The Cleric
Zenshin called for her to show up on the Shadow Island to proctor her B rank exam. It wasn't often that he got to run exams like this, so he was excited every time it was time for one. She should be here any moment now he thought while sitting down on the dead leaves of the woods. He had never actually been to the Shadow Island before, so this was a new experience for him and it will be for Kiersa. Once or twice he'd seen her around the guild hall but with all that he had to do, he had never really had a sit down with her. Well, not until now. She had been doing exceptionally in terms of jobs and it showed. It showed and he believed she was ready for a new classification of responsibility. All there was to do now was wait for her.

Re: The Cleric
Kiersa got off the boat as it landed on the island's beach, tilting her head to look up at the cloud covered skies above. The young nun frowned slightly at the dimmed sunlight that could make it through the clouds, what little breaking through being only just enough to tell the difference between night and day. She shook her head and looked at the message the Guild Master had sent her for her exam, detailing where she was to meet him and when. "Can't even tell what time it is though..." Kiersa muttered before sighing and quickly moving to reach the rendevous point.
If the nun was being honest with herself, she was absolutely nervous. Not only would this be an exam of her skills to advance to a higher rank of mage... but would also be one of those rare moments when she couldn't rely on her team-mates to help her. All she had was her Stigmata magic, her Celestial Spirits... admittedly that would just be Capricorn by himself since she couldn't summon any other spirits that could fight, and Avalon... And not to mention further pressure was being applied since it was the Guild Master himself that was proctoring the exam...
Kiersa gave herself a light slap to refocus herself, soon arriving at the meeting point. She curtsied before the Guild Master. "S-Sorry Master i-if I k-kept y-you w-waiting t-too long..." the nun quickly apologised.

Re: The Cleric
"Please, call me Zenshin. Or whatever is easiest to you. I don't quite like honorifics if the ones calling me them don't quite like saying it" he said calmly, sitting down and welcoming the nun to the island of shadow. Zenshin wasn't going to test her through combat if he assumed correctly about what she was aiming to do, but if she went do went down the same path as her team mates, then she very well may have to prove herself on the battlefield. "Before we begin, I need to know. Do you plan on following in the footsteps of your fellow teammates, or will you choose a different one?" he asked, recreating two, white, porcelain cups of warm tea.
"I hope you drink tea, if not I could conjure up whatever you do fancy" he said again to the mage before him before setting down the nun's cup on a small matching dish that he had just recreated on the grass at her feet. "Relax a bit. Take this a little less serious and loosen up a bit. We've already begun your exam, but it won't be pure combat. Mind you the only wrong answers you can give me are the ones that are dishonest or half truths, so tell me, what are your goals in this guild of ours?"

Re: The Cleric
The nun blinked a bit before blushing out of embarrassment and lowering her head a little. "I-I'm sorry i-if I m-made you th-think I... I t-tend to s-stutter... I d-don't mind ca-calling you by y-your t-title Master Zenshin... b-but if you p-prefer, I'll c-call you by your name sir..." she explained before sitting down with him for the tea he had just created. "Tea's f-fine sir. Thank you." said Kiersa, bowing her head in respect to the Guild Master as she sipped on the tea, pondering his questions.
"I... I'm n-not sure." she replied, in partial answer to both his questions. "Aayla h-had told me she s-sought to b-become a Knight... and I'm g-going to guess that Cirven's also s-seeking the same..." said the nun as she sipped her tea some more. She rested the cup against her lap for a moment as she thought about her answer. "F-From what I u-understand of Knights in Sabertooth... each is the e-embodiment of a different v-virtue yes?" she asked, looking at the Guild Master for confirmation.
The nun took another sip of her tea. "I g-guess to answer the f-first properly... I need t-to answer the s-second one f-first... I-If th-that's a-alright sir?" she asked Zenshin. Kiersa took a slow breath to consolidate her thoughts. "At the start... and partially still is... my goal in the guild is to get stronger..." began Kiersa. "I was raised as a Sister in service of the Maker... and I was taught I must put the needs of others first... and... I've been able to do that with several of the jobs I've done as a Sabertooth Mage... and would like to continue doing that..." said the nun, taking another sip of the tea.
"If... if f-following in m-my team-mates and friends f-footsteps is the path to d-doing that... then I shall." said Kiersa, biting her lower lip as she gave her answer. "Is... is th-that alright sir?"

Re: The Cleric
"Ehh, somewhat. Each of my Knights embodies their singular belief and as such I name the Knight depending on the kind of person they are. The only time this isn't the case is when they prove themselves worthy to become an Ace, though they are still on par with the other four Knights in my head. Also, this isn't a matter of if, Kiersa, it's a matter of what YOU want to do. What will you do with all of that power? Will you ever stop trying to become stronger? Obviously it isn't to continue doing jobs, as you could always take the D ranks for the rest of your life. I really need to know exactly what it is you plan on doing in the future. Strength is fine, but how will you use it? Following in the footsteps of others is also fine, but only if it's truly what you want to do." he began, explaining the system of Knights as well as questioning the girl to see what her desires were.
"Also that wasn't what I meant before about calling me master. I meant that some people think it's too formal or uptight, like me. I'd really prefer not to call other mages in higher positions things like officer or councilman, as an example. I didn't really pay your stuttering much mind" he then told her, trying to reassure the nun that he really didn't care how she spoke, only what she said. After that, he took another sip from his steaming tea that was beginning to cool down. What would a messenger of God do with all that power, I wonder? he thought. And how would she react if she knew that God and I are only separated by the hilt to his sword?

Re: The Cleric
Kiersa listened to Zenshin before frowning briefly at something he said, realising what she had said and quickly shook her head. "N-No... sorry, th-that w-wasn't what I h-had meant..." the nun quickly began to explain. "I m-meant c-continuing to help p-people... n-not continuing to d-do jobs." she said, hoping that that cleared things up a little.
She bit her lip as she considered how best to answer Zenshin's question concerning what she would do with all her power, and if she would ever stop seeking to become stronger. "...I w-would use my power to p-protect sir... to h-heal... to be a l-light in the e-ever growing darkness in the world. I... I m-may not be the s-strongest of warriors... b-but that w-won't stop me from trying to h-help." said the nun as she rubbed her arm. "I kn-know too well th-that there are monsters and demons out there... I... I lost my convent to one... one that I accidentally released... Now its roaming the world somewhere..." confessed Kiersa, trying to not cry into the tea.
"I w-wish to continue g-getting stronger... so I c-can set right the w-wrong I have done... once that is d-done... I would wish to continue helping people, h-however I may..." said the nun. "I kn-know I cannot d-do so a-alone though... n-not all the t-time... I-If my f-friends th-think that b-becoming a Knight i-is the b-best route for th-them to h-help others... th-then I w-would like to join them... I t-trust their j-judgement." Kiersa said as she finished her tea, leaving a sentence unsaid. I trust Aayla.

Re: The Cleric
"Very well. Your answer seems to be more honest than Cirven's idealistic way of thinking. I feel as though he tells me what I want to hear as opposed to what he really feels sometimes. Although I know he'll make a promising Knight, he needs to grow up and realize life isnt a fairy tail" Zenshin told the nun, admiring her reasons to acquire more power. "My seven Knights are indeed the strongest in the guild, possibly even Fiore itself, bringing a great sense of pride. Of course, it's a very difficult path to walk along and few ever make it, thus there are only seven. If you join their ranks, I have no doubts in my mind that you can atone for your sins there... but of course you need to be tested" he said with a smirk coming to his face and a blade coming to his hand.
It was The Memory, the same blade he used to defeat his master Aegis at the end of his training, and only just. The katana glistened in what little light it had, as shiny as it was oh so many months ago. A moment of peace past before Zenshin turned the weapon upside down and ran it through himself, piercing his stomach and his back all the way to the hilt of the blade. He dropped to his knees, knowing he had hit several vital organs. "Your first test... is to save me" he said before collapsing onto his side.

Re: The Cleric
The nun blushed as the guild master appeared to be praising her for her answers. That was until he summoned his gleaming katana into existence. She had known that she would be tested, and prepared herself... but she wasn't prepared for what he did next. Her eyes widened as he impaled himself upon his sword, effectively committing suicide in front of her... and leaving it up to her to save his life!
Kiersa immediately rushed to his side, removing the sword before looking over the wound quickly to assess the amount of damage that had been inflicted, swallowing slightly at the sheer extent of his injuries. "Maker, please, help me..." she prayed before holding her hands out towards the entry point of the stomach wound. "Stigmata of Grace!" she intoned, her eyes beginning to bleed out, blinding her. The nuns hands were soon enveloped in a soft light that would seek to permeate through Zenshin's wound, trying to regrow the damaged organs, repair the damage within his body, reconnect the severed veins and arteries, reknit his flesh... all whilst Kiersa could feel her own body ripping itself apart beneath her robes.

- Spell used:
Name: Stigmata of Grace
Rank: D
Type: Holy, Supportive, Healing, Instant
Description: The caster places their hands over the targeted area for instance if the targeted player was shot in the leg, the caster would place their hands over the wound on the leg. It is cast by uttering the word Stigmata, with both hands overlapping one another over the wound/infliction.
Range is close quarters, no more than an inch away from the target. Area of Effect is six inches in circumference around the targeted area. Speed is instant. Duration is one post, cooldown is one post.
Strengths:
• Heals 10% of any given wound targeted by the caster
• Reduces the duration of any disease, curse, and/or poison inflicted on the target by 50%
• Stems targets blood loss by 20%
Weaknesses:
• The 10% of the wound healed is transferred to the caster in the same place as the wound was on the target, i.e. if the caster heals the targets leg wound, the caster receives an identical wound of 10% of the initial damage that was dealt to the target.
• The same applies as above with any disease, curse or poison healed in this manner. The caster takes 10% of the initial damage at 50% the initial duration of the removed disease, curse and/or poison.
• The caster suffers from blood loss in their eyes for 5% of their total health, temporarily going blind for one post/turn.
• Cannot be self-targeted i.e. the caster cannot use this spell to heal themselves.

Re: The Cleric
Zenshin awoke soon after his stunt with the whole stabbing himself to test the nun, thing, but it all turned out okay as he looked up to see the girl seemingly healing him. He felt around his stomach and noticed that his wounds were healed completely and couldn't feel anything rattling within him, so he figured he was fine. With a smile, he got up, grabbed his sword, swung it hard into the air to get all of his blood off, and sheathed it without so much as a word. "I don't know if you worship to the same God that I know, but to be granted such powers of healing he must be quite generous" he said as he grabbed her shoulder with a glowing hand of his. "You could say that I was trained by a disciple of God, a fact that many don't know because they don't believe or because they think I'm crazy" Zenshin continued, transferring his pure magic essence to the hurt girl.
"I'm no fool. I know that a miracle comes at a cost equally as great, but it's good to see tat your powers of healing are no hoax". The girl's power was phenomenal, though it seemed as though the more she heals, the more she is injured. "Equivalent exchange, balance, these are concepts that form the very core of my being Kiersa. This singular principle is so important to me because it's one of the only truths, one of the only absolutes in this world of ours. Things that are unbalanced only lead to problems. Things that are balanced, however, are nothing but good. Things MUST be balanced. There MUST be a price to pay, and lucky for you, it's only physical injury". His magical energy was now flowing to her, sealing the wounds that ravaged her body and getting her ready for what came next.
"That was the first part, your specialty. You have a miraculous grasp on healing, though my Knights must be able to defend themselves. So get ready and aim to kill me, you'll die otherwise" he said, completely serious as he lowered his stance, moved his leg back, and grabbed the hilt of his weapon after unclicking it from its sheath with a slight motion of his left thumb.

Re: The Cleric
Just as the nun felt like she was about to pass out from her healing such a terrible wound, she felt a soft, warm light envelop her. She could feel her own injuries healing, and could hear Master Zenshin speaking to her. Kiersa blushed somewhat as Zenshin praised her for her healing abilities, before blinking as he ordered her to try and kill him. She had to take but one look at his posture to know he was being serious.
Kiersa bit her lip before slowly nodding. "A-Alright..." she said, before standing up herself and took a slow breath. If she was going to fight a Guild Master with the aim to... kill him, then she would need to use everything that she had available to her. She held forth her hand, exposing the ring on her finger to what little light there was. "Clad mine flesh in thine vestments, sacred shield of the Dragon of Divinity, sheathe to the sacred blade of Arturia! Lend me thine light, and grace mine allies even as thou damn mine foes! Shine forth, Avalon!" chanted the nun, a bright pillar of light suddenly erupting forth around her as the holy artefact took form.
The pillar of light broke just as quickly as it had come, and Kiersa stood there garbed in the ancient armour, awash with light. Taking advantage of the momentary blindness she was certain the Guild Master would be suffering right now, she quickly flicked open her pouch and drew forth a Golden Key. "Open the Gate of the Goat! Capricorn!" she summoned, a clock chimed from the thin air and the Zodiac Goat Spirit came forth in a flash of light of his own. "Yes milady?" he asked her, noting the Guild Master stood before them. "Will you help me fight him Mister Capricorn?" she asked of her Spirit, the Goat nodding before he sped towards Zenshin, aiming to land a solid spin kick from the right towards the human's head, followed up by a punch towards his throat.
Kiersa in the meantime held out her hands towards Capricorn. "Stigmata of the Seraphim!" she intoned, shields of light racing towards the goat to clad his arms and legs in protective magics. "Stigmata of the Seraphim." she intoned once more, cladding herself in the same magics. "Stigmata of Damocles, Double!" the nun invoked, twin blades of divine light emitting from her wrists, her hands falling lifeless. She sprung forwards towards the Guild Master, aiming to follow up from Capricorn's assault with her own blades, aiming to try and plunge the holy weapons into the mans chest.

Strengths:
• Reduces close quarters damage by 50%
• Can be cast on both arms and legs.

- Stigmata of Damocles:
Name: Stigmata of Damocles
Rank: D
Type: Holy, Offensive, Channelled
Description: The caster channels the spell through either arm or both to generate a blade of Holy magic.
Range is close quarters, blade length is one foot from the wrist. Duration is till cancelled/destroyed, cooldown is one post after deactivation post.
Regular damage D rank damage
Strengths:
• Deals 10% more damage to Darkness wielders
• Deals 10% more damage to Demons
• Can be channelled through either arm, or both if the caster so wishes.
Weaknesses:
• The caster loses the use of their hands during the channelling of the spell, i.e. they can’t pick up anything or cast another spell until they stop channelling Damocles.
• Cannot use the blades to guard against any attacks as someone with a regular blade would be able to.
• The caster suffers from blood loss in their wrist for 5% of their total health. 10% if they use both hands. Every post that the spell continues to be channelled for after initial activation, the caster takes 5%/10% damage until the spell is dispelled or stops being channelled.
- Gold Key Capricorn:
Name: Capricorn
Rank: Casters
Type: Offensive
Description:
"Open the Gate of the Goat! Capricorn!"
Capricorn is a tall humanoid, who possesses many goat-like traits: his body is covered in short, brownish white fur, with longer tufts covering his lower face, resembling a goatee, and the back of his legs, which greatly resemble those of a goat, being slightly bent backwards and ending in dark hooves.
He has short, thin ears sitting on top of his head, with a distinctive, elongated oval form, and horns which curve downwards and jut frontwards framing his face. From his lower back sprouts a mildly long tail ending in a dark tuft of fur, and his fingers sport long and dark nails, highly reminiscent of claws.
His elongated face possesses marked cheekbones and a prominent, large nose; his eyes are always hidden away by a pair of black, mirror polished shades, with the lenses fusing into a single one, possessing a hollowed part in order for them to rest on Capricorn’s nose.
The shades, predictably, come with dark arms, which, however, aren’t shown resting anywhere, due to the Mage’s ears being elsewhere. Capricorn possesses prominent, toned abdominal, and, while initially portrayed as lean-built, was later given a more massive, muscular appearance.
Casting speed is instant, duration is 4 posts, 5 post cooldown
Strengths:- Expert in hand to hand combat: Will deal physical damage at summoner's rank + 10%. I.e. if Kiersa is C-Rank, Capricorn will deal C-Rank + 10% damage. If B-Rank, will deal B-Rank +10% damage. etc etc etc. This is a natural boost in power.
- Enhanced Strength: Is able to easily lift people or items no matter the weight.
- Enhanced Speed: Is capable of moving at speeds up to 60mph.
Weaknesses:- No ranged abilities.
- Protective. Whenever Kiersa's HP reaches 50% or lower, he will pull back from whatever he is doing and remain by her side. The furthest he will ever move from her is 2 meters.
- Darkness magic deals 20% extra damage to him
- As he is a Zodiac Spirit, he costs 10 more SE than he normally would.
- Expert in hand to hand combat: Will deal physical damage at summoner's rank + 10%. I.e. if Kiersa is C-Rank, Capricorn will deal C-Rank + 10% damage. If B-Rank, will deal B-Rank +10% damage. etc etc etc. This is a natural boost in power.

Re: The Cleric
Zenshin watched as the girl summoned a goat to her side, most likely through the use of a celestial spirit contract judging by the golden key in her hand. Although he wondered how she could have acquired a golden key, as there were only 12 in existence, it wasn't too much of a big deal currently. In a second, it rushed him like a boxer would rush his opponent, arms close to body and torso slightly leaning forward while its lighting fast hooves kicked up dirt. He's quick, I'll give him that. But is he strong? was his initial thought before the creature was already beginning its attack. It spun around after planting itself a good distance from the guildmaster, immediately causing him to duck reflexively as he thought there was a kick coming for him and his head was the most vulnerable part.
Lo' and behold, a kick was indeed attempted but flew right through the air that his head was occupying no longer than a moment ago. Right after, the goat man went for a punch, only to collide with one that Zenshin threw to counter his opponent's. He looked into Capricorn's eyes and smirked, "You're stronger than you look, I'll give you that too. So let me give you a tip. You won't catch me with any fancy moves that take longer than a moment to perform. Imagine the world moves a little slower to me, thus I have more time to react to things. Especially if those things aren't immediate".
From the corner of his eye, he could see the nun approaching quickly, thought not as fast as the spirit, with her arms extended and blades of light on each of them. After clashing with the taller of his opponent's, Zenshin hopped back and faced the girl who was clearly going for his torso and hoping the speed of her running would allow her to impale him while he was most likely distracted. "Good follow up, but..." he began to say once she was in earshot. He sprung forward at her while bending his knees so that it would be impossible for her to hit his chest unless she altered her current course. In a single moment after that, he extended his knees as quickly as he could while holding out his fist in an attempt to uppercut the girl was as much force as his legs could provide.

Re: The Cleric
The Goat Spirit nodded at Zenshin's words. "Then I shall have to fight at meh full power sir." remarked the Celestial Spirit, even as the Guild Master charged his young Summoner. Kiersa saw the man charging her and somehow somersaulted over him, her blades arcing downwards in her spin, aiming to cut into his back. Capricorn moved into position where the nun was going to land, and acted as a living spring vault to propel her back at Zenshin. "Stigmata of Flight!" she invoked, her legs falling lifeless even as divine wings of light sprouted from her back, allowing her to maintain her missile-like approach towards Zenshin.
Capricorn on the other hoof, immediately sped towards the human at his top speed, this time aiming for a grapple as opposed to fisticuffs in order to try and hold the Guild Master in place for Kiersa's assault. He did take the opportunity though if successful to try and slam his horned furry head into the back of the Guild Master's own.
Kiersa spun in the air like a corkscrew, her divine blades whirring through the air like a pair of drills as she sped towards him, aiming once more for his chest. If he got out of Capricorns grapple, she would propel herself upwards into the sky to get a better stock on the situation, hopefully from an altitude where he could not reach her. About 30 feet should do it.

Name: Stigmata of Flight
Rank: D
Type: Holy, Supportive, Channeling
Description: The caster places their legs together, and intones the spell. A flare of light bursts from the casters back, half an inch from their body before it reveals a pair of magically generated wings that cast a trailing light behind as they fly.
Maximum speed is 20mph, and the flight only lasts for three posts, including initial cast post. Caster bleeds from their back. Cooldown is three posts.
Strengths:
• Allows the caster to fly, and physical attacks just go through them.
• Can be used in combination with any Stigmata spell that requires the arms.
• Wings can also be used as a light source in dark locations, or even a flash attack.
Weaknesses:
• The caster takes 5% damage each of their posts the spell is channelled for.
• Magical attacks can disrupt the spell and even shatter the wings.
• The caster loses the use of their legs during the spell’s casting.
• Cannot be cast onto others.

Re: The Cleric
Somehow, his opponent managed to see him coming and front roll over him, cutting into his back with her blades and causing Zenshin to stop a bit from the shock of the blow. "She's fast..." he said with his eyes wide before quickly standing up and turning around to see the girl flying through the air. The goat spirit took no time in running at him again, causing Zenshin to take a defensive stance and wait until just the right time to strike. He was close, but not close enough for Zenshin to have no time to react. In a single move, he turned the air around closed fists to mana and instantly created his signature weapon, The Reaper, in a spectacle of blue light and the sound of shattering glass.
Just as the creature would have gotten to his position, he took a deep step to its right side while ducking low, taking advantage of its tall stature. In another move, he placed the curved edge of the blade onto the front of its hooves and sprung forward, attempting to sweep the beast forward and cut into its legs while now focusing on the girl who was drilling towards him. With a smirk, he wanted to see if she was consistently fast or if the last attack she had landed was a fluke. Her blades weren't longer than the shaft of his scythe, so he thought it would be best to bring it up and stab the bottom of it right into the girl's forehead. At the speed she was going, it would be a miracle if she managed to avoid this, but then again, he was up against a nun.

- spells used:
Name of Technique: Energy Manipulation - Siphon
Rank: A
Type: Semi-Passive
Description: A power that replaced Zenshin's "finishing move" ; The Executioner. This is more practical and draws more on his ability to manipulate energy. It is a powerful semi-passive ability that will indiscriminately cast itself, which is both a strength and a weakness. Zenshin will siphon magical power from any spell cast in a 50 meter radius around him based on the magical power expended by creating an energy vacuum close to him that will suck in the energy from the very air which he will absorb. The spell absorbs half the cost of the magic power expended for any spells and weaken it by just as much for obvious reasons. As stated earlier, this power activates whenever the opponent casts *any* spell, so they could bait the activation with a weaker spell to set up an attack with a much more powerful one. Spells S-Rank and above will not be affected by Siphon. Due to the nature of this spell, it is free to cast.
Strengths:
- Weakens any spell A-Rank and below by half (A rank)
- Relatively low cooldown compared to other A-Rank spells
- Free to cast
- Doesn't affect allies
Weaknesses:
- Activates indiscriminately
- With the proper knowledge, the enemy could bait this ability
- Enemies out of his range are unaffected
- S-Rank spells and above are unaffected
Duration/Cooldowns Instantaneous / 5 posts
Name: The Reaper
Rank: C
Type: Magical Scythe, Re-equip
Description: The first thing made for him to store by his mentor, Aegis Bright, was a scythe in the exact image in which he imagined it to be. After it's recreation, it was also the first thing that Zenshin made a 'blueprint' of, so he could recreate it himself whenever he needed to use it or just had another unspecified use for the item. Probably because of his love of the particular type of weapon, he began training and using this scythe since he felt more comfortable using it than swords. This weapon of his is made from his mana and also has the potential to grow into something much more powerful. Regardless of its name, it has no specific elemental affinity, as stated earlier, its made from the 'pure' magic that is used by anyone who is a recreationist. Normally, this weapon would be too heavy for anyone but him to use effectively, unless the mage he was fighting has some way of disarming him, and making the weapon lighter than it really is. Aside from that, it is made specifically for him to use, as the snath is much longer than, say, a farming scythe, at five feet, and the blade itself extends out a three and a half. It has a rather intricate heel and the toe is bent upwards a bit, making puncturing a much easier task than normal. Other than that, the heel has a pattern of seven protruding, black spikes, making it almost as effective if he were to use the back to strike the opponent. At the top of the weapon lies a small, decoration of sorts resembling a crescent moon, which at first glance appears useless, but it is the most important part of the scythe. Basically, over time, it takes from Zenshin's mana supply and stores it inside the decal. Once full, Zenshin can transform his scythe into 'The Hope', a more powerful version of 'The Repear'. Furthermore, at the top, are tiny, sharpened ridges that resemble scales to a certain point, but are just there in case he needs to "break" a sword. Lastly, the entire blade above the ring is sharpened to a masterful degree, making it very lethal in the right hands.
Strengths:
- Powerful slashing attacks
- Could be used as an "anchor" when performing acrobatics
- Very light to him since it's made from his magic ; swings much faster than many expect
Weaknesses:
- Melee weapon ; useless when the enemy is farther than five feet away
- Not a very precise weapon normally ; Zen would have trouble hitting specific points on a body
- No utility other than being an anchor
- Not very effective at all when wielded single handedly
Duration/Cooldowns None / None [Re-equip type weapon]
- passives:
The Coat, Perseverance, and Energy Manipulation - Generous Thief, provide 13% magic power and 5% health regeneration per post as well as 10% boost to strength, 15% boost to speed, and -2% magic power leech from both enemies
Name: Stability
Rank: C
Type: Utility, Passive
Description: Something he expressly trained during his time training. One of the things he wanted to accomplish the most was to never be knocked off balance, even if a situation comes where the enemy believes there is no way he could still be on his balance should be broken. The reasoning behind this is that every time his balance would be broken, his body instinctively attaches itself to a leyline, very partially of course. It's not that he can't be knocked over, it's that when he is, or would be, pushed to the side, he recovers at a rate that isn't possible by humans without magic. Over time, this reflex was trained and mastered to the fullest.
Strengths:
- Very effective when he's in combat, as it is much harder to strike someone who can never be off balance
- Increases his capabilities for acrobatics dramatically, as the most important thing when it comes to that is balance
- Drastically improves the most important aspect of scythe combat ; the flow
Weaknesses:
- No direct offensive capabilities
- Doesn't really increase anything power or magical-wise
- Only affects his ability to balance himself ; A bit underwhelming
- Not directly defensive
Duration/Cooldowns Always active [Passive]
Name: Enhanced Perception
Rank: D
Type: Utility, Passive
Description: By stimulating the part of his mind that takes in and analyzes images with mana, he is able to increase his perception dramatically. Nothing like being able to see farther or better at night, not that kind of perception. The kind that allows for the prediction of trajectories and allows for ease when searching for 'hard-to-find' objects, such as a needle in a haystack. However, this isn't everything, only things in his immediate vicinity are able to be perceived through his 'advanced' vision.
Strengths:
- Everything in his immediate vicinity move are perceived slightly slower than they are by others, making them easier to dodge, but not by much
- Allows for the prediction of trajectories granted that hes seen how the weapon is swung by his opponent at least once
- Allows him to find exactly what he looks for if he focuses on this ability
Weaknesses:
- These predictions can only be made if the opponent is melee based, therefore ranged spells shot at him aren't predictable by this effect, nor are they perceived to be slightly slower
- His immediate vicinity is limited to four meters in his field of vision ; he cannot 'see' behind him or underground
- No directly offensive capabilities
- No directly defensive capabilities either

Kiersa winced as she saw Capricorn getting knocked down by Zenshin's scythe even as she spun towards him. "Return!" she called out, the Zodiac Spirit looking to his young charge before nodding and fading away back to the Celestial Realm. She saw the scythe now coming towards her, knowing that it would strike her down at these speeds. Kiersa closed her eyes and prayed to the Maker, continuing her attack.
The nun's flight path immediately somehow curved her out of the way of the scythe, bringing her inside its length and past the blade itself! Kiersa gave out a roar much like she had heard Aayla and Cirven bellowing as she drove home her assault on the Guild Master!

Re: The Cleric
Fool me once, shame on me... but twice? I don't fall for the same move twice Zenshin thought as he phased once he saw that she had somehow maneuvered around the bottom of his scythe's shaft. Another technique he developed from watching Aegis, Zenshin was able to move his being to a separate plane of existence for a small amount of time to dodge attacks and move if he needs to, but mostly for the first reason. Looks like I need to change up my plan. Perhaps I'll simply go on the defensive he thought after three seconds, more than enough time for the girl to move through the position that he had once occupied. When he phased back, he turned his Reaper into The Hope, the second scythe in his collection and the weakest not counting the one he had used to take down the goat. It transformed in another spectacle of glowing blow light, the blade in particular transforming to look more like a moon than previously. He was ready for round three, but was she?

Name: The Hope
Rank: B
Type: Magical Scythe, Re-equip
Description: A property of Zenshin's peculiar scythe is that it can do something close to... 'transform', so to speak. While he uses it, the scythe takes his from his mana, slowly, not to completely drain him while he uses it. Over time, the small, crescent moon decoration at the top of 'The Reaper' goes from a dim blue to a bright aqua once it's completely 'full', which takes some time since the weapon draws slowly from his power. To finally get 'full' with his magic power takes two posts of the scythe in his hands. Example: The post he casts 'The Reaper' it counts as one and he would be able to transform it at the end of the second post. Once it has reached its limit, 'The Reaper' won't draw any more power from Zenshin, and will either continue to have a bright decoration, or wait to be transformed. After it cannot store any more of his power, Zen is able to transform the scythe, making it glow a bright white for a few seconds while the blade grows in size significantly. Not only does it grow about a foot and a half in length, on both sides, it gets a bit taller and heavier as well. The "transformation" doubles the power of the weapon and makes it much more efficient to wield double handedly, since, even though it is much lighter because it's made from his power, it's still heavy enough to warrant that he not use the huge scythe with one hand. Other than that, the weapon weapon looks aesthetically pleasing to him, obviously, consisting of the blade turning into a glowing, crescent moon on its side. Even though this weapon is basically an 'upgraded' version of the previous scythe and full of magic power, it still has the potential to grow into something even more powerful, the "storage" center of the scythe being the eye-like carving around the center of the blade.
Strengths:
- Significantly more powerful than its predecessor
- Could be used as an "anchor"
- Able to slice through defenses of B-Rank of below
Name: Phase
Rank: D
Type: Utility ; Defensive
Description: Derived from a technique by the same name used by his mentor, Zenshin is able to 'phase' out of reality and into another one via a leyline. Due to his specialization, he can stay in this plane of existence for up to ten seconds without adverse affects, and even longer with them. He is also able to move by combining what he does with linkstep by using that kind of leyline before locating a *static* one at his target location and stopping there. The range for this is short as all of this at once takes up quite a bit of energy from him. As a downside to all of these -extra- effects, it will go on cooldown when he phases back into his home plane regardless of whether or not he used up his "allotted" amount of time.
Strengths:
- Allows him to dodge any one attack
- Allows him to remain "ethereal" for the duration of a potential AoE spell
- Let's Zenshin move around while in use
Weaknesses:
- He can only move once in a linear direction up to 5 meters before being unable to do it again ; Movement is quite limited
- If he's forced to go past the 10 seconds, the cooldown will double for every extra 5 seconds to a max of 20 seconds before he's forced back
- If the spell is figured out, the opponent can prepare for his re-entry
- He can't attack while phased

Her wings carried her twenty feet away from him before she landed to the ground, all of her spells dispersing, and the holy relic fading away from her in motes of light. She stood shakily as she regarded the Guild Master and his new weapon, biting her lower lip as she tried to figure out what to do. "I can't fight him... not like this..." she said, going over her options. She couldn't call on Capricorn again after sending him back to the Celestial Realm so soon... Crux wasn't a combat spirit, and she didn't have enough energy to summon Aquila...
Her own combat spells aren't working against him, and she doubted that Longinus would prove any more useful as an attack... But maybe it could serve as a distraction or feint. With Avalon gone though her body would begin to take the toll of her magics... so be it. The nun took up the L-Stance and held her hands forward. "Stigmata of Longinus!" she invoked, firing a divine bolt of magic straight towards Zenshin, even as blood spurted from her chest beneath her robes. She knew he would be able to dodge it or block it, and was counting on it occupying his attention for even a brief moment. Falling to the floor as if exhausted she invoked her next spell. "Stigmata of the Penitent." whispered Kiersa, her eyes bleeding out rendering her blind, as the divine chains sought to bind and restrain Zenshin.
If she could not kill him, then she could at least try to hold him in place till she could call on her Spirits again...

B-Rank and Higher are held for half the duration.
Strengths:
• Demons, Darkness magic users, and Shadow magic users caught take D rank damage each turn they are trapped for
• The trapped target is held in one spot for as long as the spell holds and cannot block or dodge.
• The chains themselves cannot be broken by physical means.
Weaknesses:
• The caster takes 5% damage for every post the spell is active for.
• Does not work on God Slayers or those with divine blood in their veins.
• The caster loses the use of their eyes during this spell and for a post afterwards.
• Cannot be used on more than one target

Re: The Cleric
Or maybe not... I never was one to wait around for an opponent to do something if they're idle he thought while she took an L-stance. Hmm, I wonder what she's gonna pull out of her masochistic bag of tricks next, and once the thought was finished, a spear of golden light was shot at him. She should know better than a fully visible ranged assault he thought again, this time bringing his scythe in a vertical motion from the ground behind him, sweeping upwards and deflecting the bolt towards the sky.
He wasted no time beginning to sprint towards the mage who wasn't even seven yards away when he heard what sounded like chains erupting from the ground. They were everywhere! In front, behind, and to his sides trying desperately to keep up with the guildmaster. Before long, he was already in front of the girl and spinning to gain even more momentum, but just as his blade was about to reach her upper torso, the chains wrapped around his arms and legs, pinning them to the dirt while Zenshin extended his open palm to try a desperate strike to her forehead, but no dice. He smiled at the girl who could by all accounts see to his knowledge and began to wrap extend razor sharp strings of mana from his finger tips and wrap them around her right arm. "Well you've got me. What now?"

- spells used:
Name: Energy Manipulation: Strings
Rank: S
Type: Technique
Description: The whole reason Zenshin can use these puppets for battle is because he attaches his strings made of light blue magical energy to them. But he can also attach his strings to any inanimate or animate object and manipulate them, or at least try to. It's a simple spell, but a potent one if used properly. Zen is also able to choose to make them razor sharp if he wants to grip onto an enemy that will cut deep if not dealt with immediately. Furthermore, the strings are very tough and require an S-Rank spell's worth of damage to be broken. The range of the strings is 25 meters and he can shoot out up to ten at a time, one for each finger.
Strengths:
- Medium range
- Can use to slice, throw, or grab any animate or inanimate object
- Hugh durability and no cooldown/duration
Weaknesses:
- Bottom line, these are glorified pieces of string
- No directly offensive ability
- Doesn't provide any buffs really
- Enemies could potentially use these against him if he misses them or he chooses not to use the razor sharp string

Re: The Cleric
Kiersa heard the chains confine the Guild Master, and let out a slow breath to compose herself, even as her body shuddered in pain. She had to hold this position though. She had to remain on her hands and knees, or else the chains would slacken and break... He asked her what was next. "N-Now... w-we d-die together..." she said slowly. The nun did not know if Zenshin's magic was based on Darkness or Shadows or not... but she was more than willing to take the chance if they were. "I c-cannot d-defeat you... n-not as I a-am now... A-And... th-there w-will be th-those... that a-are the same... out there." she said, coughing up some blood.
The nun could feel something curling around her arm, biting her lip as she could guess that Zenshin was up to something, but she could not see what. "I-If m-my life... w-would be the p-price to k-keep others s-safe... If it w-was the o-only option l-left to s-stop the e-enemy... then s-so be it..." said Kiersa defiantly.

Re: The Cleric
"I'm not dying here today, and if you're so quick to give yours up then I'm going to have to bury a member of Sabertooth. There's no honor in being a martyr. Sure, you may die so that others can live, but if there was any chance at all that you could live as well, then you squandered your life because you believed it was the only course of action" he said, explaining to the girl the difference between a hero and a martyr. No, they were not always the same. Over the years, Zenshin had noticed many that were too willing to die for whatever they perceived to be some greater cause, when in reality, no one had to die at all. He believed that those people were too tired with living thus wanted to end it on a good note, but that was simply selfish.
"Let me tell you one thing Kiersa. There will almost NEVER be a time where you must sacrifice your life for the good of others. Many go through their lives and not a single moment when that was required of them happened. Those who have and made the ultimate sacrifice went down as heroes, but those who did it too soon, did it without fighting. Those who did it thinking that there was no other way, they weren't remembered. They were cowards who gave up, and I don't want any cowards in my guild." he said seriously before asking her one last question.
"Kiersa, why do you blindly believe? Why do you have faith?"

Re: The Cleric
"And w-what if it was the only course to take?" she asked of the Guild Master. "If the only way to save lives in a b-burning building was to hold the beam, wouldn't you hold that beam till they were all out, even knowing that the smoke and fire would kill you to do so?" asked the nun. "You told me to kill you... I have no more ways than this..." Kiersa tried to explain, shaking her head, her bloody eyes watering in shame. "I'm not a w-warrior... n-not like you... not l-like Aayla..."
When he asked her about her blind belief, and her faith, her voice lost its stutter. "I was left on the steps of my convent as a newborn... faith is all I have ever known... When the demon destroyed everything, and killed everyone except for me, and I wandered out far from the only home I'd known... I didn't know who or what I would find... I could only hope... I could only trust in the Maker... I could only have faith, that I would find something, someone, anyone who could help..."
She slowly moved from her position, the divine chains breaking away as she left her pose. Kiersa lifted her blood filled blinded eyes upwards towards the Guild Master. "I cannot see now... just as I could not see then what the future held for me... but... my faith, my hope... it brought me here... to Sabertooth... to my team-mates... to my friends... my family..." she answered, feeling around for the Guild Master, trying to sense his magical presence.

Re: The Cleric
"If it truly is the only option then you become a hero. But otherwise fight until your last breath. I don't expect you to be something your not, but I do expect you to have faith in me, your guild, and most importantly, yourself. A good team is composed more of just warriors. Even the greatest ones need assistance, despite what they'd have you believe. We have warriors like Cirven, we have myself as well, but as a leader as well. We have Aayla as a level headed mind that looks at things relatively objective compared to her hot headed brother, and now, we have you. More support oriented and the embodiment of Faith in the guild." he began, dispelling his scythe and wires, kneeling down and placing his hands on her shoulders.
"Congratulations Kiersa. You are no longer a member of Sabertooth, well, the kind you have been, nor are you a Knight like Ryo, Aayla, or Cirven. No, you are to become one of the figureheads of the guild. I bestow upon you a title that I have been hesitant to give to anyone, as the only other one to hold it was me. Back then, I was known as the Paragon of Faith, but now things have changed. You are now to be known as The Royal Magus. Make your guild proud nun, for we will be seeing a lot more often and I expect you to be performing at your highest capacity" he said with a smile before beginning to heal her back from her current state.
