A day at the Crocus fair (open social) 2dsjrr8

It has been a very long time since Aayla had been able to get away from Sabertooth. It seemed all she did lately was train, learn and go out on missions. She was so determined to get stronger and so determined to keep her weaknesses hidden, that she very rarely spent any time to herself. Well, today was going to be different.

She had seen a flyer up in the guild hall that welcomed everybody to Crocus' annual flower festival and fair. The flyer boasted hundreds of different flowers, exciting games and even roller coasters. There would be all kind of food and exciting things to see!

She had never been to a fair before... in fact she had never even heard of a fair and so at first came out of pure curiosity. However, now that she stood in the crowd that buzzed about the designated fair grounds, she found herself gasping at the scenery in awe.

There were rides taller than the tallest buildings in crocus, a giant wheel that one could sit in and spin slowly. The wheel had so many different colored seats in them, and so many lights flashing that for a moment Aayla had to look away. She looked around her, taking in the stand after stand of markets. There were grilled fish sales, candy sales and toy sales, there were fishing games and shooting games and tests of strength. It seemed there was something here for absolutely every type of person that you could think of!

As Aayla slowly made her way through the streets of the fair, she wasn't paying a single attention to where she was going, and ended up walking straight into an older boy who dropped his ce cream into the girls beautiful blue hair. Aayla squeaked as she jumped back and quickly bowed her head in apology, letting the ice cream slip down onto her shirt and onto her shoes. Her face went bright red as she apologized to the boy who began apologizing right back. He was quick to try and get the ice cream off of her, even guiding her to a boutique where he helped her pick out some new clothes to replace her stained ones. They were even nice enough to let her wash her hair in the back sink.

When she came out of the changing rooms, all cleaned up and in new clothes, Aayla found herself wearing a dark purple short skirt with knee high white stockings. Her shirt was now a cute white blouse with a purple tie. Speaking of ties, Aayla now had her hair tied back into a twisted bun in an effort to hide any evidence of what had happened.

"I'm so sorry again... thank you for taking care of me..."

Manayus chuckled as he brought the young girl into the boutique, helping her pick out an outfit that would make the young girl look absolutely adorable here at the fair. He felt absolutely terrible that he had bumped into her and ruined her clothes, and so he had to make it up to her.

As the girl changed, he refused to let her pay for the change in clothing, and so went to the cashier and gave her the money in advance, so that the girl didn't have time to argue with him. Whenever she came out though, his face turned into a beaming smile as he went over to her and couldn't help but hug her tightly.

"You look absolutely adorable! So cute! I can't beleive how well this suits you!"
He exclaimed in excitement, finally pulling away from the young girl and reaching up to her hair, fixing it for her by dropping her beautiful long bangs down to the side of her face.

"Stop apologizing little blue. It was my fault for bumping into you. Now, are you here with anyone? We should probably find your friends."

"U..uhm... thank you Manayus... but... I came alone... see I've never been to a fair so... I wanted to see what it was... I I didn't think it would be so... big."
She stated with a bright blush popping up onto her cheeks, even as she attempted to regain her balance from Manayus nearly smothering her with how cute she looked.

Seeing as how she had come alone, the two had decided to venture out through the fair together instead of on their own. They stopped to replace Manayus' dropped ice cream, grabbing one of the treats for herself as well before continuing on their sight seeing journey. This chocolate ice cream had been the best thing Aayla had eaten in a very long time! It was almost as good as apple pie! She savored every bit of the desert until there was absolutely nothing left in her hands for her to eat. She couldn't help the pout that crossed her lips when it was done.

The brunette looked around the fair, her eyes containing an excited gleam. Everything about this place was so marvelous; the rides, the games, the food. Especially the food. Zoe had seen the advert of the festival beforehand and so traveled to Crocus to Magnolia just for this. Fiore's capital did the fair justice by making it such an extravagant sight.

The first thing Zoe rushed to were the candy stalls, candy was one thing she loved more than anything else. "There are so many assortments to choose from!" The overly chirpy mage exclaimed as she started placing every kind of a sweet in a plastic bag. Once she was done, the bag weighed a lot and the shopkeeper gave her a strange look but she as long as she paid him, it was fine.

Zoe rummaged through her pockets to look for money to pay to the shopkeeper. She counted how much she had and realized it was much less than the amount of the things she had bought. "Give me a second." Zoe said to the shopkeeper. She looked around trying to think of a way to get more jewels because she was not going to keep the sweets back at all.

Scanning the crowd, Zoe spotted a familiar face; Manayus, her guild mate. He was accompanied with a cute blue-haired girl. But all that mattered to Zoe at the moment was the money. She skipped over to Manayus and Aayla and greeted them in a chirpy voice, "Hello Manayus-san and a girl I have not met yet." She smiled at Aayla and introduced herself, "I'm Zoe, a guild mate of Manayus-san. Pleasure to meet you." She turned back to Manayus and placed an overly sweet and innocent smile on her face, "Hey Manayus-san, do you happen to have some jewels with you? Because I don't have enough to pay for my sweets. Please." She knew that Manayus was a kind person and there was no way he would refuse her.

"Ooooh!" cooed the girl as she walked into the city of Crocus. There were so many vibrant colours all around the place, all varying hues and textures! "Wow... is it like this all the time? How do the people sustain themselves with all this vibrant exposure if so?" T'Lem asked aloud, her eyes scanning through the crowds until she saw a girl with bright blue hair talking to a man and another girl.

"Oh wow!" she said as she got closer to them and tilted her head this way and that, inspecting the girls azure mane. "I've never seen a human with hair follicle colouration like this before! Is it naturally this way, or did you artificially alter it to be this hue? If the latter why? If the former, is it an external indication of your magical archetype association?" inquired the blonde brunnete. She peered closer to the hair and then made a squeeing sound. "Analysis indicates its natural! No artificial substances discovered!" said T'Lem before she sniffed the air a little.

"High concentrations of hydrogenised oxygen, along with sodium chloride, which seems to indicate you spend a lot of time in the sea, or similar environments... oh I would love to see the sea!" giggled the girl. "See the sea. Vocalisation of differing words with exact same sounds is funny~" She then turned her attention to the male and made a cooing sound. "Oooh! Magical particle accelerants diffusing themselves from your personage~ Have you always done that or is it a natural extension of the organic system matter known as puberty? Or is it a pheramone symptom?" inquired the girl before regarding the second girl for a moment before she pouted.

"Aww... why don't you do anything interesting?" she asked in an almost disappointed tone of voice. Before she looked at all three and blinked a little. She suddenly clapped her hands to her mouth and bowed deeply. "I am so so so so so so so so sorry!" she exclaimed, her head still bowed. "My socialisation subroutines are still needing some work... that was all very rude of me. Please forgive me!" T'Lem said before slowly rising from her bow.

"Manners Protocol Zero Zero One initiated. I'm the Technological Lacrima Mage Replacement Unit Prototype, or T.L.M.R.U.P for short... you can call me T'Lem Rupee though if you like. What are your names?" she asked politely, as if this was a normal thing to do and say.

"Oh... uhm hello Ms Zoe... My name is Aayla, i'm actually from Sabertooth."
She added, seeing as how she was a guild mates of Manayus's then she had might as well state which guild she was from, just so that they all had the same information from each other. However, when the girl turned to Manayus and asked for money, she raised an eyebrow. Was this Zoe girl maybe his girlfriend? She seemed to act strangely familiar with him if she wasn't.

"oh... sure Zoe how much did you need?"
Manayus asked as he reached into his pants pocket to retreive his wallet and give Zoe some jewel whenever another young girl cam running up towards them, hyperactivity nearly radiating from the girl as she came along talking both about Aayla's hair and his aura in rather... original ways. He tried hard not to laugh at the girl, that would be terribly rude!

Aayla on the other hand had taken a step back from the girl as the girl came up and stared at her hair, turning her head one way and the other to try and get a better look at it, spewing words she barely understood before deducing that it was her natural hair color.

"O...oh course it's not artificial! Why... why would it be..."
She said as she reached up to touch her hair as if she was suddenly viewed as a freak. On the other hand, Manayus seemed to have a rather proud look on his face as the girl spoke of his aura.

"They are magical particles that naturally come from me, so I suppose they could be a sort of pheromone if you think about it..."
    He said, pondering the thought.

"Well, nice to meet you Aayla-san." The brunette said, a bright smile plastered on her face. As she turned towards Manayus to state how much money she required, an overly hyperactive girl approached them and started talking non-stop. Even though she was speaking rather fast, Zoe as well as the other two could understand what she was saying.

The girl then stated about how Zoe is not interesting in any way. "Wha..?" Zoe exclaimed, "I'm pretty interesting. Just so you know, I am capable of flying." The girl then moved on to introduce herself as T'Lem Rupee, she was some sort of Technological Lacrima or something similar to that; the wind mage was not able to catch the entire sentence and then proceeded to ask their names. "My name is Zoe." The brunette introduced herself.

"Well, it's just I never saw that hair colouration on any of the scientists in the lab, so I thought it may have been artificially induced." explained T'Lem at the blue haired girls question. She tilted her head a little as she looked at it some more. "If I had any aesthetic analytical programming, I'd say that the colour suits you. It would be... what's the appropriate word... weird, yes that's it, weird, if you were a mage that spent a lot of time in the sea and didn't have something on your person to reflect that attribute." complimented the robot before looking at the orange haired male.

"Interesting... do they do anything aside from being phosphorescent? Do they exude any chemicals that interact with the opposite of the species?" T'Lem inquired of the mage before regarding the female identifying herself as Zoe. "Ooooh! Really?" she asked, before initiating her own launch sequence and taking to the skies.

She zoomed around for a moment before coming back down to the ground. "What's your current top speed, or expected top speed? I can currently reach speeds of 20 metres per second, or forty four miles per hour, although it's been theorised I can go faster... although not right now though since my endo-skeletal frame needs some more fine tuning to be able to withstand self-imposed high speeds." T'Lem then looked Zoe over before frowning slightly and proceeding to pout at the girl. "I'm not picking up any lacrima energy signatures in any of your articles of clothing... and you register as being biologically human..."

"Uhm... I suppose it does... in a way... The dust naturally carries an aroma that is most pleasing to the person who can smell it. It won't affect anyone or attract them or anything like that, as far as I know."
Manayus stated, bringing a hand up to his chin and pondering the thought for a moment. What if it did drive some girls crazy when they were around him? That might explain the horde of crazy fangirls that were constantly after him.

"oh, and forgive my rudeness miss Lupee, I am known as Manayus, Fairy Tail's Fairy Wizard."
He began to state whenever T'lem suddenly flew off into the sky, doing a little aerial trick before landing with the group again.

"Hey! If everyone here can fly, why don't we have a race! I bet it'll be more fun than any of these rides~"
Aayla piped up finally, liking the idea of being in control of herself when she was high up in the air, still deathly afraid of heights if she had no control...

The brunette watched T'Lem fly in the sky before landing on the ground and making a statement about Zoe being biologically human. Staring in bewilderment, she answered, "Um, I am biologically human. I am a caster of wind magic and therefore, it gives me the ability to fly."

At the suggestion of having a race, Zoe's ears perked up. She loved flying more than anything else and any chance someone gave her to go to the skies, she would take it without question. "That sounds like a wonderful idea, Aayla-chan. Let's do this!"

"There's an olfactory component as well?!" exclaimed T'Lem before she started sniffing all around Manayus before sighing and slumping her shoulders. "Awww... my olfactory receptor modules aren't detecting any traces of an aroma... Must be a particle that only has an effect on organics..." said the robot, sounding a little disheartened for some reason. She blinked at her own voice tone. "Huh, most irregular... emotional subroutines must be playing up again." T'Lem mused before she considered the proposition of an aerial race.

"Are you certain? This unit wouldn't want any of you to exhaust yourselves unnecessarily. I was built, even though I'm only the prototype, to replace you, so logically one could conclude that... what's the phrase again... searching memory core..." said the robot as she seemed to stare off into space for a moment. "Ah there it is. It was a song lyric. Anything you can do, I can do better I believe it went." T'Lem said with a pitying smile.

    "What?"
Aayla asked, opening her mouth to retort when Manayus raised his hand gently and placed it on th girls shoulder as he saw an annoyed tick cross her face. He went to try and console her, but Aayla just shook her head, a bright golden light surrounding her and covering two shapes that suddenly sprouted from her back. When the light clear, two large metallic looking wings were left behind on her back, stretching them out to their full length and careful not to hit Manayus or Zoe as she did so.

"I've raced a Sea Serpent and a dragon. I bet I can beat you."
She said competitively when Manayus just chuckled.

"Now girls this is a friendly race okay? Why don't we do say... a lap around the city? and the first one back here wins."
Manayus offered, extending his arms just as fairy dust began to become more apparent as it began swirling around him, lifting him off of the ground.

Some of the people that surrounded their particular area peered at the four people, three of whom were suspended in midair, with curious glances wondering what the small group was up to.

"Well then, if everyone is up for this, than shall we begin?"

Heero sat on a rooftop not far from the commotion down below; he had a huge stick of fried fish in his hand; and chomped away on it, eventually; an orange Exceed would plop himself on his head.

"Y'know, you could let em know you're here at the fair too!" Garfield commented; swishing his tail back and forth while looking down at Heero; who just munched away. The entire capitol of Crocus stretched out before them.

The Ferris Wheel, many buildings and hotels that seemed to be taking part in the event / holiday, since nearly every building had flowers hanging from it's rooftop or windows.

"Don't worry, I'll be saying a thing or two to Manayus-san, and to Zoe-chan...." Heero would then perk up and stand to his feet on the roof quickly. "RIGHT AFTER I BREAK THAT DAMN THING!!!"

Heero would point towards the 'WHACK AND TEST' machine down below in the distance. Garfield got a sweatdrop from his head; as the Exceed noticed below that Manayus and Zoe had used some kind of magic. At first, the cat wondered if things were about to spin out of hand; two Fairy Tail wizards using magic at the same time usually resulted in chaos or a huge battle. But it seemed that it was.....a race?

"EH?! Heero look!" Garfield grabbed his head and turned it towards the group suddenly, causing Heero to lose his balance and stumble off the roof. Barely regaining his balance in time; he landed on his feet at a stumble on the ground next to some people who looked extremely confused; some scared, some amused that he'd jumped (fallen) off of a roof. He would bow a few times before turning to Garfield with a clenched fist, fuming.

"Maybe I'll get a good look at Zoe and the other girls panties!!!" Garfield held both of his orange paws to his mouth and swished his tail back and forth standing on the ground in front of Heero; ignoring him, as the orange cat sparkled comically.

The Dragon Slayer merely got a sweatdrop over his head and made his way to the 'WHACK AND TEST' machine; standing in line as Garfield reluctantly left his view of the race and followed Heero to wait in line for the machine.

"Heheheheheh.....I'm gonna break this thing.....no one'll be able to use it afterward...." Heero would chuckle deviously to himself as he waited in line.

Just perfect... the dragon thought sarcastically, examining her body which was now settled in a baggy and rancid bear outfit. She couldn't quite understand how some people endured standing around in the searing daylight of Crocus in such a thing. But, either way she deserved this. "Uh, do you have an outfit that's a bit... I don't know, smaller?" one cherry red hue jerked into an irked twitch as she glared over at  the man. Melody brought her paws up to shield the entrance of her maw, vexing not to burst into laughter at the sight of Viola getting enraged in a bear outfit.

"Noope!~ Unless you'd like to pay for the damages in jewels instead?" he sneered, kneading his hands together with closed eyes. A vivid image of all her jewels dropping to nothing swiftly turned to her house departing, and her and Melody living out in the woods or streets once again. Viola's expression paled before she turned away with crossed arms and a soft frown. "Fine..." the dragon grumbled, though audible enough for the man to hear as he pursued up to her and discharged the bear head onto her own. It directly grew dim in the suit as she shifted around, peering through the two holes to catch sight of Melody mutely giggling. "You little...!"

"Okay okay! Now go and make some kids happy!" the man cheered, slapping his hand playfully on her back, pressuring her out of the curtain like tent and back into the open fair. The atmosphere was overly cheerful, while Viola was irritated as ever to be stuck in a situation such as this. "Pfft! Haha!" Melody laughed loudly, lastly on her shoulder. The dragon was urged to throw the fox, "Sorry, I just never thought you'd get into such a thing." the fox breathed, wiping a tear from her eye.

"Yeah..." she would growl, lowering her head. This was her first time, coming to a fair. She was not familiar with how the rules were, and how you had to pay to play games. Which is why she had gotten into this mess in the first place. Not paying. Breaking things. Heck! Viola was beginning to speculate if she should just disappear far away where these hands wouldn't hurt anybody, "Aye, Viola look," the fox pointed out just up ahead, "Mages." she was indeed right. From this distance, Viola noted that from the markings on the two girls upper arms that one was from Sabertooth and the other was from Fairy Tail. The dragon merely shrugged, knowing it didn't matter for she had absolutely no idea who they were. Though, then her eyes altered, causing her to choke on her own saliva as she saw Heero in the distance.

"Oooh!" the robot cooed as she looked closely at Aayla's extended wings. "Wow! They almost appear draconic in physiology! But the membrane and skeletal structure indicates a more distant cousin than a direct relation... analysing and scanning biological memory banks..." she said, her eyes growing distant as she looked through something. "Aha! Sea Serpent, Winged Variants, a very rare subspecies of sea serpent, only one recorded instance... owner is... You!" exclaimed T'Lem, her eyes widening before she squealed. "The probability ratio of this meeting are One thousand five hundred and sixty seven point four nine five to one!" she said before recalling the agreed upon race.

"If you two are certain... then let's go!" she said, forming a data-slate with her left hand that expanded up above them, a large number ten appearing on the screen. It began to count-down. T'Lem braced her feet on the ground and began to channel the magical energies. When the data-screen reached zero it let out a loud blare before it burst into lights and T'Lem shot off.

She wanted nothing more than to note how weird T'lem was to be around after her little outburst concerning her wings but decided against saying anything for the time being as she made a large countdown appear above them. Okay, well that was weird magic. She looked at the magic numbers as she tried to understand what kind of magic could have created them, when she felt a sudden rush of wind go by when the timer hit Zero. She shook her head as she noted the others had already darted off ahead of her and beat wins powerfully to take off into the air after them.

How could she let herself be distracted? Her wings were heavy and bulky to begin with, and probably didn't stand a chance against the others already... This sure didn't help.

The sudden aroma of the ocean filled her nose however, as she felt herself feel stronger and faster all of a sudden, noting however that there was fairy dust now dancing around her figure, helping her beat her wings faster and slowly start to catch up to the others. Manayus smiled as he soared forward after enhancing the young girls speed so that he too could catch up to the others.

Even with Manayus' boost though, Aayla didn't seem to be like the one that was going to win this race. She needed a way to get ahead.... and just manage to stay ahead long enough.... thats when an idea hit her and a devious chuckle escaped her lips. She suddenly flipped herself around, flying backwards as she took in a deep breath and aimed at the empty skies behind her.

    "Water Dragon's roar!"
She cried out as a powerful jet of water shot from her mouth, suddenly propelling herself towards the group of racers, however only managing to end up next to them.

Meanwhile, her dragon's roa suddenly washed down on those people below them, soakng everyone from outdoor shop keepers, to guests and pets.

It was finally Heero's turn in line. As he stepped up; the recognition on the face of the WHACK AND TEST attendant was in slow-motion; he dropped his jaw as none other than the Gold Salamander stepped up to the plate.

"Oi, is it O.K if I try?" Heero said, comically taking the mallet from the hand of the Attendant and bursting into sparkles. The crowd in line almost instantly recognized him as a crescendo of applause built as people started jumping up and down.

A couple Rune Knights formed a wall just incase people got too rowdy.

"And now! I, Heero Reyold! Shall display for you the might of the Dragons!!! I almost feel sorry for this machine!!! Fwahahahaha!!!"

Heero sparkled with the mallet on his shoulder and stepped up to the machine.

    After Puberty

    ~*MEN*~

Heero looked up at the chart and laughed at it as he cocked the hammer upwards; all the air seemed to go out of the area as Heero prepared his swing.

"SOOOOYAAAAAAAA~!" He cocked it up behind his head.

Water Dragon's Roar~ from somewhere; as a huge splash of water seemed to fall directly on Heero causing him to slip as the hammer tilted backward.

    'Ping!'

It hit the ground, with Heero still holding it awkwardly pulled backward by the wave of water; he was now upside down gripping a gigantic mallet.

"D-DAMNIT!!!" Heero would flip back up to his feet angrily and soaking wet; he would hold the hammer up above his head. Without thinking; Heero immediately flew into a rage at the machine and let out a huge scream; bringing down the mallet on the machine.

The metal bell ringer flew up way too fast; hitting the top and causing the entire machine to tilt backward as it 'pinged' loudly on ~*MEN*~. People ran away screaming as the WHACK AND TEST tilted slow...slow...slow...BOOM!.

It hit the ground kicking up a huge cloud of dust. As it cleared, Heero could be seen huffing and puffing in anger with a sweatdrop over his head as the Attendant just...stood there.

"D-DAMNIT MAN, I'm just trying to make a living at this fair!!! REALLY, you broke it!!!" he fumed at Heero, pointing at the downed Hammer machine. Heero just scratched his head and re tilted the machine up with just one grip and lift. After awhile--it flickered back to life good as new as crowds began to file back in line for the whack and test machine.

"I-it still works...thank goodness.........you're off the hook this time, Heero! Hahahaha......(damn I was afraid it broke...I don't have insurance on this thing...)" he chuckled happily in relief with Heero who gladly joined in the laughter at his own chaos. After awhile; Heero saluted the guy and thanked him for letting him play.

Eventually, Heero would look around; noticing his Exceed was gone. The orange cat was...who knew where in the fair at this moment....causing Heero to facepalm with worry. It was then that Heero felt a familiar presence.

Wheeling around once, he saw nothing but a thick crowd; people he didn't know moving about left and right, loud family conversations, kids carrying balloons...but he swore.

"Viola...?" a shot of Heero shrugging and looking around the crowd for awhile was shown, as eventually; he would stop and get a huge bag of popcorn and walk off deeper into the crowd.

Post by Zoe Schiffer 27th November 2014, 9:04 am

As the brunette floated in midair without seemingly any effort, she heard a bang to her side off in a distance which was loud enough to be heard towards her direction. Glancing to the source of the direction, she noticed that the outline of the figure looked seemingly like Heero's; a guild mate of hers as well as an H-Ranked wizard. Her prediction was proven to be right when she noticed that distinguishable blue hair of his. It made the wind mage wonder what he was doing here; he must have come for the same purpose as her.

From the corner of her eye, Zoe noticed a female dressed in a bear costume and she had to admit that the female looked quite cute. Accompanying her was also a fox which was quite an interesting sight. After her little race was over, she was sure to go meet that girl as well as Heero.

Her attention was then directed towards T'Lem as she declared the starting of the race, making a screen appear above them out of thin air with a countdown from ten. All four of the mages braced themselves and as soon as the screen displayed zero, Zoe flew upwards and started zipping through the air, her arms at her side and her legs completely straight making her surface area less.

"Woohoo! I am gonna totally win this!" However, it seemed as though T'Lem was on par with her but that was okay since Zoe loved a good competition once in a while. At the same time, Aayla caught up with them as well making Zoe glance backwards and downwards to notice all the people soaked from head to bottom with water including Heero leaving her wondering what had come to pass.

Manayus had also caught up with the girls and Zoe was more determined than ever. There was no way she would let them defeat in her own comfort zone, she had to show she was a good wind mage and just the idea of winning exhilarated her. Normally, she wouldn't be affected by competitions and such too much but perhaps, it was because this race was in the air that Zoe wanted to win real bad.

"SHADDUP!" a high pitched voice called, a sharp kick in the stomach knocking Viola onto the ground and onto her knees. There was an anger symbol that popped up just alongside her forehead as she noted it was a child kicking her. Apparently, this little boy assumed that she was a real bear, and grew determined to kill her off so that she wouldn't hurt anybody else. Meanwhile... "Stop that, Takeshi." a more womanly voice said, the kicking halting to a stop as Viola felt his presence be barely pulled back.

Are you his mother, ma'am? Thank you very much for stopping him, she would think to herself. It was somewhat of a nuisance to not be able to talk while enveloped in this entire baggy and ragged bear costume. "There's no telling where those filthy costumes have been! What'll we do if you catch some weird disease? Don't touch them!" another anger symbol popped up alongside the other one as the woman continued on, "If anything happens to Takeshi, I'm gonna sue your ass. You'd better be prepared, rip-off!" even more anger symbols popped up alongside her head.

Oh, so you were looking out for your precious child. That said... Viola casually stood back to her feet, head lowered with a shadow casting along her bear-headed face. Lightly, she reached forward, pushing the woman in the chest as she took a few steps back, startled. "Don't mess with me." Viola lastly said, a slight hint of irritation looming from her vocals.

"What was that for? Are you crazy? Wait, why are you even speaking?" the woman questioned, her son turning over at the approaching person. He was wearing gangish looking clothes, bobbing his head back and forth ridiculously. "Dad! Dad!" the little boy called, the man raising his brows in bafflement. "She just shoved me! Can you believe that!?" the woman exclaimed, hoisting her hand forward to point directly at Viola. "Oho? Getting' violent with a customer? Yer lackin' common sense. Take off yer costume so I can educate ya, rip-off." the man said, lowering his head to Viola's head. He began cracking his knuckles with a dark expression, veins visible on the side of his forehead as another anger symbol comically appeared by her head.

"The customer is king. But even kings... have things they shouldn't say." Viola said, lastly lifting her head with a meager frown pulled along her face, although, it wasn't like they could see the facial expressions she was making anyhow. "Whats with that? Dontcha get yer in for an ass-whoopin? A'ight then. Let's rock!" the man threw his fist at her, while the dragon effortlessly sidestepped the hit to throw her fist into his stomach, knocking the wind out of his lungs as he fell to his knees. The mother and son just stood there, pale faced and quite surprised. "Mom, that mascot packs a mean punch!" a kid off to the side said, pointing over at Viola. "Take a nice, long nap here," she glanced down at the man before stepping toward the woman and her child with a dark but comically expression, "Now it's your turn. You're about to experience what happens to people who call me a rip-off. Clench your teeth, ma'am!-"

Water, it came pouring down like a heavy wave, causing Viola to loose her balance. The mother and son dashed off into the crowds of people, while she stood there soaking wet. "...I'll get them later." she would huff, turning over to look at Melody, only... The chocolate brown fox was no longer there.

    ...

    ....

"Hey! Orangey!" yes, Melody had ditched Viola. Only because the stupid girl had gotten herself into another idiotic situation, and that the orange coloured exceed who wandered off appeared much more interesting that Viola's bear suited brawl. Okay, maybe that was interesting.. The fox rattled her head, eventually finally reaching the cat with heavy breathing, "You're... Heero's friend right?" she would query, lifting her head.

Garfield stood on the ground; as a few people passing him recognized him. A couple folks waved to the orange cat, who seemed to be completely spaced out.

With one paw up to his face in thought; he stood on the ground swishing his tail back and forth.

"But I wonder if Heero likes her more....." Garfield was currently plotting a way to get Heero a girlfriend. His last major relationship was awhile ago; and Garfield just wanted him off the market so that he could leap between more pairs of boobs that would then be unavailable to Heero. "Should I buy the gift for her....or her........." Garfield had narrowed it down to two, maybe three girls who he knew Heero liked; not the millions after him, but once he knew that he fancied.

"Viola, although she's always in trouble or Rita...although I don't know why, he would ever like Rita." Garfield tried to imagine Rita in a dress; but then afterward, the image of Rita in the thought bubble just started beating people up with glowing red eyes, causing Garfield's bubble to pop into smoke as he shuddered.

The cat heard a voice behind him as he looked around; naturally he looked up as he was used to doing so; but he just saw people, more people, balloons, flowers, more people. Eventually he looked right in front of him; and as he did so, he saw the familiar fox.

"What?! That menas Viola is here!!!" Garfield would turn his back, ignoring the fox's question and swishing his tail about. "This is the perfect opportunity...."

Garfield would then appear with his arm around Melody, sparkling as he walked off, ushering the fox with him as he made his way to a 'Giftshop for Sweethearts' store.

Eventually, Garfield would exit with a huge basket of gifts from 'Heero' to 'Viola'.

"Alright, this is all the stuff a lady could ever want. Perfume, Bath stuff, tickets to a couple movies, pajamas, sandals, new combs, make up kits, the works!!!" Garfield would drop the huge basket of gifts right on top of Melody's head, and then sparkle. "You make sure Viola gets that now, ya hear!!!"

Garfield would pop out his white wings in a small flash of light on his back and fly off quickly into the city with a "Fufufufufufu..."

Walking among the fair was none other than Rita Stebern, A proud member of the legal guild Fairy Tail. Today, Rita looked…well, different. She had… actually dressed like a girl?  Ironically, she was wearing a strapless dress, its silvery-blue fabric stretching down to her thighs.

Rita glanced about between bites of the cotton candy in her hands. There was so much more to do here in Crocus compared to Magnolia, one reason why she had taken the trip. Rita had heard about the fair, having never gone to one as a kid and in need of a break, she came here.  Away from Magnolia, her guild, and everyone she knew; the mage felt no need to dress as boyish as she normally did. Ha, it’s not like anyone she knew would be--

It was then, walking between a crowds of fair-goes that she spotted him, Heero Reyold.  Stopping in her tracks, the girl nearly choked on a piece of her cotton candy, Shocked to see her teammate here.  She thought she wouldn't run into any familiar faces in Crocus. Panicked, she looked down at her dress, snug and bringing out her curves better than her normal attire did ---This was terrible.  Rita couldn't let anyone see her looking so…girlish!

Praying that The Dragon Slayer hadn't spotted her, she turned to run. Phasing into that of a shadowy silhouette, She fled into a separate crowd, quickly vanishing into the pit of shadows at their feet. Leaving the civilians who noticed, startled.

    ---

Rita’s body ascended from the side of a ball toss both which was off to the side, coming up through the shadow the structure cast. Pressing her back up against it's wall, her chest rose and fell quickly, her breathing fast but silent.  She looked around, to the left, and to the right of herself before releasing a relieved sigh, a puff of air leaving her mouth comically. It appeared that Rita had lost sight of him, for now…  Surely, her negative magic pressure she gave off would be picked up by those who were familiar with it.

The cat met her eyes for a moment, the two just looming at each other with blank expressions before his boisterous voice caused her to cringe, blinking in bafflement as he turned around and mumbled a few words that were quite audible in this distance. "Huh?" the fox said, hues enlarging in startle-ment as the cat casually placed his arm around her and urged her to walk with him, sparkling identically to the way Heero would. She was pondering on snapping at him for even daring to touch her, but that moment ended as he quickly stepped into a meager shop called 'Giftshop for Sweethearts'. A sweat drop comically appeared by the side of her head as she peered up at the sign from the ground. Despite the store being small, it was much larger in her world. Wait, what the hell was she even doing here?

A short growl of irritation escaped the bottom of her throat, soft and not noticeable to anybody that was walking by. Not that the fox cared. She was actually quite amused by this place known as a fair, for it was her first time, along with Viola's on ever coming to such a place. The fox grew concerned for her dragon friend for a moment, turning off to see nothing but legs crossing her field of vision. Sometimes, she wished for a retired forest spirit like herself that she could fly... The pressure of something discharging onto Melody's head caused her to break away from her thoughts, looking back over at the orange exceed. A sweat drop appeared by the side of her forehead as he persisted that she hand this over to Viola. Does Viola even use perfume? she wondered, frowning meagrely to look down at the basket. There was a small piece of paper taped to the basket, reading ♥ TO: Viola FROM: Heero ♥ The fox's face paled as she peered up to question the exceed on why it said this, but, he was already gone.

"Dammit! Who said I could ever carry something... this big?" as if on cue, she spotted that familiar blue hair through the crowds of people, carefully making his way through while eating popcorn. Some girls, no, most girls were all staring at the Gold Salamander with heart shaped eyes, squealing, "Hey! Heero! Come over here! You have some explaining to do!" the fox called loudly, hoping to catch his attention despite the noise. He was a dragon slayer, so she did not doubt that he would not be able to hear her.

    ***

There's nothing better than walking around a fair, in a bear suit, soaking wet. Is what the opposite of her thoughts were this very moment. Slush, slush, slush. Ever time she stepped it was like stepping into a puddle. At first, she was very engrossed that somebody had purposely splashed her with water to distract her, but later on she realized most of the fair had gotten wet from one of the mages. I swear when I find the one who did this... they're gonna get it! her bear suited hand hoisted up in front of her chest, clenching tightly into a determined position before the brush of magic broke her away.

Off to the side, leaning against one of the festival games was none other than Rita. She was dressed nicely, if not a bit girly than the last few encounters she had seen her. Viola's eye twitched as she recalled this girl falling out of the sky and landing on her directly, hands casually groping her chest without notice. "Hey!" she called, weaving through some people and into the less crowded side area of the shop, "If it isn't Rita, what are you doing here?" she asked, leaning down with a smirk, although, it wasn't visible with this bear head on, and she didn't doubt that Rita wouldn't even know who she is, "...Are you hiding from somebody?"

[b]Out of the corner of his ear; which wiggled, he heard his name being called across the crowd by something other than a girl his age. Turning around and following the voice as best he could; he grabbed his hair and rung it out; as it's normal spikey-ness began to return from being wet.

He stumbled upon something...curious. A stack of girly gifts, swaying back and forth. Taking one knee, Heero lifted up the stack of gifts; and put it on his shoulder. Face to face with....Melody?

"H-Hey you! Whatt're you doing out here by yourself?" Heero picked Melody up and snuggled her to his face for just a moment, before getting a sweatdrop over his head after reading the note. "W-what!!! What are you planning Melody?!?!?!" Heero laughed for a moment, but then got 'ghost lines' above his head as he realized this plan could've only come from one...orange..source.

"D-damnit!!! Garfield!!!" Heero looked hilarious, fuming with a basket of girly gifts in his hand and an adorable fox tucked close to him. "Bastard!!!" in a few moments, Heero went past a corndog stand, and got a huge stack of french fries and three corndogs on a tray.

Deciding to enjoy the finer things in life (ketchup) with Melody, Heero continued to dunk fries and feed them too the fox.

When Heero and Meldoy had had their fill of fries and corndogs, Heero picked up a soda and walked with Melody and the huge stack of girl gifts in a basket.

"What the heck am I supposed to do with this thing........." Heero said raising the basket and looking at it once; a whiff of it hit his nose, causing him to think about girls and sparkle as he walked. He looked down at Melody and decided he wouldn't let such a cute fox walk on such a crowded street. Picking up the fox and tucking it under his arm, Heero walked onward through Crocus' fair. Naturally, Heero was a tough guy; in great shape for a 21 year old, already. But he had a natural brotherly protection instinct about him, since his sister had gone missing 3 years ago; Heero had no family left except for Garfield and his Guild. So he chose to look out for those close to him. Viola was no exception 'once a Fairy always a Fairy'; if anything happened to Melody, she would never be the same.

'I should've invited Rita...WHAT where did that thought come from!!!'

Heero got frustrated with himself as he carried the gift basket in his hand and plucked off the tag with TO: ♥Viola FROM: ♥Heero, and tossed it comically with a whirling sound. He was going to prank Garfield SO badly before he left this fair for this.......'You damn furball I know you're out there waiting to strike...' his eyes darted left to right comically looking for his own Exceed as he walked through the crowds.

Eventually he came to an open seating area with a fountain and sighed to himself over the sound of the water.

He put Melody and the basket of girly gifts down on the fountain and stepped up to it and looked down into the waters. He saw small jewels in it, probably flicked in for good luck.

Heero would pull out one jewel from his pocket, and spin it in his hand before flicking the sparkling stone upward as it twirled in the air and the hit the fountain's waters.

Heero then closed his eyes to wish at the fountain with the sound of the waters running in the city park around him. In the background, one could see some folks flying around in the skies above Crocus. Since most people were regular humans in Fiore, they assumed they were wizards and clapped and cheered; some kids pointed up at Zoe as her race went on.

To say Aayla was winning the race was a lie. She was slowly but surely both losing speed and altitude. Her wings weren’t meant for racing, they were meant to block attacks and strike during battle. Even with the sudden invigoration of Manayus’ fairy dust. She just couldn’t catch up and eventually stopped herself by landing on a roof-top and leaning on the chimney while panting heavily.

    “That was a bad idea…”
The girl grumbled to herself as she took one last fleeting glance at the gold sparkles that were left behind by Manayus before being distracted by another sound… The sound of large wings. Her eyes quickly dated towards the thick of the fair where her companion was swooping down towards the masses.

    “Zinnath! What are you!?”
She quickly took to the air again, racing towards the large winged serpent as her prey suddenly caught her own eye. A bright orange cat with white wings was travelling, seeming alone through the crowds… and Zinnath loved cats. Oh she wasn’t going to eat Garfield if she got a hold of him, however, a 5m long flying snake that weighed about 200lbs would no doubt absolutely terrify the small cat and make him think that the end was near.

    “don’t you do it!”
She called out to the Serpent. She knew the Serpent heard her as Zinnath tilted her head slightly, but then pressed forward to swoop down and scoop up Garfield into her mouth.

    Spoiler:

T'Lem observed that the wind mage was on par with her current air speed velocity, her memory core already running the calculations and computations that would have required wind element based magic to perform such a feat. Whilst they were neck and neck, it would appear that the Water Winged mage designated Aayla was having trouble maintaining her own altitude and speed. She sighed when Aayla dropped out of the race, leaving only the sparkling male and wind female to compete against.

She turned her focus back to the race itself, noting that by her calculations they had reached the half way mark... that's when her systems began to flare red warning lights within her Heads Up Display. T'Lem's flight capabilities were about to run off, imminently so. The robot immediately began to try and locate an appropriate landing site, grimacing that at this current velocity she would no doubt create some collateral damage upon impact with anything... save for water.

Her logic circuits indicated that she should inform her competitors of her dilemma, however, her core programming forbade this course of action due to the "desire" to prove herself superior. After a few seconds of scanning, T'Lem located a suitable landing site that would prove next to no collateral damage, to either civilians or buildings. And just in time as her thrusters died on her, resulting in her free-falling towards an empty portion of street that was currently under repairs. She slammed into the ground and bounced for a moment before landing against a wall, her neck apparently broken from the impact.

T'Lem blinked before sighing. "Appears this unit's calculations were off by several environmental variables... Adding data to memory core." she said before twitching her limbs. The robot frowned as her broken neck sparked a little. "Hmm... error detected. Damage to spinal section resulting in limited mobility... Limbs are operating within normal parameters... error lies in co-ordination of units. Solution..." she paused for a moment before sighing. "Requesting aid to be repositioned in an upright motion." said the robot as she looked around for anyone to perform such a task.

Rita frozen in her tracks, found herself called approached… by a bear.... The beast, fur wet, matted and ragged, towered over her by a entire intimidating five inches.  Its eyes appeared to beam red, bloodthirsty and evilly while a menacing spark of light glinted off of the suits teeth. It was then that a demonic and low laughter sounded through Rita’s head. Looking onward to the creature, the girl began to imagine these things in a comical thought bubble, lines appearing around her where she trembled.

'!' Wah! It knew her name--- There was only one reasonable explanation in Rita’s mind... Someone had hired a talking bear to find her and kill her!

“’I’m only hiding from giant, monstrous creatures like you!”  She yelled in response equipping her famous spray can of hell, pointing it up at the suit-clad Viola. There was a pause, then another, and she sprayed a great deal of pepper spray through the suits eyes. Immediately, the mage spun around and broke into a sprint in the opposite direction, 'evading' (throwing aside and breaking) anything in her path. Within seconds Rita had already crashed through, destroyed, three stands and four fair games including the ‘WACK AND TEST’. Tears pecked the corner of her eyes comically as she ran, raining behind her with the fear of being chased down by the beast.  A loud and distressed “Yiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!” emitted from the mage as she raced through the fair, a cloud of dust and catastrophe barreling behind her, the ground rumbling in her destructive wake.

(ooc: excuse my lack of quality today, Ive been busy and haven't had much time)
