Cold, chilling wind blew as hours passed in silence near a forest, a clock pertaining to a nearby village announcing that it was already midnight. The full moon had risen right above the forest, a very few, far away wolf howls coming from the depths of the forest, indicating that it was possibly not the best place for humans, and even mages, to spend their time at. Many would avoid this place mainly due to the aspect of it; from far, one could see that trees were thick, old, and a lot. Many of them lacked leaves; making their naked branches look like elongated tentacles ready to grab you at any second.
Some of the adventurers that were bold enough to go past this small appearance issue, were usually pushed back by the bigger issue, which was, the Legends about the woods, no less. Many of the Nearby village habitants told legends of the creatures that appeared to live in this forest in particular. According to what legends said, they were gigantic, ferocious beasts, who never let anyone slip away from them once he was in their paws; even if it was a small baby or a 6-years old girl. This small detail about the forest had always pushed many travelers away; and naturally, had drawn some towards it.
Elizabeth Silvershield stood near the very entrance of the forest, tapping her foot against the ground, following the rythm of a cheerful and nice song she had heard yesterday. She appeared totally calm, considering the place she was before; she even looked prepared to enter it, even she looked as if she found the entire thing funny. Naturally, this girl did realize how perillous this forest was; she simply didn't give a damn about it. She was supposed to achieve more power in this forest, so she didn't see it as a forbidden field, as scary; but more rather as a training field.
