OOC: This thread will involved combat against NPCs of unspecified rank. Do not participate if you do not wish to fight. Do not worry about being a D-Rank as enemies will come in all sizes so members of all ranks can be important.

The evening was still. The sun was slowly setting over Hargeon and Lamia Scale. A crisp warm breeze and the orange color of the sunset made the landscape beautiful and serene. Earlier in the day guild master Zuo Cii had departed from the guild to fulfill a past arrangement. He had told all that he would return shortly after the sun set fully with good news and a surprise for the entire guild. His arrival at the guild was soon but it would become apparent that it was not soon enough. For darkness swept over the sky, the sun had not yet set, rather it had been blotted out. The breeze stopped and the world darkened as an unnatural dome formed over Hargeon, it did not look black rather it looked like a complete absence of anything. No light could pierce it, the winds died unable to reach the town and efforts to break the dome in anyway would be futile as it would seem most invincible. In panic citizens fled from their homes as a din started to brew over the town. Shrouded by the chaos and darkness a band of three figures cloaked in black darted through the streets heading towards the center of the great port town. Slowly lacrima street lights would flicker to life and police would take the streets in an attempt to restore order but unaware of the real danger their efforts would soon prove in vain. For the hooded figures seemed of little consequence at the moment to the panicking masses compared to the ominous darkness hanging over their heads. Already some mages of Lamia Scale had set out from the white cathedral of the guild hall in an attempt to help address the problem in their own ways. These mages would soon regret their decision as to their dismay after only a couple minutes of the great dome appearing it vanished as quickly as it appeared.

For only a moment did the people think they were safe as they all fell silent until a single fearful cry rang out across the town "The guild hall!" In that moment every pair of eyes in the city turned to the great building of marble at the center of Hargeon and countless hearts sank as they realized the crisis was not over. For the stark white symbol of peace was now hidden from sight trapped in a much smaller personal dome of darkness. The mages who had left desperately attempted to attack the dome with their magic, trying to break back in to their home but it was for naught. The dome was unbreakable, no one could get in no one could get out. Lamia Scale was trapped, cut off from the world, and in grave danger. For the hooded figures had now infiltrated and were preparing to reveal their malicious presence.

-The dome cannot be dented by anything short of S-Rank magic. Even an S-Rank will have to make an impressive effort to break it.
-Travel or communication through the dome is impossible
-Remember NPCs(for this event) are people too, standard PVP rules and conduct apply to any fights in this thread. As I am controlling all enemies.
-Do try to enjoy the danger

Kihia had been in the Ikarones's hanger when he heard an disturbance from outside, he quickly dropped his tools and looked at Ukan, "What in the world is going on out there...?" Ukan stood up, currently knee high compared to Kihia he let out a hopeful comment, "Perhaps just members being crazy?" Kihia frowned he had a bad feeling, instinctively he closed his eyes and focused on his hearing. For a moment he heard nothing out of the usual, but then after a minute he heard someone yell out that a dome of darkness had covered the city. Kihia's eyes shot open as he dashed forward grabbing Icarus that had been leaning against the wall of the hanger.

Kihia dashed up the flight of stairs, stopping by his room for a second and kicking his window open to have a sight of what was going on. Indeed something darker than night itself had covered the city. He quickly went to his armor cabinet and started to throw on his Ikaro Armor set. Ukan then busted through his door in a panic, "Kihia! Things just got worse!" Kihia just got his chest plate on and his eyes widened, "What do you mean?" Ukan growled "The entire Guildhall is now surrounded..." Kihia's eyes widned even more he finished getting gear and ran out of his room with Ukan on his tail, "I will not let harm come to this Guild!"

Verona was in her room treating herself to some candies when her enhnaced sense for hearing picked something up. “A scream? The guildhall is what?” she asked herself with a tilt of her head. Her eyes went wide and her mouth formed an O when she figured out the scream was from very near and that what they have been yelling is true. She looked out of her window to confirm it and rushed towards her closet to quickly throw an outfit together. She gathered her hair and put it up in a ponytail while she ran out of her messy room.

As she left her place and ran down to where she heard the scream from, she noticed Kihia rushing past her. Hey eyes followed him till he disappeared and she decided she should follow him to get the complete information. He rushed towards where the men were staying though and Verona being Verona didn’t even think before she followed him to his room. She reached there just in time for her to hear the small little ice breather she loathed telling Kihia something about the guild being surrounded. She frowned when Kihia ran out his room without noticing her but she wasn’t frowning because of it. It made her wonder if the people to surrounded the area was them. Hopefully, she is wrong.

“Wait for me, Kihia,” Verona yelled out, snapping out of her thoughts and now running after the ice-mage.

Up on the higher floors of the guild hall, Xavier toiled away hard at work practicing his artful skills and most importantly his new and present style of choice of mimicking a comet. Being a lightning mage instead of something actually related to stars and the like it was a like challenging for him, but fun to invent new ways to strike. He had a pit of water just beneath him while he was high up on a platform aiming for a target forty feet away, and he would get drenched should he miss. He ran up to take on the challenge for the fifth time after toweling off, when he heard someone scream throwing off his concentration. He tripped over the edge and fell like a rock into the water. Surfacing he coughed u his organs in a fit of discomfort, and climbed out of the water in haste. Primarily because he was worried about whatever just happened but also because he was a little upset with himself.

Xavier left behind his shirt, only in drenched pants and threw his jacket over his shoulders frantically descending the stairs, which he may or may not have tripped on a number of times. He arrived just in time to be amidst the mass hysteria at the entrance to the guild, which was cut off from the world shortly after the stairs by some sort of darkness. “Great. This’ll be a fun day…”

    "Hmmmm Hhhmmmmm Hmmmm MMmmmm."
Lyra hummed to herself a snazzy little tune as she laid in her bathtub, with a book in her hand, and candles lit all around her. She had just gotten back from being outside and felt a bit dirty after all that. The sun was setting and all felt fantastic as she delved and enjoyed a bit of relaxation.
Lyra was just about to wash her hair when she heard a bit of scuffling around in the rooms above. Then suddenly it got dark. Like way dark.... Lyra screamed and stumbled out of the bathtub. Her hair soaked and dripping on the back of her calves.
She didn't have the light on, as the sun setting provided a perfect amount of light. So Lyra fiddled her way to the wall to flip the switch.
The girl rushed to grab a towel and wrap it around her, tucking it in and peeking her head out the window. There was this dark object obscuring her view of Hargeon. " Just what is going on?"

The small young woman peeked her head out the door and saw shadows proceeding down the marble staircase... Lyra stepped out from the doorway and closed the door behind her, gripping her towel close to her and silently stepping down the stairs. The cold marble floors tickling her bare feet.

"Gosh, just when i was getting to the good part..." she said to herself, referring to her book that now laid on her bathroom floor, probably wet, and she probably lost her bookmark as well...

Ean looked up from the book he was reading to the sound of voices coming from outside the guildhalls massive library. The library was so massive in fact that the voices, as loud as they were, were only a faint whisper amongst the throng of books and the sound became severely dispersed by the time it would reach Ean through the walls and bookshelves.

Quincy and Kihia must be fighting again, Ean thought, dismissing the roars as a mere guild brawl going on in the guild’s main hall where everyone typically gathered to have fun and drink and brag about their escapades and all that other good stuff. It wasn’t worth checking up on as things got loud in the guild all the time. Ean just wished it wasn’t while he was reading a book. Little did he know that dark shadows were lurking in the hall’s. Dark shadows that didn’t belong to their demented guild master. Thus Ean continued to read and study. Today was going to be about atmospheric pressures and trying to figure out how he could utilize such things to his magic. Weather was a part of the sky just as the wind was, there must be something he can use.

Ni-Ju sat in a window slit overlooking the guild hall entrance, cleaning Balin and enjoying the cool sea breeze that always peeked around this area just as the sun began it's nightly descent. Wiping a trickle of sweat from his brow, Ni-Ju set his weapon down on the cold marble beside him and closed his eyes to take a well deserved nap.

A sudden feeling of cold washed over Ni-Ju as if someone had walked over his grave causing him to flail in his sleep;sending him plummeting to the floor of the entrance hall below with a loud shriek. Getting back to his feet unsteadily and retrieving his similarly dropped weapon, Ni-Ju began to call for help. Cupping his hands around his mouth to amplify his boyish soprano, Ni-Ju shouted "Lamia Scale to arms!" at the top of his lungs. Hard pressed to stop from shivering at the palpable feeling of danger washing over him, he gripped his gun tightly in both hands and settled in behind the bar to wait for the cavalry to arrive.

OOC:The danger feeling and the reason he is reacting so strongly is because of his Dragon Spirit lineage's passive ability.

Taraki Meyka was doing what he usually did - sleep. Sleep all day and some more, as was the cycle of a lunar mage. Today however things appeared different. Face-down in his fluffy pillow, Tar started once a mage burst into his room screaming. In a flurry, he picked up the nearest pillow and flung it at said mage just as he cried out.

"The guild hall is under attack! Get up!"
    "But.. I.. *snore*"
    "COME ON YOU MUTT"

That hit a nerve. Alert at the snap of the word, Tar jumped up and stared the mage down nose-to-nose "Don't call me that.. Let's go." the young man spoke in a quiet, commanding voice. Snatching up his fur-lined dark clothes, the lunar wizard struggled them on while stepping around the bamboozled disturber. Running a hand over his eyes, Tar half-jogged towards the entrance, running a hand over his sleepy eyes. He was a fairly weak wizard compared to most of the others in the guild but was ready to help whatever way he could.

Enola wiped the gaunt sweat droplet off her forehead and sighed with comfort that she’d completed her day’s cleaning regiment. She placed her signature feather duster back on her waist and transported the box of the guild’s cleaning supplies (which had been dusty themselves when she first found them) back to the storage closet.

Whew… It’ll take weeks to clean this entire tower.

When the box was positioned neatly in the closet, she forced the door closed and locked it, not that anyone would have reason to steal cleaning supplies. With that, the maid carried herself toward the main guildhall entrance in anticipation of heading home.

    Hmm?

As she passed a small, delicate window, she noticed the transition the sky had taken: it was pitch black! She blinked and nearly hung her mouth open, concluding it was simply nighttime and that she’d been cleaning far longer than she first imagined. Thinking nothing of it, she shrugged her shoulders and went onward down the hall while whistling a quiet tune.

A plethora of shuffling feet could be heard down the adjacent corridors – apparently the rest of the guild was in a hurry over something. Enola scratched her head in ignorance of what sparked the commotion but maintained her walking direction nonetheless.

Cyrus quietly rested himself in the tavern of Lamia Scale, his rest unabated by the hustle and bustle of the people around him. He dreamt of many things, including the recent events and adventures he had partaken in with his guildmates. While he was pondering these things, he was awoken by the screaming of his teammate.

"Ni-Ju, please be quiet, I'm trying to sleep," he said. His Venti had something else to say they tugged at him to get his attention, although Kihia and Zuo would be the only ones capable of seeing them at this point. Either way, they brought to his attention the barrier around the guild, causing Cyrus's jaw to drop. He turned back to his teammate, "Ni-Ju, please speak up, we should notify the entire guild about this immediately."

He grabbed his sword off the table and went off to search for the rest of the people in the guild. Kihia needed to be informed, he needed to find the guildmaster, and also he should find Linx, his other team member. Conferring with his Venti as they ran through the guild halls, they talked about what this could possibly mean. It appeared even their wisdom lacked any insight into this barrier, or even who was behind it. This just smelled like trouble.

OOC: Woops accidentally made a super long post. Summary available at the bottom.

Now inside the guild the three figures seemed to care little for stealth as they all stood in the entry hall without making any real effort to conceal themselves. They just seemed content to look around and examine the various mages responding to the strange phenomenon. It seemed the dome of darkness dominated the attention of the guild goers for a time allowing their being there to remain ever unnoticed. But that would soon pass as within a minute or two the stock-still robed entities gathered a bit of attention. A few mooks were trying to demand their attention but they were firmly ignored, which generated more attention and confusion, until one of the three standing in the middle said "Okeanos have you located the most powerful mages?" The tallest of the figures standing to the left replied "I have. I also have design begin." Naturally at the mention of extermination the mages who had noticed the figures were readying their magic to lay the smack down on these invaders but they would not have the chance. The man apparently called Okeanos held his right hand out in front of him revealing that under his robe his forearm was covered in a gauntlet made of a golden metal. A fact that the least of anyone's concerns as Okeanos closed his open hand as if grabbing air and to the amazement of all beholders a  golden trident formed in his hand. He slammed the butt of the trident on the marble floor and yelled "Waters of War! Destroy the weak and scatter the strong!"

That was everyone's cue to try and stop these guys from doing whatever they were trying to do but they would never get the chance as from the ground on which Okeanos stood massive amounts of water surged from the marble flooding the entry hall. The water would flood the entire guild in less then a minute sweeping everyone away to who knows where. By who knows where a better description would be Okeanos knows where. Cyrus, Xavier and Ni-Ju would all be washed down to a the guild arena a large domed area now flooded halfway with water forcing them to swim. Lyra, Verona and Enola would actually find themselves to be in the entry hall where after a minute the water would completely drain, surprisingly not a drop of moisture remained leaving the space incredibly dry. Finally Ean, Rintaro and Kihia would somehow manage to get flushed into the Labyrinth under the guild, most of the water would drain out but it would not become the unnaturally dry environment of the entry hall. Without Zuo present the Labyrinth was static and would be only a single long hallway. Meanwhile a large number of secondary characters would get thrashed around like rag dolls until they lost consciousness, it's hard being cannon fodder it's hard and nobody understands.

Given only a short time to adjust to their new surroundings the mages of Lamia Scale would quickly realize the reason for their dispersal. The doors of the guild arena would suddenly cave in trapping those within; while at the bottom of the deep pool of water a man in golden armor seemed to form of the water taking note of the trident it should become painfully obvious this was Okeanos and he made it even more painfully obvious as he yelled, his voice echoing through the water "I am Okeanos of the Sea, Master of the Trident and I shall be the last thing you shall ever see." At the same time the doors of the entry hall would slam shut and strangely enough the marble would inexplicably seal locking Lyra and company into their battle field. If they were not blind they would see one of the figures had never left the entry hall in the first place and he had discarded his robes for- more robes. Dear god he was wearing robes over robes, of course closer inspection would reveal that his current set of robes was more akin to desert travel gear but essentially he had worn robes over robes. Lamia Scale had truly never known danger greater then his bizarre wardrobe choices. Seemingly unaware of the obscurity of his robeception he calmly explain to those within the entry hall "I am Sandor of the Desert, Master of the Lamp. I hate to inform you but I do have to kill you now." Down in the Labyrinth light rapidly faded and from the darkness stepped out a man who honestly looked a lot like dracula, teeth and all, when he spoke his voice was that of the who stood in the middle earlier "I am Gwahard Dedig of the Darkness, Master of Men."

Ukan would end up on the roof.

Kihia was suddenly caught off-guard when a large torrent of water came from the direction of the main hall and swept him down a rarely used staircase. He heard Ukan howl as he got pushed higher along the main stairs, however his howls quickly faded away. He eventually came to a stop, within the dormant hallway known to be the famous Labyrinth of Zuo, although currently it was no more than an extended hallway with Zuo being away. Kihia knelt there for a moment regaining his breath, through the darkness he noticed that Ean and Rintaro was right next to him, however… he didn’t have time to check on them for he noticed another presence. He turned his gaze towards the end of the hallway and saw a pale man standing within the darkness, however Kihia couldn’t see or any distinguishing features. He then heard the man introduced him, which simply caused Kihia’s jaw to drop. He then tightened his hands into fists, I guess Vents prediction was right… but how is this man still alive…? Kihia shook himself from this confusion, he then readied himself for combat, he knew this corridor was too narrow for maneuvers with Icarus, thankfully however… he wasn’t that hindered by the space. He put his left foot back, “Rintaro… Ean… if this breaks into a full-fledged fight… promise me… you will seek your own safety… even if that means leaving me here by myself…” Kihia then channeled his magical power to his forearms and started to walk forward, this cause his arms to transform into arms of Holy Ice, going as far as to effect his armor as well, “Gwahard Degid… Also known as the Fallen Guardian in my knowledge… state why you are doing this or leave… or else I will have to fight you… and defend Lamia Scale...” Kihia then stood there prepped and ready to cast a spell at any time, waiting just waiting on this mans response.

    Meanwhile….

Ukan had been thrashed about being pushed back up the stairs and was forcefully exited onto the roof. He coughed and sputtered, grumbling how much he hated that experience and why the idea of being this small currently seemed like a bad idea. He then jumped to his feet realizing he had been ejected to the roof all by himself. “Well then… looks like Kihia and I got separated… and not by accident either it would appear…” Ukan then walked over to the edge of the roof, he happened to be on the roof of the main hall, as he looked down he saw the shadow of one man being projected out of the main Guild hall doors, he growled, “it seems that he might have been the cause of that water… don’t people know you don’t give Wyverns baths?” Ukan then took a few steps back, and then charged, jumping right off the roof and falling down to the steps of the Guild hall. As he did he started to grow to a size of four meters in height, 4.8 meters long and 1.2 meters wide. He then landed on the steps with a resounding crack of the ground and started to charge back into the Guildhall just before the doors finished closing, walking right up behind the man who had said moments before that he has to kill those remaining in the hall. “You won’t do that as long as I have any say in the matter intruder!” Ukan then roared and lowered his stance, as his body started to glow from his crown, after a moment a layer of ice formed on his body and a horn of ice on his head, Ukan then would attempt to hit the man by swinging his head a lateral direction trying to ram the horn into him. Whether or not he was successful Ukan would then try and use the opportunity to join Lyra, Enola, and Verona on the other side of Sandor, and be ready to help them.

Verona wasn’t expecting the sudden torrent of water that carried her away from Kihia and towards a place she had never even been to in the guild. “I fweakwing hwathe wathew” Verona tried to talk in the water as she flailed in it with her arms and legs outstretched in weird positions.  She thrashed around angrily in the water as it carried her and a couple of others into the entry hall, practically throwing them in it.

By the time the water had drained, Verona had a dark look on her face as she laughed maniacally while looking straight ahead. She was pissed and she was ready to knock the wind out of whoever it was that caused this whole mess. She looked around to find Enola and Lyra with her. “Hey everyone, get up!” She called out until she felt the presence of someone else in the room with them. She sighed and turned around to find a guy with….robes? in this temperature?

She raised an eyebrow at the suspicious guy who introduced himself as Sandor. She noticed he was ready to attack and she too drew her energy to perform a spell when she noticed an overgrown bulldog charge towards the guy and later join her and the rest.

“Ukan” she groaned, her right eye visibly twitching at the sight of it. What on earth was that ice breather doing there? She thought he would be with Kihia. She turned towards the thing and poked one of its legs as she spoke. “What the hell are you doing here, you mutt? I can take care of this guy by myself!” She would scold him before turning towards Sandor with an irritated expression. “What are you looking at, you weird old man?!”

Xavier wasn’t the biggest fan of going for a mid-day swim. Don’t get me wrong, he was a great swimmer and he enjoyed the water, but in a situation like this it was the worst possible occasion. The torrent of the water seemed to keep him under forcibly and he fought hard to get a hard to get a breath of air before he drowned and missed out on the most exciting thing that’s happened since he joined the guild. Not to mention he’d miss a lot of other things should he drown like… the rest of his life… but one thing at a time, for now. He closed his eyes throughout all of the torment, and when he finally got some air in his lungs, he found himself clinging to the wall in the arena, coughing up water and gasping. He let go of the wall, finding that the water had receded slightly, just enough for him to stand in it properly, and it remained to about the height of his waist, and small waving motion it still was more than enough to push him around, a little. None of this really says much about the others with him, simply because of his height.

Speaking of which, he finally noticed who was with him, most of his team were just as helplessly washed into this room presumably all of them to meet their demise, and that was about the same time this Okeanos asshole rose out of the water at the exact center of this circular room like Pseudo-Jesus, acting like a badass. Seeing this guy wearing armor that he probably spend weeks polishing to look so brilliant suddenly flipped a switch inside of Xavier’s heart, and his personality took a 180. He stood strong, holding against the movement of the water with a look of determination in his eyes accompanied by a sharp toothed grin, showing off his canines like they were going out of style. “Hey, jackass! You made a huge mistake busting into the guild hall of Lamia Scale and thinking you can take on the members of team Clustering Wishes and come out on top!” Cyrus and Ni-Ju Hachi would know the real Xavier never stooped so low as to swear at an opponent. He clenched his fists tight and raised them, before flexing his fingers as lightning bounced between them. He could feel a little sting due to be drenched, but it wasn’t unbearable. “Come take us on, we’ll give you a proper thrashing, buddy!”

OOC: I might've gone over the limit just a bit... hope you don't mind.

Swept into the arena alongside his team mates in a huge torrent of water, Ni-Ju was barely able to maintain a hold on his weapon as he hit the edge of smooth marble enclosure that made up the "Pit" of the arena with substantial force. Kicking and sputtering to the surface just in time to hear Xavier making a verbal ploy against the new found enemy that he had mentally dubbed "The Waterlogged", Ni-Ju began to take stock of his surroundings. From what he coud see the arena's pit was about a hundred meters across of smooth marble with a stylized dome sitting fifty meters above the entirety of the enclosure and one large inset door like opening fifty meters  behind Okeanos, sitting under several meters of water . Doing some quick math in his head, Ni-Ju realized that at the rate the water was filling the building, Clustering Wishes would need to either find a quick way to drain the building or suddenly develop a working set of gills. Finding the latter option unattainable, he worked up a rudimentary plan to even the playing field with their watery nemesis. Taking careful aim as close to Okeanos as possible, Ni-Ju unleashed a micro earth detonation in order to crack the ground into more individual pieces and quickly followed it with a spell he had yet to unveil to any of his compatriots, a macroed Gaia detonation. The whole building shook as dozens of small explosions went off, turning the once solid floor into nothing more then a huge sieve and sending plumes of metal dust rocketing through the water harmlessly.  "Hope Zuo forgives the floor." He whispered, thinking that by the end of this the floor would be the least of his worries.

OOC:I don't expect any damage to have been dealt with these spells btw(Unless you are throwing me a bone Zuo. lol). All I intended was to make it hard to both see clearly while submerged and empty as much of the available water as possible.

“Hm?” Ean looked up for a second at the sound of rushing water as the library flooded in and he was blown away. Ean grew up in a port town so he already knew how to swim and was able to keep himself from drowning or passing out. He even went through the whole ordeal with his usual poker face.

Ean still coughed up a little water as he arrived in the chambers to hear Kihia’s voice and the voice and name of their assailant. Ean was a little disoriented as one would expect but he was clearly able to hear Kihia’s instructions to him and Rintaro, whom Ean only just looked up to see. “Kihia,” Ean replied quietly before pointing at Kihia. “What’s that wiggling in your pants? Ean pointed out the large fish fin sticking out of the back of Kihia’s pants as the fish flailed around in a desperate attempt to escape and fall back in water that wasn’t nearby.

Ean immediately went back to the enemy at hand. He didn’t recognize him but Kihia seemed to and he wondered what the connection was. Clearly the relationship wasn’t friendly but at the very least if there was someone who was a threat to the guild Kihia or Zuo Cii would have given a warning to guild members to be on the lookout. He never knew of any man who had this general look to him so he was unsure of the circumstances. At the very least he wasn’t leaving Kihia to fight the guy alone but he knew it best to stay out the way. Ean wasn’t much of a fighter anyways so getting into the line of fire might ultimately be a bad idea. A simple support strategy to give Kihia and Rintaro an upper hand against this enemy was what Ean would do.

Fear overcame Enola as she felt herself being taken by a current of water – her worst fear. She flailed her arms like child learning to swim as she felt herself seemingly drown. Her body couldn’t move and she was panicking to the extreme. Bubbles escaped her mouth, which vibrated with an underwater scream, and her eyes were shut tight.

The water seemed to drain entirely and Enola found herself on the floor of the guild’s entry hall. She was curled up into the fetal position, shaking profusely from almost drowning. She looked around to see some of her guild mates, Lyra and Verona.  She ran her hands over her own body, not feeling a drop of water. It was as if she’d been through a blow dryer. When Sandor introduced himself, Enola stood up wobbly like a calf learning to walk for the first time. Her body was still shaking from the earlier water current but she managed to position herself into a battle-ready stance.

Enola took a deep breath, though it turned into a gasp when Ukan appeared behind Sandor. Ukan was, ironically, a warm sight for Enola’s watery eyes. There was just something comforting about having a large wyvern on your side; although, Verona didn’t seem too happy about it.

In a raspy voice, Enola suggested, “Miss Verona… perhaps Ukan’s assistance wouldn’t be so bad.” She was still controlling her breathing, attempting to relax her nerves, and adjusted her glasses. Her gloved hands were clench tightly, shaking as well.

Sandor didn't seem to notice Ukan behind him and kept speaking as if there was no ice wyvern trying to impale him with a horn "Sorry ladies and lack of gentlemen." As Ukan attacked the black robed figured turned to sand and sunk to the ground. The wyvern's horn would swing over him harmlessly as the sand spread out across the floor. It became rapidly apparent that Sandor was creating more sand then he had initially shifted into as it began to fill the room rather quickly. Fortunately the sand didn't become anything deep enough to do much more then bury the feet of the members of Lamia Scale. Sandor re-materialized from the sand on the opposite side of the room "It's show time!" He pointed his lamp at them and a plume of blue smoke erupted from the barrel that swirled and formed into a massive blue humanoid torso floating in mid-air. Sandor took a bow "Allow me to introduce you to my genie. Ali the Trickster." The giant blue genie clapped his hands and suddenly Verona, Enola and Ukan were all seated in lined up school desks and uniforms. Sandor laughed "Time for desert survival class kiddos." In response to his zany line a tornado of sand rose up in front of Ali, the wind it generated ripped at Sandor's robes and whipped up sand all around the room. Ali snapped his fingers and naturally it caught on fire and began advancing on the Lamia Scale mages at rapid speed.

Down in the arena Okeanos swam like a bullet out of harms way from Ni-Ju's spell. He heard a rumbling from above and decided to provide color commentary "Well looks like Sandor is cutting loose. I pity whoever got stuck with him. The guy is a total nutter. I heard he had a picnic mid-fight with his last enemy. Then killed them by materializing a stick of dynamite in their potato salad. Luckily for you guys I don't dable in crazy other worldly magic. I stick to the simple things in life. Like drowning you all then stabbing whoever is left." True to his word Okeanos spun his trident over his head causing the water levels to rise almost to the roof before creating a massive whirlpool filling the room. The water guardian had to keep his trident spinning to maintain the whirlpool leaving him vulnerable but he honestly doubted "clustering wishes" would be able to take a clear shot at them while trapped in his watery vortex.

Down in the labyrinth Gwahard seized up Kihia and Ean "My reason for attacking? Would you be content if I said because no one could stop me? No I don't think so. How about I'm here to avenge my fallen master? No no that won't work either as my master is very much not fallen and if he was I wouldn't care for revenge. Not to mention you didn't kill him after all why would a student kill his master? Oh that's right because said master had their older brother decapitate them!" Gwahard bared his fangs "I'm here to take Zuo down a size you thick skulled brute. Since attacking him directly is suicide, slaughtering you worms is the next best thing. So if you wish to protect you're guild come get me you doggishly loyal blunt instrument!" The entity of darkness spreads his arms out and with a snap of both fingers a wall of darkness appeared in between Kihia and Ean. A shadow clone of Gwahard appeared on Ean's side of the wall as the real Gwahard took a step towards Kihia "I can tell you're friend isn't the solo fighting type. In fact I studied him and picked him specifically for this before attacking. He won't last long against what's over there. Better work fast hero."

Post by Kihia 10th March 2015, 8:44 pm

Kihia listened to what Gwarhard had to say, becoming a little perplexed from what he had to say, however his expression hardened when he heard the last line of Gwahard’s little speech. Kihia tightened his fists slowly turning his arms back to normal, It seems my original plan won’t be enough… Kihia however quickly took a defensive stance as it seemed Gwahard went to make his move, the fallen Guardian extended out his hands as Kihia adopts an unarmed defensive stance. When Gwarhard snapped his fingers he was ready for almost anything… except for what actually happened. A wall of Shadow formed behind Kihia separating him from Ean.

Kihia looked over his shoulder for a second visibly starting to shake, he then closed his eyes and called out with the loudest his voice can muster, so his voice would echo throughout the Guild Hall, “All Members of Lamia Scale! The Family of Heroes! Rise up and stand together! These enemies are the strongest you have faced yet! But if we stand together and fight as one, We will defeat them!”

Kihia Then lowered his stance at the same time, “Hang in tight Ean I am coming for you…” He then start to send a good portion of his magic power to his hands, “Glacier Demon Slayer Secret Art…. Frozen Gauntlets of Sanctification!” As the elegant Gauntlets formed he thought about the situation, The wall is within one meter behind me… and Ean a meter from the shadow wall… the hallway of the labyrinth itself was three meters wide… and Gwahard was approximately four meters from my present location… Kihia’s eyes flashed angrily as he then suddenly and rapidly spun around extend both hands outward palms open, one hand facing the shadow wall, angled upward slightly so there would be enough room for Ean to find shelter low to the ground if it broke through the wall. His other hand, was facing right at Gwahard aiming straight into the center of the hall, then both Gauntlets unleash a powerful blast that was nearly blinding from the sudden burst of light, the one facing Gwahard filled the hallway as it accelerated towards him, and the other blasted upward impacting the wall itself.

Whether or not either maneuver was successful on either end Kihia would whip around again and adopt a defensive stance with the two gauntlets, prepared to react to any reaction as fast as possible.

Ukan Growled at Sandor, disappointed that his surprise attack ultimately failed. He watched as the sand quickly accumulated covering half way up the wyverns toes. He watched as the enemy pointed his lamp at the group, a plume of blue smoke erupted from it and coalesced into a blue genie. A split second between all these actions, Ukan heard a voice Echoing from the depths of the hall… It was Kihia… he was calling to everyone to stand strong and stand together… rallying all of Lamia Scale… Ukan chuckled “That ice mage sure can be talkative when he needs to be…” He then turned his full attention back to Ali and Sandor who and said something. Suddenly they were sitting in desks, including one somehow big enough for Ukans present size. He then saw two sand twisters than then seemingly got caught on fire and was launched towards Verona and Enola. In that instant Ukan crashed out of his seat, quickly growing to a bigger size to cover Verona and Enola with his sheer bulk. He was now ten meters tall, 8.33 meters long and 2.66 meters wide. He crashed into the twisters grunting due to the pain as the ice armor he made got shredded from the spell. After a Second Ukan found his bearings and took a few steps forward breaking through the spells with a clearish opening at Ali and Sandor, he then open his mouth and exhaled letting out a rather large(16.67 meters tall,  20 meters long, and 13.33 meters wide) straight at Sandor. Whether or not this attack would hit home Ukan would take a step back lowering his stance to find a better footing on the sand.

Post by Verona Stone 11th March 2015, 10:12 am

Verona sighed, pulling herself back from Ukan when she heard the calm voice of Enola. It wasn't as if Verona really hated the giant wyvern anyway. She knew that somewhere deep inside her, she was actually thanking the huge pet for his help. In fact, if someone looked closely at her, they would see a small trace of smile on her lips. It was just such a pity that Verona was never good at admitting things she didn’t want to.

When she was finally ready to face Sandor, she heard a crystal clear voice ringing around her. The voice belonged to someone she was all too familiar with as the guild's ace and Ukan's owner. Kihia Avoa. Though what he said, made her crack and giggle like a schoolgirl in love. "Seriously? Which era is he from?" she joked, hiding the impact the words had on her. She knew how much he liked to play the shield for Lamia Scale even though it had not been more than a few months since she joined. But the passion and care he put forward for the group of people had managed to earn her respect within a couple of days from when she joined. What an interesting place she had ended up in, Raven thought, watching Ukan and Enola from the corner of her eyes.

However, she wasn't expecting a giant genie to just pop out of whatever the mad man was holding. "Doesn't this remind me of something?" she wondered out loud when she was suddenly put into a school girl's outfit. Suddenly, they were students sitting down in front of a teacher as they explained something only they understood. But then again, they never actually summoned a sandstorm, put it on fire and sent them at their pupil before.

Verona's eyes widened and she was about to jump out of her seat and take the fire all by herself when Ukan beat her to it. "Ukan!" She screamed, her voice escaping her lips before she could stop them. As much as she acted like she didn't care, she was scared for the big wyvern as well. Her eyes narrowed and she growled at the sand man, getting ready to attack him after Ukan.

OOC: Not that good for a post >.> In my defense, I had way too many things in my mind.

Xavier mouth quickly filled with water as the levels began to rise from the “water guardian” controlling it seemingly effortlessly shortly after he gave his two cents. He quickly gained a holding, and steadied himself on the top side of the waters as the current began to take them around in a circle, quickly gaining rotational speed. Despite being whipped around in the current Xavier managed to lock eyes with Okeanos for a brief second, and there was something in his gaze that really bothered him. He thought of this for a moment and secondly how to land a blow on this jerk, and he finally got it. “Your watery waves are a nuisance, I’ll give you that. But if you think you’re on top here I can’t tell you just how wrong you are!” He swam the opposite direction of the waves to help him focus while he cast the spell. “Lightning Dragon: Static Comet!” His body was enveloped in pure lightning energy that he moved with the force of his will to go straight for the Poseidon knock-off.

After the impact or whatever happens, he falls back into the waters because there’s no space anywhere without it and fights to stand at the edge, next to the trident wielding jerk. “That look in your eyes. You don’t even think we matter do you?!” he shouted rhetorically, bearing his fang-like teeth at him. “I’ll quickly make you change your mind, pal.” He let the water take him back into the current now. “Clustering Wishes isn’t anything to scoff at, you hear me!”

Important Re: A matter of some importance

Post by Inspirational Quote 14th March 2015, 11:55 am

Ni-Ju kicked as hard as he could just to stay afloat as his sodden clothes weighed against his every movement, dragging Ni-Ju inexorably closer toward the center of the vortex with each passing second. Fighting off a growing sense of panic, Ni-Ju took several calming breathes then began to wrack his brain for ideas on how to get everyone with the obvious exception of "The Waterlogged" out of this mess. It seemed he was not the only one looking for a quick way to bring the matter to a close as Xavier seemed to spot a chink in their opponents armor and moved to quickly exploit it before whatever momentary gap in Okeanos's defenses closed.

Something about the whole situation brought the memory of Ni-Ju's first ocean journey floating to the surface of his thoughts. The trip had been a long one, all the way down the western and southern coasts of Fiore on the way to Hargeon Town. Midway through the journey a large storm sprang up from the south and washed several of the men overboard including the first mate. After the storm had passed the captain had thought it prudent to spend at least one day looking for survivors even though everyone's hopes had been low. At the end of the day, much to everyone's surprise, the first mate was found alive and well. The man had survived twenty foot waves and gale force winds using nothing more then the clothes on his back and the air from his lungs.

Determined to see this through to the end, Ni-Ju began to put what he had learned that day to the test. Removing his pants as quickly as possible given the circumstances, he tied the waistband closed with his belt and began to blow into the leg of the trousers to make an improvised floating device. Satisfied that his most immediate problem was dealt with, Ni-Ju did the only thing he could do for the moment and settled in to wait for when lady luck showed her face again.

Talen was engoying a very nice nap in his room of the Lamia Scale guild hall, having a nice dream about a restaurant that he had visited in during a trip to Bosco, when it was interrupted by something very strange, water. He had been dreaming about a nice stake that he had ordered, but all of a sudden the entire city was covered in water. Strange Talen thought to himself. Suddenly Talen found that he could not breath, and he jolted awake to find himself surrounded by nothing but water, "Wait... What.... Where?" Talen found himself in some sort of Colosseum that was rapidly filling with water. As the water level rose, the summoner noticed that both Ni-Ju and Xavier were in the room with him, and another mage that Talen had never seen before, a man in golden armor wielding a trident.

As Talen tried to clear his mind of sleepy thoughts, the mage saw Xavier turn into lighting and shoot at the golden armored man like a rocket, and heard the young mage's speech about the man not thinking that the Lamia Scale mages mattered.

Talen began to tread water and realized that Lamia Scale must be under attack, and this small group could be its only defenders left. After quietly cursing himself for sleeping to much, Talen said, "Hey  Mr. Shiny, I may not be a member of Clustering Wishes, but that does not mean that I will stand by and allow you to harm my guild mates!!" Talen reached to his hip for his Celestial Spirit keys, selecting his second newest one, before raising it and shouting "Gate of the Beast I Open thee: HYDRA!!"

The room began to shake as a Celestial Spirit gate about 50 meters tall opened. A 5 headed hydra stepped from the gate, its heads almost scraping the top of the room. The beast took a deep breath with each of its heads before unleashing an earth shattering roar.

One of the beast's heads turned to look at each person in the room. The one looking at Talen said in a rumbling voice, "What do you want?" "I need you to eat that man." Talen said pointing to the golden armored figure. "Looks crunchy, but alright."

Hydra turned all of his heads toward his opponent, and after a brief moment, all of his heads shoot towards Okeanos with surprising speed, all of them trying to get a bite of the brightly armored man.

The fear of having nearly drowned still swept through Enola’s body until she heard Kihia’s bold words. With that, her vigor and courage returned and shaking had dispensed. Before she could act on her regained confidence, a genie appeared before Sandor and seemingly changed the room into a classroom with sand all around the trio. Enola looked around and grew slightly squeamish when she realized she wasn’t in her maid uniform. One moment, she feared drowning; now, she feared what it was going to cost to replace her outfit. Although, her problem at the moment was definitely the flaming sandstorm hurdling right toward them.

She jumped out of her desk in a frenzy, prepared to counter the sandstorm, but reeled back when Ukan took the blunt blow to his massive body. As Ukan grunted, Enola winced as if she’d felt the pain herself. Pity ran through her to see the generous beast take a dose of pain; though that pity was quickly replaced by horrific nostalgia as she peaked beneath his legs and saw the ice storm she once dreaded. A shudder went up her spine as she recalled once being caught in his terrible ice breath. She almost had to feel sorry for the genie and Sandor – his ice breath was not at all a fun thing to be up against.

Verona, once again, seemed rather upset by Ukan’s actions. Enola, for the life of her, could not comprehend Verona’s flighty attitude but brushed it off as mere energetic youth, quite unaware that her guild mate had a certain specialty with fire.

Intending to ensure Ukan’s attack hit, Enola slammed her foot on the sandy ground. Assuming everything went as expected, several cracks would open up on the marble floor under Sandor and a geyser of dust would erupt through the sand from underneath him. Enola doubted how much damage she could actually do but hoped she’d at least catch the robed mage off guard. Regardless of the success or failure of her spell, Enola stood by Verona and Ukan and prepped herself for another round of attack against Sandor and his lunatic genie.

Enola cleared her throat and softly mumbled, “I hope you’re okay Mr. Ukan…” She stood facing her two opponents as she spoke, still upset about losing her maid uniform apparently.

Calling Gwahard exceedingly arrogant was too nice a compliment to pay him. As such it should have been no surprise that when Kihia fired off his ice beam he laughed like a tool and said "Imbecile! You fell right into my trap!" Another wall of darkness appeared this time in between Gwahard and Kihia "Schrodinger Pandorica!" When Kihia's ice beams hit either wall of darkess the beams seemed to just go into them. But unfortunately for the Frozen Knight they weren't walls at all but rather portals, what went in one came out the other, sending his ice beams back at him from different directions. Safely outside the death box Gwahard laughed "I know you've seen this move before. I do hope you don't think Sandor was creative enough to make that little trick on his own."

    Meanwhile...

Sandor really hated it when his attacks got tanked. Which was probably why he requested that under no circumstances was he to fight Kihia. Annoying bugger was a defensive tank. He thought he had gotten his way at first. BUT NOOOOOOOO. Now he was fighting Kihia's pet dog-dragon that seemed to also wield his talent for blocking everything. Quickly irritated Sandor yelled "Screw you, you damn Kihia knockoff! Ali, do the thing!" But before Ali could do the thing Sandor took a face full of dust and and an everything full of ice blast as the ice blast passed harmlessly through the immaterial genie. Sandor crashed into the wall behind him with a blast of profanity. He scrambled to his feet "Ali! Do the thing now!" The blue genie snapped his fingers and a cartoonishly long steel rod appeared in Sandor's hand. Sandor charged out in front of Ali and stabbed at Ukan with the rod in both hands. Unless Ukan avoided the stick would ram into his chest dealing almost no damage. But Ukan would notice himself stuck to the end of the rod regardless of any force he used to pull himself free. Then(assuming he did manage to stick Ukan) Sandor would jump into the air swinging the steel rod over his head almost effortlessly, taking Ukan with it, before bringing Ukan down on Enola and Verona like a giant wyvern sledge hammer. Apparently the scrawny guy had some muscle. However if Ukan avoided his initial stabbing Sandor would simply throw the rod at Ukan in frustration while spewing profanity.

    Nutter.

Okeanos was surprised to say the least when Xavier so easily escaped his whirlpool, even more so when Ni-Ju took off his pants, and even more so when a giant hydra appeared. Surprised enough to let Xavier crashing into him sending Okeanos crashing into the wall of the arena. The man was far from defeated but the lightning attack hurt like nobodies business. He threw his trident at Xavier in retaliation, as it left his hand a new trident rematerialized, which he promptly threw at Ni-Ju for good measure. The tridents once thrown began to spin creating a tornado of water around them as they neared their unfortunate targets. Okeanos figured that would be enough to deal with them and turned his attention to the obvious threat of the charging Hydra. Yet another trident appeared in Okeanos's hand and he pointed it at the approaching Hydra and a giant golden magic circle appeared "Come forth monster of the deep! Wreak havoc on all who dwell on land. Show them the terror of the Kraken!" A massive squid like monster emerged from the magic circle and crashed into the Hydra, which was it's match in size. It's countless tentacles tried to constrict the many throats of the Hydra to both stop it's advance and if possible crush it's throats to suffocate it. Okeanos paused to wonder if celestial spirits even needed to breath, he also questioned if crushing a hydra's throat counted as cutting off it's head as it would kill the head without removing it, both questions he figured would soon be answered.
