Guard the Secret Deal (Solo)

Job Description: Guard of the Secret Deal:

Kurei walked down in a dark alley way headed towards the black market. He had been briefed about his job of securing a courier alongside two bodyguards by the names of Kent and Rex. "I wonder what these folks look like " he said to himself outloud, looking for the courier and the other guards. "They said she would be easy to spot, she has pretty big horns to make up for her lack of height."  ~chuckling to himself he pulled out a watch, knowing full well that he had arrived at the right place, at the right time. "Where oh where could they be" he pondered to himself, leaning his back against a wall, facing North."

NPC's
Alixia stood right behind this so-called bodyguard and stared at him in disbelief. As this goofy white-haired man spoke ill of her she rammed her horns into his spine and shouted at him as he momentarily lost his balance, "Jerk! What kind of bodyguard are you. I expected them to hire some strong, tall and silent bodyguard. Not some ungrateful mercenary who's just here for the money." ~ As Alixia now faced her offender, she saw his beautiful facial features she looked away embarrassed. "These are my guards" she mumbled, holding her hand out , introducing to her left, "Yo! My name's Kent, what's up ?", and to her right Rex, "Pleasure to meet ya. . .I'm sorry we I forgot your name. It's quite foreign from these lands. Curry was it?"

Kurei fell forward, his knees bent awkwardly as he was struck from behind, his blind spot to be exact. As he turned around his sigh gave way towards a beautifully short woman with long , black ivory horns. She was certainly different, and he did very much like that.
"Why excuse me miss Alixia" he said, preforming a bow alongside his signature smile, fabled for captivating the hearts of woman from all over Fiore. As he raised his head and heard the greetings from his current companions. "My name's Kurei, i'd say it's a pleasure to meet you two gentlemen but you arent exactly gentle if you're here as a bodyguard. Now, I was informed that you know the destination of shipment. Would you please be so kind as to show the way."

NPC's
Alixia blushed with rose colored cheeks, not once had she been a victim of these flirtatious men in Talonia. As she cheerfully nodded to his replies she looked up at her other two body guards who looked very much like brutes without much intelligence. She began walking North East of the market and headed further down a corridor leading us to a turn, headed for a dead end. The only thing that could be seen were bricks. "Are you sure we're headed the right way?" ~exclaimed Rex, clearly losing his temper. Alixia pulled out a key from around her neck telling him "It's over here, we made sure that it would be rather difficult to acquire. We wouldn't want this in the wrong hands." and placed it against a brick. As she recited a incantation the bricks began to shift and turn in all directions. Leaving a opening, shaping into a archway just about 4 feet tall, leading into a warehouse

Kurei followed close behind Alixia, and as she incited the secret incantation Kurei overheard something. It was a little too low for him to understand and clearly not able to make out the words. All he could see behind him was Kent and Rex snickering to themselves in a menacing way. "Allow me, mi'lady" ~ he said towards Alixia just before she had entered. "I'm your bodyguard so it's best if I go in first, in case any bandits make their way out."~ ending his statement with a tap over her shoulder. As he gained contact with her, Kurei he used his power of Psychometrics to gain knowledge of her past. He saw something quite interesting but hoped to keep it towards himself for now. Believing he best be on his toes, Kurei took the first step forward into the newly formed archway and into the warehouse and walking inside completely comfortable in his surroundings.

NPC's
As Rex and Kent noticed that Kurei might've overheard their plans and saw them snicker, their smiles turned into serious face. As Alixia moved between them both for their brawn protection she didn't seem to notice their facial expressions. Upon everyone entering the warehouse, she pointed out what would seem like a treasure chest, covered with a blanket, hidden in a corner. Thereafter she ran up, and uncovered the chest, opening it's contents and making sure it was still secured. She gave the party a thumbs up and just before she began moving Rex and Kent drew their blades.
"Hand over the Lacrima to us" ~Rex demanded

Kurei laughed audibly and stared at Kent with his head tilted ever so slightly to his right. "You do realize that I can't just allow you to walk away with this." Kurei opened and closed his hand into a fist, shaping the very foundation of light into a long sword, his sword of light, Fraeia.
wielding it with both hands Kurei faced Rex and Kent with his sword aimed between them. Kurei was very much ready to engage in fisticuffs. As Kurei was about to launch his assault he instead recited foreign words, very well knowing how foreign it must be to Rex and Kent, but not towards Alixia.

Alixia knew very well those words, she was startled, shocked in awe in how he could've known that incantation. As her thoughts were collecting the archway began to close, the path sealing shut behind them. The warehouse was now inescapable by any means, no one truly noticed how sturdy its walls were until just now. Rex and Kent knew, that their only way out, has now been closed off. "Get the girl" Rex exclaimed, "We'll torture the incantation out of her if we need to. I'll handle this small fry".
Thus Rex began shifting towards Kurei, ready to fight him, engaging with a overhead leaping strike to begin this skirmish.

Kurei took note of both their words and snickered to himself. "Everything is going exactly as planned. You're going to die here. I share no sympathy towards those who would dare hurt a lady. Infact... I don't have very much sympathy at all !" Kurei shouted as feinted a horizontal block, instead spinning dexterously sideways to the left. as Rex landeded and missed his overhead jumping slash. With more than enough time Kurei thrusted his sword into rib cage. He than pulled out his blade by kicking Rex across the face, using the force to release his weapon.

Kent made the run towards Alixia, believing she was just one of those, fair maidens who would simply faint at the first sight of trouble. But his thoughts were proven incorrect by Alixia as she jumped quite high for someone so small, and stepped on his face harshly, digging her high heels into his face before leaping far from him.
As Rex was kicked off towards the side he began to think strategy, holding onto his wounds he realized that the sword was clearly magical. It felt as thought he was attacked by light.
"A Light-based mage, ill give you a taste of mines next" Rex shouted as he gripped his sword tightly and flames began to wrap themselves around the blade.

Kurei took note of what type of wizard he had just begun encountering. "You're still most likely a brute with a rather unsavory type of weapon. All those flames will not save you from what I horrors I am about to inflict upon you. Kurei began twirling his blade, so it may collect light as he walked up towards Rex with a face full of malice intent. Soon after he charged up towards Rex and activated his swords Light-Spark. Shining a bright light into his eyes, most likely blinding him for a full post. Kurei took this to his advantage and snuck right behind Rex, and slashing right behind him, at his Spinal cord and sinking his blade deep enough to ensure so that he may no longer be able to move.

Alixia continued running away from Kent, soon after pausing at the bright light from Kurei's direction. She was petrifyed in fear from what she had seen. A man being stabbed into the ground, with a blade at his back, keeping him from moving.
Kent saw precisely the same, he looked down in disbelief at what had just occurred and spoke with a trembling voice "Rex, pal, you alright?"
Rex responded lowly with a grunt and tried to make himself be heard, but he was unable to move. But this was more than enough to encourage Kent, he came charging at Kurei like a mad man, hacking and slashing in a fiery fury.

Kurei attempted to avoid every single slash to the best of his ability. After placing his sword into someones spine and pinning him to the ground with it, he was left without a sword in which to defend himself. Thus receiving 4 blows in return of.
Thinking to himself quickly Kurei thought "I still have a Light-spark passively, I already expended one with the sword so I best make this count when opportunity allows itself."
Continuing to maneuver round and round , swing after swing Kurei began jumping over and ontop of several boxes. As he was of a more athletic and leaner build than that of Kent he was able to regain his posture atop this big box.

Kent growled angrily at Kurei, taking not that he had no weapon, and believing that he had no way of defending himself, he stepped back towards Rex and picked up his sword. "Fire and Earth" he whispered beside his fallen comrade. He looked back at Kurei more determined than before, assuming a stance of a warrior, ready to engage in a do or die situation, and he felt more than confidant that it would not be him.
Alixia positioned herself, hiding behind a box away from the current two guards of hers. She kept thinking what could she do ? What should she do ? After seeing Kurei get injured and remembering his smile, she knew what she had to do.

Kurei took his moment and thought to himself, it's now or never. If he has turned his back away from me to go ahead and do what ever he believes is right. Than I will take this opportunity to ascend.
"Wings of Life" ~ Kurei muttered, as rays of light shot out of his back, slowly shaping into wings.
As the wings were forming he saw Kent pick up the two swords and speak to himself.
"What could he be doing with those, I know very well that one of them is fire... so what could the other one be. What ever it is, none of it was mentioned by Alixia, it musn't be something extraordinary." ~ Taking his full time to sprout his wings Kurei ended by jumping up and ascending atleast 12 feet off the ground.

As Kent faced Kurei, he saw his newfound wings forming. Once he saw that it was taking a while he used the magic in his Earth blade, striking the ground and creating a landslide towards the box Kurei was under. Unfortunately it seemed Kurei had just happened to have moved at the nick of time.
"Darn you!" he said, muttering something more under his breathe that served little to no meaning other than letting out his emotions. Kent tried standing under Kurei and attempting a jumping slash, but much to his dismay, his muscular brutish build, including the weight from his armor and two swords, didnt allow him to even reach the 10ft mark.
Alixia began slowly creeping up close towards them, attempting to remain unnoticed.

Kurei laughed to himself this time, attempting not to get caught by this fools sword slashes. As Kent landed he found the opening in which he had been looking for. Kurei used his intense speed and closed the 7 ft gap between them in one second. As Kurei got close he used his Light-Bending ability, expending his final Light spark to create the perfect illusion in the cornea of Kents eye.
The illusion was darkness, complete absence of light, only able to see his own body, excluding the swords. During the illusion Kurei continued by drop kicking him hard in the back of the neck at a 45 degree angle while he was completely unsuspecting of it. Hoping to render him unconscious before he would have a chance to respond towards the illusion. As Kurei knew there's a couple details in his power that are great weaknesses.

Rex looked up and was about to strike Kurei with all his might as he came close, he knew that he might get hit due to his speed but would've used his tenacity to continue his strike. But just before the distance was closed. He suddently grew blind, not in the sense of flashing light. More like a mind who has completely lost vision of of everything around it. "I can't see. ." he quivered dropping the blade which he could not see in his hands. As he heard the clunk of the falling blades he got distracted, as his mind had to attempt to assess information without having visuals. During the moment he was caught off-guard. He truly was rendered unconcious, the last he remembers was a severe pain in the back of his neck, which had effectively struck him harshly.

Alixia ran up towards Kurei who had seemed to be the announced victor and held the box with the explosive Lacrima. "It looks like things here are just wrapping up. . Im unsure if I should stay by your side, but seeing as you protected me, I can trust you... for now!" she said pointing a finger at his face.

Kurei stood dumbstruck. "Why would you trust anyone in this god forsaken place. Afterall, I'm just here for the job, Alixia" ~ Kurei patted her head, clearly attempting to provoke her into kicking him out after a job well done.
As Kurei continued talking with Alixia he released the sword, wings and the illusions from the area knowing full well that they could not move at the moment.
Kurei then pulled open a empty box and stuffed their bodies and swords into the box. He saw the label and shipping address in which it was headed: Thunder Island. "Perfect" he laughed to himself as he closed the box, wiping his hands from any dust or dirt.
"Now about my Pay, let my employer know that my work here is finished, and I'll be off to collect it."

Alixia nodded, agreeing that despite his rather rough and underhanded tactics of defeating both Rex and Kent, he was deserving of his reward. After reciting the incantation she opened the path out and they began making their way outside together. She shook her head as he was to protect her all the way back to where the job was issue. Everything went by smoothly after leaving the Black Market.

As they were at the doorstep she said ~"I turn this in and you'll get your reward. Best of luck and it wouldn't at all be a pleasure of working with you again." she said sarcastically towards her last remark. As Kurei accepted it they began to enter to speak with the Employer, informing him of all the details that they had underwent.
