Personality: Aegis is a strange person with a personality others often find difficult to grasp. Generally he will try his best to always seem cheerful and happy infront of other people regardless of how he really feels like, mainly becouse he does not want to bother those around him with his problems. But beneath his cheerfulness he hides loneliness and sorrow he can not escape from. He also finds it difficult to talk to strangers and girls, though he does his best not to show it.
Aegis is a man who lives by what he believes in. He always treats everyone equally regardless of who they are - after all everyone is as much a human as anyone else so there should be no reason for them to be treated differently. Also, he will never turn down a request for help if helping the person is within his power, nor will he ever abandon or betray his friends.

When it comes to combat, Aegis always tries to see through his opponent's tactics in order to adapt his own. To him, fighting is, above all, a battle of wit where the first one to adapt is the last one to be left standing. When fighting alone, he focuses on reading the movement and tactics of individual or groups of enemies in order to find patterns and flaws. However, when fighting in a group he focuses less on countering the enemy and more on utilizing openings for attack created by his allies, betting mostly on overwhelming attack combinations. He avoids being the group leader due to his inability to think clearly when realising that the lives of his friends and allies will depend on his decisions. He is far more willing to risk his own life in his strategies, than he is willing to risk the lives of others.

Likes:
- Calm places, like forests and lakes, as they help him concentrate on honing his senses and practicing his combat abilities.
- Training, becouse he strives for self-perfection.
- To gaze up at the night sky, perhaps becouse it makes him feel calm and happy and it lets the knight leave all problems behind, even if for a little while.
- Helping people. Doing so makes him feel useful, which is something that he always tries to be.
- Music, and becouse he can see the beauty in almost all types of music, he listens to many different kinds with delight.

Dislikes:
- People who would betray others for their own personal gain. He sees that as one of the worst things one can do to the people close to them as it destroys the faith in others and often ... their smiles aswell.
- Hot days, as he just can't stand heat. He would much rather freeze to death than put up with strenght-sapping heat all day long.
- Not being able to comprehend an opponent's tactic, as it makes it difficult for him to adapt to the enemy's style.

Motivations:
- His beliefs - everyone is equal, so they shouldn't be deprived of that equality; his friends and allies are his family, so he shouldn't never abandon or doubt them; everyone deserves to live a happy life, so he should protect the happiness of anyone he can.
- The ideal that, if he tries hard enough, he can save everyone and defeat any evil that stands in the way of him doing that and even though he realises that that is just a beautiful and unachievable ideal, he refuses to let go of it.

Fears:
- The greatest fear Aegis has is that one day he will once again loose everything he holds dear to evil and he will not be able to do anything about it.
- A tremendous fear of heights which he is trying to overcome.
- Fire magic becouse of his past. Long ago he used to have a place he calls home, aswell as precious friends and family but that was all destroyed when an unknown fire mage suddenly attacked his home, killing everyone Aegis loved and leaving him for dead in the burning ruins of what once was the symbol of safety for the young knight.

Appearance: Aegis has a slender and muscular build and is of medium height. His clothing consists of a black sleeveless shirt with a blue trenchcoat worn over it. The left sleeve of the coat has a light-weight metal gauntlet over it attached to a piece of metal shoulder armor with a peculiar sword insignia, similar to his amulet, made of slightly glowing diamond on it.He always keeps his coat unbuttoned. Aegis also wears black trousers with light plate metal armor sewn into the side of the right leg, paired with dark combat boots. He also wears a fingerless knuckle glove on his right hand.

Well, I already wrote the paragraph regarding combat but it seems I forgot to actually seperate it from the first one XD. I blame the time I posted that for it.
And regarding guilds, will the character being guildless have some kind of effect on him ?
