2nd Generation Ice Dragon Slayer Magic
Primary Magic: Winter Huntress Ice Make Magic
Secondary Magic: Ice Dragon Slayer (Lacrima)
Caster or Holder:
Caster
Description:
Bliss is what is described as a ‘Second Generation Dragon Slayer’ due to her having received her Dragon Slayer magic through Lacrima rather than being taught by a Dragon. The Ice Dragon Lacrima within her is a type of Lost magic that gives her the ability to use powers that are usually reserved for the ‘First Generation’ Dragon Slayers.
This Lacrima plus her original magical ability has given her the power to cast a variety of ice based spells with five general focuses; Slows, Defences, DoT, powerful burst strength and some impressive AoE spells. When these spells are put in conjunction with her family’s natural affinity to Ice and the training she received in her clan.
Strengths:
Due to her family’s natural affinity for ice, plus the lacrima that pumps the power of an Ice Dragon through her veins, Bliss has developed a 50% resistance to all cold and ice based attacks. She could literally walk through a blizzard in nothing but a swimsuit and not feel anything for quite some time.
As she is not a ‘pure’ Dragon Slayer, Bliss has some abilities that would come as a surprise to many, being able to cope in and adapt to both long and close range combat situations.
As Ice has a reflective quality, Bliss is able to reflect light spells equal or lower than her own rank.
Water magic struggles to make an impact on Bliss as well, as she can simply freeze any water magic of her own rank or below. However, water of a higher rank will melt the ice over time.
As an Ice Dragon Slayer, Bliss is able to eat Ice to rebuild her strength. This could be natural ice or ice cast by other mages.
Weaknesses:
Ice magic is naturally weak to fire and heat based magic, thus any magic of this affinity of equal or higher rank will spell trouble.
Despite the Lacrima giving increased body strength and endurance, Bliss is still only human at the end of the day. She can take a beating, but she still has her limits.
Despite having Lacrima, the issues with motion sickness are still evident when on a mode of transport. Travelling on an animal or by magic seems to be fine.
Bliss is unable to eat her own Ice, or the Ice of a Demon/God Slayer, regardless of their rank.
A Demon/God slayer of the same affinity is able to eat Bliss’ ice, rendering her spells useless.
Powers/Abilities:
Dragon Force: The Ice Dragon Lacrima has given Bliss the ability to activate Dragon Force, a powerful asset that doubles Bliss' strength and durability, and makes all of her spells deal damage equal to her own rank. Dragon Force lasts for 7 posts, and leaves Bliss with 5% MP.
Heightened Senses: The Dragon Lacrima has given Bliss a considerable boost to her already high sensory abilities, boosting her sense of hearing and sense of smell to considerably high levels. This is particularly useful as it fits perfectly with the purpose of her primary magic.
Arctic Frost Bliss' natural affinity for Ice combined with the Ice Dragon lacrima has resulted in her being able to create ice that is many, MANY degrees colder than normal. This ice takes time to build up in her body (and thus spells that use it have a longer cooldown period) but it is able to freeze over even a pool of lava if the spell itself is of a high enough rank.

- D-rank:
Name: Ice Dragon's Fang Drop
Rank: D
Type: 2nd Gen Ice Dragon, Offensive.
Description:
Bliss' right leg is coated in a faint blue aura that gives off extreme cold. She swings her right leg up high into the air, then brings her heel crashing down onto her target's head, sending them face first into the floor and delivering frostbite to the impacted area (see Primary Magic)
Strengths:
- Causes frostbite for extra damage.
- A powerful single target strike that can incapacitate an enemy.
- Needs no charging up, allowing for instant use.
Weaknesses:
- Fire or heat related spells of equal or higher rank remove the ice aura around Bliss' leg.
- The strike can be quickly blocked by a well timed melee move.
- If blocked correctly, Bliss becomes an open target, unable to move without the risk of hitting the floor hard.
- Bliss is unable to use other spells while performing this attack.
Duration: Instant
Cooldown: 3 Posts
- C-rank:
Name: Roar of the Ice Dragon
Rank: C
Type: 2nd Gen Ice Dragon, Offensive.
Description: Bliss takes a moment to take a deep breath in, combining the air she breathes with the ice magic in her body. She then lets rip with a roar; a powerful blast of ice magic that can be cast only by slayers. It can travel up to 75m at a speed of 30m/s and deals C-rank damage. Anyone hit by the roar is afflicted with C-rank frostbite (see Primary Magic).
Strengths:
- A great ranged option for occasions where Bliss isn't wielding Shiva's Bow.
- Inflicts Frostbite for extra damage.
- The roar takes little time to charge and can reach its maximum range within 2 1/2 seconds, making it very difficult to dodge it.
Weaknesses:
- The direction of the roar cannot be changed once it is fired.
- The Ice Dragon’s Roar is essentially a single target spell meaning that unless two opponents are stood side by side there is little chance of hitting more than one opponent with this spell.
- A fast opponent could strike Bliss in the gut while she inhales, resulting in a failed roar and putting her into a stunned state.
- Ice God/Demon Slayers can consume the roar or even deflect it with their respective howls.
