smoke, no wonder he never does it...' Daiko shakes his head, pushing the negative thoughts out of his mind, and focuses on battle.

Daiko looks at Clyde's perfect chainsaw blocked, and sighs. It was like him to lose to a simple goblin... Taking a long drag from the cigar, Daiko puffs his cheeks out, shooting a bullet of smoke directly at the goblin's face. This bullet would hit the goblin in the face, blinding it, and sending it smashing into the tree trunk. The goblin would suffer from the push even if it blocked it, along with burns and bruises if it was hit. "Why don't you take a nice, long suck of this you bitch" Daiko says, after the bullet is close to making it's mark.

'Block Dice' :

Clyde stared angrily as the little bitch blocked yet another attack. The little runt hit the tree from Daiko's attack, and now it was time for it to die. Clyde quickly wrapped elastic strings around the tree that quickly clenched around the goblin leaving it helpless. Clyde quickly spun it's chainsaw arm up, and slashed hard towards the goblins neck as the goblin started to struggle. Clyde quickly hit his chainsaw into the neck of the goblin hearing it shriek. This reminded him of those horrid screams he had heard that one night as a child. The thoughts erupted into his head. He could almost feel the cold air and the scarf blowing in the wind. He remembers the fairy tail mark on those guys burned into his mind.

What if those guys never came? Would he ever have been in this situation? Would he had ever learned string magic and become a ribbon dancer? Clyde pondered all these thoughts in his mind while swinging for the death blow. If the goblin did somehow block it, the force would be like a punch. This goblin really did annoy Clyde. He imagined the blood all over his body from that annoying goblin, and almost lost it for a few seconds. Now is not the time to thirst for blood he thought to himself.

'Block Dice' :

Daiko watches as Clyde rips through the goblin. "Finally." He laughed, admiring Clyde's handiwork. If only he was this good at picking out cigars... Daiko tossed it aside, pretending like it ran out and switching back to his bowl. Taking a long drag of the smooth smoke, he lets out a cloud of milky white smoke which flew above the trees and up in the sky to join the clouds. "Nice job, Clyde. You didn't have to use your pink whips of satanism." Daiko nodded, cracking his neck. "I wonder if I there will be any more monsters to fight..."

Just then, Daiko heard another rustle. Not another fucking monster. This was the last time Daiko ever wanted to see a damn goblin again, or hell, this is the last time he would be in Clover Town. If it wasn't for the damn Guildhall of Savage Skull to be here, he'd probably be having more one night stands with rabbit people again. I mean, who knows. You start out with a bottle of whiskey, then you wake up with a rabbit next to you, while you and her both remain naked. But you know. This is the life. Daiko takes a deep drag from his pipe, and lets it all out of his nose...

Clyde let his victory get to his head, and stared back at Daiko with a happy smile.
"Now that that is out of the way!" He lifts his arms as a sign of conquering it when a big green monster jumped from the forest, and punched Clyde hard in the back of the head. Clyde slammed into the ground ahead, as his head started pounding with a bad headache.
"WHAT THE HELL?!" Clyde quickly jumped to his feet to see the vulcan standing there. Clyde cracks his neck, and spins his chainsaw more.
"Well someone has a death wish. Judging by his punch he seems to be stronger then the goblin." Clyde quickly comes up with his next move as the vulcan jumps for another attack. Time to show Daiko my true potential. Clyde thought this to himself, and smiled.
"Now it's time you see the power of my ribbon dancing!" Clyde readied his full assault with a angrily look.
Clyde snapped his fingers releasing a tiny bit of string that burrowed into the ground. It would be unseen by most, because Clyde did it in the shade of a tree. As the Vulcan came in for a punch in the stomach like a dirty bitch, Clyde went for a chainsaw attack to the stomach of of the vulcan. He would then jump away if it hit, and snap both fingers to release the barbed wire under ground to catch the vulcan.

'Block Dice' :

Daiko watches as Clyde launches his attack, but then he gets an idea of his own. Stuffing more weed into his pipe, he lights it and fills his lungs with pure smoke. Breathing all of it in, his eyes turn pink, and he starts emitting smoke from every part of his body. He jumps in the air, doing a back flip, then plants his feet on a tree and launches himself, the mixture of his 15 m/s flying and the propulsion from a tree send him flying at top speed toward the Vulcan. Daiko pulls out his pipe, and holds it towards the giant monkey's face.

If the attack hit, the giant ape would get it's face smashed in, and a concussion. If that didn't defeat it, Daiko would rebound off from another tree to smash it in the back of the head. Once these attacks hit, Daiko would finish the job by flying into the sky, then smashing into the creatures throat, killing it for good. "All right you dirty piece of shit... Here's an attack you're not coming back from!" Daiko looks like a smoke being, shot like a bullet from a cannon filled with smoke. It was go time.

Clyde stared in wonder as Daiko handled that beast perfectly. Clyde calls off Bloom of The Returned, and watches Daiko as if he was a monster.
"How did you do that?" Clyde said with eyes widen and mouth wide open. Clyde suddenly felt as if he was weaker then Daiko. This is made him want to train harder then ever before.
"Daiko, You did amazing! I have never seen a wizard my rank do so well." Clyde cracked his knuckles, and remembered the task at hand.
"Lets get rid of this log. I could probably handle it if your magic energy is a little low." Clyde said this trying to calculate how much magic Daiko could have used. It was probably a hefty amount. Clyde ran over to the train tracks and looked at the log.
"Looks kinda easy. My strings might be able to cut it!" Clyde pulled out his ribbon wands and left a bunch of little cut with a barrage of attacks.
"Hmm, Maybe if I had timber I could cut it down!" Clyde tried making magic at his wrist, but it failed.
"Darn it, I can't use it quite yet." Clyde turned to Daiko with a disappointed face.
"Daiko, Can you lend me a hand?"

Daiko, in his current state, didn't really care about what Clyde had to say. He breathed out a giant smoke hand, that took the log and attempted to push it away. "God dammit..." Daiko whispers under his breath, getting pissed. He then decides to do something that may make Clyde never want to talk to him again. Daiko smashes his hand on the ground, and suddenly a black and bloody gate appears before him. He kicks open the door, allowing Four demons outside of the gate. "Help me out with this log..." Daiko commands of them, and they bare their teeth at him.

Together with his giant hand and these demons, they toss the log far off into one of the bottomless pits on the outskirts of Clover Town. Snapping his fingers, Daiko sends the demons back though the portal. The smoke begins to fade from around Daiko, until he is visible, smoking from his pipe. Daiko glances up, looks straight at Clyde, and shrugs. "What's up, Clyde. You ready to turn in the Job?" Daiko begins to walk toward Clyde, and pats him on the shoulder. He starts toward the train master's office, ready to tell them of what great things Clyde and him did.

"Nice job, Daiko." Clyde said once again surprised. He looked back at Daiko and wondered how the hell he got those demons. Does he have power like mine? Is this his negate? Clyde wondered this all confused, and exctied.
"I just did my first job!" Wait till my mom and dad see me now. A tear almost came out as the blast of memories hit harder then the vulcan's punch. Images flashed in his mind, and he remembered all of his childhood in that one moment. A sharp pain from the punch earlier had him doubled over in pain. He felt all of his mental and physical pain in one blast.
"Daiko my head really fucking hurts." Clyde stared at Daiko wondering if his head really had hurt, or if it was just the pain of his past.
Clyde quickly got up with the worst headache ever from the punch he had been ignoring from earlier. Clyde shut his eyes for a few seconds and saw that fairy tail symbol again. The imagine was almost burned in his head now.
"Daiko, Can you help me with something?" Clyde could only think of doing one thing after this mission, and that was revenge.

Daiko looks down at Clyde, who now is talking about how his head hurts. "Yeah, no problem." He lifts Clyde over his shoulder, carrying him. "What's the matter?" Daiko will listen to what he has to say, but for now he's just walking. Each step on the train track makes a clanking sound, the wooden beams in between the tracks lifting up to hit the metal on either side. Pulling out his pipe with his free hand, Daiko takes a drag from it, and slips it back into his pocket. Breathing out slowly, Daiko leaves a trail of smoke behind him, and closes his eyes.

Once they finally arrive, Daiko hands the mission to the train master. "Here you go, those little guys are done." The attendant smiled at him, and he set Clyde down on a bench. "Rest here, I'll be right back." Daiko went to climb a building. He stepped and climbed up the building, and sat down once he made it to the top. He looked at clover town, and just tried to take in all of the scenery at once. With each turning glance, Daiko smiled. Even thought this town was polluted with members of the Blue Pegasus, it was still a place he could relax. Now that he was done with a C-Rank mission, he was wondering what he'd do next.

Clyde walked with Daiko talking to him about how he was feeling. These feeling felt so strange, and yet they demanded his full attention.
"Daiko, I have been meaning to say a few things. I feel we should go over to Fairy Tail, and make them pay. I would love to see them hang from the ceiling of their own guild hall. It would be an honor to make those nooses. My head is really killing me though. The vulcan hit me so hard." Clyde shut his eyes for a few seconds, and saw images appear once again.
"Daiko, do you think that would could kill every last person in Fairy Tail someday?" Clyde decided it was time to calm down. It felt so right though. To think about leaving a guild in shambles and one like Fairy Tail too.
"How did you ever get so strong with that magic, and can you maybe teach me how to use it someday?" Clyde thought about smoking a bunch, then shut the thought out.

Later on, Daiko turned in the mission and laid Clyde on the bench. Clyde took a few pain killers while he was there, and started to calm down.

"Mission complete!"

Daiko smiles at Clyde, just ruffling his hair. "All you need is a bowl and something to smoke..." He went on, laughing to himself. He was basically made of smoke, so the only point of him inhaling it was to make himself stronger, and for pure enjoyment. "I don't think I'm strong enough to take on Fairy Tale, but I'm sure some day our guild will be strong enough to rule over the light guilds..." This set a dark image in Daiko's mind, of Savage Skull crushing the entire world under it's boot. Light Guilds will be the slaves of the Dark Guilds, and they will be the oppressed ones...


Daiko takes another long drag from his pipe, looking up at the sky. He had climbed the building, and stood on the edge. Letting himself fall off, he floated in a random direction, only feeling like sinking when he had to. This was the life of a Dark Guild member... Never truly content with themselves, even when they do get the job done. Even though he'd rather have his guild be allowed to do legal things, Daiko made a promise that he would stick to the guild he was in, and even a promise to help Clyde exterminate Fairy Tale.
